Abstract:
Pumpkin belongs to the Cucurbitaceae family. In Ararat valley we are cultivating mainly 3 species: Cucurbita pepo, C. maxima, and C. moschata. Its fruits have many valuable properties. Pumpkin pulp contains minerals, vitamins, starch, sugar. It was envisaged to identify the varietal characteristics of pumpkin, fruit and seed yield in the conditions of the Ararat valley. We studied 6 samples of different types of pumpkins to identify oil productivity of their seeds. Germination of the studied accessions was 91¬–96%. Some of them germinated friendly, while others gradually. Martuni population and Sem variety from the C. pepo have been marked as the earliest flowering and fruiting with vegetation period 103 and 105 days accordingly. The studied varieties differed in the shape and weight of the fruit. The largest fruits were observed in maxima pumpkins (5.5–5.2 kg). The yield of varieties varied from 29.7 to 40.1 t/ha. The purpose of our research was to study varieties of different types of pumpkins for detecting oil productivity of their seeds. Among the pumpkin varieties studied, the varieties Martuni population, Ararati Vardaguin and Sem (1.22, 0.95, 0.92%, respectively) were distinguished by a high quantity of seeds. The largest yield of seeds per hectare was obtained from the Martuni population, Berkanush, Ararati Vardaguin, which amounted to 379.4, 341.9 and 339.0 kg/ha. Among the varieties under study, the Martuni population, Ararati Vardaguin, Sem and Berkanush, which are characterized by high productivity and seed yield, are of great interest. The most promising for obtaining oil is a variety Sem.

Abstract:
A large area of the Ararat plain has been heavily deformed by modern agricultural activity, including the cultivation of land and the construction of a water channel. These activities have made prehistoric sites that originally bore non-pronounced landforms less visible in the current landscape. As a result of such heavy land deformations, reconstruction of the Ararat plain’s prehistoric landscape is becoming increasingly difficult. In this situation, it is worthwhile to gather fragmental information on prehistoric sites in the Ararat plain that were investigated during previous unpublished research, and then evaluate them through current scientific methods.

Abstract:
Dirofilariasis is distinguished by the causative agent provoking dirofilariasis: Dirofilaria immitis and Dirofilaria repens. In the territory of Armenia, dirofilariosis is studied little. The article addresses the evaluation of the spread and prevalence of dirofilariasis in Ararat Province of the Republic of Armenia. The research was focused on herding dogs. The research showed that 100% of cases were caused by D. immitis; the average prevalence among herding dogs in Ararat Province was 16,6%. Most dogs infected with Dirofilaria were aged 3 to 5 years. Therefore, in the territory of Armenia, there is an active local focus of dirofilariasis in carnivores with the active involvement of herding dogs in its spread

Lo studio di tesi intende analizzare due dipinti di Vittore Carpaccio riferibili all'episodio leggendario dei diecimila Martiri del monte Ararat (entrambi conservati alle Gallerie dell'Accademia), applicando una modalità di lettura interdisciplinare: muovendo da un approfondimento sulla vicenda critica che ha interessato il pittore, e da una contestualizzazione storico-artistica delle opere, si proporranno alcuni spunti di analisi stilistica ed iconografica, per toccare poi il tema della modalità esecutive della bottega dell'artista, anche in riferimento alla sua ampia produzione grafica superstite. Brazil is considered the most diverse nation in the world and is estimated to have more than 13% of the world biota and 1919 species of birds. However, their removal from the natural environments for both illegal trade and captive maintenance, presents one of the main problems to be solved by the competent organs of fauna protection. In view of this, the centers for the rehabilitation and sorting of wild animals, responsible for receiving, identifying, marking, triaging, evaluating, recovering and allocating specimens of native wildlife were instituted. These institutions make an indispensable contribution to the process of conservation of ex situ species and are strong allies in the relocation of species in their habitat. The objective of this dissertation was to obtain data about the avifauna received at Pro-Arara, a Wildlife Rehabilitation Center created in the municipality of Araras-SP, generating information about the factors that affect the different species and motivate the delivery of these in this type of enterprise, as well as to develop a computer registry system to assist in local management. To do so, data recorded from July 2014 to July 2016 were considered for all species received and destined, as well as their provenance, analyzing by the documentation submitted by the environmental police. The development of the computer program was carried out jointly with the computer sector of the Municipality of Araras and the data collected were compiled and organized in a descriptive statistical way. During the study period, 607 birds were received, totaling 61 species distributed in 15 orders and 25 families. The most frequent order recorded was the Psittaciformes, Psittacidae family, comprising 49.59% of the total number of birds received. Within this group, individuals of the species Psittacara leucophthalmus (18,29%), Brotogeris chiriri (9,56%), Ara ararauna (7,74%) and Amazona aestiva (6,92%) predominated. Seven species are listed in the list of endangered fauna in the State of São Paulo: Ara ararauna (47), Ara chloropterus (1), Alipiopsitta xanthops (1), Sporophila maximiliani (5), Amazona amazonica (9), Sporophila angolensis (16) and Cyanoloxia brissonii (4), corresponding to 13,67% of the total. Regarding the provenance of the animals received, seizures by the environmental police (64,74%), followed by rescue of animals in situations of danger carried out by the competent organs (16,8%) predominated, and spontaneous self-surrender Population, in which the animal was in an irregular domestic guard (9,72%). Of the total number of animals received, 56,01% were referred to areas of release and monitoring in the State of São Paulo and 23,40% remained in the process of rehabilitation. The percentage of deaths recorded was 14,5%. From the results obtained, it is concluded that the Pro-Arara is a fauna enterprise with great importance for the conservation of avifauna species in the state of São Paulo and it would be important to be expanded to increase its capacity to receive animals. Another important action is the intensification of environmental education work, to raise people´s awareness in relation of the role of species in the natural environment.
O Brasil é considerado a nação com maior diversidade no mundo estimando-se que possua mais de 13% da biota mundial e 1919 espécies de aves. Entretanto, sua retirada dos ambientes naturais tanto para o comércio ilegal quanto para manutenção em cativeiro, apresenta-se como um dos principais problemas a ser resolvido pelos órgãos competentes de proteção à fauna. Diante disso, foram instituídos os centros de reabilitação e triagem de animais silvestres, responsáveis por receber, identificar, marcar, triar, avaliar, recuperar e destinar espécimes da fauna silvestre nativa. Estas instituições prestam contribuição indispensável no processo de conservação de espécies ex situ e são fortes aliadas na realocação das espécies em seu habitat. Sendo assim, esta dissertação teve como objetivo a obtenção de dados a respeito da avifauna recebida no Pró-Arara, um Centro de Reabilitação de Animais Silvestres criado no Município de Araras-SP, gerando informações sobre os fatores que afetam as diferentes espécies e motivam a entrega destas nesse tipo de empreendimento, bem como desenvolver um sistema computacional de registro para auxiliar na gestão do local. Para tanto, foram considerados dados registrados no período de julho de 2014 a julho de 2016 referente a todas as espécies recebidas e destinadas, assim como suas procedências, analisando a documentação entregue pela polícia ambiental. O desenvolvimento do programa computacional foi realizado em conjunto com o setor de informática da Prefeitura Municipal de Araras e os dados coletados foram compilados e organizados de forma estatística descritiva. No período estudado foram recebidas 607 aves, totalizando 61 espécies distribuídas em 15 ordens e 25 famílias. A ordem mais frequente registrada foi a Psittaciformes, família Psittacidae, compreendendo 49,59% do total de aves recebidas. Dentro deste grupo predominaram indivíduos da espécie Psittacara leucophthalmus (18,29%), Brotogeris chiriri (9,56%), Ara ararauna (7,74%) e Amazona aestiva (6,92%). Foram registradas sete espécies que constam na lista da fauna ameaçada de extinção no Estado de São Paulo: Ara ararauna (47), Ara chloropterus (1), Alipiopsitta xanthops (1), Sporophila maximiliani (5), Amazona amazonica (9), Sporophila angolensis (16) e Cyanoloxia brissonii (4), correspondendo a 13,67% do total. No que diz respeito à procedência dos animais recebidos, predominaram as apreensões realizadas pela polícia ambiental (64,74%), seguidos de resgate de animais em situações de perigo realizado pelos órgãos competentes (16,8%) e, entrega espontânea realizada pela própria população, a qual o animal encontrava-se em guarda doméstica irregular (9,72%). Do total de animais recebidos, 56,01% foram encaminhados para áreas de soltura e monitoramento no Estado de São Paulo e 23,40% ainda permaneciam em processo de reabilitação. O percentual de óbitos registrados foi de 14,5%. A partir dos resultados obtidos, conclui-se que o Pró-Arara é um empreendimento de fauna com grande importância para o auxílio na conservação das espécies de avifauna no estado de São Paulo e seria importante ser ampliado para aumento de sua capacidade de recebimento de animais. Outra ação primordial é a intensificação dos trabalhos de educação ambiental, para a conscientização das pessoas em relação ao papel que as espécies exercem no meio natural.

O sucesso na criação e conservação das araras depende de boas práticas de manejo e da identificação e tratamento de doenças, o que pode ser desafiador, pois as aves tendem a mascarar os sinais de enfermidade. Sendo assim, a utilização de ferramentas diagnósticas como o proteinograma é imperativo, pois são capazes de avaliar de forma abrangente o estado de saúde desses indivíduos. Este estudo teve como objetivo determinar o proteinograma de araras mantidas em cativeiro por meio da eletroforese de proteínas, correlacionando a espécie, sexo e ambiente com possíveis variações no perfil eletroforético, assim como buscou averiguar se infecções por hematozoários hemosporídeos se prestam como modelo de resposta de fase aguda, acarretando modificações no padrão proteico. Ademais, pretendeu avaliar a eletroforese de proteínas como ferramenta diagnóstica. A eletroforese em gel de agarose das proteínas séricas foi realizada em diferentes espécies de araras, fêmeas e machos, positivas e negativas para hemosporidioses e alocadas em três grupos distintos conforme o ambiente de origem no Distrito Federal ou Goiás. Não foram evidenciadas alterações significativas nas frações proteicas entre indivíduos positivos e negativos. O sexo interferiu nas concentrações de pré-albumina, as quais foram inferiores nas fêmeas. O fator ambiente resultou em mudanças nas frações β e γ globulinas. Concluiu-se que a variável ambiente é a maior responsável pelas discrepâncias observadas e atribuiu-se a isto a presença de uma possível enfermidade crônica. Por fim, pode-se afirmar que a eletroforese de proteínas é uma ferramenta diagnóstica muito sensível, porém, inespecífica. ______________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT
Success in breeding and conservation of macaws depends on good management practices and the identification and treatment of diseases, which can be challenging, because the birds tend to mask the signs of illness. Thus, the use of diagnostic tools such as proteinogram is imperative, as they are able to assess widely the health status of these individuals. The aim of this study was to determine the proteinogram of macaws kept in captivity with protein electrophoresis, correlating the species, gender, and environment with possible changes in the electrophoretic profile, and to establish whether infections by blood hemosporidian parasites may be used as a model of acute phase response and modify the protein pattern. In addition, this study intended to evaluate the protein electrophoresis as a diagnostic tool. The agarose gel electrophoresis of serum proteins was carried out in different species of macaws, male and female, positive and negative for hemosporidiosis, and allocated into three distinct groups depending on the original environment in Distrito Federal or Goias. There were no significant changes in protein fractions between positive and negative individuals. Gender has interfered in prealbumin levels, which were lower in females. The environment has led to alterations in β- and γ-globulins fractions. It was concluded that environment is the most responsible for the observed differences and this is probably attributed to the presence of a chronic illness. Finally, the protein electrophoresis is a highly sensitive, but non-specific, diagnostic tool.

Este trabalho foi desenvolvido no garimpo do Araras, localizado na margem direita do rio Madeira, no Km 40 da BR 425, em Nova Mamoré, Rondônia, e originado a partir de uma ocupação, por garimpeiros, de uma área que estava sendo pesquisada para ouro por uma empresa mineradora. A partir da disseminação da notícia de que havia muito ouro no referido local, formou-se uma currutela, hoje Vila do Araras, que teve seu auge de produção aurífera e crescimento demográfico em 1992, quando havia aproximadamente três mil habitantes e cerca de trezentas dragas e balsas. A partir desta data, começou a fase de esgotamento dos depósitos auríferos aluvionares, dando início à saída da população para outras áreas de trabalho. Porém, uma parte dessas pessoas permanecem até hoje na vila do Araras, motivo pelo qual escolhemos o lugar para realizar a presente pesquisa, que objetiva detectar os níveis de impacto ambiental e em que condições sócio-econômicas vivem essas pessoas, propondo medidas visando reduzir os efeitos negativos produzidos durante mais de dez anos pela lavra do ouro.
This study was developed in the Araras gold garimpo, located along the right margin of the the Madeira River, km 40 of BR 425, in Nova Mamoré, Rondônia. This city was originally founded by prospectors and the locale was also investigated by a mining company. After word got out that there was alot of gold in this area, it quickly turned into a mining camp, today known as Vila do Araras. This town reached it's peak production in 1992 when there were approximately 3000 inhabitants and ca. 300 dredges and mining boats functioning. After this date, the alluvial gold deposits began to give out, thus the population of the region also decreased as many workers sought employment elsewhere. However, some of the original prospectors still remain in Vila do Araras. For this reason, we selected this place to carry out this study. Resumo: Este trabalho foi desenvolvido no garimpo do Araras, localizado na margem direita do rio Madeira, no Km 40 da BR 425, em Nova Mamoré, Rondônia, e originado a partir de uma ocupação, por garimpeiros, de uma área que estava sendo pesquisada para ouro por uma empresa mineradora. A partir da disseminação da notícia de que havia muito ouro no referido local, formou-se uma "currutela", hoje Vila do Araras, que teve seu auge de produção aurífera e crescimento demográfico em 1992, quando havia aproximadamente três mil habitantes e cerca de trezentas dragas e balsas. A partir desta data, começou a fase de esgotamento dos depósitos auríferos aluvionares, dando início à saída da população para outras áreas de trabalho. Porém, uma parte dessas pessoas permanecem até hoje na vila do Araras, motivo pelo qual escolhemos o lugar para realizar a presente pesquisa, que objetiva detectar os níveis de impacto ambiental e em que condições sócio-econômicas vivem essas pessoas, propondo medidas visando reduzir os efeitos negativos produzidos durante mais de dez anos pela lavra do ouro.
Abstract: This study was developed in the Araras gold garimpo, located along the right margin of the the Madeira River, km 40 of BR 425, in Nova Mamoré, Rondônia. This city was originally founded by prospectors and the locale was also investigated by a mining company. After word got out that there was alot of gold in this area, it quickly turned into a mining camp, today known as Vila do Araras. This town reached it's peak production in 1992 when there were approximately 3000 inhabitants and ca. 300 dredges and mining boats functioning. After this date, the alluvial gold deposits began to give out, thus the population of the region also decreased as many workers sought employment elsewhere. However, some of the original prospectors still remain in Vila do Araras. For this reason, we selected this place to carry out this study. The objective of this study has been to determine the levels of environmental impact and what the current socio-economic conditions of the remaining populace is. By doing this, we propose measures with the intention of reducing the negative effects created during more than ten years of alluvial gold mining.

Esta é uma continuidade da nossa dissertação de Mestrado “Panorama Histórico do MOBRAL: operacionalização no município de Araras”. Em Cenários do MOBRAL: caso de Araras/SP, o objetivo foi verificar algumas práticas de professores que lecionaram no MOBRAL em Araras, interior de São Paulo. Os cenários aqui apresentados foram se formando por meio dos relatos que continham as vivências e experiências de nossos colaboradores aliados aos sons emitidos dos documentos escritos. Nesses, foram incluídos documentos oficiais elaborados pelos organizadores do Movimento, documentações cedidas pelo Arquivo da Prefeitura Municipal de Araras, jornais arquivados na Câmara Municipal do Município e também alguns livros de Matemática utilizados no MOBRAL, localizados na Fundação Biblioteca Nacional do Rio de Janeiro, além do diário de campo e as canções que fizeram parte da composição do trabalho. Abstract: The present research was named "Scenarios of MOBRAL: Araras/SP case". This is a continuation of our master dissertation "Historical Background of MOBRAL: operationalization in the municipality of Araras". In MOBRAL Scenarios: the case of Araras/SP, the objective was to verify how some practices of teachers who taught at MOBRAL in Araras, interior of São Paulo, developed. The scenarios presented here were formed through the reports that contained the experiences and experiences of our collaborators allied to the sounds emitted from the written documents. These included the official documents prepared by the organizers of the Movement, documentation provided by the Archive of the Municipality of Araras, newspapers filed in the city council and also some books of Mathematics used in MOBRAL, located in the National Library Foundation of Rio de Janeiro. of the field diary and the songs that were part of the composition of the work. Among the many authors chosen to deepen the reading, all others being no less important, we can cite: Elias (1998), Hobsbawn (2005), Freire (1983), Freire (1987), Freire, Adorno (1995), Freitas (206), Paiva (1987), and Romanelli (1983). AbstractJoseph Lade Pawsey was born in the Western Districts of Victoria (Australia) at Ararat on 14 May 1908, the only child of Joseph Andrews Pawsey (27 November 1865–30 June 1943) and Margaret née Lade (27 December 1879–8 August 1969). It was a humble enough beginning for a man who would have a life so different to almost all his countrymen. And yet Joseph Lade Pawsey’s individual experiences and unique career were shaped by the general trajectories of his generation. Spending money may have been very limited, and the family’s fortunes somewhat fragile, but the young “Lade” was nonetheless born into the growing social prosperity of a fresh new nation, the economic and technological growth of the twentieth century. He was a product, too, of the socially progressive values of the time, strongly reflected in his family (McCalman, 1993 and Bashford & Macintyre, eds., 2013).

Abstract:
Our research is devoted to the study of the prevalence of leishmaniasis (on the example of identified cases) in stray dogs in the Syunik and Ararat Regions of Armenia. In May 2022, in the settlements of the Syunik and Ararat Regions of the Republic, we examined five stray dogs, outbred females aged from 6 months to 2 years for leishmaniasis. One dog was examined in the cities of Meghri, Kapan and in the village of Tegh, Syunik Region. Two dogs were examined in the village of Yeraskh, Ararat Region. Our studies have shown that the invasion prevalence (IP) in the population of stray dogs in the Syunik and Ararat Regions of Armenia is 100%. The examined animals looked quite healthy and felt good. Skin lesions in the form of epithelium desquamation on the nose were only recorded in one dog (20%) in Kapan, Syunik Region. Thus, we confirmed that in the Syunik and Ararat Regions of Armenia, a local natural focus of leishmaniasis is actively functioning, in the spread of which stray dogs are actively involved, which indicates the circulation of parasites in the study area and the possibility of infection of other animals and humans through carriers. Prevention and control measures of leishmaniasis should include measures to control the number of stray dogs, control the incidence in domestic dogs using serological tests, and measures to destroy mosquito breeding sites.

Dirofilariasis is distinguished by the type of causative agent of dirofilaria - Dirofilariaimmitis and Dirofilariarepens. Dirofilariasis is practically not studied in the territory of Armenia. The article is devoted to determining the spread of dirofilariasis and the extent of the invasion extent in the Ararat region of the Republic of Armenia. The objects of study were shepherd dogs. It was found that in 100% of cases the causative agent is D. immitis; the average invasion rate of shepherd dogs in the Ararat region was 16.6%. The largest number of dogs with dirofilariasis was between the ages of 3 to 5 years. Thus, in Armenia, a local focus of carnivorous dirofilariasis is actively functioning, in the distribution of which cattle dogs are actively involved.

Abstract:
The main goal of this paper is to provide the results of a study on the regional distribution of dirofilariasis (causative agent: Dirofilaria immitis, Dirofilaria repens, and other concurrent filarial species in animal reservoirs) among the canine population in Georgia and Armenia and estimate the disease burden in these countries. In total, 1065 animals were investigated in the different regions of Armenia and Georgia, and 26 positive cases were detected. The prevalence of dirofilariasis is 2.4%. However, it varies across regions from 0% to 25%. The Kruskal-Wallis test showed that variation is sta-tistically significant (P=0.01). The majority of positive cases (11) were from the Kvemo Kartli region (Georgia). The highest number (7) of cases have been found in the Armavir region (Armenia). The other cases were found in Tbilisi / Capital City of Georgia (two cas-es), Yerevan / Capital City of Armenia (two cases), Shirak Region (two cases), and only one case in regions Achara and Ararat. Bir araya gelme, birleşme, bütünleşme, uyum anlamlarına gelen entegrasyon, süreç olarak ilerler ve birçok faaliyeti, gündemi, değişkeni içerisinde barındırır. Göçmenlerin entegrasyon süreçleri oldukça zor aşamalar içerir. Bunun sebepleri arasında sosyal, kültürel, tarihsel, ekonomik, dinî, siyasi ve coğrafi farklılıkların olması, göçün her dönem yerel halk ile yabancılar arasında gerçekleşen gerilimli bir sahada vücut bulması ve dinamik süreçlerinin mevcut politikalar ve toplumsal gerçekliklerle çatışması olduğu söylenebilir. Entegrasyonun sağlanabilmesi için toplumsal kabul ve uyumun karşılıklılık ilkesi içerisinde bir arada gerçekleşmesi gerekir. Abstract:
Geleneksel yargı usullerinde iş yükünün fazlalığı ile uzun ve pahalı yargı süreçleri, tarafları yıpratmakta ve tarafların adalete geç ulaş-malarına sebep olmaktadır. Yargılama sürelerinin uzunluğu ve bu süreçte tarafların katlanmakla yükümlü oldukları sorumluluklar bir problem haline gelmektedir. Bu sebeple dünyada ve ülkemizde özellikle yerel mahkemelerde tarafların barışçıl yöntemlerle çözüme kavuşturulması ve tarafları, tatmin eden sonuçlara hızlı ve ucuz yollarla ulaşması amacıyla çeşitli alternatif uyuşmazlık çö-züm yöntemleri geliştirilmektedir. Bu usuller, bir uyuşmazlık yaşanması halinde hakem sözleşmesinde olduğu gibi önceden; ara-buluculuk veya uzlaştırma sistemlerinde olduğu gibi sonradan tarafların bir araya getirilerek konuşmalarını ve müzakere etmelerini amaçlar. Alternatif uyuşmazlık çözüm yöntemleri, bağımsız ve tarafsız üçüncü kişilerin yönetimiyle tarafların kendi sorunlarına kendi çözümlerini üretmelerini hedefler. Bu politika notunda, arabuluculuk ve uzlaşma yöntemlerinin mevcut durumu değerlendirilecek ve ulaşılan veriler ışığında somut çözüm önerileri paylaşılacaktır
