Multiple myeloma (MM) is the result of deregulated proliferation in malignant plasma cells that secrete an overabundance of a monoclonal immunoglobulin (Ig). Resumo: analisamos a tecnologia e marcas traceológicas de 27 lâminas lascadas em granito, diabásio e basalto de dois sítios da Tradição Aratu do Sudoeste da Bahia. O protocolo aplicado é o aperfeiçoamento da abordagem testada em lâminas dessa tradição no Oeste da Bahia, agora intensificado nos atributos traceológicos. Comparativamente, mostramos os resultados sobre uma lâmina experimental de granito usada na terra. O presente artigo aborda dois sítios no sul da Bahia: Pedreira, escavado dentro de um projeto de contrato e Água Vermelha, alvo de um salvamento pontual de urnas funerárias. A partir de uma breve revisão de dados das fases Itanhém/Itaúnas da tradição Aratu, o contexto de ambos os sítios é usado para discutir as características da cultura material.
