A method of locating structural damage is developed and tested to aid in the evaluation of structural health. This method will help minimize the cost of structural inspection and repair by informing engineers of where damage, due a seismic event, has occurred before the removal of finishes for visual inspection. Curvature is computed by the Digital Straight Segments algorithm. Matching is done using the process of evidence accumulation similar in approach to the Generalized Hough Transform. This research examines the canvas, or 2D picture plane, as the expressive and dynamic problem space of the artist who naturally reframes both the problem and the solution with each successive mark. The fluidity of the artist's mark is the most important el

First, the current synthesis challenges are addressed in creating smaller monometallic shape-controlled metal nanocrystals, and novel cuboctopods via a hybrid nanoparticle stabilizer. Abstract:
Network performance metrics such as delay variations and packet loss influence the performance of the network. As a consequence, the performance of applications on the network is also affected as most of the networked applications existing today are very much sensitive to the network performance. Therefore it is of utmost importance to test the intensity of such network level disturbances on the performance of applications. A network traffic shaper/emulator shapes the network traffic in terms of these performance metrics to test such applications in a controlled environment. Most of the traffi
