Abstract:
The ideology of deconstructivisim is a relatively new design style, and has a profound philosophical connotation. Deconstruction works usually pay attention to reflecting the diversity of buildings, and their design techniques are more exaggerated and weird to make people unable to understand their law. By the study of the deconstructive architects' design career, we can conclude as follow: the kind of trend has a great influence on architecture, also deeply affects modern design education; education philosophy of many famous architectural colleges in America and Europe with their students’ de

One's way of travel dictates one's perception of the surroundings; People's mode of transportation has also evolved greatly throughout the ages. From foot traffic to carriages, to cars and trains, we tend to travel in faster paces, on increasingly linear paths, and with less freedom to wander. In my opinion, it is starting to become difficult to appeal to this emerging group of moving spectators with traditional ways of building. In my thesis, I explore ways to design buildings that focus on creating perspectival images for the moving spectators who are traveling on modern transportation.<br>M

It questions how to deal with the shift from physical reality as reference of existence toward an infinite spectrum of virtual realities. The second part concerns a way of thinking - a fiction to explain the phenomena of disappearance - in drawing a parallel to recent thinking models in physics formulating the disappearance of matter. This shift of thinking is so fundamental that it literally reverses our notion of body and materi

The adage “lending freely against good collateral at a penalty rate” is associated with his name and his book has always been set on a pedestal and is still considered as the leading reference on the role of lender of last resort. Nonetheless, without a clear understanding of the theoretical grounds and the institutional features of the British banking system, any interpretation of Bagehot’s writings remains vague if not misleading—which is worrisome if they are supposed to provide a guideline for policy mak
