The goal of this doctoral thesis is to map and evaluate the current situation of folk architecture in the region around the city of Uherské Hradiště on the example of selected villages. Later, these findings will be compared with the archive of prof. Antonin Kurial. The text has been extended to include currently listed buildings and output of this work is a new catalogue of buildings of folk architecture in the above mentioned region.

Abstract:

Thesis deal with tuning of database Oracle, which is used by digital archive SAFE. In the concrete deal with setting parameters of database. It is divided to three parts. In first part it characterizes factors that influence performance of database. In second part it describes possibilities of tuning and setting Oracle database. In third part it is first introduced digital archive SAFE, after that it is chosen suitable testing tool for workload generation and described test scenarios and last are performed tests and compared results at different database database settings. Goal of thesis is description and trial tuning of Oracle database, which is used by digital archive SAFE. Other goal is test of files inserting into digital archive at different settings (saving to the database, on file system). These goals are achieved by testing tool workload generation and compare response time at different settings. Contribution of this thesis is above all trial of tuning Oracle database, which is used by digital archive SAFE. Document can be used like handbook for implementatory of tested implementation of digital archive SAFE.

Abstract:

The objectives of this project are to create a concept of system for multimedia documents management and long-term archiving and its realization. The opening chapters are devoted to theoretical analysis of the expected characteristics of this systém and their implementation in open source document management system Alfresco, which was used for implementation. Other chapters are devoted to modifications made to this system, which are enhancements to work with multimedia content and its metadata. Also possibilities of connecting the system to other systems are mentioned. Finally, this document also describes testing the changes and adjustments according to various criteria.

Abstract:

This thesis focuses on the interpretation of harpsichord sonatas written by Josef Antonín Štěpán / Joseph Anton Steffan (1726–1797), who was an important figure in Viennese musical life of the eighteenth century. His works influenced a large number of his contemporaries, including Joseph Haydn, Jan Křtitel Vaňhal, Leopold Koželuh, and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. His compositional procedures departed from period conventions: a number of his sonatas and concertos for keyboard instruments begin with a slow introduction to an opening fast movement; he experimented with one-movement forms (sonatas, capriccios); in 1778 he published the very first collection of Germans songs with piano accompaniment in Vienna. The foundation for his music is his detailed knowledge of counterpoint and thoroughbass practice, and he draws on influences from Italian music, Czech folk music, the Gallant style and the Sensitive style. In his late works, he even arrives at a Pre-Romantic style. It is incomprehensible that he has nearly been forgotten in spite of his fame in his own day. In an attachement there is enclosed a critical edition of Steffan´s sonatas, PicŠ. 19–21 issued in ARTA (April 2017). Este estudo pretende, num primeiro momento, identificar as traduções portuguesas do discurso de Cícero Pro Archia , os seus autores e o contexto histórico e cultural em que foram produzidas. As traduções inéditas encontram- -se aqui editadas e as edições impressas com mais de uma edição têm uma edição crítica. Há ainda lugar a uma reflexão sobre as possíveis edições latinas do Pro Archia consultadas pelos tradutores. O segundo momento é dedicado à análise comparativa destas traduções, que assenta quer em aspectos linguísticos e lexicais específicos quer nos processos de tradução de cada texto, relacionando-os com o contexto de produção de cada uma.
First, this study aims at identifying Portuguese translations of Cicero's speech Pro Archia , their authors and the historical and cultural context where they were produced. Unpublished translations are edited in this work and translations published more than once have now a critical edition. I also indicate possible Latin editions of the Pro Archia consulted by Portuguese translators. In the second part of this thesis, there is a comparative analysis of those translations that includes linguistic and lexical items and a study of translation processes of each text interrelating them to the production context of each one.

Abstract:

The subject of the Graduation thesis is the solo and chamber literature found in the archives of Prague. The objective of this work is to map the literature related to double bass in six particular archives. The most important part of this thesis are tables with the results of the research. The found works are listed with signatures for better reader´s orientation and for possible looking up of the material. Different chapters of this thesis inform us the hisory of the relevant archives, explain the research methods and describe the found material.It is in essence a self-contained abstract of double bass literature in the city of Prague which might be used ( not only) by the bass players as a guide while finding a required title. Last but not least, it is to help to extend their horizons in musical history.

Abstract:

The thesis presents the main points of standardization of remote sensing (RS) usage for Forensic Ecotechnique: forest and trees (FEft). Based on the study FEft expertise database, the types of expertise, which remote sensing data have already been used and the types where the use of remote sensing increases the exactness of solutions were analyzed. RS data are essential in a problematic situation when an examined object does not exist or has been changed at the time of the assignment. This situation may be solved by obtaining information about the investigated object via retrospective image data, as described in the model example. There are chosen categories of image data relevant to the needs of experts in this thesis. These categories of RS data and their products are described with an indication of their possible use in the expertise processing, including freely available or paid resources and archives of image data.

Abstract:

Until now among the works catalogue of the harpist and composer Elias Perish Alvars there was no trace of a composition called " Grande Fantasie sur des Airs Nationaux Anglais" for solo harp. We have found it in the library archive of the Czech Museum of Music in Prague: it is a manuscript autographed by the composer, dated 1843 and never publishe before.The main section of the dissertation regards the manuscript itself. The studying of it has been faced from a formal, harmonic, stylistic and historic point of view. After an introduction about the "Fantasia" every air is examined in detail, without leaving out the historic information behind every section. The most important part is then the critical edition of the manuscript that respects very carefully all the indications made by Parish Alvars in person.After a section to the enchanting figure of the composer, his life, works and the period he had lived in, the work gives references also to the double action pedal harp that had the main role in the harp music harp since its patent of 18140. The "Grande Fantasie" interesting discovery is composition and we are glad to present it in this dissertation work.

This thesis presents a study on the process of creation and performance of the Pro-Document - National Program of Documentation of Historical Preservation developed by the extinct National Pro-Memory Foundation - IPHAN FNPM and that, between 1984 and 1988, had as central objective the preservation of private collections as important documents for the recovery of memory and national identity. Focused on the study on the recognition and preservation of private documentary heritage in the country, it analyzes the Pro-Document's proposals in the context of the discussions about new memory demands, renewal of Brazilian historiography and documentary preservation in the 1980s. the documents of the Central Archive of IPHAN - Rio de Janeiro Section, as well as various publications such as the Revista Acervo, the National Archive, the Annals of Congresses of AAB and ANPUH and the AAB Archive and Administration Magazine. The main objective of the thesis was to understand the Pro-Document more comprehensively through an examination of the proposed historical dimensions, conceptions and policies on the preservation of documentary heritage in our country. It was also interesting to inquire about reasons and paths that led to the forgetting of this IPHAN program in the specialized literature on the subject in the following years
Esta tese apresenta um estudo sobre o processo de criação e atuação do Pró-Documento - Programa Nacional de Documentação da Preservação Histórica desenvolvido pela extinta Fundação Nacional Pró-Memória – FNPM e que, entre os anos de 1984 e 1988, teve como objetivo central a preservação de acervos privados como conjuntos documentais importantes para a recuperação da memória e da identidade nacional. Focado no estudo sobre reconhecimento e preservação do patrimônio documental privado no país, analisamos as propostas do Pró-Documento no contexto das discussões sobre novas demandas memoriais, renovação da historiografia brasileira e propostas relativas ao papel das instituições arquivísticas e a preservação documental na década de 1980. A pesquisa teve como fontes centrais os documentos do Arquivo Central do IPHAN – Seção Rio de Janeiro, além de publicações diversas como a Revista Acervo, do Arquivo Nacional, a Revista Arquivo & Administração da AAB, os Anais de Congressos da AAB e da ANPUH. O objetivo central da tese foi compreender de forma mais ampla o Pró-Documento por meio de um exame das dimensões históricas propostas, das concepções e políticas sobre a questão da preservação do patrimônio documental em nosso país. Interessou também indagar sobre razões e caminhos que levaram ao esquecimento desse programa do IPHAN na literatura especializada sobre a questão nos anos seguintes

Abstract:

The design of cultural centre is situated in part Kozia Hôrka( well-known city swimming pool), in its advantage takes natural scenery and calm atmosphere of place. Into action of performance brings a message in form of body of reservoir, function of centre is divided into small parts placed in area Kozia Hôrka. Orientation of objects comes mainly from local natural ispirations. Complex is multifunctional in concept, counts with several sorts of culture - sports events. Whereby the main function of swimming pool is preserved and added for higher comfort of inhabitants. Architecture of objects comes from idea of floating leaf on water level and body of reservoir. Objects stylizely illustrate this idea. The design takes the game of solids of organic and strictly ortogonal shapes. Two mutual opposites, in interaction. Objects smoothy and with respect encroach the environment, which is enough marked by human. Simplicity in used materials ( glass, steel, wood ) give transparency and purity to whole solution.

Abstract:

La tesis se encarga de analizar, por un lado, la integración y el desarrollo de las nuevas tecnologías en la Administración de Justicia; y, por otro, los parámetros que constituyen la validez y eficacia del documento electrónico.
La primera cuestión se centra en la configuración de los Sistemas de Información de la Oficina Judicial y del Ministerio Fiscal, así como de la informatización de los Registros Civiles, donde el art. 230 LOPJ es la pieza clave. Se estudian sus programas, aplicaciones, la videoconferencia, los ficheros judiciales y las redes de telecomunicaciones que poseen la cobertura de la firma electrónica reconocida, donde cobran gran relevancia los convenios de colaboración tecnológica. La digitalización de las vistas quizá sea una de las cuestiones con más trascendencia, teniendo en cuenta que el juicio es el acto que culmina el proceso. Aunque no todos los proyectos adoptados en el ámbito de la e.justicia se han desarrollado de forma integral, ni han llegado a la totalidad de los órganos judiciales. El objetivo final es lograr una Justicia más ágil y de calidad, a lo cual aspira el Plan Estratégico de Modernización de la Justicia 2009-2012 aprobado recientemente.
En referencia a la segunda perspectiva, no cabe duda que el Ordenamiento jurídico y los tribunales, en el ámbito de la justicia material, otorgan plena validez y eficacia al documento electrónico. Nuestra línea de investigación se justifica porque cada vez son más los procesos que incorporan soportes electrónicos de todo tipo, ya sea al plantearse la acción o posteriormente como medio de prueba (art. 299.2 LEC). Entre otros temas examinamos el documento informático, la problemática que rodea al fax, los sistemas de videograbación y el contrato electrónico.
La tesi s'encarrega d'analitzar, per una part, la integració i el desenvolupament de les noves tecnologies dins l´Administració de Justícia; i, per l'altra, els paràmetres que constitueixen la validesa i l'eficàcia del document electrònic.
La primera qüestió es centra en la configuració dels Sistemes d´Informació de l´Oficina Judicial i del Ministeri Fiscal, així com de la informatització dels Registres Civils, on l'art. 230 LOPJ es la peça clau. S'estudien els seus programes, aplicacions, la videoconferència, el fitxers judicials i les xarxes de telecomunicacions que tenen la cobertura de la firma electrònica reconeguda, on cobren gran rellevància els convenis de col·laboració tecnològica. La digitalització de les vistes tal vegada sigui una de les qüestions amb més transcendència, tenint amb compte que el judici es l'acte que culmina el procés. Però no tots el projectes adoptats en l'àmbit de la e.justicia s'han desenvolupat d'una manera integral ni han arribat a la totalitat dels òrgans judicials. L'objectiu final es assolir una Justícia més àgil i de qualitat, al que aspira el Pla Estratègic de Modernització de la Justícia 2009-2012 aprovat recentment.
En referència a la segona perspectiva, no hi ha dubte que l´Ordenament jurídic i els tribunals, en l'àmbit de la justícia material, donen plena validesa i eficàcia al document electrònic. La nostra línia d'investigació es justifica perquè cada vegada son més el processos que incorporen suports electrònics de tot tipus, ja sigui quant es planteja l'acció o posteriorment como a medi de prova (art. 299.2 LEC). Entre altres temes examinem el document informàtic, la problemàtica que envolta al fax, els sistemes de videogravació i el contracte electrònic.
The thesis seeks to analyse, on the one hand, the integration and development of the new technologies in the Administration of Justice; and, on the other, the parameters which constitute the validity and efficiency of the electronic document.
The first question centres on the configuration of the Information Systems of the Judicial Office and the Public Prosecutor, as well as the computerisation of the Civil Registers, where the art. 230 LOPJ it's the part key. Their programmes, applications, the Video Conferencing, the judicial registers and the telecommunication networks which are covered by the recognised electronic signatures, are studied, where the agreements on technological collaboration gain great relevance. The digitalisation of evidence might perhaps be one of the questions with most consequence, bearing in mind that the judgment is the act by which the process is culminated. Although not all the projects adopted within the compass of e.justice have developed completely nor have reached all the judicial organs. The final objective is to achieve an agile, quality Justice, to which the recently approved Strategic Plan for the Modernisation of Justice aspires.
With reference to the second perspective, there is no doubt that the juridical Ordinance and the tribunals within the compass of material justice grant full validity and efficacy to the electronic document. Our line of investigation is justified because there are more and more processes which are sustained by electronic supports of all kinds, whether it be at the establishment of the action or later, as a proof of it (art. 299.2 LEC). Amongst other things, we examine the computerised document, the problems which surround the fax, the systems for video recording and the electronic contract.

Abstract:

The goal of the diploma thesis is to put forward a procedure for implementation of an institutional repository at the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague with the aid of an analysis on the current situation of institutional repositories in Czechia. The analysed repositories are selected using OpenDOAR and ROAR registries. The first part of the thesis describes the software used to implement the institutional repositories in Czechia. In the next part tools, standards and certifications relevant for trustworthy institutional repositories such as DRAMBORA and PLATTER, standards ISO 16363 and ISO 14721 and the so called lesser certifications Data Seal of Approval and Nestor Seal of Trustworthy Digital Archives are described. Following part focuses on policies and operation of those analysed repositories. The last part of the thesis deals with a description of current practice on the Czech University of Life Sciences, the conducted quantitative analysis among the researchers of the university and the aforementioned procedure for implementation of an institutional repository using the tool PLATTER. The conclusion summarizes the issues of institutional repositories in Czechia.

O presente relatório de prática de ensino supervisionada versa sobre a unidade didática de Latim A concebida e realizada no âmbito de uma turma de 11.º ano, da área de Línguas e Humanidades, da Escola Secundária de Sacavém, no ano letivo de 2012/2013. Enquadrada na temática “Organização Social” do Programa de Latim do 11.º ano, a unidade lecionada propõe a análise de textos de Cícero, autor cimeiro da literatura latina, que figura em todas as antologias deste nível de ensino. À exceção do primeiro excerto apresentado em aula (adaptado da obra De Oratore), todos os demais são passos de Pro Archia Poeta - magistral defesa do valor das letras e das humanidades, a propósito da legitimidade da cidadania de Árquias, que propicia não só uma reflexão literária, como também cultural. Os textos, apresentados na forma original, com algumas notas, foram selecionados em função dos conhecimentos prévios da turma e da matéria gramatical a introduzir na unidade didática - a oração infinitiva, visando, assim, também a sua exploração linguística. Além da descrição sumária das aulas realizadas, do relatório constam também as situações, tarefas e materiais de ensino, bem como a justificação das estratégias concebidas em função das dificuldades manifestadas pela turma. A análise e a interpretação dos resultados obtidos no exercício de avaliação, realizado no fim da prática de ensino supervisionada, permitirão refletir sobre o processo de ensino-aprendizagem e sobre outras metodologias e estratégias de trabalho para melhorar a prática pedagógica e incrementar a aquisição efetiva dos conteúdos abordados, não só na língua latina, mas também na língua portuguesa.
The present work of supervised teaching practice focuses on the teaching unit of Latin conceived and carried out in an 11th grade class, of the area Languages and Humanities, in the High School of Sacavém, in the academic year 2012/2013. As part of the theme "Social Organization" of the Latin Program for the 11th grade, the unit taught proposes the analysis of Cicero’s texts, a proeminent author of latin literature, appearing in all the anthologies for this level of education. Except for the first excerpt presented in class (adapted from De Oratore), all other texts are from Pro Archia Poeta - masterful defense of the value of literature and the humanities, regarding the legitimacy of Archias's citizenship, which allows not only literary, but also cultural reflection. The texts, presented in the original form, with some notes, were selected on the basis of prior knowledge of the class and of the grammar content to introduce in the teaching unit - the infinitive clause, aiming also at its linguistic exploration. In addition to the summary description of the classes held, the report contains the situations, tasks and teaching materials, as well as the justification of the strategies tailored to the difficulties experienced by the group. The analysis and interpretation of the results obtained in the evaluation exercise at the end of supervised teaching practice, will allow us to reflect on the teaching and learning process and on other methodologies and work strategies to improve teaching practice and enhance the effective acquisition of content knowledge, not only in Latin but also in Portuguese.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis "The German way of putting up with the communist past in view of the Office for study of STASI dossiers" deals with balancing the communist past in Germany, it analyses the Office for study of STASI dossiers' (Gauck office) conception. The question of balancing the past is in German milieu oriented primarily towards the National Socialist era. In case of the Communist past Gauck office arose in 1992. This institution looks after the chancery of communist State security, simultaneously gives information from the dossiers to victims of the former regime. Balancing with totalitarian past is not a single- but a continual process and the Gauck office should reach the point by analyzing of materials it holds. Exceptionality of this institution lies in the fact that it serves as a model for other middle European countries. This project will focus on an analysis of historical preconditions for genesis of this institute. Also, it won't avoid the political debates influencing the final shape of Gauck office, including the future of its incorporating into the National Chancery.
