Abstract:
The purpose of the research is to study the possibility of using the temperature DDU (dirofilaria development units) model for predicting the spread of dirofilariosis in dogs in various regions of the Republic of Armenia.Materials and methods. To obtain temperature models of dirofilariosis in various regions of Armenia, the method of mathematical modeling was applied. The method for determining the number of generations of Dirofilaria spp. infection is based on the effect of the average daily air temperature on the rate of development of Dirofilaria larvae in mosquitoes with a threshold of 14 °C. For a negative value of DDU, the value is set to zero. At temperatures above the threshold, DDU accumulate. For the development of larvae to the infective stage, an amount of 130 DDU is required. The number of possible generations of one generation of larvae L3 was calculated by dividing the annual sum of temperatures above 14 °C by 130 DDU, taking into account that 130 DDU should accumulate within a period not exceeding 30 days. The calculation uses daily data on the average daily air temperature in the period from 2017 to 2019 for Shirak, Aragatston, Armavir and Ararat regions of Armenia.Results and discussion. Temperature modeling of DDU is not of high significance, since it takes into account only the average daily air temperature and does not take into account other factors affecting the incidence rates. The largest number of generations of larvae in mosquitoes could be realized in the Armavir and Ararat regions – on average, 16 generations per year. At the same time, the infection of dogs with dirofilariae in the Armavir region was 42.8%, and in the Ararat region – 29.6%. In Aragatston region, on average, 14–15 generations are developing per year. Dirofilariosis was not detected in the studied dogs. In the Shirak region, on average, 7–8 generations are developing per year. Dirofilariae infection was detected in 3.6% of the dogs studied. Based on the temperature DDU-model of dirofilariosis (on the dates of the end of the first and last incubation of dirofilariosis larvae in mosquitoes for several years), as well as the results of phenological observations, we have developed schemes for effective prevention of dirofilariosis. In order to organize and conduct veterinary preventive measures to prevent infestation of dogs by dirofilariae, it is necessary to organize two lines of defense. The first line of defense: the use of anthelmintics from the group of macrocyclic lactones in Aragatston, Armavir and Ararat regions, which is carried out monthly, and in the Shirak region - from April to January. The second line of defense is repellant treatment of dogs in the Aragatston, Armavir and Ararat regions from March to November, and in the Shirak region from April to October. The practical application of temperature DDU-models of dirofilariosis allows specialists of veterinary and sanitary services to establish the timing of the epizootic season of dirofilariosis, as well as organize and conduct veterinary preventive and therapeutic measures among the population of dogs in endemically disadvantaged areas of the republic.

Abstract:
The research was carried out in 2009-2019 on the basis of the Armavir Experimental Station-a branch of the All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Oilseeds named after V. S. Pustovoit. The soil of the experimental site is ordinary chernozem. The predecessor is winter wheat. In the experiment, the varieties of VNIIMK selection were studied-Lira (precocious), Vilana (medium - ripe) and the Armavir experimental station-Duar (medium-ripe). As a result of dispersion and correlation analyses, it was found that in the conditions of the eastern soil and climatic zone of the Krasnodar Territory, the highest yield of 1.91 t / ha was obtained when growing the Vilana variety (control), the growing season was from 109 to 130 days. The yield of soybean grain significantly depends on the GTC - r = 0.7058. The main abiotic factor affecting the yield of soybean grain is moisture availability, the correlation between the yield and the amount of precipitation during the growing season-r = 0.8298. The effect of the duration of the growing season on the yield of soybean grain to a lesser extent was noted-r = 0.3983.

The article presents the first record of the genus Argiope, orb-weaver spiders from the Araneidae family in Armenia. The two female specimens of Argiope bruennichi (Scopoli, 1772) were found in the Lori Region (northern part), and two specimens of the female spider of Argiope lobata (Pallas, 1772) were recorded in the Tavush Region (north-eastern part) and Armavir Region (south-western part) of Armenia in 2020–2022.

Abstract:
Dirofilariasis is caused by two types of para-sitic worms – Dirofilaria immitis and D. re-pens. Both species of dirofilariaare obligate absolute parasites and are in antagonistic relations with their own hosts. The invasion caused by the adult stages of D. immitis, especially at high intensity, results in the death of 70-80% of dogs. Dirofilariasis is practically not studied in the territory of Ar-menia. The article is devoted to determining the spread of dirofilariasis and the preva-lence rates in the Republic of Armenia in the areas: Shirak, Aragatston, Armavir, Ararat and Syunik. It was found that in 100% of cases the pathogen was D. immitis. Using an immunochromatographic instrument-free test system, the average prevalence rate in the regions was revealed, which amounted to 8.5%. In 87.5% of cases, dirofilariasis was observed in the farms of Armavir and Ararat regions, which are the most disadvantaged for this disease and are recorded in dogs aged 3 to 8 years. Thus, in the territory of Armenia, a local focus of carnivorous diro-filariasis is actively functioning, which ex-tends along the left bank and on the plains along the middle reaches of the Arax riv-er from falling into it Akhuryan river and stretches from the north-west to the south-east up to Azerbaijan Nakhichevan.

Abstract:
This article analyzes the symbolic aspects of the protracted conflict in Armavir between the city authorities and the leadership of Armavir branch of the Union of Armenians of Russia (from 2012 to 2019) in connection with the installation of a memorial plaque near the Armenian church in honor of the political figure Garegin Nzhdeh. The analysis of the conflict from the perspective of the concept of "symbolic politics" allowed us to identify some specifics of the policy of remembrance carried out by the Armenian diaspora in Russia. The conflict was caused by the different perception of Garegin Nzhdeh's image in the Russian and Armenian cultural memory. For the collective memory of the Russian Armenians Nzhdeh is primarily a national hero, who fought for the independence of Armenia. In the Russian collective memory Nzhdeh is only a politician, who collaborated with the Nazi Germany during the Second World War. As the study showed, during the conflict Armenian and Russian activists used different kinds of memory policy strategies ("symbolic erasure", "symbolic camouflage" and "reformatting" of the previously created memorial space). The study also revealed some structural peculiarities of the collective, cultural and functional memory of Russian Armenians. In particular, the study showed that the collective memory of Russian Armenians has the character of an amalgam, which combines uncomplementary elements of Russian and Armenian collective, cultural memory.

Studies have shown that intramuscular administration of a biological preparation at the maximum tolerated doses to laboratory and productive animals did not lead to the detection of signs of acute and chronic toxicity and the manifestation of reactogenic reactions.

Abstract:
The thesis was performed at the lighting company Zpecta AB. Zpecta needed to develop alternative attachment of their LED-luminaire Capella. Today Capella attaches in metal ceilings with four magnets. Zpecta got indications from their customers that there was a need for other attachments. The purpose is to determine the customer’s requirements and the interfaces that are considered for Capella. During the thesis, Capella was only on the market for testing and evaluation. The thesis was initiated to create a specification. The specification would cover all the demands and wishes Zpecta and their customers have. The specification should also contain the regulatory requirements. To find out the requirements for a luminaire, an information research was conducted by visiting customers, researching the Internet, verbal information and by studying literature. Design concepts were developed to attach the Capella to ceilings made of wood, concrete and plaster, with wire suspension, at system ceiling, acoustic ceiling and at 3-circuit track. Capella’s magnetic attachment was tested in order to the specification. The result showed that the magnetic attachment did not meet the requirements. Therefore a solution, that meet the requirements for the magnetic attachment, would be developed and also an alternative design solution for mounting at 3-circuit track. The design concepts were evaluated by using the Pugh selection matrix and a questionnaire. Three design solutions were developed for mounting at 3-circuit track and wire suspension. The design solutions were presented as an assembly in SolidWorks, with a manufacturing method, a FMEA and a cost estimate. For the three design solutions that were developed, there have to be prototypes for testing to get knowledge about how well the design solutions meet the specification.
Examensarbetet utfördes på belysningsföretaget Zpecta AB. Zpecta ville ha hjälp med att ta fram alternativa infästningar av LED-armaturen Capella. I dagsläget fästs Capella i undertak av metall med fyra magneter. Zpecta har fått signaler om att det finns behov av andra infästningar än magnetinfästningen. Syftet är att ta reda på kundens krav på infästningar samt att ta reda på vilka gränssnitt som är aktuella för Capella. Under tiden som examensarbetet utfördes fanns Capella endast på marknaden för utvärdering och för test av LED-armaturen ute hos kund. Examensarbetet inleddes med att ta fram en kravspecifikation. I kravspecifikationen dokumenteras alla regulatoriska krav samt de krav och önskemål som Zpecta och Zpectas kunder har på Capella. För att ta reda på de krav som ställs på en belysningsarmatur gjordes en grundlig informationssökning med hjälp av studiebesök, Internet, muntlig information samt litteraturstudier. Konstruktionskoncept togs fram för att montera Capella i trä-, betong och gipstak, med wireupphäng, i systemundertak och i akustiktak samt i 3-fasskena. Capellas magnetinfästning testades utefter de krav som fanns i kravspecifikationen. Testerna visade att magnetinfästningen inte klarade de krav som ställs på en armaturs infästning i tak. Efter genomförda tester beslutades det att en godkänd lösning för magnetinfästningen skulle tas fram samt en alternativ konstruktionslösning för infästning i 3-fasskena. Med hjälp av Pughs urvalsmatris och en enkät utvärderades konstruktionskoncepten. Tre konstruktionslöningar arbetades fram för infästning i 3-fasskena och med wireupphäng. Konstruktionslöningarna presenteras som en assembly med ingående parter i SolidWorks, lämplig tillverkningsmetod, en FMEA, samt en kostnadsuppskattning. De konstruktionslöningar som togs fram bör det göras prototyper på för test och utvärdering för att kunskap ska fås om hur väl konstruktionslöningarna fungerar.

Abstract:
The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the hydraulics of heating systems. The aim of the project is a design of the heating and hot water preparation system for an apartment building. The building has 6 above-ground floors and 2 underground floors. Two different options of heating systems were designed, comparison and results are presented in the thesis. In the first case the heat source during the winter season and for water heating, where chosen two gas condensing boilers, situated in separated room on the second underground floor. In the second case, each apartment has its own gas condensing boiler. The experimental part of the project deals with measurements of pressure losses in water armatures used in heating systems. The aim of this part is the determination of coefficients of added resistance for uncontrolled elements, which are normally presented as tabular value. In thesis are presented results for a ball valve, backflow preventer, filter, for slide valve and thermostatic valve. Measurements for thermostatic valve where done with different settings and results are compared with parameters listed in the datasheet.

Master thesis presents overview of existing types of check valves, their features, uses and issue called "cracking". Experimental part of this thesis focuses on the lift and swing check valves. Results of the measurement are evaluated from non-stationary flow point of view by developing and analyzing static and dynamic characteristics. This thesis takes into account losses and dynamic effects as main viewpoints. Two methods for measuring non-stationary velocities are used. Direct method called Gibson and indirect method laser doppler anemometry. Goal of the master thesis is to increase understanding of the check valves and their applicability.

Choosing suitable and safe valve with accessories depends on general specifications for plant. Using valve for on/off, throttling, back-flow prevention, etc., pressure drop is related with Kv value or leakages from piping systems are main factors for properly valve selection. Valve have to resist chemicals and substances that may change the state, temperature and its fluctuation, pressure, corrosion and erosion. This properties determine pressure class, temperature resistance, connection into pipe and sealing material as gland packing, seats, seal between flange etc. This and other specification, listed in this thesis, can help determine suitable type of valve. This thesis deals construction design of valve and accessories as well. The last chapters are focused on calculation of safety valve and selection safe and appropriate control valve with accessories.

Abstract:
We studied the environmental plasticity and stability of sunflower varieties Belochka and Skormas as an important stage in ecological variety trials. The data obtained during the research allow us to draw a conclusion on the response of crop varieties to various agro-climatic cultivation conditions by three points of the study. The studies carried out to compare the adaptability parameters of the sunflower varieties Belochka and Skormas at V.S. Pustovoit All-Russian Research Institute of Oil Crops (Krasnodar city district) – CES, the Armavir experimental station – AES (Armavir city district), Siberian experimental station – SES (Isilkul, the Omsk region) made it possible to establish that the studied sunflower varieties have sufficient plasticity by all test points. At the same time, we established that the variety Skormas at the CES and the variety Belochka at the AES had the highest yield stability.

Abstract:
The identification of breeding material and certification of varieties is of great importance for the protection of the copyright of breeders. Microsatellite DNA loci are effectively used for these purposes. The aim of the research was to identify the soybean varieties of the breeding of V.S. Pustovoit All-Russian Research Institute of Oil Crops using the previously tested 12 microsatellite markers. As a result of research, we obtained the unique sets of alleles for eight varieties; two varieties had identical alleles. We divided all soybean genotypes into two large clusters. We observed the closest genetic relation between the varieties Duar and Kora (the Armavir experimental station of V.S. Pustovoit All-Russian Research Institute of Oil Crops. The resulting sets of alleles can be used to develop molecular genetic passports.

The article considers ways to solve the problem of ensuring the energy safety of separation workshops of biological industries using the example of the Armavir Biofabrika PKP. The existing power limit does not allow increasing output. At the same time, a sufficient level of electricity supply at the existing facilities of the biofabric will allow to double the output of finished products practically. You can solve this problem using additional or redundant power sources, as well as high-efficiency electrical equipment. One solution to the problem may be to use the developed synchronized axial two-way contactless wind-solar generator and separator for polydisperse liquid systems. The designed generator will transform wind and solar energy into AC electricity, while it can be synchronized with an external three-phase AC system. Separator uses inevitable heat loss of asynchronous motor to preheat separated product.

The quality of life in the urban system is closely associated with environmental conditions. With the right use of design tools, it is possible to solve the environmental problems of youth through the impact of landscape design on human opinion. Such landscaping areas as territories of memorable historical places must be complied with the modern requirements of society to preserve historical memory. It is discussed in the article the issues of solving problems to improve the factors of the urban environment that have a positive impact on maintaining intergenerational ties. The relevance of the project "Living memory of the Great Victory: for the glory of life, unity and the future" is grounded on the beautification and landscape design of Armavir. It is described a new ecological landscape approach to the planting of greenery and improvement of memorial complexes, based on the creation of a natural, relatively sustainable ecosystem. It is described the concept of laying park sites, performing cognitive, patriotic, informational, and environmental functions. The proposed style of memorial park territories supports the general historical and local history orientation of the territory in the design and improvement of urban areas with minimal resources for planting red oaks, based on the independent cultivation of seedlings from acorns. Ecological and patriotic project is aimed at creating and maintaining a sustainable landscape structure.

Abstract Two boron-rich Fe/Cr based gas atomised powders (Armacor M and Armacor C) have been thermally sprayed using the HVOF process and the resultant deposits subsequently characterised, using X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), plan view transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and microhardness measurements. The wear and corrosion characteristics of the two alloy coatings have also been investigated by three body abrasive wear (utilising cross-sectional TEM to examine the worn surfaces) and potentiodynamic corrosion testing respectively. Results from microstructural analysis of the as-sprayed deposits revealed the presence of small chromium-iron boride precipitates within a predominantly amorphous matrix in the Fe-based Armacor M coating. The Fe-Cr-based Armacor C coating, however, consisted mainly of regions of nano- and microcrystalline material interspersed with chromium boride precipitation. Iron-chromium oxides have been observed within both of the alloy coatings studied. Both of these alloys exhibit good abrasive wear resistance when compared with other metallic based HVOF sprayed coatings. Both Armacor M and Armacor C also exhibit extensive passivation on exposure to an acidic solution. The wear and corrosion test results are related to the microstructural observations.

Abstract Twin Wire Arc Spraying of cored wires for wear resistant applications is being increasingly used for industrial applications such as FBC boilers. Two promising cored wires namely Alpha 1800 and Armacor M were selected and sprayed by Twin Wire Arc Spray Technique. The sprayed samples were tested at different temperatures ranging from 3000C to 6000C in a High Temperature Erosion Test Rig using quartz as erodent. The samples were tested at 300 and 900 angles. The erosion behaviour of Alpha-1800 coating was compared with that of base metal Carbon Steel and Armacor M coating. The results showed that the erosion resistance of Alpha-1800 coating was superior than those of Carbon Steel base metal and Armacor M coating at all temperatures and at impact angles of 300 and 900. SEM studies of few erosion tested samples were also carried out to understand the morphology of the eroded regions. Abstract only; no full-text paper available.

Abstract The elevated temperature erosion resistance of experimental amorphous thermal spray coatings was determined in a laboratory elevated temperature erosion tester. Test conditions attempted to simulate the erosion conditions found at the combustor waterwall tubes in fossil fuel fired boilers. Erosion tests were conducted on four experimental amorphous thermal spray coatings, using the bed ash retrieved from an operating coal fired boiler. An experimental arcspray process was used to spray coatings. These results were compared with erosion test results of two common structural materials, two commercially available arc-sprayed coatings, and a proprietary HVOF coating. Test results indicated that the Duocor coating had the highest erosion resistance among the four experimental coatings, it showed equal resistance to the HVOF coating (DS-200). Compared to AISI 1018 steel, both Duocor and DS-200 coatings reduced material wastage by 26-fold. Other test results indicated that the XJ-16, 60T and Armacor M coatings had equal erosion resistance reducing material wastage approximately 7-fold, while Armacor CW reduced by 10-fold. Only slightly better than the unprotected 1018 steel, the X-20 coating performed poorly on erosion tests. The high erosion resistance of Duocor and DS-200 coatings was attributed to their high densities and fine splat structures.
