Abstract:
National-cultural and religious disappearance of the Christian countries of the Caucasus (Albania, Iberia, Armenia) from the V century was threatened by Persia. "Kartlis Tskhovreba" (History of Georgia) tells in detail about these acute and dramatic historical events. Historical writings from a later period show one feature of this region. The references to Rani (Aran) as Persia ("Mirian... called from Persia his relative, a descendant of kings, named Peroz") and the inhabitants of this country as Persians ("in Ran, wherever the Persians fought") should not be taken literally. In natural ecosystems of animals, introduction of larvae of parasitic nematodes into the litter layer from excrement facilitates their migration and search of new host vertebrate animals. In such conditions they are constantly affected by biologically active substances of the abundant species of plants which grow in pastures. Currently, the influence of substances present in the above-ground part of plants on the vitality of larvae of helminths in the environment remains unstudied. In this article, we present the results of our research on the nematocidial activity in vitro in the aqueous solu

Abstract:
Blossom blight of Japanese plum (Prunus salicina), nectarine (P. persica var. nectarina), and sweet cherry (P. avium) was observed in commercial orchards in central Chile in 2012. Disease prevalence of 8% and 1% were estimated in 2012 and 2013, respectively. Early symptoms appeared as small pale-brown necrotic lesions on the petals that eventually affected the entire flowers. White and cottony fungal colonies were consistently isolated on potato dextrose agar acidified with 0.5 ml/liter of 92% lactic acid (APDA), incubated for 5 days at 20°C. Black spherical to elongated sclerotia of 2.5 to 4.

Abstract:
The vast majority of the Armenian words of Indo-European origin with ս (s) have the nasalized *ḱ as their prototype. By combining back-lingual prototypes (comp. *ḱ, *k, *g՛, *gh) from one side and all the sibilant prototypes (comp. *s, *(s)s, *z, *z / s, *(p)s, *s(p), *s(t), *s(kh)) from the other side, a 2 : 1 quantitative proportion can be established in favor of the posterior ones. The number of the words restored with nasalized voiceless back-lingual *ḱ is about 1.7 times higher than those restored with fricative voiceless sibilant *s. However, quantitative prevalence is not yet sufficient
