Abstract:
For the architecture theorist Charles Jencks, Frank Gehry’s Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, Peter Eisenman’s Aronoff Center in Cincinnati, and Daniel Libeskind’s Jewish Museum in Berlin are architectural replies to the question of the cultural outgrowths of ‘complexity science’. In the light of new technologies being used in architecture, it seems necessary to explore Jencks’s position from new perspectives and to ask: in the context of architectural production, is it possible to discuss complexity not only as an artistic-aesthetic category, but also as a fundamental technical-constructive idea? Contemporary information technologies confront architectural-theoretical discourses with developments that call for an expanded theoretical instrumentarium. It remains unclear which architectural language might be used best to approach the concept of complexity associated with information technologies.

Abstract:
This research attempted to find out the word formation processes of slang words found in the lyrics of Drake’s songs. This research applied descriptive qualitative research design. The theory of the 18 word formation processes based on the synthesized theories from Yule (2010), Mattielo (2008), O’Grady, Aronoff, & Dobrovolsky (1997) were used as guidelines. This study found out that there were 190 slang words existing in the lyrics of the songs. They were respectively categorized into clipping (27%), coinage (25%), multiple process (22%), compounding (18%), reduplicatives (2%), variation (2%), borrowing (1%), blending (1%), acronym and initialism (1%), reversed forms (0.5%), and onomatopoeia (0.5%).

Abstract:
At the time of the Prophet, the mosque was a center for worship activities and economic activities, learning, socio-politics, etc. From this mosque environment, great figures in Islam were born who were not only strong in religion but also intellectually and mentally. However, the mosque has decreased in function now so that it is only a place of prayer. This phenomenon also occurs in the city of Medan, which is one of the largest cities in Indonesia, with the majority of the population being Muslim. Therefore, Medan often becomes the center of various activities, including Islamic religious activities in the area. Unfortunately, Medan does not yet have adequate facilities that can accommodate various Islamic religious activities, so it needs an activity center known as an Islamic center. The design of the Islamic center in the city of Medan solves design problems with an approach methodology ranging from literature studies, site surveys, and design concept analysis. This Islamic center applies a design concept by taking Islamic values that are not indifferent to the surrounding environment so that elements of the local culture are still considered. It is hoped that this Islamic center will not only be able to become a center of activity, especially Islamic religious activities in Medan, but also an area of learning about Islamic and local values in its design

Abstract:
Data Centers (DC) are specific buildings that require large infrastructures to store all the information needed by companies. All data transmitted over the network is stored on CDs. By the end of 2020, Data Centers will grow 53% worldwide. There are methodologies that measure the efficiency of energy consumption. The most used metric is the Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) index, but it does not fully reflect efficiency. Three DC’s located at the cities of Curitiba, Londrina and Iguaçu Falls (Brazil) with close PUE values, are evaluated in this article using the Energy Usage Effectiveness Design (EUED) index as an alternative to the current method. EUED uses energy as a comparative element in the design phase. Infrastructure consumption is the sum of energy with Heating, Ventilating and Air conditioning (HVAC) equipment, equipment, lighting and others. The EUED values obtained were 1.245 (kWh/yr)/(kWh/yr), 1.313 (kWh/yr)/(kWh/yr) and 1.316 (kWh/yr)/(kWh/yr) to Curitiba, Londrina and Iguaçu Falls, respectively. The difference between the EUED and the PUE Constant External Air Temperature (COA) is 16.87% for Curitiba, 13.33% for Londrina and 13.30% for Iguaçu Falls. The new Perfect Design Data center (PDD) index prioritizes efficiency in increasing order is an easy index to interpret. It is a redefinition of EUED, given by a linear equation, which provides an approximate result and uses a classification table. It is a decision support index for the location of a Data Center in the project phase.

Abstract:
Sambas is an area that has a variety of cultures, so it needs to be preserved in order to stay awake. The design of the Sambas Culture Center is the main alternative as a container for Sambas culture to perform, exhibit and introduce culture so that its sustainability is maintained. It is hoped that the Sambas Culture Center design will attract the interest of the community, especially the younger generation, to care about their own culture. This design method uses the J.C Jones design method. All information is analyzed, then synthesized to produce certain concepts according to the initial idea and then evaluated. This design produces a physical form and a philosophy which is a source of pride for Sambas. In this design, according to the cultural data, Sambas is most likely to be preserved, it can be divided into 3, namely in the form of performances, exhibitions, and education. The Sambas Culture Center is a single building with a triangular roof which is equipped with typical Sambas ornaments and the symbol of the Sambas Sultanate at the top of the roof.

Abstract:
Aircraft Electrical Load Management Center, an important part of the aircraft power supply system, solves the automatic management of aircraft load via a multi-channel transmission bus and a solid-state power controller. Using micro-computer technology, instead of manual operation, for automatic control and management of the load has improved the existing method of distribution and load management, which has enhanced performance of aircraft and its maintenance of power system. This paper studies the overall structure and composition principle of ELMC and details ELMC’s functions of each component modules and the implementation of hardware and software. System test results show that the automatic load management techniques greatly improve the aircraft power system reliability and maintainability.
