Abstract:
The field of Art Therapy (AT) is often confused with that of Arts Therapy (AsT). The latter includes other creative therapies (e.g., dance and movement therapy, drama therapy, music therapy, poetry therapy, etc.) and it is a distinct discipline from AT. The AsT incorporates many creative methods of expression through visual art media. The former as a creative arts therapy profession, originated in the fields of art and psychotherapy and may vary in its definition. The AT includes analytic art therapy (AAT), art psychotherapy (APT), and art as therapy (AaT). Then there are also other allied off

We sought to examine factors associated with post-BCS receipt of and time to treatment (TTT) for adjuvant radiation therapy (ART), cytotoxic chemotherapy (ACT) and endocrine therapy (AET) among women with breast cancer. Methods: IBM MarketScan claims data were used to select women diagnosed with non-metastatic invasive breast cancer from 01/01/2012 to 03/31/2018, who received primary BCS without any neoadjuvant therapy, and who had continuou

Abstract:
This research article draws on a master’s thesis. Inherited perpetrator trauma may result from a family legacy of past familial collaboration with the South African apartheid regime. This historical narrative emerges from a familial relationship with the artist Irmin Henkel, the author’s step-grandfather. Henkel was known as the official portrait painter of the 1960s apartheid regime Cabinet. A heuristic self-study and arts-based approach were used to create a five-step protocol that art therapists can use to treat inherited perpetrator trauma. The approach used postcards as an art therapy too

Abstract:
For centuries, authorities have been patriarchal and vertical, following the law of the strongest in a binary vision of world, life and human being. If limitless and unquestionable, authority inevitably collapses into abuse and destruction. Facing the danger of authoritarianism, the democratic society moves to develop more humanistic organisation by exploring the possibilities of the distributed leadership. Art offers a specifically deep response to inner and outer conflicts. Based on the creative process, arts therapies address either individual and community violence and dictatorship. When t
