My artwork combines the power of narrative with the sculptural form, and I encourage the viewer to interact with my work. I use the magnetic, hypnotic effect that stories can have over us. My narratives are designed to draw the reader into a willing suspension of disbelief. It is often whimsical because childlike things give people certain permissions of joy and abandon. Abstract:

I am using the essay as a vehicle to make an artist book. The essay functions on several levels: As my master essay text. As an artist book and stand alone object. As a way to distill my artistic production during my time at Konstfack into a new work. It is my attempt at creating both textworks and photobased elements that together seek to create a probe into the printed publication as another a form of montagéd cinema.

The purpose of this study is to explore the influence of history and culture on the passage of the comic book to the animated film. Although the comic book has both historical and cultural components, the latter often undergoes a cultural shift in the animation process.
