The article deals with the representation of the soul in mythological consciousness of the Belarusians, which is reflected in the folk culture texts. Research is based on the ethnolinguistic point of view. Тема памяти Великой Отечественной войны и подвига советского народа является неотъемлемой частью историко-культурного наследия стран бывшего СССР. Уникальное художественное явление в декоративно-прикладном искусстве Белорусской ССР представляет монументальный гобелен 1960–1980-х гг.
