On-Off Keying (OOK) is one of the most basic form of communication widely used today. The objective of this paper is to receive, detect and decode an OOK signal in the radio spectrum. For the reception of the radio signal, an SDR receiver is used. This device receives the RF signal and down-converts it to a frequency usable by an inbuilt ADC. The ADC outputs I/Q samples which are then forwarded to a computer via the USB port. By processing the received signal, it is determined whether or not, the received signal is an OOK signal and if it is, then it is further processed and decoded. There are

I will prioritize my questions about how language operates in art, the way it functions within my own studio practice, and locate aesthetic interstices throughout. Distance information of source from sensor locations can be estimated from RSS measurements and many algorithms directly use powers of distances to localize the source, even though distance measurements are not directly available. The first part of the thesis considers the statistical analysis of distance estimation from RSS measurments. We show that the underlying problem is inefficient and there is on

Abstract:
A significant portion of energy production in the United States takes place on farmland, which can have substantial economic implications for the farmers who host such developments. This report analyzes energy payments made to farmers for the production of oil, natural gas, and wind energy on their land. The authors used 10 years of data (2011-20) from the USDA's Agricultural Resource Management Survey (ARMS) in their analysis. Results show that 3.5 percent of farm operations received energy payments and that the average annual payment to the operators was more than $30,000 (in 2020 dollars),
