Abstract:
The paper illustrates the role of CAD/CAM technology in developing virtual textile design on the computer screen. First, it was created the shape of the symbol "Flower of Life" from Sacred Geometry by using the CAD system ASCON Kompas for the design of shapes and the graphic software Adobe Photoshop for colour combinations. Then, we drew few graphic sketches of garments on which we applied the textile design “Flower of life”. In order to obtain fabric-manufacturing orders, the image was processed with a specific design software for fabric: EAT DesignScope Victor. At last, we converted the design into a fabric by using the weaving machine Smit Textile GS900 Jacquard Loom.

Abstract:
A new species of Leucosoleniidae, Leucosolenia qingdaoensissp. nov., is described. This new species was collected in a scallop-breeding pond from the Yellow Sea and preserved in 75% ethanol. This sponge consists of a dense reticulation of ascon tubes, with the surface minutely hispid and the consistency soft and fragile. Spiculation of the new species consists of diactines, which are smooth, straight or sometimes slightly curved, triactines of two types, and tetractines with short and curved apical actines; spiculation also slightly overlaps and is somewhat irregularly assembled. Together these form a thin layer of skeleton, with a small number of cells, which results in a transparent, white sponge. As a typical asconoid feature, all internal cavities of the sponge are lined with choanocytes, and there is no fully developed inhalant system. Comparisons with other Leucosolenia reported from the Pacific Ocean are also made.

Abstract:
Data security, privacy and authenticity are crucial in wireless data transmission. Low power consumption is the main requirement for any chip design targeting the Internet of Things (IoT) applications. In this research paper, a comparative study of eight authenticated encryption and decryption algorithms, selected from the “Competition for Authenticated Encryption: Security, Applicability and Robustness” (CAESAR), namely, ACORN, ASCON, CLOC, JOLTIK, MORUS, PRIMATEs, SCREAM and SILC, is presented. The FPGA and ASIC implementations of these eight algorithms are synthesized, placed and routed. Power, area, latency and throughput are measured for all algorithms. All results are analyzed to determine the most suitable algorithm for IoT applications. These results show that ACORN algorithm exhibits the lowest power consumption of the eight studied at the expense of lower throughput and higher latency. MORUS algorithm gives the highest throughput among the eight selected algorithms at the expense of large area utilization.

Abstract:
IoT technology is evolving at a quick pace and is becoming an important part of everyday life. Consequently, IoT systems hold large amounts of data related to the user of the system that is vulnerable to security breaches. Thus, data collected by IoT systems need to be secured efficiently without affecting the IoT systems’ performance and without compromising security as well. In this paper, a high-performance dynamic security system is introduced. The system makes use of the ZedBoard’s dynamic partial reconfiguration capability to shift between three distinct cipher algorithms: AEGIS, ASCON, and DEOXYS-II. The switching between the three algorithms is performed using two different techniques: the algorithm hopping technique or the power adaptive technique. The choice of which technique to be used is dependent on whether the system needs to be focused on performance or power saving. The ciphers used are the CAESAR competition finalists that achieved the greatest results in each of the three competition categories, where each cipher algorithm has its own set of significant characteristics. The proposed design seeks to reduce the FPGA reconfiguration time by the application of LZ4 (Lempel-Ziv4) compression and decompression techniques on the ciphers’ bitstream files. The reconfiguration time decreased by a minimum of 38% in comparison to the state-of-the-art design, while the resource utilization increased by approximately 2%.

Abstract:
Authenticated ciphers, which combine the cryptographic services of confidentiality, integrity, and authentication into one algorithmic construct, can potentially provide improved security and efficiencies in the processing of sensitive data. However, they are vulnerable to side-channel attacks such as differential power analysis (DPA). Although the Test Vector Leakage Assessment (TVLA) methodology has been used to confirm improved resistance of block ciphers to DPA after application of countermeasures, extension of TVLA to authenticated ciphers is non-trivial, since authenticated ciphers have expanded input and output requirements, complex interfaces, and long test vectors which include protocol necessary to describe authenticated cipher operations. In this research, we upgrade the FOBOS test architecture with capability to perform TVLA on authenticated ciphers. We show that FPGA implementations of the CAESAR Round 3 candidates ACORN, Ascon, CLOC (with AES and TWINE primitives), SILC (with AES, PRESENT, and LED primitives), JAMBU (with AES and SIMON primitives), and Ketje Jr.; as well as AES-GCM, are vulnerable to 1st order DPA. We then use threshold implementations to protect the above cipher implementations against 1st order DPA, and verify the effectiveness of countermeasures using the TVLA methodology. Finally, we compare the unprotected and protected cipher implementations in terms of area, performance (maximum frequency and throughput), throughput-to-area (TP/A) ratio, power, and energy per bit (E/bit). Our results show that ACORN consumes the lowest number of resources, has the highest TP/A ratio, and is the most energy-efficient of all DPA-resistant implementations. However, Ketje Jr. has the highest throughput.

Abstract:
The paper has been devoted to construction of geometric model for real surface’s compartment at micro- and nanoscales with known fractal dimension. Receiving data on the real surface’s fractal dimension has been considered in [8; 9; 11; 13; 20]. Fractal dimension as a relief development measure has been accepted for the necessary and sufficient condition of the model construction. As is known, for a flying vehicle’s appearance the comprehensive characteristics research is performed with ground work in aerodynamic tubes, and numerical simulation. Similarly, a fragment of product’s heat protection is tested in high-enthalpy facilities for research of physico-chemical processes in the boundary layer, as well as for confirmation of calculations of interactions between rarefied gas’s particles and the surface. In this work has been performed the analysis of geometrical interpretations of algorithms for the fractal surfaces formation based on the Brownian motion method, proposed to use in calculations by Monte Carlo and Navier-Stokes methods. A point choice leading to construction of secant or tangent planes to space forms has been assigned as an element of randomness per iteration. All proposed algorithms lead to construction of surfaces with fractal dimension D ≈ 2.5, but by different iterations number. A tendency to reduce the iterations number required to achieve a specific fractal dimension by increasing the capacity of many lines for plane compartment digitalization has been revealed. The best result has been obtained by construction of projections for section of surface called a torus knot [19, 22]. Visualization was carried out in ASCON Kompas 3Dv.14 program on algorithms results in MathCAD environment.

Abstract:
We should equip the graduates of technical universities with the most modern knowledge. It is one of the most impor - tant teaching aims. Civil engineer must be able to draw, read drawings, simulate parts, mechanisms, structures, buildings and sites on their computers. This is a great amount of knowledge and a huge range of skills, and their formation requires a gradual transition from drawings using pencil and ruler, through a standard drawing program (such Autodesk AutoCAD and Compass ASCON) to the more complex software systems (AutoCAD, Revit and AutoCAD Civil 3D). The article presents our experience in developing educational programs for undergraduate and specialties. The program is designed for "General construction", "Railway Construction", "Management of the technical condition of the railway track", "Bridges", "Tunnels and Subways", "Industrial and Civil Engineering", "Water supply and sanitation". The system of training is based on a modular principle. The first module "Descriptive Geometry" uses the classic teaching methods. Although it is supplemented by modern visualization tools (electronic posters, presentations, 3D models). The second module "Engineering Graphics" is built with a focus on computer way of doing drawings. At this stage, we form the basic skills of drawing and 3D-modeling. The main goal the next phase of training (course "Computer Graphics") is to form good skills in computer-aided design. In the last stage (course "Software"), we use the most modern software systems using BIM. An integrated approach can effectively reach both local and general educational purposes and creates a base for the formation of core professional competencies engineer.

Abstract:
The paper presents the overview evolution of hypertension identification and treatment during last 15 years after publication of ASCOT trial (AngloScandinavian Cardiac Outcomes Trial) results. It discusses possible mechanism of more significant cardiovascular risk reduction in amlodipine/ perindopril group comparing with atenolol/diuretic group: central blood pressure, arterial stiffness, asleep blood pressure and BP variability. Innovative approaches in time of ASCOТ trial such as combined antihypertensive therapy from start and RAAS inhibitor as first line now became routine practice in actual guidelines. Importance of early prescribing of fixed antihypertensive combination and choice of safe drugs help to improve adherence and decrease resistant hypertension prevalence. Prevention of new onset of diabetes in metabolic patients needs application of metabolically neutral drugs and including of renin-angiotensin-aldosterone inhibitors in combination therapy. Results of ASCOT-Legacy trial demonstrated long-term protective effect of amlodipine/perindopril combination resulting in decreasing mortality, rate of stroke and coronary events during 20-years follow-up.

Abstract:
Special clustering algorithms are attractive for the task of grouping an arbitrary shaped database into several proper classes. Until now, a wide variety of clustering algorithms for this task have been proposed, although the majority of these algorithms are density-based. In this paper, the authors extend the dissimilarity measure to compatible measure and propose a new algorithm (ASCCN) based on the results. ASCCN is an unambiguous partition method that groups objects to compatible nucleoids, and merges these nucleoids into different clusters. The application of cluster grids significantly reduces the computational cost of ASCCN, and experiments show that ASCCN can efficiently and effectively group arbitrary shaped data points into meaningful clusters.
