The effects of climate change are being recognized in all regions of the world and they are predicted to increase in the coming decades. This paper aims to study the impacts of economic growth, energy use, and trade liberalization on CO2 emissions in Asia-Pacific countries. By using panel data to build an Environmental Kuznet Curve (EKC), the empirical result shows that the EKC of Asia-Pacific countries has N-shape. Besides, the energy use is one of the factors that worsen the environment. Finally, trade liberalization is an important factor that improves environmental quality in the region.

This study conducted baseline and follow-up surveys on a cohort of 900 children of Tuvalu to determine the prevalence and scope of skin infections and intestinal parasites; as well as cross-sectional survey of multiple sites in Timor-Leste. AbstractThe concentrations of polychlorinated naphthalenes (PCN) were determined in 40 pooled human milk samples from 39 countries covering all five of the United Nations regional groups. The samples were collected in the 2016–2019 exposure studies on persistent organic pollutants coordinated by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP).The median concentration of the sum of 26 PCN was 55 pg/g lipid (range 27 pg/g to 170 pg/g). Of the eight countries in the Asia-Pacific region, only five South Asian countries are selected: Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. The results of the analysis of inclusiveness indicators and calculations of the composite index of inclusiveness of South Asian countries are presented.
