High cycle fatigue (HCF) failure has been studied extensively over the last two decades. Its impact on jet engines is severe enough that may result in engine losses and even life losses. The main requirement for fatigue life predictions is the stress caused by mechanical vibrations. One of the factors which have major impact on the vibratory stresses of bladed disk
assemblies is a phenomenon called &ldquo<br>mistuning&rdquo<br>which is defined as the vibration localization caused by the loss of cyclic periodicity which is a consequence of inter&<br>#8208<br>blade variations in structural properties. In this thesis, component mode synthesis method (CMSM) is combined with nonlinear
forced response analysis in modal domain. Newton&<br>#8208<br>Raphson and arc length continuation procedures are implemented for the solution. The component mode synthesis method introduces the capability of imposing mistuning on the modal properties of each blade in the assembly. Forced response analysis in modal domain reduces the problem size via mode
truncation. The main advantage of the proposed method is that it is capable of calculating nonlinear forced response for all the degrees&<br>#8208<br>of&<br>#8208<br>freedom at each blade with less computational effort. This makes it possible to make a
stress analysis at resonance conditions. The case studies presented in this thesis emphasize the importance of number of modes retained in the reduced order model for both CMSM and nonlinear forced response analysis. Furthermore, the results of the case studies have shown that both nonlinearity and mistuning can cause shifts in resonance frequencies and
changes in resonance amplitudes. Despite the changes in resonance conditions, the shape of the blade motion may not be affected.

This doctoral thesis concerns flanking transmission in light weight, wooden multi-storey buildings within the low frequency, primarily 20-120 Hz. The overall aim is to investigate how the finite element method can contribute in the design phase to evaluate different junctions regarding flanking transmission. Two field measurements of accelerations in light weight wooden buildings have been evaluated. In these, two sources; a stepping machine, and an electrodynamic shaker, were used. The shaker was shown to give more detailed information. However, since a light weight structure in field exhibit energy losses to surrounding building parts, reliable damping estimates were difficult to obtain. In addition, two laboratory measurements were made. These were evaluated using experimental modal analysis, giving the eigenmodes and the damping of the structures. The damping for these particular structures varies significantly with frequency, especially when an elastomer is used in the floor-wall junction. The overall damping is also higher when elastomers are used in the floor-wall junction in comparison to a screwed junction. By analysing the eigenmodes, using the modal assurance criterion, of the same structure with two types of junctions it was concluded that the modes become significantly different. Thereby the overall behavior differs. Several finite element models representing both the field and laboratory test setups have been made. The junctions between the building blocks in the models have been modeled using tie or springs and dashpots. Visual observation and the modal assurance criterion show that there is more rotational stiffness in the test structures than in the models. The findings in this doctoral thesis add understanding to how modern joints in wooden constructions can be represented by FE modelling. They will contribute in developing FE models that can be used to see the acoustic effects prior to building an entire house. However, further research is still needed.<br>Denna doktorsavhandling behandlar flanktransmission i flervåningshus med trästomme, inom det lågfrekventa området, främst 20-120 Hz. Det övergripande målet är att undersöka hur finita elementmetoden kan bidra i konstruktionsfasen för att utvärdera olika knutpunkters inverkan på flanktransmissionen. Två fältmätningar av accelerationer i trähus har utvärderats. I dessa har två olika lastkällor använts, i den första en stegljudsapparat och i den andra en elektrodynamisk vibrator (shaker). Det visades att shakern kan ge mer detaljerad information, men eftersom vibrationerna även sprider sig till omgivande byggnadsdelar vid fältmätningarna var det svårt att estimera tillförlitliga dämpningsdata även då shaker användes. Fältmätningarna följdes av två mätningar i laborationsmiljö. Dessa två experiment utvärderades med experimentell modalanalys, vilket ger egenmoder och dämpning hos strukturerna. Dämpningen för dessa trähuskonstruktioner varierar kraftigt med frekvens. Extra stora variationer registreras då en elastomer användes i knutpunkten mellan golv och vägg. Den totala dämpningen är generellt högre när elastomerer används i knutpunkten mellan golv och vägg i jämförelse med då knutpunkten är skruvad. Genom att analysera egenmoder och deras korrelationer (MAC), för samma trästruktur men med olika typer av knutpunkter, drogs slutsatsen att knutpunkten drastiskt förändrar strukturens dynamiska beteende. Flera finita elementmodeller av både fält- och laboratorieuppställningar har gjorts. I dessa har knutpunkterna mellan byggnadsdelar modellerats helt styvt eller med hjälp av fjädrar och dämpare. Visuella observationer av egenmoder och korrelationen dem emellan visar att det finns mer rotationsstyvhet i försöken än i finita elementmodellerna. Resultaten i denna doktorsavhandling har gett förståelse för hur knutpunkter i träkonstruktioner beter sig och kan simuleras med finit elementmodellering. Vidare kan resultaten bidra till utvecklingen av FE-modeller som kan användas för att kunna se de akustiska effekterna redan under konstruktionsstadiet. Dock behövs ytterligare forskning inom området.

Les assemblages de combustible nucléaire dans le cœur d’un réacteur à eau pressurisée(REP) sont immergés dans un écoulement axial. Cet écoulement exerce une charge hydrodynamique sur les assemblages et est responsable de leur couplage et de leurs vibrations. De plus, lors d’un tremblement de terre ou d’un événement LOCA (Loss Of CoolantAccident), les assemblages de combustible sont soumis à de fortes oscillations. La charge hydrodynamique peut déformer les assemblages, générant une déformation arquée, tandis que des oscillations plus fortes, comme lors d’un événement sismique,peuvent être à l’origine d’impacts sur les assemblages. Afin de garantir l’intégrité et la sûreté du cœur du réacteur, les industries nucléaires souhaitent améliorer la connaissance phénoménologique des interactions fluide-structure à l’intérieur du cœur d’un réacteur à eau pressurisée. Les ingénieurs ont donc besoin de modèles numériques pour le comportement mécanique et de campagnes expérimentales pour les valider et définir leurs limites.L’étude présentée dans ce document est principalement divisée en trois campagnes expérimentales visant à étudier : les effets d’oscillation de l’assemblage dans un fluide au repos, les phénomènes de traînée sur les assemblages de combustible en régime permanent sous un écoulement et le comportement des oscillations des assemblages lorsqu’ils sont immergés dans un écoulement. Deux installations expérimentales sont utilisées :SBF (Shaking Bundle Facility) et Eudore. SBF accueille un assemblage fictif de pleine hauteur soumis à un écoulement axial sur une table vibrante. Grâce à des techniques optiques, le champ de vitesse du fluide et le mouvement de l’assemblage peuvent être mesurés. L’installation Eudore utilise trois assemblages réduits en ligne, soumis à un écoulement axial, avec la possibilité d’appliquer une excitation sismique à l’ensemble de la section d’essai. L’instrumentation développée sur Eudore permet de mesurer les déplacements des assemblages, le champ de vitesse du fluide et les forces d’impact.Les expériences réalisées sur Eudore sont simulées à l’aide d’un outil de calcul numérique développé au CEA, nommé FSCORE, basé sur une approche en milieu poreux. Cette approche permet d’accéder à un modèle de fluide équivalent et à un modèle de structure équivalent définis sur l’ensemble du domaine à partir de l’intégration spatiale d’équations locales. Les équations de mouvement du fluide équivalent et de la structure équivalente sont établies séparément, pour fournir un modèle couplé fluide-structure prenant en compte les contacts entre les assemblages.A l’aide d’un modèle analytique, les résultats expérimentaux obtenus sur Eudore sont utilisés pour retrouver le coefficient de traînée présent dans FSCORE. The hydrodynamic load can deform the assemblies, generating assembly bow, while strongeroscillations, such in a seismic event, can be responsible for assemblies impacts. In order to ensure the reactor core integrity and safety, nuclear industries want to improve thephenomenological knowledge of fluid-structure interactions inside a PWR core. Thus, engineersneed numerical models for mechanical behavior of fuel assemblies and experimentalcampaigns to validate them and define their limits.The study presented in this document is mainly divided in three experimental campaignsand aim to investigate: the assembly oscillation effects in fluid at rest, the dragphenomena on steady state fuel assemblies under a flow and the assemblies oscillationsbehavior when immersed in a flow. Two experimental facilities are used: SBF (ShakingBundle Facility) and Eudore. SBF hosts one full-height surrogate assembly under axialflow on a vibrating table. By using optical technique, the velocity field of the fluid andassembly motion can be measured. Eudore facility uses three reduced assemblies in line,under axial flow with the possibility of applying seismic excitation to the entire test section.The instrumentation developed on Eudore makes it possible to measure the displacementsof the assemblies, velocity field of the fluid and the impact forces.The experiments performed on Eudore are simulated with a numerical calculation tooldeveloped at CEA, named FSCORE, based on a porous medium approach. This approachprovides access to an equivalent fluid model and an equivalent structure model defined overthe entire domain from the spatial integration of local equations. The equations of motionof the equivalent fluid and of the equivalent structure are established separately, to providea coupled model taking into account the contacts between assemblies.With the help of an analytical model, the experimental results obtained on Eudoreare used to retrieve the drag coefficient present in FSCORE. Cette thèse s'inscrit dans le cadre général de la tenue au séisme des coeurs de réacteurs nucléaires à eau pressurisée (REP). Plus précisément, l'objectif de cette thèse est l'étude expérimentale du couplage entre assemblages combustibles induit par un écoulement d'eau axial. Les phases de conception, réalisation et mise en service d'une nouvelle installation appelée ICARE EXPERIMENTAL sont présentées. ICARE EXPERIMENTAL a été conçue pour observer simultanément les vibrations de quatre maquettes d'assemblages combustibles (2x2) confinées sous écoulement ascendant. Une nouvelle méthode d'analyse de données combinant analyse temps-fréquence et décomposition sur modes propres orthogonaux (POD) est décrite. Cette méthode, appelée Sliding Window POD (SWPOD), permet l'analyse de signaux à plusieurs composantes dont la répartition spatiale de l'énergie et le contenu fréquentiel varient avec le temps. Dans le cas de systèmes mécaniques (linéaires et non-linéaires), le lien entre les modes propres orthogonaux obtenus par la SWPOD et les modes normaux (linéaires et non-linéaires) est étudié. Les mesures obtenues avec l'installation ICARE EXPERIMENTAL sont analysées avec la SWPOD. Les premiers résultats mettent en évidence des mouvements caractéristiques des assemblages non excités, au passage de leurs résonances. Ce couplage entre assemblages combustibles, induit par le fluide, est reproduit par les simulations réalisées à l'aide du code de calcul COEUR3D. Ce code est basé sur une approche milieu poreux pour simuler un réseau d'assemblages combustibles sous écoulement<br>The present study is in the scope of pressurized water reactors (PWR) core response to earthquakes. The goal of this thesis is to measure the coupling between fuel assemblies caused an axial water flow. The design, production and installation a new test facility named ICARE EXPERIMENTAL are presented. ICARE EXPERIMENTAL was built in order to measure simultaneously the vibrations of four fuel assemblies (2x2) under an axial flow. A new data analysis method combining time-frequency analysis and orthogonal mode decomposition (POD) is described. This method, named Sliding Window POD (SWPOD), allows analysing multicomponent data, of which spatial repartition of energy and frequency content are time dependent. In the case of mechanical systems (linear and nonlinear), the link between the proper orthogonal modes obtained through SWPOD and the normal modes (linear and nonlinear) is studied. The measures acquired with the ICARE EXPERIMENTAL installation are analysed using the SWPOD. The first results show characteristic behavior of the free fuel assemblies at their resonances. The coupling between fuel assemblies, induced by the fluid, is reproduced by simulations performed using the COEUR3D code. <p>Two state of the art finite element reduction techniquespreviously validated against the direct finite element method,one based on classical modal analysis and another based oncomponent mode synthesis, are applied for efficient mistunedfree vibration and forced response analysis of several bladeddisk geometries. The methods are first applied to two testcases in order to demonstrate the differences in computationalefficiency as well as to validate the methods againstexperimental data. As previous studies have indicated, nonoticeable differences in accuracy are detected for the currentapplications, while the method based on classical modalanalysis is significantly more efficient. Experimental data(mistuned frequencies and mode shapes) available for one of thetwo test cases are compared with numerical predictions, and agood match is obtained, which adds to the previous validationof the methods (against the direct finite element method).</p><p>The influence of blade-to-blade coupling and rotation speedon the sensitivity of bladed disks to mistuning is thenstudied. A transonic fan is considered with part span shroudsand without shrouds, respectively, constituting a high and alow blade-to-blade coupling case. For both cases, computationsare performed at rest as well as at various rotation speeds.Mistuning sensitivity is modelled as the dependence ofamplitude magnification on the standard deviation of bladestiffnesses. The finite element reduction technique based onclassical modal analysis is employed for the structuralanalysis. This reduced order model is solved for sets of randomblade stiffnesses with various standard deviations, i.e. MonteCarlo simulations. In order to reduce the sample size, thestatistical data is fitted to a Weibull (type III) parametermodel. Three different parameter estimation techniques areapplied and compared. The key role of blade-to-blade coupling,as well as the ratio of mistuning to coupling, is demonstratedfor the two cases. It is observed that mistuning sensitivityvaries significantly with rotation speed for both fans due toan associated variation in blade-to-blade coupling strength.Focusing on the effect of one specific engine order on themistuned response of the first bending modes, it is observedthat the mistuning sensitivity behaviour of the fan withoutshrouds is unaffected by rotation at its resonant condition,due to insignificant changes in coupling strength at thisspeed. The fan with shrouds, on the other hand, shows asignificantly different behaviour at rest and resonant speed,due to increased coupling under rotation. Comparing the twocases at resonant rotor speeds, the fan without shrouds is lessor equally sensitive to mistuning than the fan with shrouds inthe entire range of mistuning strengths considered.</p><p>This thesisscientific contribution centres on themistuning sensitivity study, where the effects of shrouds androtation speed are quantified for realistic bladed diskgeometries. However, also the validation of two finite elementreduction techniques against experimental measurementsconstitutes an important contribution.</p>

Les disques aubagés, que l'on trouve dans les turbomachines, sont des structures complexes dont le comportement vibratoire est généralement déterminé par l'exploitation de conditions de symétrie dans leur configuration nominale. Cette symétrie disparaît lorsque l'on assemble plusieurs de ces disques pour former un rotor ou que l'on introduit une variabilité spatiale des paramètres mécaniques (on parle de désaccordage intentionnel ou non). Le raffinement des maillages, nécessaire à une évaluation correcte de la répartition des contraintes, conduirait à des modèles de rotor complet de taille prohibitive (plusieurs dizaines de millions de degrés de liberté). L'objectif de cette thèse est donc l'introduction de méthodologies de réduction qui par combinaison de calculs acceptables permettent d'étudier de façon fine la dynamique d'ensemble sur des modèles 3D fins multi-étages et potentiellement désaccordés. L'étude des transformations de Fourier séparées des réponses de chaque étage permet, dans un premier temps, de bien comprendre les effets de couplage inter-harmonique liés au couplage inter-disque et au désaccordage. A partir de ce constat, une première méthode utilise les résultats de calculs en symétrie cyclique et à secteur encastré pour construire un modèle de secteur exact pour certains modes dits cibles et de très bonne qualité pour les autres modes. Cette méthode est ensuite étendue au cas multi-étage en construisant des bases de réduction de secteur par combinaison de solutions mono-harmoniques. Les illustrations montrent que la méthodologie proposée permet le traitement de modèles de très grande taille, tout en restant compatible avec une grande richesse de post-traitements (calculs de modes, calculs de réponses forcées, analyses de leur contenu harmonique spatial, répartition d'énergie et effets de localisation...). La méthodologie est enfin étendue à la gestion de modèles paramétrés en vitesse de rotation. L'enrichissement des ensembles de modes cibles par des calculs à trois vitesses permet ainsi une reconstruction rapide de l'évolution des fréquences pour l'ensemble d'un intervalle.

Ces travaux ont été développés dans le contexte de l'analyse vibratoire des assemblages combustibles. Ce type de structure est très complexe et a, du fait de sa géométrie, une très forte densité modale. Ainsi, afin de calculer la réponse d'une telle structure, une modélisation simplifiée est préférable. L'objectif est d'identifier des forces stochastiques induites par l'écoulement en utilisant un modèle numérique incertain et des réponses expérimentales. Pour ce problème, 4 sources d'incertitudes sont à prendre en considération : (1) Les incertitudes de modèle induites par les simplifications du modèle. (2) Les incertitudes sur les forces induites par les fluctuations statistiques de la pression turbulent. (3) Les incertitudes concernant la modélisation des forces stochastiques. (4) Les incertitudes induites par les erreurs de mesures. Les forces stochastiques ainsi identifiées sont appliquées sur le modèle simplifié stochastique pour calculer des statistiques sur les quantités d'intérêt

Cette thèse s'inscrit dans des travaux liés aux problématiques des structures assemblées. Après une analyse et une synthèse des différentes échelles de modélisation mises en jeu afin de déterminer l'amortissement dans les liaisons, le manuscrit met en évidence les changements d'échelles, soient les réductions de modèle. La résolution des problèmes de vibration non-linéaire mettent en jeu de nombreuses méthodes numériques. Le cadre de la thèse étant le régime permanent, l'équilibrage harmonique est la méthode clé, couplée à une résolution originale de type point fixe. En fonction du cas d'étude, trois pistes de résolution sont proposées. Si on connait tout du comportement, l'étude de la structure complète se résume à la résolution d'un système différentiel. La question est "comment le résoudre de manière efficace ?" Une comparaison de quatre formulations différentes du même problème dans les domaines temporel et fréquentiel, avec ou sans régularisation des forces hystérétiques, permet d'apporter des réponses à cette question. Si cela n'est pas possible ou déraisonnable, il faut alors essayer de décomposer le problème. Une des solutions afin d'accélérer le processus est de réduire le modèle. Pour cela une nouvelle base de réduction de la partie non-linéaire est introduite. Sa construction prend appui sur un indicateur énergétique et son utilisation sur un abaque. Enfin, si la construction de cet abaque est impossible, il est alors nécessaire d'avoir un calcul complet avec générations séquentielles d'abaques dynamiques de la sous-structure. Cette méthodologie adaptative alterne les résolutions temporelle et fréquentielle respectivement sur les domaines non-linéaire et linéaire sans recours à une méthode incrémentale type AFT<br>This thesis is part of work related to the problems of assembled structures. After an analysis and a synthesis of the different modeling scales involved in order to determine the damping in the joints, the manuscript highlights the scales changes, i.e. model reductions. Many numerical methods are used to solve nonlinear vibration problems. The framework of the thesis being steady-state vibrations, the Harmonic Balance Method is commonplace. Here it is coupled with an original fixed point algorithm. Depending on the case study, three resolution paths are proposed. If we know everything about the behavior, the study of the complete structure can be summarized to the resolution of a differential system. The question is "how to solve it efficiently?" A comparison of four different formulations of the same problem in the time and frequency domains, with or without the regularization of hysterical forces, provides answers to this question. If this is not possible or unreasonable, then one must try to decompose the problem. One way to speed up the process is to reduce the model. For this purpose a new basis for reducing the non-linear part is introduced. Its construction is based on an energy indicator and its use is based on a chart. Finally, if the construction of this chart is impossible, it is then necessary to have a complete computation with sequential generations of dynamic charts of the sub-structure. This adaptive methodology alternates the time and frequency resolutions respectively on non-linear and linear domains in a non incremental way

Squeeze film dampers (SFDs) have long been used to attenuate the vibration of high-speed rotating machines such as gas turbine engines, turbo-chargers, etc. Due to their highly non-linear behaviour, it is often difficult to calculate the steady state vibration response of rotor-SFD systems. Over the years, methods such as the Runge-Kutta-Merson Method (RKMM) have been applied to solve the non-linear equations of motion for the system. However such a method requires huge amounts of computational time especially when a flexible shaft system is involved. In order to accelerate the calculations of the rotor-SFD system vibration response, the Modified Harmonic Balance Method and the Modified Iteration Method are introduced in this work. It is shown that their results agree very well with the RKMM predictions and the experimental measurements. The circumferential oil-feeding groove within the SFD radial clearance is designed to prevent oil starvation in the squeeze film. The pressure generated by the groove is traditionally neglected. To date, many experiments are designed to test SFDs with groove-depth to clearance ratios (cg/c) between 3 to 10 but no attempts have been made to assess the merits and weaknesses of various existing squeeze film force models under a wider range of parameters. In this work, the vibration responses of the SFDs tested with various groove depths (i.e. 3<Cg/c<41) are investigated experimentally and theoretically. Highly non-linear fluid stiffness, damping and inertia are observed and the fluid damping is sensitively related to oil viscosity and unbalance. It is found that none of the theoretical models assessed is able to provide a good correlation with all the studied experimental responses. However, it is shown that the special groove-two land model is able to predict the vibration behaviour of a very shallow grooved SFD (c^c <3) and the conventional two-land theory is applicable to SFD with a very deep groove (Cg/c >40). These observations should be sufficient to provide useful guidelines for engineers to design a shallow or deep grooved SFD-rotor assembly. The SFD can be sealed to increase its damping. Empirical methods are commonly used to predict the vibration response but deeper understanding of the oil flow within the damper is not achieved. In this work, the flow balance principle is used to find the boundary conditions of the end-sealed SFD. With the assumption of a short bearing, averaging the one-land and two-land pressure distributions within the damper clearance, the current research shows that a good estimation of the end-sealed SFD vibration can be achieved. Such a model would be useful for the development of a comprehensive analytical end-sealed SFD model.

A five degrees of freedom analysis of a perfect precision grinding spindle supported by a pair of back to back angular contact ball bearings is performed. The ball to race contacts are simulated by a non-linear contact spring, representing the elastic deformation of the mating rolling members. Major frequencies associated with various degrees of freedom are observed and a number of design curves, suggesting the best zones of operation for the simulated spindle under radial/ axial loading are also presented. The gyroscopic contribution of an ideal precision spindle was found to be insignificant. The model was further expanded to study the response characteristics of the spindle under lubricated contact conditions. A regression formula is used to model the non-linear spring/ damper arrangement,corresponding to the contact elastohydrodynamic oil film thickness. It is noted that the presence of the oil film along the line of contacts do not significantly alter the position of the major modes of the system. However, its contribution in damping the amplitude of oscillation are found to be significant. Various graphs indicating the overall system response, subjected to varying oil film viscosity, number of balls and the spindle mass are also presented. Furthermore, experimental investigations are conducted to validate the employed methodology. Good agreement is observed between the results of the simulation and the experimental spectra for the fundamental modes of response. Although manufacturing anamolies are not simulated,the formulated models incorporate sufficient versatility to forsee various spindle/bearing configurations, different loading arrangement as well as various geometrical features of a system to be modelled.

Les structures aérospatiales sont de plus en plus légères, ce qui les rend sensibles aux vibrations. Pour ces structures le frottement pourrait fournir plus d’amortissement que les polymères d’une part à cause des températures extrêmes de fonctionnement (<-20°C et >100°C) et d’autre part parce qu’il est plus efficace que les absorbeurs actifs ou passifs à masse ajoutée qui ne sont pas adaptés aux problèmes sur larges bandes de fréquence, qui comprennent plusieurs fréquences propres. Pour que l’amortissement induit par frottement soit efficace, il faut asservir la charge normale aux amplitudes vibratoires. Le premier objectif de la thèse est de définir un coefficient indicateur de la capacité du changement des forces normales de serrage de vis à contrôler les niveaux vibratoires. Ce coefficient sera un outil de dimensionnement des structures réelles à contrôler. Le deuxième objectif est de concevoir des lois de contrôle semi-actif de la force de serrage pour des régimes libre et forcé d’un problème modal à deux degrés de liberté. For extreme temperatures (<20oC and > 100oC), Coulomb friction might provide more structural damping than polymers. Nevertheless, there is a consensus to say that these friction-damping values are often lower than 5%. Moreover friction damping is amplitudedependent. Therefore, engineers have to tune the normal load in order to get the maximum damping for the average vibration level. The first objective of the thesis is to define a coefficient indicator of the ability of the tightening force to control the vibration levels. This coefficient is a design tool of real structures witch need controlling. The second objective is to design semi-active control laws of the clamping force for free and forced modal problem of two degrees of freedom. The ultimate goal is to design a device that can be integrated to an assembly structure for controlling the normal load in the joints and then experimentally test the effectiveness of the laws control for an academic or an industrial structure. Ce travail traite de l'étude dynamique d'une transmission automobile à joints tripodes et a permis une analyse fine des phénomènes de martèlement, produit par l'excitation axiale du joint fixe, et le battement entre le moteur et la transmission qui conduisent à des bruits indésirables. L'analyse du martèlement et du battement a nécessité une étude mécanique détaillée de la transmission. Sur le plan cinématique, des galets ont été réduits à des contacts ponctuels et le joint coulissant a en premier lieu été considéré comme homocinétique de façon à présenter les propriétés élémentaires et fondamentales caractéristiques : mouvement de fréquence R1 le long de la rampe, de fréquence R2 le long des tourillons et mouvement de fréquence R3 du centre du triaxe dans son plan. Il a été montré ensuite que dans le cas réel, le mouvement peut se ramener à une perturbation du cas précédent. Pour la transmission complète le déphasage angulaire entre les blocs tripodes conduit aux situations extrêmes , cône et diabolo, de l'arbre intermédiaire ; des préconisations de calage entre tripodes doivent être envisagées au niveau de la production. Sur le plan dynamique, la même méthodologie a été appliquée en partant du joint homocinétique sans frottement pour aboutir au joint réel avec frottements galet sur rampe et galet sur tourillon. Les simulations obtenues montrent que les termes de frottement de roulement de galets sont prépondérants. Le déphasage angulaire entre tripodes joue un rôle important sur la synchronisation des mouvements internes des différents galets sur rampes de joints. Les résultats obtenus par rapport aux objectifs fixés qui étaient d'identifier les différents paramètres participant aux principaux bruits liés aux transmissions sont atteints : i) Le martèlement de fréquence triple est provoqué par des chocs entre les différents constituants du dispositif d'arrêt axial du joint tripode fixe (champignon sur fond de tulipe et étoile sur triaxe). Ce phénomène est diectement lié à l'effort axial qui dépend de l'orientation relative et des frottements de roulement des deux joints tripodes ; ii) Le R6 transmission proche du F2 moteur produit le battement. Il est lié essentiellement a l'évolution sextuple du couple complémentaire dû aux frottements de roulement. De plus l'influence du sens de rotation par rapport au couple a été étudiée, et a révélé un comportement dynamique de la transmission différent suivant le sens de rotation et le signe du couple moteur. Les essais expérimentaux effectués à l'aide d'une transmission instrumentée ont permis de valider les travaux présentés mais ont mis en évidence aussi un phénomène d'arc-bouttement du champignon dans le triaxe sous fort angle de brisure<br>This work deals with dynamics of a tripod joint automotive transmission and has permitted a detailed approach of the harshness phenomenon produced by the axial force of the fixed joint and the vibration beat between the engine and the transmission leading to undesirable noise. This analysis of harshness and beat has needed a detailed mechanical model of the transmission. Considering kinematics, the rollers have been modeled as points and the plunging joint has been assimilated to a constant velocity joint (CVT) in order to enhance its elementary and fundamental properties : R1 movement of the rollers along the tulip ramps, R2 movement of the rollers along the trunnions and R3 movement of the tripod center. In the real case, it can be shown that the real movement departs but little from the ideal case of the CVT. For the whole transmission, the angle between the two tripodes lead to the extreme two situations, cone or diabolo of the intermediate shaft ; considering the production process, optimal angle adjustments between tripodes are worth being considered. The same methods have been applied for dynamics, beginning with an ideal CVT and ending with a real joint including roller-to-ramp and roller-to-trunnion friction effects. . Derived simulations show that terms issued from the roller-to-ramp movement are prominent. The shiff angle between tripodes play an important role on the synchronisation of intelnal movements of the ramp-to-roller movements The goal of the work was to identify the various parameters responsible for the main noises of the transmissions. This goal has been obtained : i) the third frequency harshness is due to the chocks between the parts of the fixed joint ( stop on the tulip and star on the tripode). This phenomenon is directly related to the axial effort that depends on the relative orientation and the friction of the two tripode joints ; and ii) the R6 vibration close to the F2 vibration produced by the engine, is issued from the complementary torque produced by the roller-to-tulip friction. In addition, dynamics of the transmission depend on torque and velocity same or opposite sign. The experimental results using an instrumented transmission have validated the presented results but the stick of the stop on the tripode has also been put into evidence under large joint angle

Déterminer la durée de vie d'une pièce sous excitation vibratoire est l'un des enjeux majeurs dans l'ingénierie mécanique. Afin de donner une estimation fiable de la durée de vie, un calcul correct de champ de contrainte, qui est fortement lié à la forme et l'amplitude modale est obligatoire. Cependant, le calcul de réponse d'une structure assemblée est difficile, surtout avec la présence de frottement sec aux interfaces de liaisons qui entraîne un amortissement non linéaire. La recherche de la thèse commence par une identification phénoménologique de l'amortissement induit par le frottement sec avec 3 modèles analytiques, notamment la plaque sandwich, la rotule frottante et la plaque von Kármán. Après la caractérisation de l'amortissement structural au 1er et 2ème ordre, les influences des paramètres comme la pression de serrage, le rapport d'épaisseurs ainsi que le nombre de soudures sont analysés. La deuxième partie des travaux traite les problèmes d'amortissement avec une géométrie de dimension finie. La plaque de von Kármán est reprise dans l'étude et une méthode hybride de différences finies et d'éléments finis est adopté pour résoudre le couplage entre la flexion et les efforts internes. Une attention particulière est portée à la notion de modes non linéaires dans le cas de la plaque von Kármán. Les conditions nécessitant l'introduction de modes non linéaires sont identifiées. Le champ de force fictif qui est proposé dans l'étude sur la plaque von Kármán est ensuite introduit dans le cas de la plaque sandwich. Puis la propagation de glissement et l'influence de champ fictif sont étudiées. Afin de vérifier les phénomènes trouvés dans les études théoriques, une installation expérimentale est conçue et montée pour l'amortissement structural au premier ordre. Dans la dernière partie qui est basée sur les observations faites dans les études précédentes, une méthode de calcul de l'amortissement dans un environnement industriel est proposée. Cette méthode permet de donner un amortissement pour chaque mode isolé<br>The determination of a component's lifetime under vibrational excitation is one of the most difficult challenges in mechanical engineering. In order to provide a reliable estimation of lifetime, a correct calculation of stress field, which depends on the modal form and its amplitude, is needed. However, the vibrational response calculation on an assembled structure is not easy, especially with the nonlinear structural damping induced by frictional contact surface. The research in the current thesis starts from the phenomenological identification of damping with the help of 3 analytical models, in particular the sandwich plate, rotational joint and von Karman plate. Structural damping of 1st and 2nd order are identified. The influence of parameters like clamping pressure, thickness ratio and number of welding points are also analyzed. The second part of the research focuses on problems with finite dimensions. The von Karman plate serves as the subject of the study and a hydride method which combines FDM and FEM is proposed to solve the coupling between defection and in-plane force field. A special attention is paid to nonlinear mode theory, the conditions under which the nonlinear mode is necessary are identified. The fictive force field proposed in the study of von Kármán plate is then applied to the sandwich plate model. The slipping's propagation as well as the influence of fictive force field are studied. To verify the existence of the found phenomena in the previous studies, an experimental setup is designed and mounted for the 1st order structural damping. In the last part of the research, which is based on the observations previously obtained from academic models, a calculation method of friction-induced damping in structures with complex geometries is proposed for the application in the industrial environment. La conception des structures assemblées nécessite de disposer d'outils de simulation prédictifs permettant de minimiser les écarts entre les comportements réel et simulé de ces structures. Et ce, d'autant plus que les exigences en terme de performance du système sont élevées et qu'une conception optimale est recherchée. Lors du dimensionnement des structures assemblées, la pratique généralement adoptée en bureau d'étude consiste à définir un coefficient de sécurité permettant de tenir compte de la variabilité du comportement réel de ces structures. L'inconvénient est de conduire nécessairement à un surdimensionnement qui peut aller à l'encontre des objectifs de dimensionnement optimal de ces structures. Les liaisons sont le siège de phénomènes non-linéaires tels que le contact ou le frottement et différentes sources d'incertitude induisent une variabilité sur les caractéristiques dynamiques réelles des liaisons. Malgré les capacités des calculateurs actuels, la prise en compte conjointe des phénomènes non linéaires et des incertitudes lors de la simulation de structures assemblées complexes reste difficilement envisageable par une approche directe. L'objectif de ce travail est de proposer une approche pragmatique de caractérisation du comportement vibratoire des structures légères assemblées en tenant compte de la variabilité des paramètres des liaisons. L'intérêt de cette approche est de pouvoir être intégrée dans une phase de dimensionnement robuste. On peut ainsi envisager de dimensionner une solution d'amortissement des vibrations d'une structure assemblée en tenant compte de la variabilité du comportement réel des liaisons de cette structure. Ce travail étudie d'abord le comportement dynamique d'une structure légère réelle afin d'identifier un modèle nominal «juste suffisant» des liaisons considérées. Une approche non intrusive de caractérisation du comportement vibratoire d'une structure en présence de paramètres incertains est ensuite proposée. Cette approche, intitulée approche SMR (pour Stochastic Model Reduction), exploite le fait que la variabilité des vecteurs propres d'une structure est généralement d'un ordre de grandeur inférieur à la variabilité des fréquences propres associées ce qui permet de réduire considérablement le coût de calcul de l'approche tout en gardant une bonne précision sur l'estimation des fréquences propres aléatoires de la structure. Le principe de l'approche est alors d'adapter la modélisation stochastique à chaque fréquence propre aléatoire en fonction d'une exigence de précision globale sur l'ensemble des fréquences propres aléatoires recherchées. Le point clé de cette approche consiste à identifier le modèle stochastique adapté à chaque configuration de fréquence propre, pour cela un indicateur sans coût de calcul supplémentaire est proposé. Finalement, un modèle stochastique des liaisons de la structure considérée est proposé et l'approche SMR est utilisée dans un processus d'optimisation basé sur le principe du maximum de vraisemblance pour identifier les paramètres de ce modèle. Cette dernière étape de la démarche proposée permet alors de caractériser le comportement vibratoire de structures assemblées constituées de nombreuses liaisons en tenant compte de la variabilité du comportement de chacune des liaisons. La démarche mise en place dans le cadre de cette thèse est alors concrétisée par la proposition d'une stratégie originale de réduction robuste des vibrations d'une structure assemblée légère<br>Predictive models are needed to properly design assembled structures. The main issue with this kind of structure is to deal with non-linear phenomena as contact or friction while considering sources of uncertainties mainly responsible for the deviation between the effective behavior of the structure and results from deterministic simulations. This work aims to provide a pragmatic approach to characterize the vibrational behavior of light assembled structures considering the variability of parameters of the joints. This approach would be useful for robust design of solutions, such as solutions for damping vibrations, dedicated to assembled structures and taking into account the variability of the real behavior of each joint.In this work, the dynamical behavior of an actual light structure is studied in order to identify a "just sufficient" nominal model of the considered joints. A non intrusive approach is then proposed to reduce the vibrational stochastic model of a structure with random parameters is then proposed. This approach, referred as the SMR approach (for Stochastic Model Reduction approach), takes advantage of the order of variability of random eigenvectors which is usually lower than the variability of corresponding random eigenfrequencies. It then allows to significantly reduce the computational cost for a given accuracy to estimate the structure random eigenfrequencies. The cornerstone of this approach is to adapt the stochastic modeling to each random eigenfrequency depending on a global accuracy requirement on the whole set of sought random eigenfrequency. The key point is then to identify the stochastic model used for each configuration of random eigenfrequency. A computationally free indicator is then proposed. Finally, a stochastic mechanical model of the joints of the studied structure is proposed. The SMR approach is used in an optimization process based on the maximum likelihood principle to identify the parameters of this stochastic model. This last step allows to characterize the vibrational behavior of assembled structures involving many joints taking into account the variability of each joints. This work is then concluded by applying the proposed approach to the design of an original strategy for robust reduction of vibration of light structures

Le mémoire porte sur l'étude de la fiabilité des assemblages utilisant des alliages de brasure sans-plomb en environnement sévère pour des applications électroniques. Une méthode de préparation métallographique fiable et reproductible en vue de l'analyse microstructurale est présentée. L'effet du vieillissement thermique statique sur l'évolution microstructurale de billes de brasure en SAC, la tenue à la fatigue mécanique des assemblages brasés et l'étude de l'endommagement thermomécanique sont développés. Le seul effet notable constaté après vieillissement thermique est l'augmentation des épaisseurs des intermétalliques de contact. A la suite de sollicitations mécaniques, les ruptures sont plus souvent observées dans les pistes que dans les brasures, et ne permettent pas d'incriminer des éléments de la microstructure brasée comme facteurs déterminant de propagation des fissures. Les sollicitations thermomécaniques conduisent à une recristallisation, et les fissures se propagent alors le long des joints de grains recristallisés.

En utilisant le formalisme d'état pour décrire la propagation des ondes structurales dans un milieu bidimensionnel, une jonction est caractérisée intrinsèquement par une matrice de diffusion, dont les propriétés sont présentées dans le cas général bidimensionnel. Une application monodimensionnelle est développée pour une jonction reliant deux poutres, qui induit un couplage entre des ondes de flexion et des ondes de traction. Une méthode de mesure des termes de la matrice de diffusion est validée dans le cas d'une jonction de type masse bloquante. L'étude montre que de faibles variations de paramètres propres à cette jonction influe sensiblement sur les termes de la matrice de diffusion<br>In many engineering applications, assembled structures are widely used. These structures are composed of thin-walled members connected together by mechanical junctions, which characterisation is necessary to have a predictive model of the vibratory behaviour of assembled structure. Using the state vector formalism to describe the structural waves propagation in a bidimensional medium, a junction can be model intrinsically by a scattering matrix, which properties are studied in the bidimensional case. The case of a mono dimensional junction between two beams is developed: this junction couples extensional and bending waves. A measurement method of the coefficients of the scattering matrix is validated using a blocking mass junction. The study shows that slight modifications of the junction have a great influence on the scattering matrix coefficients

La finalité de ce travail de thèse réalisé dans l'industrie automobile, est d'améliorer le confort acoustique des véhicules. En particulier, le bruit basse fréquence résulte en partie des transferts d'énergie par voie solidienne des efforts mécaniques (moteurs, trains) vers les panneaux d'habitacle. L'objectif de ces travaux a consisté à développer des modèles de calcul fiables afin de comprendre les mécanismes de propagation mis en jeu, pour concevoir des ossatures limitant les transferts vibratoires. L'étude a porté sur des corps creux constitués de tôles soudées de faible épaisseur. Pour mette au point les outils d'analyse, des structures de complexité croissante ont été étudiées. De plus, la connaissance des vibrations entretenues a été utilisée pour bénéficier des outils de calcul et de mesure maîtrisés dans l'automobile. L'étude de la propagation des ondes a nécessité le développement conjoint de modèles de calcul et de protocoles de mesure. Une stratégie de validation des modèles a été proposée. Elle est basée sur la confrontation des calculs et des essais en analyse modale, en analyse transitoire sur les temps courts puis longs. Son application à un assemblage de corps creux a permis de dégager des règles de modélisation et des paramètres importants de mesure pour obtenir une bonne corrélation des deux caractérisations sur les temps courts. Pour étendre la validité des modèles aux temps longs, deux modèles de dissipation ont été proposés. Des outils théoriques ont été développés pour analyser les mécanismes de propagation observés à partir du modèle EF de l'assemblage de corps creux. La nature de la propagation a été expliquée, les mécanismes de conversion des ondes de flexion mis en évidence. The purpose of this work is to study the effects of boundaries on granular flows down vibrating inclines, on segregation in granular mixtures induced by boundary vibrations, and on flows of granular mixtures through vibrating sieves. In each case, we employ techniques borrowed from the kinetic theory to derive an appropriate set of boundary conditions, and combine them with existing flow theories to calculate the profiles of solid volume fraction, mean velocity, and granular temperature throughout the flows. The boundaries vibrate with full three-dimensional anisotropy in a manner that can be related to their amplitudes, frequencies, and phase angles in three independent directions. At impenetrable surfaces (such as those on the inclines), the conditions derived ensure that momentum and energy are each balanced at the boundary. At penetrable surfaces (such as sieves), the conditions also ensure that mass is balanced at the boundary. In these cases, the momentum and energy balances also are modified to account for particle transport through the boundary. Particular interest in all the applications considered here is in how the details of the boundary geometry and the nature of its vibratory motion affect the resulting flows. In one case, we derive conditions that apply to a monosized granular material that interacts with a bumpy, vibrating, impenetrable boundary, and predict how such boundaries affect steady, fully developed unconfined inclined flows. Results indicate that the flows can be significantly enhanced by increasing the total energy of vibration and are more effectively enhanced by normal vibration than by tangential vibration. Regardless of the direction of vibration, the bumpiness of the boundary has a profound effect on the flows. In a second case, we derive conditions that apply to a binary granular mixture that interacts with a flat, vibrating, penetrable sieve-like boundary, and predict how such boundaries affect the process in which the particles pass through the sieve. In the special case in which the particles are all the same size, the results make clear that energy is more effectively transmitted to the assemblies when either the total vibrational energy or the normal component of the vibrational energy is increased, but that an increase in the energy transferred to the material can sometimes actually decrease the flow rates through the sieve. Consequently, at any instant of time in the sieving process, there is an optimum level of vibrational energy that will maximize the flow rate. For the sieving of binary granular assemblies, the physics associated with the effects of energy transfer on the flow rates still applies. However, in these cases, the flows through the sieve are also profoundly affected by segregation that occurs while the particles reside on sieve before the pass through. For this reason, we also isolate the segregation process from the sieving process by considering the special case in which the holes in the vibrating sieve are too small to allow any particles to pass through. In this case, the results show that under most circumstances the region immediately adjacent to the vibrating surface will be populated almost entirely by the smaller particles or by the more dissipative particles if there is no size disparity, and that the reverse is true in a second region above the first.

Depuis l’entrée en vigueur de la directive RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive) interdisant l’utilisation du plomb, les industriels des secteurs aéronautique et militaire se doivent de comprendre le comportement en fatigue des nouveaux alliages sans plomb afin de pouvoir estimer leur durabilité en conditions réelles d’utilisation. En se basant sur les résultats d’essais accélérés et les modélisations éléments-finis associées, les modèles de fatigue mécanique et thermomécanique correspondant aux brasures SAC305 sont développés. Le 1er chapitre traite de la caractérisation mécanique et optique de cet alliage sans plomb. Après une étude bibliographique poussée, les propriétés élastiques et viscoplastiques de l’alliage SAC305 sont établies à partir d’essais d’écrouissage, de traction et de nanoindentation. La courbe d’hystérésis contrainte - déformation en cisaillement est en outre tracée via l’utilisation de jauges de déformation. Des analyses EBSD sont finalement réalisées afin d’identifier les caractéristiques microstructurales des joints de brasure SAC305 après refusion. Le chapitre 2 a pour objectif d’évaluer la durabilité des interconnexions SAC305 soumises à des chargements en vibrations et en chocs. L’hypothèse élastique est retenue et les paramètres matériaux du modèle de Basquin sont déterminés. À partir de l’algorithme de comptage rainflow et de la loi de Miner, une méthode d’évaluation de la durabilité en vibration aléatoire est donnée. La tenue mécanique en chocs des brasures SAC305 est enfin discutée et comparée à l’alliage SnPb63Ag2. Le dernier chapitre porte sur l’étude de la fatigue thermomécanique des joints brasés SAC305. En utilisant le modèle viscoplastique unifié d’Anand, la loi de fatigue énergétique correspondant est développée. Le phénomène de recristallisation caractéristique de l’endommagement thermomécanique des brasures SAC305 est finalement investigué à partir d’analyses EBSD.

Cette thèse présente une étude expérimentale et numérique sur les aptitudes en service en ce qui concerne le comportement vibratoire de planchers réalisés en bois d’ingénierie sans colle (AFEWP), à savoir les poutres en bois lamellé sans adhésif (AFLB) et les panneaux en bois lamellé-croisé sans adhésif (AFCLT), assemblés par des tourillons en bois densifié (CWD). Les analyses modales expérimentales ont été réalisées en conditions libres-libre à l'aide d'un marteau instrumenté. Les fréquences naturelles, les modes propres et les coefficients d'amortissement ont été évalués expérimentalement. De plus, des poutres en bois lamellé-collé similaires ont été fabriquées et testées à des fins de comparaison. Un modèle EF 3D a été développé et validé par comparaison avec des données expérimentales, puis utilisé pour prédire le comportement vibratoire d'un système de plancher à grande échelle réalisé avec un panneau AFCLT mesurant 4,5 m x 5,5 m. Une étude paramétrique a été réalisée en utilisant le modèle EF pour identifier les paramètres qui influent sur la rigidité et les fréquences propres du plancher. Les résultats obtenus ont été analysés au regard des critères de conception exigés par Eurocode 5 en ce qui concerne le confort vibratoire des planchers bois. Un modèle EF simplifié a ensuite été développé pour réduire les coûts de calcul. Le niveau de variabilité des résultats des AFEWP a été également étudié et discuté. La variabilité numérique des fréquences des AFEWP a été étudiée en utilisant la méthode MSP (Modal Stability Procedure). Les résultats de la méthode MSP ont d'abord été comparés aux résultats EF dans le cas nominal. Les résultats statistiques (valeur moyenne, écart type, coefficient de variation et distribution) obtenus par la méthode MSP ont été confrontés aux résultats de simulation directe de Monte Carlo ainsi qu’aux données expérimentales. Une estimation rapide des erreurs entre la méthode MSP et la simulation directe de Monte Carlo a été développée. Enfin, la variabilité (moyenne et écart-type des fréquences) du comportement vibratoire du système de plancher à grande échelle a été étudiée en utilisant la méthode MSP<br>This study presents an experimental and numerical investigation on the vibrational serviceability performance of novel adhesive free engineered wood products (AFEWPs), namely adhesive free laminated timber beams (AFLB) and adhesive free cross-laminated timber panels (AFCLT), assembled through thermo-mechanically compressed wood dowels (CWD). The experimental modal analyses were carried out under free-free conditions using a hammer impact. Natural frequencies, mode shapes, and damping ratio were assessed experimentally. In addition, similar glued timber beams (conventional glulam) were manufactured and tested for comparison purpose. A 3D FE model was developed and validated by comparison against experimental data and then used to predict the vibrational behavior of a realistic flooring system made with AFCLT panel measuring 4.5 m x 5.5 m. A parametric study was performed on the FE model to maximize the floor stiffness. The predicted FE results were discussed with regard to the Eurocode 5 vibrational serviceability design requirements showing acceptable vibrational performance. A simplified FE model was then developed to reduce computational cost. The variability level of the results for the AFEWPs was also studied and discussed. The numerical variability of frequencies of the AFEWPs was investigated based on the development of the Modal Stability Procedure (MSP). The MSP result was first compared with the FE result in the nominal case. Then, the statistic results (mean value, standard deviation, coefficient of variation and distribution) obtained from the MSP were compared with the results from the classical method (direct Monte Carlo simulation) and experimental results. A quick error estimation between the MSP and the direct Monte Carlo simulation was developed. Dans cette étude, nous proposons une généralisation de la méthode de réanalyse de l'équilibre des structures à la réanalyse de rigidité (géométrie et matériaux). Cette généralisation fait appel à des conditions mixtes, portant simultanément sur les efforts et les déplacements. Une application a l'endommagement decoule naturellement de cette methode et sera proposee. Cette méthode a pour avantage de donner une solution générale du système de l'équilibre, indépendamment des conditions aux limites. Du point de vue numérique, nous présentons également une méthode de résolution du système singulier par décomposition permettant d'éviter le calcul de l'inverse régularisée. Cette décomposition rejoint le concept de l'inverse partiel de Moore-Penrose. Elle permet un gain en temps de calcul et une simplicité de présentation. Elle facilite l'étude du comportement non linéaire des matériaux et notamment le cas de la variation de rigidité. La puissance de la méthode de réanalyse provient en partie de la facilité avec laquelle elle permet d'imposer des conditions cinématiques diverses. Avec l'extension proposée, toute loi mécanique pouvant s'exprimer directement ou indirectement par des conditions cinématiques ou mixtes peut être modélisée par cette méthode. Ce qui nous a permis de modéliser par exemple, des conditions portant sur le vecteur contraintes alors que cette méthode est basée sur les éléments finis en déplacements. Notre travail est divisé en deux parties : la première est consacrée à la réanalyse avec modification des conditions aux limites en chargements, en déplacements et en contraintes. La deuxième partie de cette étude est consacrée à la réanalyse de rigidité. Comme application, nous traitons le cas de l'endommagement des matériaux composites unidirectionnels.

Cette thèse porte sur l’étude du dévissage spontané d’assemblages vissés, sous sollicitations dynamiques transversales. Un travail expérimental et numérique a été réalisé pour caractériser ce phénomène, dans des conditions proches de celles des assemblages réels. Une expérimentation a permis de provoquer le dévissage d’un boulon, en soumettant l’assemblage à des vibrations transversales par rapport à l’axe de la vis. Les effets de la précharge, du traitement de surface et de la disposition des vis ont été explorés. Ces résultats ont été confrontés avec ceux obtenus par un modèle numérique détaillé utilisant la méthode des éléments finis. Cependant, en raison de la complexité de la géométrie et des difficultés de modélisation à l’échelle locale, le temps de calcul est très important et peut être prohibitif pour une étude industrielle. Afin de remédier à cette difficulté, des modèles simplifiés ont été développés, l’un avec une approche par éléments finis associés à un connecteur cinématique, et l’autre par modélisation unidimensionnelle. Ces modèles simplifiés reproduisent correctement le phénomène du dévissage spontané et confirment leur efficacité en gain de temps de calcul<br>This thesis focuses on the study of the self-loosening of bolted joints under transverse dynamic loads. Experimental and numerical work was carried out in order to reveal this phenomenon under conditions close to those of actual assemblies. An experiment allowed the loosening of a bolt to be caused by subjecting the assembly to transverse vibration with respect to the axis of the screw. Effects of preload, surface treatment and disposal of the screws were explored. These results were compared with those obtained by a detailed numerical model using the finite element method. However, due to the complexity of the geometry and modeling challenges at the local level, the computation time was very long and may be prohibitive for an industrial study. To remedy this problem, two simplified models were developed, one with a finite element approach associated with a kinematic connector, and one by unidimensional modeling. These simplified models correctly reproduce the self-loosening phenomenon and confirm their efficiency in terms of computation time

Au cours de cette thèse, la dynamique des assemblages de structures a été modélisée sous l'angle des oscillateurs a impacts. Plus particulièrement, la dynamique de ces systèmes a été envisagée de manière analytique. Les résultats théoriques de la thèse généralisent les résultats analytiques publiés jusqu'alors dans la littérature. L’étude a ainsi été étendue à l'ensemble des réponses périodiques possibles de ces systèmes : réponses périodiques impactant un nombre fini de fois par période, réponses périodiques avec phases de collage impactant un nombre infini de fois par période. Par ailleurs, les résultats présentés dans le cadre de cette thèse ne se limitent pas aux systèmes monodimensionnels, ils s'appliquent à l'ensemble des oscillateurs à impacts à plusieurs degrés de liberté. Les essais expérimentaux que nous avons menés confirment les travaux analytiques. Grâce aux méthodes analytiques que nous avons développées, il est possible de réaliser une investigation précise et rapide de la dynamique des oscillateurs à impacts. L’application de la méthode de continuation contribue, par la suite, à élargir le champ des résultats dans l'espace des paramètres. Grâce à cet outil, des diagrammes de bifurcation, de réponse fréquentielle ou de régionnement ont été construits. En ce qui concerne les réponses impactant un nombre fini de fois par période, la formulation de la dynamique employée est telle que la difficulté de la résolution du problème est rendue indépendante du nombre de degrés de liberté considérés pour modéliser la structure. L’exploitation de ce type de méthode permet ainsi d'étudier des systèmes réalistes dont le comportement non linéaire peut être très prononce, éventuellement même discontinu (impacts, frottement sec). Les outils que nous avons développés permettent d'aborder la dynamique asymptotique des assemblages boulonnes dans sa complexité.

Développer un modèle de mouvement de foule capable de simuler l'évacuation d'un lieu public de moyenne ou forte affluence devient utile, voire nécessaire, afin que les futures constructions ou aménagements publics puissent offrir une qualité de sécurité optimale à leurs usagers. Les effets des piétons sur les structures du génie civil, comme l'interaction dynamique foule-structure, doivent aussi être pris en compte et modélisés. Dans le cadre de cette thèse, un modèle de foule 2D discret est proposé dans lequel les actions et les décisions de chaque piéton sont traitées individuellement. Ce modèle est aussi capable de modéliser le chargement dynamique d'un piéton sur une structure vibrante. Trois étapes sont nécessaires à l'établissement du modèle proposé. La première concerne la gestion du mouvement et des interactions piéton-piéton et piéton-obstacle. Nous nous sommes inspirés des milieux granulaires pour modéliser les interactions au sein de la foule. Nous avons étudié, implémenté et adapté dans l'environnement MATLAB, le modèle granulaire proposé par Frémond, entrant dans un cadre thermodynamique rigoureux dans lequel les interactions locales sont gérées par l'utilisation de pseudo-potentiels de dissipation, et dans lequel les collisions entre particules peuvent être élastiques ou inélastiques. Une comparaison de ce modèle à deux autres approches déjà adaptées aux mouvements de foule est présentée.La seconde étape consiste à gérer le comportement des piétons. Cette gestion du comportement se fait en plusieurs niveaux de complexité. Dans le premier niveau qui est nécessaire, une stratégie de déplacement est affectée à chaque piéton. La stratégie du chemin le plus court pour qu'un piéton se déplace d'un lieu à un autre a été choisie. Elle a été implémentée à l'aide d'un algorithme de Fast Marching et utilisée pour obtenir la direction souhaitée de chaque piéton au cours du temps. Les autres niveaux de complexité permettent de décrire des comportements plus élaborés tels que l'évitement entre piétons ou le déplacement en sous-groupe, grâce à l'introduction de forces sociales. Une approche originale permettant de former des sous-groupes de piétons à l'aide d'un pseudo-potentiel de dissipation est proposée. La dernière étape concerne le couplage piéton-structure, nous avons cherché à modéliser le chargement dynamique d'un piéton sur une structure vibrante. L'action du piéton sur le sol a été représentée par une force sinusoïdale qui modélise le mouvement d'oscillation de l'individu pendant la marche. En fixant notre attention sur les passerelles, on s'est intéressé au phénomène de synchronisation en fréquence qui peut apparaître entre la fréquence de marche de chaque piéton et la fréquence d'oscillation du système "foule-passerelle". Ce phénomène a été modélisé grâce à l'utilisation d'une équation différentielle de type Kuramoto qui gère la phase de la force de marche de chaque piéton. Un développement analytique du modèle proposé permet d'obtenir les expressions de certains paramètres liés à la synchronisation. Cette thèse porte sur l'étude de l'amortissement des structures assemblées, et plus précisément de la contribution des assemblages sous sollicitations vibratoires. Le mémoire est composé de cinq chapitres traitant la problématique tant du point de vue analytique qu'expérimental. Un banc d'étude académique est proposé afin d'étudier des assemblages sous sollicitation normale constante (statique) et sous sollicitations tangentielles liées aux vibrations de la structure (dynamique). Le facteur de perte caractérisant l'amortissement de la structure est obtenu, dans un premier temps par une étude locale quasi-statique. Puis une fonction de dissipation est définie, permettant d'affiner la modélisation de l'amortissement par une étude dynamique globale. Au regard des résultats obtenus par la modélisation, une analyse expérimentale est menée. Cela afin d'isoler la contribution, à l'amortissement de la structure, des glissements partiels dans les assemblages. Pour cela, deux structures géométriquement identiques, l'une monolithique et l'autre assemblée sont étudiées. Les effets des interfaces sont analysés puis comparés aux résultats analytiques. Afin de simuler plus précisément ces effets, une modélisation prenant en compte les défauts de forme des surfaces en contact est menée<br>This thesis presents a study of damping in assembled structures, or, more precisely, a study of the vibrations of assemblies under external excitations. The paper contains five chapters examining this problem from both analytical and experimental viewpoints. An academic investigation is presented as a foundation in order to study assemblies both under constant normal stresses (static), and under tangential stresses linked to the structural vibrations (dynamic). The loss factor that characterizes the damping of the structure is obtained through a quasi-static local study. Then, a dissipation function is given, which allows the refinement of the damping model through a global dynamic study. An experimental analysis is undertaken to examine the results obtained by the modeling. The objective of this analysis is to isolate the effects, at the structural damping, of partial sliding in the assemblies. To isolate these effects, two structures identical in shape and material, one assembled and one uniform, are studied. The data collected from the interfaces are analyzed, and then compared to the analytical results. A full understanding of chemical reaction dynamics at the gas/organic-surface interface requires knowledge of energy-transfer processes that happen during the initial gas/surface collision. We have examined the influence of mass and rovibrational motion on the energy-transfer dynamics of gas-phase species scattering from model organic surfaces using theory and experiment. Molecular-beam scattering techniques were used to investigate the rare gases, Ne, Ar, Kr, and Xe, and the diatomics, N<sub>2</sub> and CO, in collisions with CH<sub>3</sub>- and CF<sub>3</sub>-terminated self-assembled monolayer (SAM) surfaces. Complementary molecular-dynamics simulations were employed to gain an atomistic view of the collisions and elucidate mechanistic details not observable with our current experimental apparatus. We developed a systematic approach for obtaining highly accurate analytic intermolecular potential-energy surfaces, derived from high-quality ab initio data, for use in our classical-trajectory simulations. Results of rare gas scattering experiments and simulations indicate mass to be the determining factor in the energy-transfer dynamics, while other aspects of the potential-energy surface play only a minor role. Additionally, electronic-structure calculations were used to correlate features of the potential-energy surface with the energy-transfer behavior of atoms and small molecules scattering from polar and non-polar SAM surfaces. Collisions of diatomic molecules with SAMs are seen to be vibrationally adiabatic, however translational energy transfer to and from rotational modes of the gas species, while relatively weak, is readily apparent. Examination of the alignment and orientation of the final rotational angular momentum of the gas species reveals that the collisions induce a stereodynamic preference for the expected "cartwheel" motion, as well as a surprising propensity for "corkscrew" or "propeller" motion. The calculated stereodynamic trends suggest that the CH<sub>3</sub>-SAM is effectively more corrugated than the CF<sub>3</sub>-SAM. Finally, the feasibility for collisional-energy promoted, direct gas/organic-surface reactions was interrogated using the 1,3-dipolar azide-alkyne cycloaddition reaction. We found that geometrical constraints prevented the reaction from proceeding at the probed conditions.<br>Ph. D.

Self-assembled monolayers provide possibility of changing metal surface properties in controllable manner and are widely used in studies of electron transfer, construction of (bio)sensors, and biotechnological and photoelectronic processes. Positively charged monolayers are valuable in development of sensors for anions and (bio)technological processes with adsorbed negatively charged macromolecules. In this work the structural and functional properties of monolayer formed from synthesized molecule with terminal thiol and pyridinium groups have been studied. The main tasks were to assess the structure of N-(6-mercapto)hexylpyridinium (MHP) on Ag and Au electrodes, and to determine the peculiarities of interaction with inorganic anions, dodecylsulfate, and graphene oxide. Based on surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS), quantum chemical calculations, and isotopic substitution studies, the Raman marker bands for structure and orientation of MHP have been evaluated. Dependence of SERS intensity on potential and excitation wavelength has revealed the operation of charge transfer Raman enhancement mechanism. It was found that the frequency of symmetric stretching mode of adsorbed ions decreases comparing with solution value and the extent of the shift correlates with the Gibbs dehydration energy. Adsorption of graphene oxide at MHP monolayer has been demonstrated. Teigiamo krūvio monosluoksniai naudojami kuriant anijonų jutiklius ir (bio)technologinius procesus su adsorbuotomis neigiamo krūvio makromolekulėmis. Darbe buvo susintetinta bifunkcinė molekulė su galinėmis tiolio ir piridinio grupėmis, suformuotas monosluoksnis ir ištirtos jo struktūrinės ir funkcinės savybės. Pagrindiniai darbo tikslai buvo ištirti N-(6-merkapto)heksilpiridinio (MHP) adsorbuoto ant Au ir Ag elektrodų struktūrą ir nustatyti monosluoksnio sąveikos su neorganiniais anijonais, dodecilsulfato anijonu ir grafeno oksidu dėsningumus. Naudojant paviršiaus sustiprintos Ramano spektroskopijos, kvantų chemijos skaičiavimo ir izotopinio pakeitimo metodus nustatyti MHP struktūros ir orientacijos elektrodo atžvilgiu Ramano sklaidos žymenys. Tiriant juostų intensyvumo priklausomybes nuo potencialo ir žadinančios spinduliuotės bangos ilgio parodyta, kad Au/MHP sistemoje pasireiškia krūvio pernešimo Ramano spektrų stiprinimo mechanizmas. Nustatyta, kad adsorbuotų neorganinių anijonų pilnai simetrinio virpesio dažnis sumažėja lyginant su tirpalo spektru ir tas pokytis koreliuoja su Gibso dehidracijos energija. Parodyta, kad MHP pritraukia grafeno oksidą. Nustatyta, kad grafeno oksido CC ryšio ilgis ir elektroninė struktūra gali būti keičiama, keičiant potencialą.

This project aims to use these features to develop an in-situ molecular specific Raman spectroscopic methodology which can provide structural information about the organic–inorganic interface. The development of this methodology identified a surface enhanced Raman spectroscopic technique, that required minimal sample preparation, allowed for the detection of selected organic species immobilised on an inorganic matrix and was effective for quantities below those which conventional dispersive Raman spectroscopy would detect. For the first time spectral information was gained which allowed analysis of the organic–inorganic interface to be carried out, this gave an insight into the orientation with which molecules arrange on the surfaces of the matrices. Additionally a method for the detection of organic residues intercalated into the interlamellar space of smectite type clays was developed. An evaluation of the effectiveness of uni and multivariate methods for the analysis of large datasets containing a small number of organic features was also carried out, with a view to develop an unsupervised methodology capable of performing with minimal user interaction. It has been shown that a novel use of the Hotellings T2 test when applied to the principal component analysis of the datasets combined with SERS allows identification of a small number of organic features in an otherwise inorganic dominated dataset. Both the SERS and PCA methods hold relevance for the detection of organic residues within interplanetary exploration but may also be applied to terrestrial environmental chemistry.

Les mono-couches auto-assemblées (SAMs) sont des systèmes de choix pour le développement de plateformes moléculaires aux propriétés physico-chimiques contrôlées. Il s’agit de monocouches organisées de molécules bi-fonctionnelles. Ces molécules se composent d’une fonction terminale modulable, séparée d’un groupement d’ancrage par un espaceur adapté. Ainsi, les propriétés des SAMs peuvent être ajustées pour le développement de systèmes électroniques moléculaires ou de capteurs (bio)-chimiques. De plus, des structurations chimiques supplémentaires peuvent être induites par irradiation.Les méthodes d’irradiation les plus courantes impliquent des particules de haute énergie. Les dommages induits résultent de plusieurs mécanismes en compétition (ionisations, excitations, dissociations). Dans cette thèse, les électrons lents (0-20 eV) sont utilisés comme particules primaires, et les processus d’interaction électron-SAM sont étudiés afin d’identifier les résonances d’attachement électronique. Aux énergies concernées, des processus dissociatifs sélectifs et efficaces peuvent être mis à profit pour proposer des stratégies d’irradiation menant à des modifications chimiques contrôlées et optimisées.Des SAMs modèles de thiols sur or sont étudiées par une technique de spectroscopie vibrationnelle de forte sensibilité de surface, la spectroscopie de perte d’énergie d’électrons lents (HREELS). Elle permet à la fois de caractériser les SAMs et de sonder les processus d'interaction électron-molécule. Les résultats obtenus concernent les : 1) SAMs aromatiques modèles de terphénylthiol (HS-(C₆H₄)₂-C₆H₅), stabilisables par réticulation sous irradiation. Une caractérisation vibrationnelle poussée de la SAM avant et après irradiation, en portant une attention particulière au comportement des modes d’élongation ν(CH), a permis d’opposer les processus de réactivité induite à 1, 6 et 50 eV.2) SAMs d’acide mercaptoundécanoïque (HS-(CH₂)₁ ₀ -COOH), les fonctions acides terminales permettant par exemple le greffage de peptides. A SAM is an ordered monolayer of bi-functionnal molecules. These molecules consist of an adjustable terminal function, separated from a headgroup by a chosen spacer chain. Thus, SAMs properties can be adjusted for the development of molecular electronic systems or (bio)-chemical sensors. Furthermore, additional chemical structuration can be induced by irradiation.Most current methods of irradiation involve high energy particles. The induced damages result from several competitive mechanisms (ionisations, excitations, dissociations). In this thesis, low energy electrons (0-20 eV) are used as primary particles, and the interaction processes between electrons and SAMs are studied in order to identify electron attachment resonances. At the associated energies, selective and effective dissociative processes can be induced to propose irradiation strategies leading to controlled and optimized chemical modifications.Model SAMs of thiols on gold are studied by a vibrational spectroscopy technique of strong surface sensibility, high resolution electron energy loss spectroscopy (HREELS). It allows at the same time to characterize SAMs and to probe electron-molecule interaction processes. The result obtained deal with : 1) Aromatic model SAMs of Terphenyl-thiol (HS-(C₆H₄)₂-C₆H₅), which can be stabilized by cross-linking under irradiation. La forte sensibilité des ouvrages bois aux transmissions latérales, vibrations et autres sons basses fréquences représente un obstacle à leur développement. En réponse à cette problématique, le projet Vibracoubois, dans lequel s'inscrivent ces travaux, vise à développer la caractérisation ainsi que la modélisation des transferts vibro-acoustiques au sein de ces structures. L'objectif principal de ces travaux est donc d'élargir le champ de l'étude expérimentale et numérique à une structure complète constituée de différentes parois et de cavités couplées. Les jonctions, véritables nœuds des systèmes constructifs, sont placées au centre de l'étude. Pour ce faire, un protocole expérimental est développé, permettant d'effectuer des mesures en laboratoire mais également in-situ sur des structures réelles. Les résultats de campagnes d'essais effectuées au sein de deux maquettes d'ouvrages bois (ossature et bois massif) grandeur nature sont présentés. Par ailleurs, en vue de se rapprocher des jonctions réelles du bâtiment, des méthodes numériques de couplage incluant des effets locaux de dissipation sont développées. Une méthode hybride est présentée. Un modèle numérique de la maquette en bois massif, basé sur la méthode des éléments-finis, est créé. L'utilisation de cette méthode est justifiée de par la prépondérance des comportements modaux aux basses fréquences. Ce modèle intègre la méthode hybride en vue d'obtenir un couplage souple entre les parois, par opposition au couplage classique rigide des éléments-finis. Les résultats d'un processus de recalage portant sur les propriétés des parois et des jonctions ainsi que sur le couplage vibro-acoustique sont présentés<br>Wooden buildings are very sensitive to flanking transmissions, vibrations and low frequency sounds, which interferes with their development. The Vibracoubois project, in which this research work is part of, aims to respond to this problem by improving the vibro-acoustic transfers characterization and modelling of these structures. This research work mainly focuses on expanding the experimental and the numerical scope of the study to an entire structure made of coupled walls and air cavities. The junctions, considered critical for the vibration propagation in these buildings, are placed at the center of this work. First, an experimental protocol is presented. It allows to measure both the vibro-acoustic behaviour of laboratory and real structures. The results of test campaigns run on two full-scale experimental mock-ups (timber frame and CLT) are then presented. Secondly, numerical coupling methods that include local dissipation effects are developed, in order to get closer to real junctions behaviour. A hybrid coupling method is presented. A numerical model of the CLT mock-up, based on the finite-elements method, is then created. The use of this method is justified because of the strong modal behaviour of these structures at low frequencies. This model implements the hybrid coupling method in order to create flexible junctions, as opposed to the classic rigid coupling of the finite-elements. Based on the CLT mock-up experimental measurements, the results of an adjustment process of the wall and the junction properties used in the numerical model is finally presented

Cette étude porte sur la simulation dynamique de structures présentant des interfaces non linéaires et plus particulièrement sur le développement de diverses extensions à la méthode de balance harmonique. Cette méthode, qui permet le calcul de réponses vibratoires stationnaires, est basée sur l'approximation en série de Fourier tronquée de la réponse. En fonction de caractère plus ou moins non linéaire de la réponse, le nombre d'harmoniques à retenir pour approcher de façon satisfaisante la réponse peut être important et varier fortement sur l'ensemble de la plage de fréquence de simulation. Un des objectifs principaux de cette recherche a été de proposer une stratégie de calcul qui permette d'adapter le nombre d'harmoniques à chaque fréquence. Dans l'optique d'approcher le mouvement global de la structure, la méthodologie proposée se base sur le suivi de l'énergie de déformation du système en fonction de la richesse du contenu fréquentiel. La formulation développée reste simple à calculer et compatible avec les étapes de condensation interne à la méthode de balance harmonique. L'extension de cette technique au calcul de réponses quasi-stationnaires est en outre possible en redéfinissant les stratégies de choix des harmoniques à retenir. Parallèlement à ce but principal, la présence de variables internes dans les modèles non linéaires d'interface (modèle de frottement par exemple) a été prise en compte dans la formulation des équations de la balance harmonique adaptative. Ces méthodes spécifiques ont ensuite été mises en oeuvre sur des modèles numériques de structures aéronautiques. Un isolateur d'équipement utilisant un matériau viscoélastique non linéaire a ainsi pu être simulé. Ensuite, la méthode de balance harmonique adaptative a pu être appliquée à l'étude des effets dynamiques non linéaires observée sur les structures boulonnées. Enfin, le calcul de réponses quasi périodiques s'est effectué sur un tronçon de lanceur intégrant des amortisseurs à frottement sec.

Ce mémoire présente les travaux de thèse visant à étudier le comportement parasismique des éléments de murs à ossature en bois aux travers d’approches expérimentales et du développement d’une méthodologie d’application de méthodes basées sur la performance sismique. Les approches expérimentales sont constituées de trois campagnes d’essais : (1) une série d’essais monotones et cycliques à l’échelle d’assemblages agrafés et pointés, (2) une série d’essais monotones et cycliques à l’échelle de l’élément de mur à ossature en bois et (3) une série d’essais dynamiques sur table vibrante. La base de données constituée par les résultats d’essais permet alors l’examen des propriétés de résistance et de raideur des éléments de murs suivant les conditions de sollicitation (vitesse d’essai, chargement vertical). Le développement d’une modélisation à l’échelle macro du comportement cyclique et dynamique de tels éléments est également proposé à l’aide de modèles de loi de comportement hystérétiques. Une méthodologie d’application aux structures à ossature bois de méthodes basées sur la performance sismique (méthode N2 et MPA) ainsi qu’une analyse de vulnérabilité - construction de courbes de fragilité - à l’aide de la méthode N2 sont proposées<br>This thesis presents a study of the seismic behavior of light timber frame walls with stapled and nailed sheathings through experimental approaches and the development of a methodology for the application of seismic performance-based methods. The experimental approaches consist of three test campaigns: (1) a series of static tests on stapled and nailed connections, (2) a series of static tests performed on light timber frame walls and (3) a series of dynamic tests performed on light timber frame walls on a vibrating table. The database consists of these test results then allows the examination of strength and stiffness properties of the wall elements according to the stress conditions (strain rate, vertical load). The development of a macro-scale modeling of the cyclic and dynamic behavior of such elements is also proposed using constitutive law models. A framework of the application to light timber frame structures of seismic performance-based methods based (N2 method and MPA method) and a vulnerability analysis - fragility curves - using the N2 method are proposed

One of the most important problems that plague turbomachinery rotors is the existence of rogue blades -- lone blades that exhibit unexpected fatigue failure. It has been recognized that rotor mistuning might be the cause of rogue blades through a phenomenoncalled normal mode localization, whereby vibration energy is confined to a few blades of the assembly. The goals of this dissertation are (1) to achieve a thorough understanding of the fundamental mechanisms governing mistuning effects, (2) the development of mathematical models of turbomachinery rotors suitable for mistuning analysis, and (3) the development of techniques for designers interested in the mistuning sensitivity of a particular rotor design.

У кваліфікаційній роботі наведена класифікація механічних впливів на апаратуру, що встановлюється на рухомому носії, зазначені вимоги до амортизаторів, надані їх характеристики та умови раціонального монтажу амортизаторів, а також було розраховано статичні навантаження на амортизатори і частоти власних коливань системи віброзахисту. Так в роботі проведено структурно параметричну оптимізацію системи захисту об’єкту від механічних збуджень, який встановлений на рухомому носії. З цією метою визначено схеми віброзахисної системи (площини установки амортизаторів, площини симетрії, оптимальні координат кріплення амортизаторів до об'єкту захисту при вибраному експертом, якщо це представляється можливим, або за умовчанням кількості амортизаторів, номінальних навантажень) на основі заданих вхідних даних і використання сформованих баз даних. Проведено динамічний розрахунок систем віброізоляції, метою якого є визначення частот власних коливань системи, параметри вимушених коливань об’єкту захисту за відомими параметрами коливань рухомого носія та визначена ефективність віброзахисту.<br>EN : The work is presented on 97 pages of printed text, 15 figures, 5 annexes, 10 references. The object of study is systems of vibration protection of the object. The aim of the work is to research and develop an algorithm for building an optimal system of vibration protection of an object against mechanical excitation, which is mounted on a moving carrier. The research method is analytical. The master's work describes the classification of mechanical influences on the equipment mounted on the movable carrier, specifies the requirements for shock absorbers, their characteristics and conditions of rational installation of shock absorbers, as well as the static load on the shock absorbers and the vibrational frequency of the vibration protection system were calculated. Thus, the structural optimization of the protection system of the object against mechanical excitation, which is mounted on a movable carrier, is carried out in the work. For this purpose, the schemes of the vibration protection system (plane of shock absorber installation, plane of symmetry, optimal coordinates of fastening of shock absorbers to the object of protection selected by the expert, if it is possible, or by default the number of shock absorbers, nominal loads) are defined on the basis of the specified input data and using determined databases. Dynamic calculation of isolation systems vibration is carried out, the purpose of which is to determine the frequencies of the system's oscillations, the parameters of the forced oscillations of the object of protection by the known parameters of the oscillations of the movable carrier and to determine the effectiveness of the vibration protection.
