Метою роботи було зменшення участі людини при проведенні робіт в небезпечних умовах, використовуючи дистанційно кероване обладнання. У зв'язку з цим досить актуальним є створення робототехнічних комплексів, призначених для проведення робіт з попередження або ліквідації наслідків позаштатних ситуацій.

Abstract:
The emerging technology of active RFID tags has strong potential in the areas of real time health monitoring, sorting of cargo, and large scale inventory management because of their longer communication range and larger data storage capacity. The market of active RFID is growing very rapidly and therefore there has been an increase in the number of companies engaging in this field. But very often it is found that the products available in the market are not always suited to the application at hand. To overcome this problem, off the shelf active RFID products which were reconfigurable and followed a standard PHY and MAC layer protocol were used for this work. By reprogramming the application layer protocol of the RFID hardware, these devices were made suitable for the desired application. This also allowed the RFID tags to extend their functionality by interfacing extra modules with themselves. The work presented in this thesis describes the way in which the microcontroller on board the active RFID tags and readers can be programmed so that the functionality of the RFID hardware can be changed as per requirements. It also shows that extra modules can be added to the tag by successfully interfacing an accelerometer module with the tag.

Abstract:
Legacy computer systems are systems where several of the main hardware and software components date back several decades. Modernizing these systems is often considered a large monetary and temporal investment with high risk, and to keep maintaining them usually becomes more and more difficult over time, which is why these legacy systems are still being used to this day in many industry sectors. A solution is therefore to try and integrate the legacy system components into modern systems, and there are several ways of achieving this. This bachelor thesis project work aims to analyze one approach known as “wrapping”. More specifically it analyzes NESizer2 Method, a method which utilizes relatively simple hardware and software interfaces to control the Ricoh RP2A03 processor found in the Nintendo Entertainment System, using an Atmega328 microprocessor. During the design and development phases of the project work a literature study was conducted, and experimental research method was utilized. The testing and experimental phases of the project work was focused on examining how identified key variables behaved when modifying certain parameters in the system. While we were able to produce some valid data, the results proved to be somewhat inconclusive, as certain operations such as memory operations did not work, leading to the conclusion that our circuit contained a faulty component.
Legacydatorsystem är system där många av de huvudsakliga hårdvaruoch mjukvarukomponenterna är flera decennier gamla. Att modernisera dessa system ses ofta som en stor monetär och tidsmässig investering, och att fortsätta att underhålla dem blir vanligtvis svårare och svårare med tiden. En lösning är därför att försöka att integrera legacy-systemets komponenter i moderna system, och det finns ett flertal tillvägagångssätt att uppnå detta. Detta kandidatexamensarbete ämnar att analysera ett tillvägagångssätt känt som “wrapping”. Mer specifikt analyseras NESizer2-metoden, en metod som utnyttjar relativt enkla hårdvaruoch mjukvarugränssnitt till att kontrollera Ricoh 2A03-processorn som finns i Nintendo Entertainment System, med hjälp av en Atmega328 mikroprocessor. Under designoch utvecklingsfaserna av projektarbetet utfördes en litteraturstudie, och experimentiell forskningsmetod användes. Testoch experimentfaserna av projektarbetet fokuserade på att undersöka hur identifierade nyckelvariabled betedde säg då man modifierade vissa parametrar i systemet. Även om vi lyckades producera en del riktig data visade sig resultaten vara ofullständiga, då vissa operationer såsom minnesoperationer inte fungerade, vilket ledde till slutsatsen att vår krets innehöll en defekt komponent.

Abstract:
This Master´s thesis focuses on design and implementation of programmable attenuator. The main aim of this thesis is to create an electronical device that provide continuous setting of attenuation value in the range between 0–150 dB. Setting a value from the range can be performed using buttons and set values are shown on display. For this thesis an attenuator with working frequency between 0–6 GHz was chosen and four–layer printed circuit board was designed. As a result the device is fitted with an 8bit microcontroller ATmega328P–PU using five 6bit digital attenuators connected in series with manual and program settings of attenuation from 0–157,5 dB with step of 0,5 dB. Data are shown on a build–in display. The application for remote settings and value reading over integrated USB (Universal Serial Bus) interface, was created in C#. In conclusion of this thesis there is a measurement evaluation of attenuation measurement performed on the device.

Abstract:
Control applications are used in almost all scientific domains and are subject to timing constraints. Moreover, different applications can run on the same platform which leads to even more complex timing behaviors. However, some of the timing issues are not always considered in the implementation of such applications, and this can make the system fail. In this thesis, the timing issues are considered, i.e., the problem of non-constant delay in the control of an inverted pendulum with a real-time kernel running on an ATmega328p micro-controller. The study shows that control performance is affected by this problem. In addition, the thesis, reports the adaptation of an existing real-time kernel based on an EDF (Earliest Deadline First) scheduling policy, to the architecture of the ATmega328p. Moreover, the new approach of a server-based kernel is implemented in this thesis, still on the same Atmel micro-controller.

Abstract:
This thesis deals with the design and the realization of the radiocommunication monitor for the 868 MHz band. In the thesis, a description of licence-free radio bands complying ITU recommendations and ETSI standards is given. A special attention is paid to the 863 MHz - 870 MHz band. The transceiver CC1020 that forms the base for the monitor is described in detail. The circuit design, the monitor assembly and the firmware creation are presented step by step. The radiocommunication monitor is portable and battery powered. The monitor is able to display RF signals in the 868 MHz band, to indicate the frequency error of the transmitter and to receive FSK modulated signal. Demodulated data can be transferred to the personal computer via the USB.

The purpose of this diploma thesis was design and realisation of measuring system, enabling measuring forces between climber´s feet and holds on the climbing wall and using this measu-red values during a training of sport climber. In this thesis there are discovered possibilities about constructing this system and determina-ted basic requirements of measuring. There are also stated principles of application the strain gauges for measuring the tension. Descriptions of developping specific sensors, hardware interface and PC application are also part of this thesis. Constructed system was used for mea-suring climbers and values were analysed by using the application.

Abstract:
Upcycling can be described as an activity where outdated or discarded products are used as raw-materials in the construction of a new object, for which an increased quality or value is achieved. Some ideas for upcycling of technologically simple products have prooved successful, in the sense that those ideas have become widespread and practically implemented within a certain target audience. This thesis explores how an idea concerning upcycling of an electric product can be developed into a prototype, with the intent to simplify application of the idea within the target audience of electronic hobbyists. This is achieved through the development of a prototype for an adapter, the purpose of which is to extend the functionality of a character based LCD module with the Hitachi HD44780 control circuit. This allows for using such LCD module for displaying text in additional languages, and (for certain applications) using it as a substitute for a monochromatic graphical LCD module. The conclusion of the study is that the adapter prototype is capable of increasing the number of user defined characters that can be displayed simeltanously by a character LCD module, and that the prototype may be of use for certain types of applications within the intended target audience.
"Upcycling" kan beskrivas som en syssla där föråldrade eller kasserade produkter används som material vid tillverkning av ett nytt föremål, vilket har högre kvalitet eller värde. Det finns exempel på idéer för "upcycling" av teknologiskt enkla produkter vilka har visat sig framgångsrika, i bemärkelsen att de har nått spridning och tillämpas praktiskt inom någon målgrupp. I detta arbete undersöks hur en idé för "upcycling" av en elektrisk produkt kan utvecklas till en prototyp, med syftet att underlätta tillämpning av denna idé inom målgruppen elektronikhobbyister. Detta sker genom utveckling av en prototyp till en adapter, som utökar funktionaliteten hos en teckendisplaymodul med styrkretsen Hitachi HD44780. Adapterns funktion är att öka det antal användardefinierade tecken som kan visas på en sådan teckendisplaymodul. Detta möjliggör att teckendisplaymodulen kan användas för att visa text på fler språk, och att den för vissa ändamål kan användas som substitut för en monokrom grafisk displaymodul. Slutsatsen av arbetet är att prototypen av denna adapter kan användas för att öka det antal användardefinierade tecken som samtidigt kan visas på en teckendisplaymodul, samt att prototypen kan vara användbar för vissa syften inom den avsedda målgruppen.

Šis spausdintuvas plačiai naudojamas šiuose kasos aparatuose: ELCOM EURO-2000M, CASIO FE-800, DATECS MP-500, KONIC SR508F. Šiuos spausdintuvus remontuojant kasos aparatuose, iškyla pavojus, panaikinti kasos aparato atmintį, kurioje saugomi programiniai ir apyvartų duomenys. Spausdinimo įrenginio „CITIZEN MD-910“ patikros stendas kuriamas, tam, kad palengvinti kasos aparatų remonto darbus, taip sumažinant tikimybę panaikinti remontuojamo kasos aparato atmintį. Darbo tikslas – išnagrinėti spausdinimo įrenginio „CITIZEN MD-910“ veikimo principą, elektrines bei mechanines charakteristikas. Taip pat, išsiaiškinti spausdintuvo dvigubos galvos adatų išsidėstymą, sukurti spausdinimo algoritmą, simbolių biblioteką ir valdymo programą. Spausdintuvas „CITIZEN MD-910“ bus dedamas į stendą ir pasiuntus į jį iš valdymo programos tekstą, tikrinamas jo veikimas. Stendas atitiks spausdintuvo realų darbinį režimą. Iš to, kaip vyks spausdinimas, ir iš atspausdinto teksto ant popieriaus juostos, bus sprendžiama apie spausdintuvo mechaninius ir elektronikos gedimus, adatų veikimą ir jų mušimo jėgą į popierių, bei tinkamumą tolesnei eksploatacijai. Spausdinimo įrenginio „CITIZEN MD-910“ patikros stendo pagrindinė kūrimo priežastis yra ta, jog nėra sukurtų panašių analogų, kurie palengvintų šių kasos aparatų spausdinimo įrenginių remonto darbus.
Dot impact printer mechanism “CITIZEN MD-910” is used in cash registers as a printer for customer receipts and journal paper ribbons. This printer is widely used in the cash registers such as ELCOM EURO-2000M, CASIO FE-800, DATECS MP-500, KONIC SR508F. Repairing these printers inside the cash registers there is a risk to delete the cash register’s memory in which programs and data of a turnover is stored. The dot impact printer mechanism “CITIZEN MD-910” test stand is being worked out to make the cash registers repairing easier and in this way to reduce the risk of deleting cash registers memory. The printer “CITIZEN MD-910” will be placed in the test stand and its work will be tested by sending text from the operating program into it. The stand will simulate real working conditions of the printer. Analyzing the printing process and the printed text on the paper ribbon it will be possible to decide on printer’s mechanical and electrical damage, work of wires and force they dot the paper, also, further usability. There are no similar analogues which could make the repairing of the cash registers dot impact printer mechanism “CITIZEN MD-910” easier and this is the main reason to work out the dot impact printer mechanism “CITIZEN MD-910” test stand.

This thesis deals with the design and implementation of a control system that complements the existing BS110 flip-dot display panel and enables Ethernet and wireless communication. It first briefly discusses the original use of the display, and gives an overview of the display types. This is followed by an analysis, testing and repair of the BS110 panel, followed by a description of the proposed concept and the development of the control computers and their circuitry. For these, the thesis further describes the design and implementation of the software consisting of a website, database, MCU control script and display circuit control program. Finally, the system so designed and built is demonstrated and evaluated.

This Master's thesis deals with design and a realisation of a device controlling an OLED display, Densitron DD-25664-1A. This display has a resolution of 256 x 64 pixels and allows displaying of 4-bit grayscale. The proposed utility software implements the initialization and termination functions, two sets of fonts { Latin and Greek letters and functions for rendering graphics and text. The result of the project is a device with the controlling software.

The first part of the work was dealing in general with switched power supply and types of battery chargers. The second part is made by my own design of microprocessor driven battery charger. The design is based on datasheets and recommended circuit connection. The electrical scheme and also the printed circuit board was designed in Eagle 5.11.0 design system. The battery charger is capable of charging these types of batteries: lead acid, NiMH, NiCd, LiPol a alkaline accumulators, and the maximal output current from charger is 3A. The software implementation and design are also part of this master‘s thesis.

The diploma thesis introduces the reader to the problems of chemical sensors and the basics of degradation processes in materials of animal origin. It describes some types of sensors and their principles. Atmel ATmega328 microprocessor, its parameters and programming are described. In the next part of the thesis there is a proposal and production of equipment for monitoring of degradation processes in materials of animal origin. Sample sof chicken and milk were mesuared. From these measurements, the gas concentration values were determined, where samples can be considered suitable for consumation.

Abstract:
This diploma project summarizes a theoretical introduction regarding the issue of traffic light control. Further there is industrial communication discussed, where they are the Ethernet / IP protocol and the Modbus TCP protocol described more in detail. The following is the description of the Logix series programmable controllers. Then the diploma follows up with market research in order to find the most suitable development kit which is used as a trial prototype. Then it is concerned with a development kit with a communication module from AND-TECH company. Software was developed on them, more specifically a library for processor ports, memory and the Modbus TCP protocol. After verifying the functionality of the software, the hardware design was started. From the first site it is development kit and module and from the second site there are input and output circuits. There must be the assessment of the results found during the test operation. The end of the document describes incorrect steps that were repaired in hardware.

The aim of this master’s thesis is to design a device for identification of bus stops for blind people. In the beginning the work describes information about the RFID system, characterizes each part of this system, mutual communication of its components and evaluates possibilities of RFID communication frequency bands. Subsequently the work describes the block diagram of the device and the circuit scheme of each block. Work concentrates on a selection of circuit components for the RFID transceiver, the voice module, the control module and choose a suitable transponder to place it on metal constructions. Control programs are also described. PCB design of each board, partlists and source codes are in the appendices of this master’s thesis.

This thesis describes the design of a modem for a communication over residential power lines. First part is focused on the history, suitable frequency bands, modulation techniques and mainly on the selection of the optimal modem device. Second section contains the description of the hardware design of the modem itself and clarifies the implementation of the PLC module to be used as a communication interface for a full residential automation solution. Last chapters of this thesis introduce the communication protocol, design of the software for the ATmega32 MCU and present of the final field testing under real conditions.

Abstract:
This diploma thesis deals with digital audio amplifier with universal inputs and its design. The first part describes modulation and audio formats for audio electronics. The thesis contain design of a block diagram of the digital audio amplifier and describes the requirements for functional blocks. As a basic device for audio signal processing was choosen integrated circuit STA326. The thesis continue with circuits design for each blocks with a description of their principles. The next section describes the construction and firmware for microcontroller. The last part of this diploma thesis is targeted on the presentation of the measured parameters of the amplifier. The conclusion summarizes the results that have been achieved and advantages and disadvantages of the digital audio amplifier prototype.

The required output parameters are specified by user in a computer application. The teoretical part includes method of USB communication and introduction to switching power sources with focus on a Sepic topologii. The practical part describe individual circuit solution which contains of a complete device. Is analyzed in detail the proposal Sepic converter circuit and controling by microcontroller. The work also includes the design of microcontroller and computer applications. The result of this thesis is a functional device on which is the performed measurement.

Abstract:
This diploma thesis deals with design and realization of a module for a digital signal procesor, for handheld RFID reader working in UHF band. It utilises a special chip EM4298 for RFID signals processing. Module is controlled by the microcontroller ATmega32L, which communicates with the PC through USB bus. Settings in EM4298 is made by a service program which processes received identifying data obtained from tags. Source codes for microcontroller are created in AVR Studio 4.13 program. Source codes for microcontroller are created in C++ Builder 6.0 program. Further thing is Desing and realization of analog interface and a UHF transceiver for wireless communication with tags. A Webench program was used for the analog interface design, which is freely available on the internet. For verification of parameters of the analog interface it was used PSpice 10.0 program. The UHF transceiver is build-up with a MAX2903 chip (transmitter) and AD8347 (receiver) and transmitting and receiving antennae.

The aim of this master thesis is to propose a system for monitoring and regulating the climate in groups of terrariums using the Raspberry Pi platform and subsequent transparent display through the web server. Each group of terrariums has its own control device that wirelessly communicates with the Raspberry Pi control computer. The measured values are stored in the MySQL database on the control computer. The measured values are graphically displayed on the web page.

The Sensor Integration Kit was applied to connect the system and the sensors in the way which was simplified on the wiring system by RJ45 and the Program Puzzle was designed to use the expansions of mBlock for automatic puzzle build-up. The mBlock was used as the system programming tool to form the puzzle program by the integration programs of JavaScrip and S2E, which integrated 7 different sensors and electronic devices such as super-sonic, buzzer, motor, line sensor, flame sensor, sound sensor and LED lights for further applications by the integrated Puzzle Program and Sensor Circuit. The platform designed in this study is specifically suitable for education units on further control of devices for projects and is able to combine the other sensors for the more complicated data analysis and the extra sensor applications.

O presente documento relata o trabalho desenvolvido, no âmbito do estágio curricular que frequentei durante o presente ano letivo. Estando a entidade acolhedora inserida no ramo do Controlo de Acessos, o desafio que me foi lançado, consistiu no projeto de um circuito eletrónico, com capacidade de abrir remotamente os equipamentos da empresa, através da tecnologia de comunicação LoRa. Para além do circuito, foi também definido como requisito, a criação de uma interface gráfica, onde o utilizador possa tirar partido da solução desenvolvida, em termos de hardware. Sendo assim, este relatório de estágio, descreve as várias fases do trabalho desenvolvido, nomeadamente, a definição dos requisitos do sistema, tanto a nível do hardware como do software/firmware, a apresentação do estudo realizado sobre a comunicação LoRa, incluindo o seu principio de funcionamento, as suas características, as suas mais-valias e limitações, bem como as principais áreas de aplicação e finalmente, a descrição mais detalhada da solução desenvolvida. Desta forma, pretende-se descrever, com o detalhe possível, todo o trabalho realizado ao longo de seis meses de estágio.
This document reports the work developed within the scope of the curricular internship which I attended during this school year. As the company is part of the Access Control business, the challenge that was set for me was the design of an electronic circuit, with the ability to remotely open the company’s equipment, through the LoRa communication protocol. In addition to the circuit, the creation of a graphical interface was also defined as a requirement, where the user can take advantage of the developed solution, in terms of hardware. Therefore, this internship report describes the various phases of the developed work, namely, the definition of the system requirements, both at the hardware and software/firmware level, the presentation of the study carried out on the LoRa communication, including its working principle, its characteristics, its strengths and limitations, as well as the main areas of application and finally, a more detailed description of the developed solution. Thus, it is intended to describe, with as much detail as possible, all the work carried out over the six months of the internship.

In recent years, semiconductor technology has been evolving very quickly. The channel lengths of semiconductor devices have been in the nanometer scale for a long time. The miniaturization of the semiconductor devices can indeed enhance the efficiency of an integrated circuit (IC). However, accompanying with the advances in IC technology are some important issues that remain to be coped with,such as signal integrity (SI) and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). During this study, I requested Huang-Chin Technology Inc. to fabricate Atmel 8-bit microcontroller test circuit boards for me and asked ATM Electronic Technology Inc. to write the relevant drivers for the microcontrollers in order to carry out EMC measurement. The clock signals generated by the test circuit board can be adjusted by changing the relevant parameters needed by the drivers. The signals radiated from the circuit board were measured using a transverse electromagnetic cell (TEM cell) and a near-field probe, and were simulated using an IC-EMC software tool developed by Institute National des Sciences Appliquees (INSA) in France. Since the fabricated hardware only functioned partially and since this is the last year (four years in total) allowed for my master program, measured and simulated results, which although had the same trend but seemingly did not agree with each other well enough, were separately presented without comparison.

Para este efeito, foi elaborado um módulo de pesagem possível de ser compar ável com os módulos anteriormente concebidos pela empresa e, consequentemente, testado e usado em condições semelhantes. A par do módulo, foi elaborado software, de modo a facilitar uma futura implementação do mesmo numa pesadora não combinatória e num calibrador hortofrutícola. Em simultâneo houve a tentativa de adicionar algum tipo de inovação ao material existente, integrando comunicações sem os e acrescentando possibilidades no campo da acessibilidade, tentando apresentar uma solução inovadora mas também normalizada, com métodos usados na indústria moderna
It is considered that the present thesis did not focus on a single problem, but rather on improving or reducing the cost of manufacturing of existing machines, already manufactured by the company MCM-eletronic solutions, with a view to designing a new one, with the material that was developed in partnership with the company. For this purpose, a weighing module has been developed which is comparable to previous modules designed by the company and, therefore, tested and used in similar circumstances. At the same time, there was an attempt to add some kind of innovation to the existing material, including wireless communications and adding possibilities in the eld of accessibility, trying to present an innovative but also standardized solution with methods used in modern industry

This thesis is based on the design and production of teaching kits with expansion modules which are based on the Atmel AVR microcontroller. Kit consists of a plate containing processes and basic power modules directly on the board and expansion modules "SIMAČ". "SIMAČ" modules are virtual elements that simulate the real elements and they are commonly used in industrial automation. Because of their cost they are integrated in extension kit as programmable modules. It also contains basic theoretical information about working with ATMEL AVR microcontrollers. Expansion modules with module development board and disc which will be loaded all the schemes, programs and technical documentation for individual districts will be attached to the thesis.
