Abstract:
Having an attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) child is certainly not easy in her care. Mother, as the most dominant figure in her parenting, certainly experienced psychological impact. This study aims to describe the experience of mothers who are parenting with ADHD related to their quality of life. This research is qualitative research with a Phenomenological approach. The study participants consisted of 5 mothers of children with ADHD aged 36-45 years. Data retrieval is done using semi-structured interviews. Data analysis using thematic analysis. The quality of life in mothers of children with ADHD can be described through 23 themes divided into four domains of quality of life: physical, psychological, social, and environmental. In the physical domain, parenting with ADHD affects daily activities that cause mothers to feel tired. In the psychological domain, the mother feels a variety of feelings from the beginning of the diagnosis to during parenting. In the social relation domain, parenting with ADHD affects maternal relationships. In the environment domain, some costs need to be incurred for the child. Mothers are also able to get new information and lessons during parenting with ADHD.

Abstract:
Socioeconomic status of person has an important role to child development. Social economy can affect physical health, mental wellbeing and cognitive development. One of the growing disorders of attention disorder and hyperactivity disorder was characterized by hyperactive, impulsive and lack of attention. The purpose of this study to determine the relationship of socioeconomic status of parents at risk of attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) to preschoolers in Klaten District. This study uses categorical comparative design with cross sectional approach. Respondents of this study were 84, that divided into two places, there were ABA TK Lor Sabrang Trucuk and TKIT Mutiara Hati so that every kindergarten 42 respondents obtained by purposive sampling. Data was collection by filling the instrument. Bivariate analysis using test Chi Square. The results showed the average age of respondents were 5.25 years. The sex of the respondents is mostly male as many as 47 children or 56.0%. Test results Chi square show there is a relationship of socio-economic status of parents with ADHD (p = 0.036) and there is a different between low socioeconomic status and high that lower socioeconomic status is a risk of ADHD (25,6%) compared with high socioeconomic status (6,7%). There is a negative relationship between socioeconomic status and the risk of attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder in pre-school age children.

Subjek bernama DK, (7 tahun/Lk) anak kedua dari 2 bersaudara. Saat ini Subjek bersekolah kelas satu SD di Karangploso. Subjek tinggal bersama ayah, ibu dan kakaknya yang berusia 22 tahun. Subjek seringkali berlari-lari di dalam kelas serta membuang dan melempar alat tulis yang ia miliki. Subjek sulit untuk fokus saat di berikan pelajaran di dalam kelas terutama pada mata pelajaran menulis dan membaca, namun pada saat pelajaran matematika Subjek cukup mampu dalam mengerjakan. Subjek tidak menyukai bermain bersama teman-temannya, ia lebih suka bermain sendiri, karena ia tidak ingin berbagi mainan yang ia miliki. Subjek seringkali merengek, menangis, mengguling-gulingkan badannya saat keinginannya tidak dipenuhi. Berdasarkan asesmen yang telah dilakukan, Subjek mengalami gangguan ADHD (Attention Deficit Hiperactivity Disorder). Intervensi yang dilakukan adalah play therapy menggunakan metode menyusun menara dengan hasil mampu meningkatkan konsentrasi pada anak ADHD.

It was proved by cross-correlational analysis of EEG of the cohort children of 3-11 years with attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), called minimal brain dysfunction (MDM). On the basis of comprehensive diagnostics, including - for the cross-correlation analysis of EEG computer (QEEG) in normal and ADHD construct therapeutic tactics in the treatment of children with this syndrome. Using QEEG data, the authors confirm the violations of interaction between structures of the cerebral cortex with ADHD compared to the norm, especially between the frontal and parietal-occipital region, as well as between the right parietal-occipital region with all the other departments of the cortex.

Pendahuluan : Attention Deficit Hiperactivity Disorder (ADHD) adalah sebutan untuk gangguan perilaku dengan gejala-gejala : gangguan pemusatan perhatian dan konsentrasi, impulsivitas dan hiperaktifitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran tingkat pengetahuan keluarga tentang Attention Deficit Hiperactivity Disorder (ADHD) di PAUD Kecamatan Denpasar Utara. Metode : Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan satu variable dan pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Teknik sampling yang digunakan yaitu multistage random sampling, meliputi : teknik cluster sampling didapatkan sampel sebanyak 23 PAUD kemudian teknik kedua adalah stratified random sampling didapatkan sampel sebanyak 280 responden. Hasil : Hasil penelitian dari 280 responden didapatkan 128 orang (42,2%) memiliki pengetahuan kurang tentang ADHD, pada indikator konsep dasar 131 orang (46,5%) memiliki pengetahuan baik, pada indikator deteksi dini 116 orang (41,1%) memiliki pengetahuan kurang dan pada indikator penanganan 114 orang (40,7%) memiliki pengetahuan kurang. Diskusi : Kesimpulan yang dapat diambil bahwa tingkat pengetahuan keluarga tentang ADHD masih sangat kurang, diharapkan hasil penelitian ini dapat sebagai masukan bagi bidang kesehatan untuk meningkatkan upaya-upaya berupa health education bagi keluarga yang memiliki anak usia dini mengenai ADHD agar dampak negative dari perilaku ADHD dapat dideteksi dan ditangani lebih dini. Kata kunci : pengetahuan, keluarga, ADHD ABSTRACT Introduction : Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a term for behavioral disorders with symptoms : attention and concentration disorders, impulsivity and hyperactivity. This study aims to determine the description of family knowledge level about Attention Deficit Hiperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in PAUD North Denpasar District. Methode : The design of this study used a descriptive quantitative research design with one variable and data collection using questionnaires. The sampling technique used is multistage random sampling, include: cluster sampling of obtained a sample of 23 early childhood then the second technique is stratified random sampling obtained a sample of 280 respondents. Results : The results of the 280 respondents obtained 128 votes (42.2%) have less knowledge about ADHD, the basic concept indicator 131 people (46.5%) had a good knowledge level, the early detection indicator 116 people (41.1%) have less knowledge level and on the handling indicator 114 people (40,7%) have less knowledge level. Discussion : The conclusion can be drawn that the level of knowledge of families who have young children about ADHD is still lacking, the expected results of this study can serve as input to the health sector in order to increase efforts in the form of health education for families who have early chilhood about ADHD so that expected negative impact of ADHD behavior can be detected and handled earlier. Abstract:
The purpose of this study is to describe the pragmatic development of ADHD childdren. Every child who was born, over time experiencing various development, such as motor development, cognitive development, emotional development, up to language development. Children who have Attention Deficit Hiperactivity Disorder (ADHD) have constraints in some of their development, one of them is pragmatic language development. This research utilizes neurolinguistics theory that explain about language and brain. The result that found in this study are ADHD children can’t survive in a conversation because their focus is easily broken, then they tends to make themselves as a center of a communication. ADHD children also have a difficult in formulating speech and tend to be impulsive and always in a hury. Brain disorder, although not in a language area, still affect the pragmatic language development of ADHD children. By knowing the problem about ADHD children’s pragmatic problem, we can knowing the solution for handle it.

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan dan membandingkan upaya yang dilakukan oleh guru dalam meningkatkan perkembangan sosial emosional anak dengan gangguan Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) di TK Laboratori Pedagogia UNY dan TK Islam Pelangi Anak Negeri Yogyakarta. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan oleh peneliti dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif-komparatif. Sedangkan, Sumber data dari penelitian ini adalah sumber data primer. Sumber data primer yaitu guru, terapis, dan psikolog. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, sedangkan teknik analisis data dilakukan melalui tiga tahapan yaitu reduksi, display, dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pertama, upaya guru dalam meningkatkan perkembangan sosial emosional anak ADHD yaitu TK Laboratori Pedagogia UNY melalui tiga tahapan yaitu observasi, intervensi dan penilaian. Sedangkan upaya guru di TK Islam pelangi Anak Negeri Yogyakarta cukup kompleks mulai dari mengobservasi anak, wawancara dengan orang tua, memberikan diagnosa dan Intervensi anak, serta penilaian. Kedua, Persamaan upaya guru dalam meningkatkan perkembangan sosial emosional anak ADHD di dua lokasi penelitian ini adalah sama-sama menggunakan intervensi dalam bentuk ekstingsi, kontak mata, stimulasi, pembiasaan, dan bermain. Sedangkan perbedaannya yaitu, di TK Laboratori Pedagogia UNY guru menggunakan intervensi dalam bentuk time out, perjanjian awal, stimulasi, dan pendekatan perilaku serta bantuan dari para terapis dengan instruksi dari psikolog. Berbeda halnya dengan TK Islam Pelangi Anak Negeri Yogyakarta yang menggunakan intervensi dalam bentuk satiasi, kontak fisik dan terapi okupasi dan wicara. Dikarenakan di TK ini tidak menggunakan psikolog dan terapis, maka guru di sini merangkap sebagai psikolog sekaligus terapis.

Este estudio ha tenido por finalidad determinar la prevalencia del Trastorno por Déficit de Atención con o sin Hiperactividad (TDAH) en la Comunidad Autónoma de Canarias, en la población de 6 a 12 años. Para ello, el muestreo utilizado fue polietápico estratificado y proporcional por conglomerados. Los estratos fueron el tipo de colegio, la y el nivel educativo, y los conglomerados fueron los colegios. A partir de una muestra de estudio de 118.467 alumnos escolarizados en centros ordinarios, se obtuvo una muestra al azar de 2.395 alumnos. Se utilizaron las escalas Attention-Deficit/Hiperactivity Disorder Rating Scales IV (ADHD RS-IV) modificadas para padres y maestros. Se encontró una tasa global de prevalencia del 4.9%, de los cuales el 3.1% fueron del subtipo inatento, el 1.1% hiperactivo, y el 0.7% combinado. Solo se encontraron diferencias significativas en función del sexo, donde la incidencia fue superior en varones. Las implicaciones educativas y socio sanitarias de los hallazgos encontrados nos sugieren la importancia de llevar a cabo una identificación, diagnóstico y tratamiento temprano, lo que ayudará a que los niños identificados con TDAH puedan desarrollar todo su potencial, y con ello una reducción importante del gasto público.
