Abstract:
Herein we report the formation of pyrrolines and tetrahydropyridines from the cyclisation reactions of β-amino allenes by both AuI and AgI catalysts in yields ranging from 5 to 70 %. AuI catalysts favour a 5-endo-dig cyclisation before rapid rearrangement to the 5-exo-dig product, while AgI favours a 6-endo-trig cyclisation. We also report the first known Ag2O catalysed cyclisation reaction of an allene which occurred in good yield (61 %).

Šiame darbe yra pristatoma modeliavimu grindžiama praplėtimo sąsaja, kurią siūloma vadinti aplikacijos modeliavimo sąsaja (angl. Application Modeling Interface, AMI). Modeliuotojai, naudodami siūlomą aplikacijos modeliavimo sąsają, gali kurti UML įrankių įskiepius juos modeliuodami pačių UML įrankių pagalba. Darbe taip pat nagrinėjamas aplikacijos modeliavimo sąsajos apibrėžimo ir realizavimo UML įrankiuose aspektai.

Abstract:
La découverte de complexes métalliques de carbènes N-hétérocycliques (CNH) et de CNHs stables et isolables, a soulevé un intérêt grandissant en chimie de coordination et en catalyse. Pour notre part, nous avons développé de nouveaux ligands bis-CNH fonctionalisés (amide ou alcool) multidentes. Les proligands (sels de bis(imidazolium) à pont flexible ou rigide) sont obtenus par des voies synthétiques courtes et modulables. Des complexes d'AuI, PdII et NiII ont été obtenus, par transmétallation de précurseurs d'AgI, ou par complexation directe des proligands en présence d'une base. L'oxydation chimique des complexes d'AuI a conduit aux complexes d'AuIII. Les complexes d'AuI et NiII ont été structuralement caractérisés par diffraction des RX et les propriétés électrochimiques et photophysiques des complexes d'AuI et d'AuIII ont été étudiées. Enfin, les complexes de NiII et PdII ont été évalués en réaction de couplage de Suzuki-Miyaura, montrant une activité modérée
Since the pioneer work on metal N-heterocyclic carbenes (NHCs) and the isolation of free thermally stable NHCs, intensive activity research has been focused on the organometallic chemistry of this class of ligands. In this context, we decided to design a new class of amide or alcohol-N-functionalised bis(NHC) ligands. Diimidazolium salt precursors linked together by flexible or rigid, were obtained following short and modular synthetic pathways. Gold(I), Gold(III), Palladium(II) and Nickel(II) complexes were prepared following the carbene-transfer route of silver(I) precursors or by direct metallation of azolium salts in the presence of a mild base. Gold(I) and Ni(II) complexes have been characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction analyses and the electrochemical and luminescence properties of the Au(I) and Au(III) compounds have been studied. Finally, the catalytic activities of Ni(II) and Pd(II) NHC complexes were evaluated in the Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling

Abstract:
Este trabalho tem o objetivo de estabelecer relações entre o modo de inserção dos parques públicos no tecido urbano, seus sistemas de percursos, uso do elemento vegetal, no período entre meados dos séculos XVIII e XIX, além dos instalados a partir dos anos 50 do segundo milênio, assim como, as ideologias correntes sobre o tema do desenho da paisagem na Europa, Estados Unidos e Brasil, descrevendo e comentando-os. Pesquisou-se a literatura abordando a origem e o desenvolvimento dos parques europeus e americanos, capazes de elucidar, de que maneira, as diversas concepções de parques públicos urbanos têm mudado durante o passar do tempo, a priori, influenciadas pelas características culturais e socioeconômicas das populações e, paralelamente, seus tipos de alocação na trama urbana. Primeiramente são objetos de análise as origens e oportunidades que propiciaram a realização dos parques dos séculos XVIll e XDC, e a relevância dos mesmos na estruturação da cidade. A descrição dos parques modernos no Brasil, seu programa público e monumental, que busca reconhecer a influência do movimento moderno e a sua presença entre nós, constituem o segundo aspecto. O terceiro item é o parque contemporâneo, mais especificamente a partir dos anos 80 do século XX. Compõem um quarto nível a análise compositiva do sistema de caminhos e a composição do elemento vegetal, adotada pelos recortes temporais, mencionados nesta dissertação. O problema da seleção e escolha do sítio físico objeto de intervenção, o programa de necessidades e as condicionantes sociopolíticas aicerram este estudo.
This project was set up with the aim of establishing relations between the insertion way of public parks in urban areas in the mid of eighteenth and nineteenth centuries., as well those buiit from the fifties of the second millennium, in addition to descriptions and comments on the current ideologies about the scenery design issue in Europe, United States and Brazii. The literature study shows the origin and development of European and American parks. And it is able to elucidate, partially, how the several conceptions of urban public parks have changed through times, prior, they are affected by the population culture and socioeconomic features and, at the same time, their sorts of allocation in the urban context. First of ali, it is analysed the origin and oportunities that propitieated the achievement of the eighteenth and nineteenth parks and their relevance in the city structure. The second aspect is the discription of modem parks in Brazil, especially, by Roberto Burle Man('s design, his public and monumental project that tries to recognize presence among us. The third aspect is the contemporary park, especifically those from the 80s of the twentieth century. The fourth levei consists of compositive anatysis of contemporary parks, the pedestrian way net and the greenery formatíon done by time cuts. Ali these are mentioned in this paper. This project is ended by the matter of selecting and choosing the site set for intervention, the necessity program and the soclopolitics círcumstances.

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá API a ABI kompatibilitou Java knihoven. Jsou popsány typy kompatibility a analyzovány změny API, které vedou k zdrojové či binárni nekompatibilitě. Dále je provedena analýza existujících nástrojů, které provádějí zjišťování nekompatibility. Vhodný nástroj z předchozí analýzy je vybrán a rozšířen. Na základě rozšířeného nástroje je vytvořena serverová aplikace, která poskytuje informace o kompatibilitě sledovaných knihoven.

Abstract Several device failures were experienced after they went through the board assembly process. The failure caused severe transmit pulse attenuation from circuit block called AUI (Attachment Unit Interface). The AUI serves as a medium independent communication port in Local Area Networks. After careful observation and a series of Failure Analysis processes, the malfunction, which caused severe transmit pulse attenuation was attributed to a defective metal 1 to metal 2 via. The via in question is a tie between a pair of cascoded PMOS transistors in the analog section of the chip. These transistors serve as the main biasing leg for the AUI current sink. Since the via in question was bake recoverable at temperatures as low as 175°C for 20 minutes but would show the same failure signature when operated under temperature, the exact failure location was difficult to pinpoint. After a lengthy analysis procedure, the malfunction was attributed to contamination due to Spin On Glass (SOG) outgassing.

The `0-sampling problem plays an important role in streaming graph algorithms. In this paper, we revisit a near-optimal `0-sampling algorithm, proposing a variant that allows proving a tighter upper bound for the probability of failure. We compare experimental results of both variants, providing empirical evidence of their applicability in real-case scenarios. The `0-sampling problem consists in sampling a nonzero coordinate from a dynamic vector a = (a1, . . . , an) with uniform probability. This vector is defined in a turnstile model, which consists of a stream of updates S = hs1, s2, . . . , sti on a (initially 0), where si = (ui, i) 2 { 1, . . . , n} ⇥ R for all 1  i  t, meaning an increment of i units to aui . It is desirable that such sample be produced in a single pass through the stream with sublinear space complexity. The challenge arises from the fact that, since i can be negative and hence some updates in the stream may cancel others, directly sampling the stream may lead to incorrect results.

Wir untersuchen Zinsprognosen aus Australien, China, Hongkong, Indien, Indonesien, Malaysia, Neuseeland, Singapur, Südkorea, Taiwan und Thailand. Wir werten 532 Prognosezeitreihen mit insgesamt 85.264 einzelnen Zins-prognosen aus. Wir nehmen einen Vergleich zur naiven Prognose vor und untersuchen die Prognosezeitreihen auf gegenwartsorientierte Verlaufsanpassungen. Außerdem verwenden wir den Vorzeichentest und den Test auf Unverzerrtheit. Die Ergebnisse fallen teilweise recht ernüchternd aus. 95,9% aller Prognosezeitreihen sind vom Phänomen der gegenwartsorientierten Verlaufsanpassung geprägt. 99,4% aller Prognosezeitreihen erweisen sich als verzerrt. Nur ein kleiner Teil der Prognosezeitreihen (3,6%) bildet die künftige Zinsentwicklung signifikant genauer ab als eine naive Prognose. Zum Teil fallen die Untersuchungsergebnisse jedoch auch überraschend positiv aus. Der Vorzeichentest offenbart, dass 48,3% aller Prognosezeitreihen die künftige Entwicklungsrichtung signifikant besser erfassen als eine Zufallsprognose.

Dieses Papier untersucht die Sinnhaftigkeit von Fine Wine als Alternatives Investment unter besonderer Berücksichtigung der Kosten eines Fine Wine Investments. Ist Fine Wine zur weiteren Diversifizierung und damit zur Verbesserung des Risikio-Return-Profils von global in Aktien und Anleihen investierenden Portfolios geeignet? Die Analyse erfolgt in einem ersten Schritt auf Indexbasis und in einem zweiten Schritt auf Basis von realen Investitions-möglichkeiten. Die Referenzwährungen sind der US-Dollar und der Euro. Für die Indexbetrachtung werden auf der Aktienseite der MSCI-World-Index und für die Anleihen der JPM-World-Government-Bond-Index verwendet. Bei den Daten für die Investition in Fine Wine liegt der Fokus auf dem Liv-ex-50-Index der im Jahre 1999 gegründeten Londoner Weinbörse Liv-ex. Bei der realen Investition werden für die Datenanalyse bei Aktien und Anleihen Indexfonds verwendet. Da es für die Investition in Fine Wine keinen Indexfonds gibt, wird der Liv-ex-50-Index inklusive aller Kosten einer realen Investition berechnet. Es werden verschiedene Portfoliozusammensetzungen verglichen. Zum einen wird ein Portfolio aus 50% Aktien und 50% Anleihen einem Portfolio aus 45% Aktien, 45% Anleihen und 10% Fine Wine gegenübergestellt. Zum an-deren wird ein Portfolio aus 25% Aktien und 75% Anleihen gegen ein Portfolio aus 20% Aktien, 70% Anleihen und 10% Fine Wine gemessen. Als Vergleichsmaßstab werden die annualisierte Rendite, die Standardabweichung sowie das Sharpe-Ratio der jeweiligen Portfolios berechnet. Die Ergebnisse für die genannten Zeiträume sind ernüchternd. Die Beimischung von Fine Wine führt auf Indexebene lediglich zu einer leichten Verbesserung der annualisierten Rendite aber zu einer markanten Erhöhung des Risi-kos. Bei der Betrachtung der realen Investition kommen die hohen Kosten eines Investments in Fine Wine zum Tragen. Die annualisierte Rendite ist im Vergleich zu den Portfolios ohne Beimischung von Fine Wine niedriger bei gleichzeitig höheren Risikowerten. Lediglich bei der Betrachtung auf Indexbasis in Euro kann bei einem Portfolio eine leichte Verbesserung der Sharpe-Ratio verzeichnet werden. Bei der Betrachtung nach Kosten führt in allen Fällen die Beimischung von Fine Wine zu einer Verschlechterung der Sharpe-Ratios.

Diese experimentelle Untersuchung wendet sich der Frage zu, ob positive und negative Affekte einen Einfluss auf das Diversifikationsverhalten haben. Dabei zeigt sich, dass nur ein kleiner Teil der Probanden dem Rationalkalkül folgt und stets das optimale Portfolio wählt. Ferner zeigt sich, dass die Stimmungs-lage der Wirtschaftssubjekte einen Einfluss auf ihre Portfolioentscheidungen und somit auch auf ihre Risikoexponierung hat. Das durchschnittliche Risiko der Portfolios – gemessen an der Standardabweichung der Renditen – fällt im Treatment „Neutral“ deutlich niedriger aus als im Treatment „Positiv“ und im Treatment „Negativ“.

Das Ziel der nachfolgenden Ausführungen ist, die Logik der Argumentation von Keynes im Licht der modernen verhaltensökonomischen Forschung zum individuellen Entscheidungsverhalten unter Berücksichtigung psychologischer Befunde zu systematischen Verzerrungen in der Wahrnehmung und Verarbeitung von Informationen, der (In-)Stabilität von Präferenzen im Zeitablauf sowie der normativen (Fehl-)Orientierung in Verhandlungssituationen zu rekonstruieren. Es wird zu diesem Zweck an Studien aus dem Bereich der empirischen Verhaltensforschung ebenso wie der experimentellen Ökonomik angeknüpft, um das aus Sicht der betroffenen Akteure – spieltheoretisch formuliert – aus dem Versailler Vertrag resultierende Negativsummenspiel zu plausibilisieren. Vor diesem Hintergrund erfolgt zunächst eine Darstellung der zentralen Einsichten und Implikationen des verhaltensökonomischen Ansatzes (Kapitel 2), wobei neben den Ursachen einer begrenzten Rationalität individuellen Entscheidungsverhaltens, der „verzerrenden“ Wirkung kognitiver Heuristiken und Illusionen sowie der Zeitinkonsistenz individueller Präferenzen auch auf die Bedeutung von Fairnessnormen und -einschätzungen für die Effizienz von Verhandlungsergebnissen näher eingegangen wird. Auf der Grundlage dieser allgemeinen Ausführungen zum Ansatz und zu den Ergebnissen der Verhaltensökonomik wird anschließend die von Keynes vorgelegte Analyse des Zustandekommens und der möglichen Folgen des Versailler Vertrages eingehend untersucht, um die vielfältigen Übereinstimmungen zwischen beiden Betrachtungsperspektiven herauszuarbeiten (Kapitel 3). Der Hinweis auf das Vorliegen von Präferenzinkonsistenzen, das Auftretens von sogenannten Ankereffekten, der Wirksamkeit von Stereotypen oder der Situationsgebundenheit des Verhaltens –um nur einige der von Keynes benannten Effekte zu nennen – lassen ihn als einen vergleichsweise „modernen Ökonomen“ er-scheinen.
