The work presents an overview of utilization of automobile transport. It has been established that the disposal of vehicles is their dismantling for spare parts. At the end of their useful lives, vehicles are valued as a source of spare parts and this has led to the creation of an industry for vehicle dismantling. The purpose of this study is to solve the problem with auto junk and increase discounts, the spread of the discount to new market segments, which will make the recycling program an effective tool to support the automotive industry and the economy of the country in the current conditi

Commercially pure titanium (CP-Ti) attracts a large number of attentions in biomedical, astronautical, and auto industrial areas due to its superior properties of good biocompatibility, excellent corrosion resistance, and high strength-to-weight ratio. Comparing with the conventional manufacturing processes (such as casting along with machining), laser additive manufacturing (LAM), mainly including selective laser sintering/melting (SLS/M) and laser engineered net shaping (LENS), has many advantages, such as complex shaped parts producing, more capability of shorter design-to-market time, ener

Abstract As globalization continues, manufacturing enterprises need to do mass customization with a short lead-time, to satisfy evolving market demands in different regions. One challenge of mass customization is to fulfill orders swiftly at an acceptable cost, meanwhile maintaining the service quality. To do this, the customer order decoupling point – CODP, where the value-adding activities take place, should be designed and adapted to the changing market demands. In this paper, we propose a Formulation-Exploration method to make decisions on CODP positioning and improve the supply chain to s

In order to reduce carbon emissions from the steelmaking process and achieve carbon neutrality, global steel companies are establishing their own medium to long-term strategies and implementation plans using competitive technological advantages held by each steel company. At this point, Hyundai Steel has formulated a product-oriented carbon-neutral strategy based on innovative processing that makes use of Hyundai Steel’s own strength. Based on our experience in electric arc furnace product manufacturing and blast furnace operation in an integrated steel mill, Hyundai Steel is driving the Hy3 (

Abstract Programming a well trajectory with a rotary steerable system (RSS) and drilling to a geometrical or geological target with minimal surface intervention, placing the directional driller into a supervisory role, is the vision to achieve in the downhole trajectory automation domain. Automation can be defined in five levels. Level 0 is manual drilling of well trajectories with mechanical tools such as pendulum assemblies and/or positive displacement motors. Level 1 of automation was introduced with deploying RSSs in the late 1990s. By developing downhole control modes to drill vertical, t

Safety, Performance and Reliability are normal expectations and therefore need a thorough evaluation of the specific service. The machine selection is based on positive experience in similar applications and cylinder performance. The cylinders are special pressure vessels, whose design and construction have to consider the extreme internal pressures and the process gas. The design must foresee all possible failur

Unlike the core-periphery literature, however, our analysis emphasizes that the various clusters of cores and integrated peripheries are not alike. In the case under study, the core has been systematically lagging behind the main transformations pioneered by its competitors.
