Tematem artykułu są autobiografie kopalne, które wykraczają poza ramy antropocentrycznego rozumienia pisma potraktowanego tutaj jako ichnoskamieniałość, ślad aktywności życiowej organizmów kopalnych. Nel primo Ottocento si nasceva ribelli, come afferma Giuseppe Ricciardi nella sua autobiografia Memorie di un ribelle, si ovunque, e la conseguenza di essere ribelli era carcere o esilio per chi era più fortunato. Il saggio mette a fuoco le figure di giovani ribelli, alcuni carbonari, altri affiliati alla ‘Giovine Italia’, altri ancora ‘cospiratori indipendenti’, che nel ‘primo Risorgimento’ diedero l’importante contributo alla lotta per l’indipendenza e per l’identità nazionale. Janusz Korczak doceniał dziecięce biografie, publikował je na łamach redagowanego przez siebie pisma „Mały Przegląd”. Z dzisiejszego punktu widzenia niektóre z tych dzienników/wspomnień absolutnie nie powinny zostać opublikowane. Naruszały one prywatność dzieci, zarówno twórców pamiętników, jak i opisywanych przez nich kolegów. Warto w kontekście publikacji w „Małym Przeglądzie” zastanowić się, na ile słowa Korczaka o „prawie do milczenia” i „szacunku dla dziecięcych sekretów” były przez niego samego przestrzegane. Eine Jugend (1992) von Ruth Klüger und der Roman von Imre Kertész Roman eines Schicksallosen (1996) verweisen nicht nur auf ein breites Spektrum literarischer Auseinandersetzungen mit der Shoah, mit ihnen steht auch die Verbindung von Nachträglichkeit und Neubeginn zur Disposition. Zwei Textelemente werden hierbei von Bedeutung sein, die »Gespenster« (Klüger) und die »Schritte« (Kertész). Im Rekurs auf diese spezifischen Ausdrucksformen subjektiven Erinnerns wird eine Textbewegung des Festhaltens und Fortschreitens beschreibbar.
