Abstract:
Sammanfattning Examensarbetets syfte är att ge en övergripande bild om vad BIM egentligen är och hur arbetsmetoden ska kunna påverka byggprocessen positivt. Rapporten fokuserar på anläggningsbranschen och då främst från en projektörs perspektiv. Ett projekteringsexempel visar även på hur en anläggningsmodell kan skapas med hjälp av en programvara som stödjer arbetsflöden i BIM. BIM kan utläsas Building Information Model och avser då den eller de modeller som utgör en digital objektbaserad representation av en byggnad eller en anläggning. BIM kan även utläsas Building Information Modeling och avser då ett arbetssätt, d.v.s. processen att skapa och använda en eller flera byggnadsinformationsmodeller i bygg- eller anläggningsprocessen. Det finns många fördelar med att använda BIM, inte bara i husbyggnad utan även i anläggningsbranschen. Främst så skulle samordningen bli betydligt enklare och av bättre kvalitet. Med hjälp av en samordningsmodell är det till exempel möjligt att utföra kollisionskontroller för att upptäcka konflikter mellan olika teknikområden. I en komplett modell finns det även underlag som entreprenören direkt kan använda för t.ex. maskinstyrning. Anläggningsmodellen skapades i Autodesk Civil 3D med tilläggsprogrammet Naviate Road. Jag startade med att först upprätta en terrängmodell över den befintliga marken. Därefter utformade jag vägens linjeföring, profil och normalsektion som tillsammans bildar en vägkorridor. Terrängmodellen och vägkorridoren utgör en 3D-modell där olika konstruktionsalternativ kan utvärderas. Ett problem i anläggningsbranschen är att det allt för ofta saknas efterfrågan på BIM från beställare. Att upprätta BIM-modellerna kan medföra högre projekteringskostnader och tyvärr ser vissa beställare inte nyttan med dessa modeller. Om beställaren istället satsar mer pengar på en väl upprättad modell så kan kostnaderna bli mindre i produktionen och förvaltningen. Kunskapen om att underhålla BIM-modellen behöver bli i förvaltningsskedet. Om modellen underhålls och används på rätt sätt så är det en utmärkt informationsbas, inte minst som underlag för framtida ändringar.
Abstract The purpose of this thesis is to give an overall picture of what BIM is and how the method of working can influence the building process positively. The report focuses on the road construction industry, primarily from a projector's perspective. A design example will also show how a model can be created by using software that supports workflows in BIM. BIM can be abbreviation for BuildingInformationModel, for this case it refers to the model or models and is a digital object-based representation of a building or facility. It can also be abbreviation for BuildingInformationModeling, it then refers to a way of working, i.e. process of creating and using one or several building information models in the construction or facility process. By using BIM there are many benefits, not only in the house construction but also in the road construction industry. The coordination would be considerably easier and of better quality. With the help of a coordination model it would for example possible to perform collisions checks to detect conflict between different technologies. In a complete model there is also material that the entrepreneur can use for e.g. machine control. The model is created in Autodesk Civil 3D with the add Naviate Road. I started by first establishing a terrain model over the existing ground. After that I designed an alignment, a profile and a normal section of the road, which together form a road corridor. The terrain model and the road corridor constitute a 3D model where different design options can be evaluated. The often missing demands for BIM from clients are a problem. Establishing BIM models can result in higher project costs and unfortunately some clients cannot see the benefits of these models.  If the client instead would invest more money in a well-established model, costs can be reduced in the production and the management which would lead to decreased in total cost. The knowledge to maintain the BIM model needs to be improved in the management stage. If the model is maintained and used properly, it is an excellent information base, not least as material for future changes.

Abstract:
Denna rapport redovisar mitt examensarbete som gick ut på att jämföra två konkurrerande programvaror som används av vägprojektörer. De två jämförda är Novapoint Väg Prof och AutoCAD Civil 3D. Detta gjordes genom att projekteringen av ett av Tyréns avslutade uppdrag återskapades. På så sätt kunde deras funktioner utforskas och jämföras. Båda visade sig ha många likheter men även en hel del olikheter, t ex var Novapoint mer användbart vid projektering på obebyggdmark. Civil 3D var däremot att föredra vid ombyggnationer. Till slut blev ändå Novapoint den rekommenderade eftersom arbetet skulle vara inriktat på projektering av nya vägar. Till sist ges några kommentarer på de relaterade kurserna på min utbildning.
This report sets out my thesis work that was to compare two rival softwares used by road designers. The two compared is Novapoint Road Prof and AutoCAD Civil 3D. This was done by redoing one of Tyréns´s ended. In this way, their functions could be explored and compared. Both proved to have many similarities but also a lot of differences, for example, Novapoint were more useful during the design of roads on unexploited ground. Civil 3D was preferable at rebuilding of current roads. In the end, however, Novapoint became the recommended because the work would be focused on the design of new roads. Finally, some comments were given on the related courses on my training.

Abstract:

This Degree project summarizes how it is to work in the CAD program Revit Architecture. This was done because AQ Arkitekter in Eskilstuna is interested in how Revit works. Especially compared to AutoCad which is the software they are using today. Will their work become more efficient with the new software?

The starting point was to find out how it is to work with Revit when you only used AutoCAD Architecture before. The purpose with this Degree project was to investigate whether it was possible to provide all the drawings required in a construction project that AQ Arkitekter normally produce in AutoCAD.

Most of the study was done on my own with some help of outside contacts. Drawings from an already completed construction projects were produced in Revit to really see if it was possible to obtain the required drawings. The final results were a summary of the Revit features and how to generate drawings. The two programs were compared to see the disadvantages and advantages of the programs. In the end, the Degree project did become a complete report, which gives an overview of Revit and its functions.

Abstract:
O presente trabalho teve por objetivo desenvolver um programa computacional, denominado CADDHIL, para auxílio no desenho, simulação e dimensionamento de projetos de irrigação localizada em ambiente gráfico do AutoCAD. Foram utilizadas as linguagens de programação Auto Lisp e Delphi na criação do programa, que permite o desenho, procedimentos de cálculos automáticos e simulações de várias situações durante a fase de projeto. O programa permite a seleção do tipo de emissor, gotejador ou microaspersor, cálculo da lâmina de água a aplicar na cultura, dimensionamento da tubulação lateral, de derivação e principal. No dimensionamento da tubulação lateral foram propostos dois métodos, o trecho a trecho e o hidráulico. No dimensionamento da tubulação de derivação foi utilizado o método da divisão em trechos. No dimensionamento da tubulação principal foi utilizado o método econômico do custo anual total simplificado. Os dados do projeto de irrigação são armazenados em um banco de dados que podem ser acessados posteriormente. O programa apresenta ainda, tabelas auxiliares com dados de coeficientes de rugosidade, diâmetros de tubulações e ferramentas para cálculos hidráulicos, normalmente utilizados em projetos de irrigação localizada.
The main objective of this work was to develop a software, denominated CADDHIL, to support drawing, simulation and design of localized irrigation projects with AutoCAD program. Auto Lisp and Delphi languages were used in the program construction, that allows the drawing, automatic calculations procedures and simulations for several situations in the project stage. The program allows the selection and calculation the emitter type, drip emitter or spray emitter, depth of water to be delivery to irrigation crop, design of lateral, manifold and main pipeline. In lateral pipeline design two methods were proposed: the step by step and the hydraulic one. In the manifold pipeline design, the section method was used. In the main pipeline design the economic method of the simplified total annual cost was used. The data of the irrigation project are saved in a database that can be accessed at any moment. The software presents auxiliary tables with data of friction coefficients, inside diameters and tools for hydraulic calculations, usually used in projects of localized irrigation.

Šio darbo tikslas yra išanalizuoti ir suprojektuoti linijų tipų, brūkšniavimų ir formų kūrimo priemones ir suprojektuoti ir sukurti šiuolaikinę linijų tipų, brūkšniavimų ir formų kūrimo priemonę.
Analysis and realization of tools for creating linetypes, hatch patterns and shapes for AutoCAD system are considered in this paper. AutoCAD users are not satisfied of the tools suggested by AutoCAD. The specific knowledge of creating files of linetypes, hatch patterns and shapes is required and there is not any application or add-in for AutoCAD for creating these objects in visual manner in one. Purpose of this paper is to design and create an application what would create linetypes, hatch patterns and shapes for AutoCAD system in visual manner.

Es por ello, que iniciamos un estudio de todos los aspectos que intervinieron en la introducción del ordenador en la nueva didáctica del dibujo técnico, haciendo hincapié en la aplicación de esta Nueva Tecnología Didáctica en la actual impartición del Dibujo Técnico del Curso de Orientación Universitaria y del futuro Dibujo Técnico de 2º de Bachillerato que la LOGSE nos propone. De ella se derivan los siguientes objetivos de investigación: ¿ Diferenciar nuestra Didáctica del Dibujo Técnico de las utilizadas corrientemente. ¿ Acotar los fundamentos clave de esta Didáctica, independientes del nivel al que se aplica. ¿ Concretar la estrategia pedagógica a llevar a cabo en el nivel de Secundaria. Los avances informáticos se suceden tan vertiginosamente que es muy difícil estar al día. Abstract:
La presente tesis tiene por finalidad verificar las condiciones de seguridad en el diseño de curvas horizontales de vía utilizando esta herramienta de vanguardia de Autodesk: Vehicle Tracking y AutoCAD Civil 3D versión 2015 en la cual se ha utilizado los parámetros de la norma peruana vigente (DG-2013) publicada por el MTC (Ministerio de Transportes y Comunicaciones). Este software nos permite simular las maniobras de giro de vehículos en proyectos de ingeniería civil y de transporte. Esencial para un diseño preciso y rentable de intersecciones, glorietas, terminales de transporte y áreas de carga y descarga, es un activo para cualquier proyecto que involucre el diseño de accesos de vehículos, gálibos (Marca o luces que señala las dimensiones máximas permitidas a un vehículo para el paso por un túnel o un puente) y maniobrabilidad. Para la explicación de esta tesis se han elegido tres casos para las simulaciones uno de ellos consta parte del proyecto ejecutado del Plan Binacional de Desarrollo de la Región Fronteriza Perú – Ecuador cuya ejecución fue prevista en un periodo de 12 años (2000-2009). Entre estos destacan cinco ejes viales binacionales que tienen por objetivos conformar una red de conexión de la zona fronteriza común en este caso se ha elegido el mejoramiento y Rehabilitación de la carretera Sullana – El Alamor eje vial N°02 de la interconexión vial Perú – Ecuador. El siguiente caso se refiere al Ovalo Gutiérrez también conocido como rotonda, glorieta o redondela es una intersección de carreteras (rutas), avenidas o calles que se confluyen están conectadas entre sí mediante un anillo. Estas minimizan el riesgo de accidente ya que fuerzan a reducir la velocidad El tercer caso se refiere a las intersecciones urbanas ofrecen un potencial de investigación en diseño geométrico de vías. En los últimos años, la demanda vial ha crecido por el aumento del número de vehículos automotores, se puede decir que la oferta es bastante inferior a la demanda de tránsito. Esto ha traído como consecuencia incrementos en la congestión, demoras, accidentes y problemas ambientales, bastante mayores que los considerados aceptables. Contamos con la capacidad, la topografía, los conocimientos, las condiciones de mejorar la vida de la malla vial y también con la necesidad de disponer de un instrumento idóneo para afrontar la solución de la actual problemática. Finalmente como aporte de la tesis verificaremos si los sobreanchos según la norma peruana. Si bien es cierto que la velocidad de diseño que es la máx. velocidad que se puede tomar para permitir garantizar seguridad y comodidad el cual va directamente relacionado con el cálculo y elección del radio mínimo utilizando la tabla 302.02 de la DG-2013.(Ministerio de Transportes y. , Agosto, 2014)

Esencial para un diseño preciso y rentable de intersecciones, glorietas, terminales de transporte y áreas de carga y descarga, es un activo para cualquier proyecto que involucre el diseño de accesos de vehículos, gálibos (Marca o luces que señala las dimensiones máximas permitidas a un vehículo para el paso por un túnel o un puente) y maniobrabilidad. Para la explicación de esta tesis se han elegido tres casos para las simulaciones uno de ellos consta parte del proyecto ejecutado del Plan Binacional de Desarrollo de la Región Fronteriza Perú – Ecuador cuya ejecución fue prevista en un periodo de 12 años (2000-2009). Entre estos destacan cinco ejes viales binacionales que tienen por objetivos conformar una red de conexión de la zona fronteriza común en este caso se ha elegido el mejoramiento y Rehabilitación de la carretera Sullana – El Alamor eje vial N°02 de la interconexión vial Perú – Ecuador. El siguiente caso se refiere al Ovalo Gutiérrez también conocido como rotonda, glorieta o redondela es una intersección de carreteras (rutas), avenidas o calles que se confluyen están conectadas entre sí mediante un anillo. Estas minimizan el riesgo de accidente ya que fuerzan a reducir la velocidad El tercer caso se refiere a las intersecciones urbanas ofrecen un potencial de investigación en diseño geométrico de vías. En los últimos años, la demanda vial ha crecido por el aumento del número de vehículos automotores, se puede decir que la oferta es bastante inferior a la demanda de tránsito. Esto ha traído como consecuencia incrementos en la congestión, demoras, accidentes y problemas ambientales, bastante mayores que los considerados aceptables. Contamos con la capacidad, la topografía, los conocimientos, las condiciones de mejorar la vida de la malla vial y también con la necesidad de disponer de un instrumento idóneo para afrontar la solución de la actual problemática. Finalmente como aporte de la tesis verificaremos si los sobreanchos según la norma peruana. Si bien es cierto que la velocidad de diseño que es la máx. velocidad que se puede tomar para permitir garantizar seguridad y comodidad el cual va directamente relacionado con el cálculo y elección del radio mínimo utilizando la tabla 302.02 de la DG-2013.(Ministerio de Transportes y. , Agosto, 2014)

This work deals with the analysis of soil-structure interaction modeling of pipeline problems in static behavior using the coupling between Finite Element Method (FEM) and Boundary Element Method (BEM).The representation of the pipe is made by MEF using two finite elements in the cylindrical panel: The first, formulated from the classical theory of cylindrical shells by assumptions of Donnel and initially proposed by Djoudi & Bahai, using the Assumed Strain Based Model. The second formulated from the theory of equivalent discrete layers (Layerwise Theory), proposed by J. N. Reddy. The soil is represented by elastic continum infinite or semi-infinite and modeled using boundary elements with special curved surface, associated with cylindrical panel, used to represent the soil-structure interaction within the soil, especially at the contact surface with the pipe. Besides the mathematical representation of the model, this work propose a library DLL (Dynamic Link Library) written using the object-oriented programming (OOP) for processing soil structure interaction problems and a user-friendly environment built using the ObjectARX library for customizing AutoCAD.
Neste trabalho aborda-se a análise da interação solo-estrutura para modelagem de problemas de dutos em regime estático através do acoplamento entre o método dos Elementos Finitos (MEF) e o método dos elementos de contorno (MEC). A representação do duto homogêneo ou laminado é feita pelo MEF utilizando-se dois elementos finitos na forma de um painel cilíndrico: O primeiro foi desenvolvido a partir do modelo isotrópico homogêneo proposto inicialmente por Djoudi e Bahai, que utiliza a filosofia do modelo de deformações assumidas (Assumed Strain Based Model). O segundo foi proposto por Reddy e é baseado na teoria de camadas equivalentes discretas (Layerwise Theory). O solo é admitido ser um contínuo elástico infinito ou semi-infinito e modelado pelo MEC onde elementos de contorno especiais são propostos com superfície curva ou bordos curvos para representar a interação solo-estrutura principalmente nas superfícies de contato com o duto. STARKA Betongelement AB är ett privatägt företag med fokus på att tillverka prefabricerade betongelement. STARKA jobbar allt från projektering, tillverkning och montering av betongelement. Den process som framförallt studeras är deras projekteringsprocess, här planeras de olika elementen som ska tillverkas samt monteras. För tillverkningen samt montagen framställs ritningar som underlag för detta arbete, dessa ritningar består av detaljritningar. Framställningen av dessa detaljeringar är i dagsläget en tidskrävande process, därav är syftet av arbetet att kunna utveckla en effektivare arbetsmetod som kan både underlätta för konstruktörer samt minska den krävande arbetstiden. Under arbetet följs Design thinking processen som metod vid framtagning av lösningskonceptet. Metoden består av fyra grundläggande faser, med start att skapa förståelse för det problem som antagits. Vidare studeras området kring de problemet, genom olika litteraturstudier, observationer, intervjuer samt olika tester. Efter att ha format en bra grund, skapas olika idéer för hur problemet ska lösas. Slutligen implementeras det slutliga lösningskonceptet på verksamheten samt utvärderas. Resultat består av ett AutoLISP-program som samlar alla nödvändiga funktioner under ett program, för framtagning av detaljritningar till produktionen. De funktioner som förekommer i programmet är följande: måttsättning av detaljer, godsmåttsättning, snittlinje, armeringstext samt hitsymbol. Funktioner och dess specifikationer som används i programmet har identifierats genom intervjuer och observationer med konstruktörerna på STARKA. För montageritningar har två olika lösningar utvecklats, där den första angriper problemet som konstruktörer har vid framtagning av komplicerade detaljer. Detta uppnås genom att utnyttja konstruktionens 3D-modell för att generera de eftersträvade detaljritningar. Den andra lösningen har sitt fokus på att generalisera olika standarddetaljer samt eliminera överflödig information, så som yttermått. Detta skapar i sin tur en bättre förutsättning för fler generella detaljer som kan återanvändas i nya ritningar för att bespara arbetstid. Som slutsats för produktionsritningar, underlättas arbetet genom att programmet samlar alla nödvändiga funktioner. Eftersom funktionerna har sina förinsatta specifikationer, uppstår inget behov att konfigurera de i efterhand och insättningen blir korrekt från första steget. Konstruktörerna har funnit lösningen hjälpsam samt har förenklat deras arbete genom att effektivisera handpåläggning och korta ned arbetstid. Gällande montageritningar, anses användningen av 3D-modeller vara väldigt krävande för datorer, men ett bra hjälpmedel vid komplicerade detaljer. För de vanliga detaljerna underlättar det att kunna använda generaliserade standarddetaljer för att slippa skapa och redigera nya till varje projekt.
STARKA Betongelement AB is a privately owned company with a focus on manufacturing prefabricated concrete elements. STARKA works with everything from design, manufacturing to the assembly of concrete elements. The process that is mainly studied is their design process, here the different elements are planned to be manufactured and assembled. For the manufacture and assembly, drawings are produced as a basis for this work, these drawings consist of detailed drawings. The creation of these details is currently a time-consuming process; hence, this study aims to develop a more efficient working method that can both make it easier for designers and reduce demanding working hours. During the work, the design thinking process is followed as a method when developing the solution. The method consists of four primary phases, starting with understanding the problem that has been given. Furthermore, the area of the problem is studied, through various literature studies, observations, interviews and various tests. After forming a good foundation, different ideas are created to solve the problem. Finally, the final solution is implemented at the company and the implementation was evaluated. Results consist of an AutoLISP-program that consists of all the necessary functions under one program, to create the detailed drawings for production. The functions that appear in the program are as follows: measurement of details, in-cast goods measurement, cut line, reinforcement text and “hitsymbol”. Features and their specifications used in the program have been identified through interviews and observations with the engineers at STARKA. For assembly drawings, two different solutions have been developed, the first of which tackles engineers' problems in creating complicated details. This is achieved by utilizing the construction’s 3D-model to create the desired detailed drawings. The second solution focuses on generalizing different standard parts and eliminating excess information, such as external dimensions. This in turn creates a better prerequisite for more general details that can be reused in new drawings to save working time. s a conclusion for production drawings, the work is facilitated by the program consist of all the necessary functions. Since the features have their pre-inserted specifications, there is no need to configure them afterwards and the insertion becomes correct from the first step. The designers have found the solution helpful and have simplified their work by making “handpåläggning” more efficient and reducing working hours. “Handpåläggning” consist of the functions and methods that the engineers at STARKA use to finalize the drawings. Regarding assembly drawings, the use of 3D-models is considered to be very demanding on computers, but good assistance in complicated details. The standard details make it easier to use standard generalized details to avoid creating and editing new ones for each project.

Examensarbetet är utfört hos YIT Sverige AB som är ledande i Sverige inom installation och service av fastighetstekniska tjänster. YIT erbjuder sina tjänster även i Baltikum, Ryssland och Centraleuropa. YIT erbjöd oss att uppdatera och slutföra en planritning och ett huvudlinjeschema över en byggnad. De ritningar som fanns sedan innan var flera decennier gamla och inte kompletta, detta eftersom fastigheten genomgått flera ombyggnader, där flera centraler och canalis kanalskenor inte var utmärkta. Det fattades även flera lokaler utmärkta i ritningarna. Arbetet har utförts som planerat och bidragit till att kunden mottagit ritningar som erhåller en ny och uppdaterad standard. Att jämföra med den standard ritningarna höll innan arbetet går det nu att utföra underhåll med hjälp av ritningarna på ett snabbare och effektivare sätt.

The purpose of the thesis was to map the hydraulic load on the Knivsta river from stormwater runoff, and build a platform for further studies of pollution loads on the rivers ecosystems. New residential areas are planned to be built in Knivsta municipality and it will have an impact on stormwater flows to Knivsta river. To examine the impact this will have, simulations were made in the area as it stands today and after expansion work. The work includes calculation of flows from the populated areas but also from the catchment area around it consisting of woodlands and fields. Because of expected climatic changes which may affect rainfall, the simulations have been performed with different return periods for rainfall data. Return periods of 1, 2, 10 and 50 years were chosen to get a result that reflects the current situation but also a possible climate change that would give rise to much greater rainfall.Simulation results showed that stormwater runoff would increase by 11 percent if new residential areas were built in the drainage area. Return times of rain had profound implications for the amount of runoff. A 50-year rainfall generated 7.6 times as much stormwater runoff for 1 hour as a 1-year rainfall and the amount of flooded water increased significantly as more and more pipes were flooded.In the simulations no consideration was taken to water already present in the system, only to water which is supplied through the storm water runoff. To get a better picture of flood risk and flows in the pipe system, additional analyses of flows and cross-sectional area of Knivsta river and flowing ditches are required. An analysis of the pipeline system in the detailed plans for the new areas should be done when these plans are available. Without these detailed plans, it is difficult to determine how the newly built areas will affect the pipes and ditches in the vicinity that the water must pass on the way to the recipient.

The thesis is analyzing spillway concrete gravitation dam (SCGD) on the ground substructure, spillway design automation, calculations of stresses under spillway and spillway stability. This work supposes two CAD programs – AutoCad and MathCad - to automate spillway design. Manually mould and draw the spillway profile take a lot of time. Spillway is the main part of the SCGD, so it must be done high precision. There are all automate stages of spillway profile in this article. All automate stages are programming in MathCad program. All results from MathCad program are transporting to AutoCad program. All results are transporting with help of AutoLISP.AutoCad program can draw spillway profile, set its area, center of gravity. All these parameters are using to calculate the stability of spillway. The thesis consist of 4 chapters, conclusions and references. It covers 50 pages without appendixes, 5 tables and 22 pictures are included. Number of references – 25. There are 3 appendixes in the end of thesis.

The aim of the thesis is processing of project doccumentation for execution of mixed use building. The building will be situated in Bystřice nad Pernštejnem, in the Lužánky street.The building will be divided into two doctor´s surgeries, offices and three dwelling units. The building is designed as a detached house without cellar and with three above ground floors. Residential part consists of three dwelling units 2+kk, 3+kk and 4+1. Part of the residential unit is also a space for storage of bicycles in the first floor. Non residential space contatins a place for doctor´s surgeries and administrative part consists of offices, conference rooms, storages and toilets. Main enterances to the building are located in the fist above floor. There are 22 parking places and 2 parking places for the handicapped people. The building is based on concrete strip foundation. External loadbearing structures are from clay masonry. Floor structure is made of prestressed concrete floor slab. There is a warm flat roof, there arecast-in-place reinforced concrete staircase. While the elaboration I placed a great emphasis on a propriate layout design, technical and architectural design and a safe using of the bulidng. Drawing is done in AutoCAD programme.

The assignment is to compare two different PLC development tools and determine how a transition toa new PLC development tool would be. The programs that will be compared is the current toolAutoCAD with the extension ACG and CoDeSys.

A transition from AutoCAD to CoDeSys is realizable but will take considerable time and effort. Theeasiest way to achieve this is to during the transition generate an export file from the existing drawingsin AutoCAD which then can be imported to CoDeSys. By this CoDeSys can be used as a platform fordeveloping. This is fully realizable because ACG which generates the C code can be modified togenerate almost any export file.

Detta examensarbete är utfört åt YIT Sverige AB som önskade hjälp med att dokumentera byggnader i kvarteret Sliparen på Butängen i Norrköping. Det fanns tidigare inga ritningar på byggnaderna som var användbara. Byggnaderna är relativt gamla och det är många rum som användes som förråd. Arbetet resulterade i uppdaterade ritningar inklusive ett huvudledningsschema över elanläggningen. Denna dokumentation kommer vara till stor nytta för andra personal som ska arbeta på platsen. Med korrekt och uppdaterad dokumentation kommer deras arbete i kvarteret underlättas betydligt. Därutöver gjordes även en mindre elsäkerhetsutredning för byggnaderna. Ett antal brister i elanläggningen noterades vid besök i byggnaderna. De olika elansvaren har utretts också.

"Nowadays, many companies in the Architecture/Engineering/Construction (AEC) industry are using Building Information Modeling (BIM) in achieving a faster, sustainable and more economic project. Among the new developed concepts and BIM applications, two of the concepts most frequently used with the support of BIM technology in the planning, organization and scheduling of projects are 4D and 5D in which a 3D model is tied to its time execution (4D) at any point in time and its corresponding cost (5D). However, most of these applications concentrate on modeling the building but it does not include a corresponding modeling of the site in which the building is located. To date, there are few studies and systematic implementation of the site and the building integrated into one BIM model. This site-building integrated model can also be conceptualized as ¡°6D BIM¡± model. The benefit of integrating the site and building together into one model is that the building is no longer treated in isolation of its surround site but incorporates extremely helpful short-term and long-term information for the owner, designer, and builder regarding site topography, landscaping, access roads, ground conditions and the location of site utilities. Major existing research and technology issues that are preventing this site-building integration deal with functionality and interoperability of the BIM software, different orientation and coordination of building model and site model. The objectives of this thesis are to explore current organizational and technological issues preventing this integration, to investigate a feasible method to create a site-linked BIM model, and to discuss the benefits and limitations of bringing BIM concept to the site conditions. The research has been conducted by an extensive review on the literature related to the topic of interest published primarily by AEC. A review on current applications of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) has also been included because of the wider context provided by this technology to the specific topic of this research. Related BIM software developed by three different vendors ¡ªhas been discussed and compared to determine the level of feasibility and operational features of technological support necessary to implement the site-linked BIM model. A case study based on the design and construction of the WPI Recreational & Sports Center, currently under construction, was developed to explore and understand the details that are involved in creating a new site model and to link it with the existing 3D building model. What has been learned from the analysis of this case study is presented, discussed and analyzed in terms of benefits and limitations. Recommendations for future extensions from both the research aspect and the technology support aspect finally presented. These include the creation of 3D BIM Campus Map, which is one site model with several building models placed on it to facilitate future planning of new building and/or maintenance and operation of the current buildings and campus infrastructure.   "

More and more companies within the building sector are using BIM (Building Information Model). This degree project has the increased use of BIM as a background, but the work is mainly focused on possibilities and limitations specifically for the work with 3D (three-dimensional drawings). The purpose of this study is to compare the work and costs in practice when working with drawings in 2D or 3D. In addition to a literature study, drawings from a particular building are compared, where the original 2D drawings are converted into 3D. Investigations using interviews and questionnaires have been made including several different companies where the respondents have different professions. The answers were really useful, and the results are mainly based on these answers. Conducting all investigations and compiling all the answers gave a balanced picture mainly regarding the work with 3D in practice. One important result is that one should distinguish between BIM and 3D, where BIM is equivalent to a work approach that is recommended primarily for larger projects where you have the possibility to save large sums of money. The advantages and disadvantages between 2D and 3D drawings depends on how you are as a person and how much experience you have with the different software. Moreover, there is no exact figure that explains the economic gain or loss specifically by using 2D or 3D. Results and experiences of this work, however, suggests that in the fairly near future only 3D will be used.

AutoCAD, Zemax Optic Studio 15, and Interactive Data Language (IDL) with the Proper Library are used to computationally model and test a diffractive mask (DiM) suitable for use in the Gemini Multi-Conjugate Adaptive Optics System (GeMS) on the Gemini South Telescope. Systematic errors in telescope imagery are produced when the light travels through the adaptive optics system of the telescope. DiM is a transparent, flat optic with a pattern of miniscule dots lithographically applied to it. It is added ahead of the adaptive optics system in the telescope in order to produce diffraction spots that will encode systematic errors in the optics after it. Once these errors are encoded, they can be corrected for. DiM will allow for more accurate measurements in astrometry and thus improve exoplanet detection. The mechanics and physical attributes of the DiM are modeled in AutoCAD. Zemax models the ray propagation of point sources of light through the telescope. IDL and Proper simulate the wavefront and image results of the telescope. Aberrations are added to the Zemax and IDL models to test how the diffraction spots from the DiM change in the final images. Based on the Zemax and IDL results, the diffraction spots are able to encode the systematic aberrations.

The wounds measurement is an important factor in the evaluation healing because it provides parameters that indicate the progress of wound healing. The objective is to compare the area measured of venous ulcers through AutoCAD® and Image Tool software. The assessment of wound measurement methods is constituted as a gap in the knowledge produced by Brazilian nursing and as one of the fundamental aspects of the wounds evaluation. It is an evaluative analysis of reproducibility tests with a quantitative approach. The study included patients with venous ulcers treated at an outpatient clinic during the data collection period (March-July 2015), higher the age of 18 years with cognitive and verbal skills preserved, which had ulcers covering one side of the lower limb (n=21). For the data collection procedure, nurses that participated of the Skin Injury Study Group were contributors of research, being called evaluators. Each patient had his ulcer photographed by the researcher and by an evaluator with Cam Fujufilm Finepix S 14 Mega pixels. The photographs were transferred to the personal researcher's notebook, both the evaluator and the researcher carried out the measurements of the two photographs, with the two softwares. For the analysis of data mean and standard error, Wilcoxon test, intraclass correlation coefficient and concordance correlation coefficient were used, in addition to Bland and Altman procedure. The ethical precepts were based on Resolution No. 466/2012. 21 individuals participated in the study, who presented a total of 36 venous ulcers (72 photos). The average age of participants was 60.9, the majority of subjects were male, had one venous ulcer, with 3,0 years median time of existence of injury. The size of the ulcers had great amplitude. There was difference between the measurements of the researcher and the evaluators in AutoCAD® software, with no difference in the Image tool. However, the values of the correlation coefficients were strong in both cases. There was no significant difference between the measurements in both softwares, there is strong intraclass correlation and agreement between both, which seem to be more accurate in measuring wounds with an area> 10 cm². Measurements in AutoCAD and Image Tool softwares feature intraclass correlation and strong concordance, so they are reproducible. Still they appears to be more accurate when used to measure wound area> 10 cm². Therefore, the use of both is suitable for the measurement of venous ulcers with an area> 10 cm².
A mensuração de feridas é um dado importante no processo de avaliação da cicatrização porque fornece parâmetros que indicam a evolução da cicatrização da ferida. O objetivo é comparar a mensuração de área de úlceras venosas por meio dos softwares AutoCAD® e Image Tool. A avaliação de métodos de mensuração de feridas constitui-se como uma lacuna no conhecimento produzido pela enfermagem brasileira e como um dos aspectos fundamentais da avaliação de feridas. Trata-se de uma pesquisa de avaliação de reprodutibilidade de testes, com abordagem quantitativa. Participaram do estudo os pacientes portadores de úlceras venosas, atendidos em um ambulatório no período de coleta de dados (março a julho de 2015), com idade superior a 18 anos, com capacidade cognitiva e verbal preservadas, que possuíam úlceras cobrindo uma face do membro inferior (n=21). Para o procedimento de coleta de dados, os enfermeiros participantes do Grupo de Estudos de Lesões de Pele foram colaboradores da pesquisa, sendo denominados de avaliadores. Cada paciente teve sua úlcera fotografada pelo pesquisador e por um avaliador com Câmera Fujufilm Finepix S 14 Mega pixels. As fotografias foram transferidas para o notebook pessoal do pesquisador, tanto o avaliador quanto o pesquisador realizaram as mensurações das duas fotografias, com os dois softwares. Para a análise dos dados foram utilizados média e erro padrão, teste de Wilcoxon, Coeficiente de Correlação Intraclasse e Coeficiente de Correlação de Concordância, além do procedimento de Bland e Altman. Os preceitos éticos foram baseados na Resolução nº 466/2012. Participaram do estudo 21 indivíduos, que apresentaram, no total, 36 úlceras venosas (72 fotografias). A idade média dos participantes foi de 60,9, a maioria dos indivíduos era do sexo masculino, apresentava uma úlcera venosa, com tempo mediano de existência da lesão de 3,0 anos. Os tamanhos das úlceras apresentaram grande amplitude. Observou-se diferença entre as mensurações da pesquisadora e dos avaliadores no software AutoCAD®, sem diferença no Image tool. Apesar disso, os valores dos coeficientes de correlação foram fortes em ambos os casos. Não foi observada diferença significativa entre as mensurações nos dois softwares, existe forte correlação intraclasse e de concordância entre os ambos, os quais parecem ser mais precisos na mensuração de feridas com área > 10 cm². As mensurações nos softwares AutoCAD® e Image Tool apresentam correlação intraclasse e concordância fortes, ou seja, são reprodutíveis. Ainda, parecem ser mais precisos quando utilizados para mensurar feridas com área > 10 cm². Portanto, o uso de ambos é indicado para a mensuração de úlceras venosas com área > 10 cm².

Os elevados índices de desperdícios na construção civil no Brasil reduzem significativamente as margens de lucro dos empreendedores. O superdimensionamento dos sistemas, paradas e retrabalhos por interferências entre projetos, informações faltando ou incorretas, empregos de materiais não padronizados e maior uso de mão-de-obra pela falta de construtibilidade são fatores ligados ao custo do desperdício originado pela falta de racionalização e coordenação do projeto. Neste contexto, o projeto apresenta-se como instrumento fundamental, devido à grande necessidade no setor da construção civil de aperfeiçoar a elaboração de projetos para otimizar e agregar valor ao empreendimento. Esta pesquisa tem como principal objetivo estudar e diagnosticar o processo de desenvolvimento e compatibilização de projetos em edifícios de múltiplos andares no pólo Petrolina-PE e Juazeiro-BA. O autor lança mão do uso da pesquisa qualitativa através da pesquisa de campo e a análise das incompatibilidades de projeto através de estudo de caso. A pesquisa qualitativa visa identificar os procedimentos empregados no desenvolvimento de projetos, a conformidade da representação gráfica, compatibilização de projetos, tecnologias CAD e tecnologia da informação. As análises do estudo de caso são realizadas através dos projetos arquitetônicos e complementares, visando à conformidade, padronização e compatibilidade dos elementos construtivos em edifícios de múltiplos andares. As conclusões apresentadas neste trabalho mostram um diagnóstico sobre o processo de desenvolvimento e compatibilização de projetos em edifícios de múltiplos andares, promovendo uma reflexão sobre uma série de questões relevantes com ênfase na diminuição do desperdício na construção civil e uma avaliação que possibilitou a revelação de empecilhos endógenos e exógenos no processo de compatibilização de projeto
The high levels of waste in the construction industry in Brazil reduce significantly the profit margins of entrepreneurs. The overestimation of the systems, stops and rework due to interferences between projects, missing or incorrect information, employment of non-standard materials and greater use of skilled manpower for the lack of constructability are factors related to the cost of waste caused by a lack or rationalization and project coordination. In this context, the project presents itself as essential, due to the great need in the construction industry to improve project design to optimize and add values to the enterprise. This research has as main objective to study and diagnose the process of development and compatibility of project in multi-floors building in the Petrolina-PE e Juazeiro-BA. The author uses the qualitative research through field research and analysis of incompatibility in the project through a case study. The qualitative research aims to identify the procedures employed in the development of projects accordance to the graphical representation, alignment of projects, CAD technologies and information technology. The analysis of case studies are performed through the architectural and complementary projects, aiming accordance, standardization and compatibility of building elements in buildings with multiples floors. The findings presented in this paper show a diagnosis of process of development and compatibility of projects in buildings with multiple floors. Promoting reflection on a number of relevant issues with an emphasis on reducing waste in construction and evaluation that led to the disclosure of endogenous and exogenous obstacles in the process of compatibility project

Neste trabalho de mestrado desenvolvemos um estudo sobre a aplicação de diferentes tipos de sistemas de projeto auxiliado por computador (CAD) e de prototipagem rápida no processo de projetação arquitetônica. Nosso objetivo foi o de avaliar como ocorre a transferência de informação dos elementos geométricos entre estes sistemas e como as dificuldades de interoperabilidade entre os mesmos podem afetar a fidedignidade dos modelos físicos gerados a partir dos modelos virtuais originais. Por isto elaboramos a hipótese que afirma que o uso de diferentes tipos de sistemas CAD e de prototipagem rápida resulta em diferentes níveis de sucesso na transferência de informações entre os mesmos, devido ao grau de precisão de cada sistema. Apesar do variado grau de precisão, estes sistemas produzem modelos físicos digitais com a representação satisfatória em relação ao modelo virtual original, portanto sem necessidade de retrabalho. A partir da realização de seis experimentos elaboramos uma análise comparativa entre os aspectos formais resultantes da modelagem e da prototipagem de um mesmo projeto arquitetônico em diferentes tipos de sistemas CAD: Revit, AutoCAD e FormZ. Os modelos CAD foram importados pelos softwares de prototipagem rápida ReplicatorG da Makerbot e Zprint da ZCorporation para serem produzidos por suas respectivas impressoras tridimensionais, pelo processo de adição de camadas. Os resultados obtidos a partir da experimentação foram avaliados em duas etapas: a primeira constatou que é possível obter a interoperabilidade integral das geometrias do modelo entre os diferentes sistemas CAD e os diferentes softwares de prototipagem rápida utilizados. A segunda etapa demonstrou que os sistemas apresentam diferentes graus de precisão, observados principalmente no momento de importação e reprodução das superfícies curvas e complexas do modelo. Ao final desta dissertação, sugerimos um conjunto de recomendações para facilitar a utilização destas ferramentas digitais por parte dos arquitetos, para que as mesmas contribuam agilizando e tornando mais precisas as tomadas de decisão, durante o processo de projetação. Reduz-se, assim, a probabilidade de retrabalho do modelo virtual original, após sua importação por meio dos sistemas de prototipagem rápida. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT
In this Master research work we develop a study about the application of different types of computer aided design (CAD) and rapid prototyping systems in the process of architectural design. Our goal is to assess how the transfer of geometric elements information between these systems occurs and also the difficulties of interoperability between them can affect the reliability of physical models generated from the original virtual models. Therefore we developed the hypothesis that the use of different types of CAD and rapid prototyping systems results in different levels of successful transfer of information between them, due to the accuracy of each system. Although the varied degree of precision, these systems produce digital physicals models with the satisfactory representation in relation to the original virtual model, so there is no need for rework. Upon completion of six experiments we performed a comparative analysis of the resulting formal aspects of modeling and prototyping of the same architectural design in different CAD systems: Revit, AutoCAD and FormZ. The CAD models were imported by the software for rapid prototyping of ReplicatorG MakerBot and Zprint of ZCorporation to be produced by their respective three-dimensional printers, in the process of adding layers. The results from the trial were evaluated in two stages: the first one found it possible to achieve full interoperability of the model geometry between different CAD systems and different software used for rapid prototyping. The second stage showed that the systems have varying degrees of precision, mainly observed at the time of importing and reproduction of curved and complex surfaces model. At the end of this Dissertation, we suggest a set of recommendations in order to make it easier for the architects to use these digital tools, so that the same ones may contribute to accelerate it and also, to make it possible for these professionals to get more accuracy, when making up their minds, during the entire process. Thus, the need to rework the proposed model after importing it to the rapid prototyping systems is reduced.

Las empresas que desean desarrollar proyectos donde se requieren planos, se ven enfrentadas a realizar levantamientos de información como base para el desarrollo de éstos. En la actualidad, el proceso de levantamiento de información es típicamente manual, realizado con notas en papel y lápiz que luego serán plasmadas en un programa de diseño asistido como AutoCAD; este proceso manual requiere de largos tiempos y gran esfuerzo para obtener información detallada, lo que conlleva a altos costos del servicio de planimetría. La propuesta de valor de Qalia, se basa en entregar de forma rápida la planimetría detallada de un área de hasta 500m2, tomada en terreno en tan sólo 10 a 20 minutos con el uso de un escáner láser de alta resolución, procurando eficiencia en costos, y ofreciendo al cliente los planos 2D, 3D, y una nube de puntos para navegación “true view” y recorridos virtuales. En la actualidad, el uso de tecnología 3D en aplicaciones de ingeniería es una tendencia en crecimiento, lo que genera oportunidades para ofrecer servicios de ingeniería inversa1 basadas en planimetría 3D como punto de partida para el desarrollo de otras ingenierías. Esta oportunidad de negocios se pudo ratificar a través de entrevistas a potenciales clientes y usuarios, donde el 100% confirmó que le gustaría que existiera el servicio y el 93% afirmó su disposición a pagar por ello (Ver Anexo 1 “Entrevistas a potenciales clientes”). En base al catastro de proyectos de inversión en Chile2, donde se muestra que el 90% de los recursos económicos de los próximos 3 años serán dirigidos a desarrollar Infraestructura, Telecomunicaciones, Energía y Minería, se decide colocar foco en estos sectores para ofrecer el servicio de Ingeniería Inversa. Se estima que el mercado donde participará Qalia es del orden de USD 45MM al año, de los cuales se pretende obtener una participación superior al 3% con ventas anuales cercanas a USD 1.5M al quinto año de operación. La inversión inicial requerida es de CLP 98.354.864, siendo 100% financiado con aporte de socios. Los principales activos fijos de la empresa serán los escáners 3D valorados en CLP 58.905.000 c/u, de los cuales se estima llegar a un total de 3 al cuarto año de operación. La estructura inicial de la empresa será liviana, conformada sólo por (1) Gerente General, (1) Proyectista y (1) Técnico de terreno. El crecimiento de las operaciones será en función de la venta y se estima que para el final del 3er año se alcance una estructura con dos áreas principales, ventas y operaciones, donde ventas estará conformada por (1) Gerente de Ventas, y operaciones por (1) Gerente de Operaciones, (3) Técnicos y (5) Proyectistas. El proyecto genera riqueza y es positivo y muy superior a la tasa de descuento.
