This study aimed to investigate the effect of vertical landing speed on impact load resistance of the landing gear frame using the finite element method. Stress analysis was done using Autodesk Inventor Professional 2017 software. The landing gear frame material used Aluminum alloy 5083. The UAV weighed 100 kg and had an impact time of 0.5 seconds. Vertical landing speeds were 7 m/s, 8 m/s, 9 m/s, and 10 m/s. Simulation results show that the landing gear frame is safe enough to withstand landing speeds of up to 9 m/s because it has a safety factor of 3.201.

This study examined the design and analysis of the strength of the trash bin frame using the finite element method. The analysis was carried out using Autodesk Inventor Professional 2017. The frame material used was Aluminum 5052 with ISO 10799-2 (Square) standard with the size of 25 x 25 x 2 mm. The variable load of the trash bin was 55 kg, 60 kg, 65 kg, and 70 kg. The simulation results show that a load of a trash bin with the weight of 55 kg, 60 kg, 65 kg, and 70 kg had the safety factor of 2,49, 2,28, 2,11, and 1,96.
