Abstract:
Shopping and buying is an integral part of our daily lives. Big mega markets have a wide variety of items and different stores can have different deliveries of goods. It is difficult for many consumers to stand in the long queue for the billing of goods purchased. This causes wastage of money and a poor bill for the wrong customer. Trolleys are used in supermarkets or grocery stores to make shopping simpler. However, it is difficult for customers to control the trolley while shopping. An automated customer following trolley was implemented which calculates the total sum of grocery items carried in the trolley by the customers. This reduces the customer's effort to pull the trolley and keep the line for the payment of the grocery products. The customer who has a specific tag and a web camera installed in front of the trolley will recognize the tag and move the trolley to the customer. Using the RFID tag and the Raspberry Pi receiver, the item bill inserted has been obtained in the trolley. This results in an ideal solution to all these problems.

Abstract:
Shopping center is where individuals get their everyday necessities. There has been a rising interest for speedy and simple installment of bills in shopping centers. Acquiring and shopping at uber shopping centers is ending up day by day movement in different metro-urban communities. There is enormous surge at these shopping centers on siestas and ends of the week. The surge is considerably more when there are exceptional offers and limits arrived. Individuals buy distinctive things and place them in trolley. In the wake of gathering every one of the items in trolley, one needs to go to charging counter for charging, tallying and further installment process for obtaining those items. To beat these issues, we have planned a shrewd trolley. As indicated by the writing study, existing shopping framework causes an immense surge at super shopping centers. In shopping center for obtaining assortment of things it requires trolley. Every time customer has to pull the trolley from rack to rack for collecting items and at the same time customer has to do calculation of those items and manually have to compare the total price with their budget. This process becomes hectic to the one who is in rush[4]. After this, customer has to wait in queue for billing at counter processed by the staff member present at that counter where firstly, the scanning of all the products in trolley needs to be done then final billing and payment has been occurred. Here, if the customer wants to remove any item from final bill then manually removal of that item has been done and then again final billing done by the staff member present at that counter. The information displayed on LCD includes the list of selected product, their prizes, and total prize. The keypad is introduced to confirmation of selected list as well as removal of products in such cases. If customer wants to remove any product from the list of scanned items, then by selecting that particular item customer can easily remove them. After the confirmation of selected items the final bill is being sent to the server of the mall as well as on customer’s mobile number. Then the payment process is done at cashiers’ counter. Thus, automated shopping trolley help to save time required for scanning and counting process and avoids rush at counter.

Abstract:
Microcontroller and RFID based design, has acquired the status of most happening field in shopping market. This is highly specialized field that has the power of integrating large number of components on shopping trolley. Nowadays when we are going to the shopping mall, we have to first take the trolley and then proceed to products lines. Then we put items in the trolley which we intend to purchase. After all the shopping we moved toward the cash counters. And wait in the long queues for payment. After paying money we have to check out the shopping mall. In order to overcome the disadvantage such as waiting for payment as well as reduce wastage of time, we are developing fully automated “SMART SHOPPING TROLLEY” system. In this system, when you take the trolley for shopping and putting the products in the trolley which you wish to purchase, the sensors which are mounted on the trolley read the information of the product and directly send to the main server. And there is no need to waiting in the long queues. You can directly do your payment as your full information is already to the counter.

Abstract:
Shopping malls can be crowded, making long checkout lines frustrating. This proposal outlines a "smart cart" system to streamline the billing process. The trolley has a RFID reader and camera to read the tags and capture images respectively. This trolley has two more cameras at two sides of the trolley to capture the images of the objects in the rack. This can accurately detect the objects and later the product has entered into the cart. The main objective of this project is to reduce the time required for this Accounting system at bill counters. If you want to remove a product you added, you will need to rescan the product. In case the object is not detected by the barcode then the camera attached to the RFID reader captures the images of the product and stores to cart using the Database. This is done using a smart shopping system based on RFID. Items that are put in a smart shopping cart are read one by one and the bill is generated and displayed. After completion of shopping, customers can exit the shop with their bills deducted automatically from their e-Wallet.

Abstract:
Shopping became one of the most important tasks that people conduct on a daily basis. A mart is a place where various things can be purchased within a roof. Customers must patiently wait in lengthy lines, especially on weekends, until it is their turn. Due to people's busy schedules, this is a time-consuming process that leaves them exhausted and dissatisfied with the services provided at the checkout counters. We proposed and implemented an autonomous trolley with an electronic billing system. The proposed and developed system is separated into two sections, the first section consists of RFID tags and camera-based product scanning and detection, while the second section consists of bill generation and e-payment. The second output is of a shopping receipt, which was printed using a thermal printer effectively, and smart trolley-based bill detection will be accomplished. This self-billing is a new technology that can present us with numerous advantages. Currently, everyone is familiar with e-payments, and because our system is also based on direct bank transactions. This smart trolley-based bill detection will ultimately be accomplished through the user's bank and Jazz Cash. Automated trolley systems are designed to provide customers with knowledge about their collected items and decision-making abilities based on prior purchase patterns in order to ensure a hassle-free shopping experience.

Abstract:
In the realm of individual E-business transactions, many people engage in purchasing various items from markets and shopping centers to fulfill their basic needs. Despite the numerous challenges faced by customers, a prevalent issue is the time-consuming process of waiting in line for billing, even when the purchase involves only a couple of items. This traditional method of queuing up, handling cash transactions, and the average time spent on each customer becomes particularly burdensome in crowded grocery stores and shopping malls .Customers, especially those inclined towards embracing new technologies, are eager for innovations that streamline the billing process, reducing waiting times and overall transaction duration. The primary objective is to meet the essential needs of customers and, importantly, alleviate the time spent on the billing process. The proposal is to transition from the conventional waiting-in-line approach to a system where the billing is completed within the shopping trolley itself. This paper introduces a technological solution that facilitates a seamless shopping experience, utilizing Raspberry Pi and other advancements. The proposed system is wellsuited for implementation in general shopping centers such as supermarkets, D-mart, Big Bazaar, and Walmart. The technology aims to significantly reduce time consumption, offering an enhanced shopping experience for customers.

Abstract:
On holidays and weekends, we can notice a large rush at shopping centres in metro areas. This is exacerbated when there are substantial discounts and deals. By applying the notion of internet of thing (IoT) for concerning all things in the grocery store, an automated smart shopping system is created. Each product within such scheme had an economical radio frequency identification (RFID) tag positioned with it. Once an item has been added to a smart cart, the information about the merchandise is quickly read by the RFID reader on the cart. The outcome is, direct invoicing is done out from shopping cart, saving clients from having to wait in a long line at the checkout. The product's expiration date is also displayed and broken products can be determined by their weight. As a result, expired and damaged products will not be taken into account when calculating the cost. Furthermore, this system gains the addition of smart shelves incorporating RFID readers which may check stock and possibly update a central server. Inventory control becomes simpler as a result. Finally, cashier stations could verify a customer's purchase. As a result, billing may be done right in the trolley, saving clients a lot of time.

Abstract: Physically challenged and senior citizens find it difficult to push heavily loaded carts around the supermarket. To combat this, we have implemented an autonomous shopping cart that supersedes the existing shopping trolley. This autonomous cart can manoeuvre around without the need of pushing it by using multiple ultrasonic sensors. To avoid long queues at the billing counters and also to reduce the workload of the employees at the supermarket, we have implemented a billing system. Scanning is incorporated in the cart itself, thus reducing the time wasted by customers at the billing counter. This billing system uses RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) to scan products. Products scanned in the cart are sent to the computers installed in the supermarket using a Wi-Fi module. The Automated Shopping Cart thereby eases the shopping experience of customers and reduces the manpower employed in supermarkets. The significant benefit of using an automated cart is that customers can move swiftly through the cash counter and check out independently. Abstract:
Time is an expensive resource in our fast-paced society, and people frequently lose a good deal of it waiting at supermarket and shopping mall checkout counters. An automated intelligent shopping cart has been designed for supermarkets to solve the shortcomings of the current billing systems. This trolley reduces the amount of time customers spend at the checkout counter, improving convenience and saving time, by scanning products using the Atmega 328 controller and RFID tags. Customers can better their shopping experience by monitoring the amount of items and the overall cost thanks to the digital document shown on an LCD. With electronic bills sent via email and thorough purchase information available through the shop's website, the intelligent cart manages shopping and payment procedures, allowing customers to buy things and leave the store fast. In order to manage product and customer information, this system needs an Arduino board, an RFID reader, an RFID tag, an LCD display, a database manager, and a website. Leveraging the Internet of Things (IoT) for smooth connection with the worldwide network, the administrator can access this information anywhere.

In this living environment, technology is constantly advancing in a variety of domains, including artificial intelligence, machine learning, virtual reality, touch commerce, the Internet of Things, and many more. The primary objective of the project is to concentrate on the requirements and objectives of the customers, as time is of greater significance to all individuals in the actual world. On the other hand, consumers spend more time in the grocery store. It is common practice for customers to use a shopping cart to purchase a variety of things when they are at the supermarket. After making a purchase, consumers are confronted with several challenges, such as standing in a lengthy queue at the billing area and being unaware of the computation of the things that they have purchased. As a result, we may take into consideration these issues in order to discover solutions that are referred to as "IoT- Based Smart shopping trolley with automated billing." As a result, the typical product scanning that takes place at the counter is eliminated, which speeds up the overall shopping experience. In addition, the consumer will be aware of the entire amount that is owed on their account, allowing them to plan their shopping appropriately, ensuring that they only buy the necessities, so boosting their savings. Because every step of the billing process is automated, the possibility of making a mistake due to human intervention is drastically decreased. In order to further enhance the shopping experience of the consumer, the system also includes a function that gives the user the ability to remove the goods that have been scanned

Abstract:
In the era of industrial revolution 4.0, all human activities are replaced by machines. Humans are required to optimize brain function than muscle function. All human work is facilitated by robots or tools work automatically. For example, shopping activities in the modern market. Consumers prefer to shop in the modern market than the traditional market, because the items are complete, neatly arranged, and they have facilities like trolleys as transporters. Trolleys can be pushed and pulled easily. But when shopping, parents have a problem with pushing or pulling a trolley when they carrying their children. Therefore, we created a design for automatic follower shopping trolley based on image processing which can follow the consumers when shopping. This trolley has a webcam camera as a sensor to take pictures of the objects or special accessories that used by consumers. The result of data are processed in such a way and then it will be obtained the x and y coordinates positions of the consumer and the next data will be sent to the Raspberry Pi 3 which will automatically determine the movement of the trolley. The test results showed that the distance range detected between trolleys and consumers ranged from 0.5 meters to 2 meters, and trolleys can move according to the point where the object was detected. Thus, the trolley can follow the user well.

Abstract - This research presents information about automatic trolley robot customer followers of image processing and microcontrollers. Generally, when we shopping at supermarkets usually provided baskets and trolleys to carry their groceries. Usually customers are required to drive the trolley or bring their own basket, so customers still feel troubled if they have to choose groceries while pushing the luggage cart. Of these problems came the idea of integrating between conventional trolleys and automation technology. The aim of the author making research about this robot trolley to make it easier and more convenient for supermarket customers to shop and carry their groceries. Where trolleys are made capable of following the movements of users without the need to push them so that customers just have to buy items that are purchased and customers can walk in front of their shopping trolleys. The additional devices needed to drive the trolley automatically include camera, microcontroller, DC motor, servo motor, motorbike driver, and battery installed on the trolley. Image processing uses a camera on the system that is made to work by detecting the color of the object that has been determined to determine the distance of the object with the trolley. The method used to process image processing is a hue-based color filtering algorithm hue-based color filtering. So that the use of trolleys can move automatically to follow customers. The end result of this automatic follower trolley design is an 80% success rate with the maximum distance between objects and trolleys is 5.65m.Keyword : camera, image processing, microcontroller, DC motor.

bstract: In this modern twenty-first century mostly all families like to spend time shopping in malls, shopping complexes and retail stores. In all these shops people usually carry trolleys on their own in which they collect the desired items and then locomote the trolley to the billing counter where they have to wait in long queues, but nowadays there is a need to convert the old traditional trolley with a modern automatic trolley, which is exactly our project. The main idea of the project is to automate the process of shopping in such a manner that we will scan the products using RFID attached to the products and an RFID reader attached to the trolley as well as display the total amount on the LCD. We also have included a feature to send a message to the customer's registered mobile number. This process not only helps in reducing the waiting time in the long queues and moving the trolley automatically but also helps in managing and checking the budget while shopping which indeed provides a huge difference in their shopping experience as well.

A shopping mall is a place where hundreds of customers visit every day to purchase many items. Nowadays shopping malls are increasing rapidly due to the availability of all the items ranging from groceries, clothes, vegetables, fruits, etc., in the commonplace. A trolley is required to collect the items in the shopping mall. The trolley has to be pulled forward or backward while collecting the items. After purchasing the product, the customer has to stand in a long queue for billing their products. To overcome this problem, we are developing intelligent trolleys for shopping malls. Every product in the shopping mall contains an RFID tag and the trolley is fitted with an RFID reader. When the customer drops the product in the trolley the reader reads the tag and displays the item and the amount in LCD which is fitted in the trolley. After the completion of shopping, the customer will press the finish button in the trolley, and the total bill is displayed on the LCD, and the bill is transferred to the main computer. The total bill of the customer will be received as a message through a GSM module. Index terms – RFID Tags, Reader, LCD, GSM Module, Arduino NANO.

Abstract – In this fast-running world, time is one of the precious things. People who are shopping in malls and supermarkets spend a lot of time waiting at the billing counter. Tackling this problem and considering the flaws in the current billing system paved the way for the development of an automatic smart trolley for supermarkets. This trolley saves customers’ time and effort by reducing the amount of time they need to spend at the billing counter, during their shopping. Based on the Node MCU (ESP8266) microcontroller and RFID tags, this project scans products. The scanned products will be displayed on the OLED screen which helps the customer to keep track of the total items along with the total cost. This makes the customer enjoy shopping and thus saves time. People must wait in long queues patiently to wait for his turn. To avoid this problem the proposed method introduced an effective and highly advance system. The RFID technology enables the scanning of items simultaneously and automatic display of purchased item and amount on the LCD screen this will help customers to keep track of their purchases and avoid any confusion during the billing process. To tackle this problem especially billing system is proposed. When items are put it gets scanned and purchased item and its amount displayed parallel for payment proceeding. Now a day shopping in supermarket and mall is increasing rapidly. While shopping, customers have to face some difficulties. First, they go at the billing counter for payments their total expenditure but there are many people standing in queue for billing purpose. This is unnecessary waste time for customer because cashier scans each item bought with barcode. Barcode technology is time consuming process. Second, customers can't predict their total expenditure so, overall purchase total is greater than their budged. Thus, the proposed system overcomes all of these drawbacks faced by customers in shopping malls. To reduce customer's waste time, the system uses RFID Radio Frequency Identification technology. The proposed system will be implemented into two parts. First part is the customer side which initialize arduino for the set ups of RFID reader and zigbee. In this part, contains the tag detection of products by RFID reader which are placed in the trolley and sending of product information from trolley to central billing unit through zigbee transmitter. Second part is counter side which contain zigbee receiver is connected to billing PC using serial communication. It receives billing data and gives it to the PC by using Visual Basic 6.0 software and maintains daily record by Microsoft Access database system. Abstract:
<p>Shopping Mall is a complex of shops representing various merchandisers that enables the customers to buy all their needed things. As it is easier for people to come and buy all their things in a common place, shopping malls are crowded. As people are coming in large numbers to buy the groceries and house hold products for the full month, the billing counters are flooded with people. In order to avoid such large queues at the billing counter, we are coming up with Smart Cart using newly evolved RFID Technology. In our proposed method, the bill is automatically generated in the trolley as the customer purchases the product.</p>

Abstract:
Abstract With the rapid development of e-commerce in Internet technology, online shopping has become the mainstream shopping method accepted and favored by people. E-commerce and online shopping not only bring convenience to people’s life, but also aggravate the surge of express delivery. In order to improve the pick-up efficiency, this paper designs an intelligent pick-up express system based on OpenMV face recognition. The system takes STM32 single chip microcomputer as the core controller, and reads and transmits express information based on OpenMV face recognition; The trolley tracks and avoids obstacles independently, and takes parts according to the planned path of the system. Experiments show that the system can realize express automatic pick-up, and has a broad application prospect.
