Abstract:
The thesis work is a part of a project where the major goal is to improve the efficiency of the evaluations of microwave ovens at Whirlpool Sweden AB. The purpose of the work has been to develop an automatic control and measurement system for microwave ovens. In an earlier thesis work, a test rig has been developed and this test rig has been further developed to an autonomous system. The software for this system is developed in LabVIEW and interfaces to some measuring instruments has been implemented for the system. As a plan for the programming work, UML-diagrams were created in Visual Paradigm To make it easy for the user to handle the system, a user interface has been created in LabVIEW. The system handles different XML-files: oven profiles and test profiles, which are defined by the user. An oven profile contains coordinates for specific positions at the front of a microwave oven, e.g. button positions and corners. There will be one oven profile per oven model. A test profile contains different stages with position names, operations and time delays. The position names are the names of the positions defined in the oven profile. The results from a measurement will be saved in a CSV-file.

Esta tese trata da formulação e da análise de estratégias de produção e de automação. Está voltada para setores industriais compostos por empresas que competem através do lançamento de produtos em mercados onde exista concorrência. A tese enfatiza a relação que deve existir entre as formas competitivas adotadas pela empresas e o modo como esta organiza o sistema produtivo. Tradicionalmente esta relação é vista do mercado para a produção, ou seja, esta última deve dar suporte à inserção no mercado. Nesta tese enfatizamos as novas possibilidades competitivas abertas pelas tecnologias de automação e informatização e por formas dinâmicas de organização de trabalho. Esta tese trata, ainda, da necessária coerência interna que as estratégias de produção devem possuir. A pesquisa de campo realizada buscou tratar destas questões na indústria de informática e na indústria metal-mecânica de produção por lotes.
This thesis deals with the formulation and analysis of the automatization and production strategies. Its focus is the industrial sectores made of companies which compete by lauching products in competitive markets. It emphasizes the relationship that must exist between competitive ways adopted by the companies and the way they organize their production system. This relatioship has been traditionally understood as having its beginning in the market and its end in the production system, that is, the latter must support the entry in the market. Our aim in this thesis is to give special consideration to the new competitive possibilities open by the automation and informatization tecnologies and by the dynamic ways of the work organization. Furthermore, it´s important to show the internal coherence that the production strategies must have. The field research tried to cover these subjects in the computer industry and in the metal-working industry (job-shop).

The current trend of transition to digital methods of creating, transmitting, processing and storing information leads to the widespread introduction of static and dynamic databases, the organization of telecommunications for access to information through terrestrial and satellite information channels. Accordingly, in logistics systems there is a transition to digital technology in all areas of document management, including the replacement of paper transport documents with electronic ones. The integration of information flows and communication support in the transportation of goods has received a general name – telematics. The introduction of information technologies and their integration on the basis of telematics are implemented in transport in several main areas. First of all, it is the active implementation and use of automated control systems of the transport company. Management of any enterprise requires a high level of information and analysis of the information obtained to form a management decision, so companies implement automated control systems (ACS) of different levels for quality collection and processing of information about the enterprise. ACS is based on the integrated use of technical, mathematical, informational and organizational tools.
Сучасна тенденція переходу до цифрових методів створення, передачі, обробки та зберігання інформації призводить до широкого впровадження статичних та динамічних баз даних, організації телекомунікацій для доступу до інформації через наземні та супутникові інформаційні канали. Відповідно, в логістичних системах відбувається перехід до цифрових технологій у всіх сферах документообігу, включаючи заміну паперових транспортних документів на електронні. Інтеграція інформаційних потоків та комунікаційного забезпечення при перевезенні вантажів отримала загальну назву - телематика. Впровадження інформаційних технологій та їх інтеграція на основі телематики реалізуються на транспорті в декількох основних сферах. Перш за все, це активне впровадження та використання автоматизованих систем управління транспортної компанії. Управління будь-яким підприємством вимагає високого рівня інформації та аналізу отриманої інформації для формування управлінського рішення, тому компанії впроваджують автоматизовані системи управління (АСУ) різного рівня для якісного збору та обробки інформації про підприємство. Abstract:

This thesis work consisted of the development of a virtual instrument that automates enzyme activity measurements and spectrum measurements with the spectrophotometer UVmini-1240. The purpose was to expand the functionality of the instrument, to eliminate the human error and to decrease the amount of time spent on measurements. A PC was connected to the UVmini-1240 via a RS-232C interface and the cell position and temperature was regulated with a CPS-240A controller. The new interface allows all the parameters to be set in the same place. It allows a visualization of the continuous monitoring of the sample absorbance and the option to save the data for post-processing. Also a module for measuring the spectrum of a sample in the wavelength range of 190 nm to 1100 nm is included. The graphical programming language LabView was used to develop the virtual instrument. This thesis work also contained measurement series of the catalase enzyme activity. These were carried out to determine the best storage temperature for the catalase solution and to determine the optimal surrounding temperature for the highest activity in the catalase solution. The conclusions were that the activity does not change considerably the first week of storage, not matter the temperature, and that the activity goes down when the surrounding temperature reaches above 30° C. These measurements were part of a bigger project to develop an ultrasonic method for measuring enzyme activity at the Institute of Acoustics at C.S.I.C in Madrid.

This thesis is focused on the area of automated data mining. The aim of this thesis is a description of the area of automated data mining, creation of a design of an automated data mining tasks creation process for verification of set domain knowledge and new knowledge search, and also an implementation of verification of set domain knowledge of attribute dependency type influence with search space adjustments. The implementation language is the LMCL language that enables usage of the LISp-Miner system's functionality in an automated way. These data analyses were performed on data from air pollution monitoring. The design and implementation were successful and the created scripts could be used (with some manual changes in initial parameters) for analyses of another dataset as well.

Les compétences quotidiennes efficaces, telles que faire ses lacets, reposent sur des comportements automatisés. À mesure que les comportements sont appris et répétés, le lien entre l'action et son contexte s'intensifie progressivement jusqu'à devenir automatique. L'automatisation des comportements est essentielle à l'exécution harmonieuse et sans effort des tâches, libérant ainsi des ressources cognitives pour des activités plus complexes. Ce processus d'acquisition, de consolidation et d'automatisation dépend des circuits cortico-basales. Ces circuits sont topographiquement organisés en boucles limbiques, associatives et sensorimotrices parallèles traversant respectivement le striatum ventromédial, dorsomédial et dorsolatéral (DMS). Ces circuits interagissent de manière dynamique et sont recrutés à des degrés divers au cours de l'apprentissage. La boucle limbique cortico-striatale est particulièrement importante au cours de l'acquisition initiale, lorsque le comportement est hautement exploratoire et dépend de la récompense. La boucle associative est particulièrement sollicitée au cours de la phase initiale de l'apprentissage, orientée vers un but, lorsque des associations sont établies. Enfin, la boucle sensorimotrice est cruciale lorsque le comportement appris devient automatisé. Certains gènes ont été identifiés comme étant impliqués dans certaines phases de l'apprentissage, néanmoins il n'existe pas de profils d'expression génomique spécifiques à une sous-région du striatum. Afin de pallier à cette lacune, la première partie de mon projet de doctorat a consisté à évaluer les signatures moléculaires dans les différentes zones du striatum (striatum ventromédial, dorsomédial et dorsolatéral) au cours de l'acquisition et de l'automatisation du comportement en créant une carte d'expression de l'ARN à chaque étape de l'apprentissage. En outre, la nature apparemment séparée des boucles cortico-basales soulève la question de la manière dont l'information est transférée d'un circuit à un autre. Les neurones dopaminergiques qui se projettent à travers ces boucles sont un candidat de choix pour un tel flux transversal. Alors que les afférences dopaminergiques de l'aire tegmentale ventrale (ATV) ciblent principalement le striatum ventral, des études récentes ont décrit une proportion de neurones dopaminergiques de l'ATV se projetant vers le striatum dorsal, suggérant leur rôle dans le transfert d'informations à travers des boucles distinctes du CBG, potentiellement consolidant l'action en cours dans l'automatisation. Par conséquent, la deuxième partie de mon projet de doctorat consistait à étudier le rôle des projections dopaminergiques VTA-DMS au cours de l'automatisation du comportement par l'enregistrement spécifique de la projection et la modulation de ses neurones. Enfin, la troisième partie de mon projet de doctorat s'est concentrée sur l'étude d'un modèle murin de comportements répétitifs qui présente une formation aberrante d'habitudes, la souris Sapap3-KO. J'ai réalisé une analyse structurelle détaillée des neurones du striatum de ces animaux, montrant une réduction du calibre des axones dans un sous-groupe de neurones du DMS des animaux Sapap3-KO, comparativement à leurs homologues sauvages.. Dans l'ensemble, cette thèse élargit notre connaissance des circuits neuronaux et des voies moléculaires impliqués dans la régulation normale et pathologique des comportements automatisés
Efficient every day skills, such as tying shoelaces, rely on automatized behaviours. As behaviours are learnt and repeated, the link between the action and its context incrementally increases until automaticity. Behavioural automatization is essential to for smooth and effortless execution of tasks, freeing up cognitive resources for more complex activities. This process of acquisition, consolidation and automatization depends on cortico-basal ganglia circuits. These circuits are topographically organized into parallel limbic, associative and sensorimotor loops coursing through the ventromedial, dorsomedial, and dorsolateral striatum (DMS), respectively. These circuits dynamically interact and are recruited to different extents during learning. The limbic cortico‐striatal loop is especially important during initial acquisition, when behaviour is highly exploratory and reward-dependent. The associative loop is particularly recruited during the early, goal‐directed phase of learning, when associations are established. Finally, the sensorimotor loop is crucial when the learned behaviour becomes automatized. Some genes have been identified as being involved in certain phases of learning, however, subregion-specific genome-wide expression profiles of the striatum are lacking. To address this, the first part of my PhD project consisted in the assessment of the molecular signatures in the different striatal areas (ventromedial, dorsomedial, and dorsolateral striatum) during behavioural acquisition and automatization by creating a RNA expression map at each stage of learning. Furthermore, the seemingly segregated nature of the cortico-basal ganglia loops raises the question on how the information is transferred from one circuit to another. One strong candidate for such transversal flow are dopaminergic neurons that project across these loops. While dopaminergic afferents from ventral tegmental area (VTA) mainly target the ventral striatum, recent studies described a proportion of dopaminergic VTA neurons projecting to the dorsal striatum, hinting for its role in information transfer across distinct CBG loops, potentially consolidating the ongoing action into automatization. Therefore, my second part of my PhD project involved the investigation of the role of the dopaminergic VTA-DMS projections during behavioural automatization by projection-specific recording and modulation of its neurons. Finally, the third part of my PhD project focused on studying a mouse model of repetitive behaviours that presents aberrant habit formation, the Sapap3-KO mouse. I have concluded a detailed structural analysis of the neurons in the striatum of these animals, showing a reduced axon calibre in a subgroup of neurons in the DMS of the Sapap3-KO animals, when compared with their wild-type littermates. Overall, this thesis expands our knowledge of the neural circuits and molecular pathways involved in both normal and pathological regulation of habitual behaviors

Research in the field of hydroponics from the second half of 20th century and 21st century described how the components of hydroponic systems are related to each other and established a basis for construction and operation of complex and reliable systems of hydroponic agriculture. These systems are predominantly constructed as means for mass production in agriculture or are built by individuals to be used in their garden or greenhouse. The role of design in production of these devices is rather limited. The goal of this work is to introduce hydroponics as a complex system of many interconnected parameters and to assess hydroponic systems from the perspective of design. The objective is to design such a solution that would incorporate all the elements that make up a hydroponic system and design itself. This design ought to respect not only the need to provide a suitable environment for plant growth but also the need of efficiency, ergonomics and design.

L'evoluzione tecnologica, sia nel campo delle indagini in situ che della modellazione agli elementi finiti, ha fortemente aiutato nella comprensione del comportamento dinamico delle strutture, consentendo un'analisi periodica o continua della loro risposta ad azioni ambientali, antropiche ed eccezionali e la formulazione di previsioni accurate sul loro comportamento futuro, aspetti fondamentali per garantirne la sicurezza. Questa tesi, in particolare, si concentra sull'applicazione di una metodologia non distruttiva per la valutazione della salute strutturale che è diventata molto popolare oggigiorno, basata sull'acquisizione di dati vibrazionali e sull'estrazione dei parametri modali tramite l’applicazione delle tecniche identificative dell’Analisi Modale Operativa. Questi metodi risultano molto efficaci e molto adatti anche nel caso di strutture murarie storiche, per la non invasività e l'economicità della strumentazione necessaria per l'attività di monitoraggio. In questo lavoro vengono proposti diversi esempi di analisi modale operativa applicata per la valutazione dello stato di salute delle strutture in calcestruzzo e muratura al fine di evidenziare le potenzialità del metodo. Inoltre, costituiscono la base per lo sviluppo di quello che è il tema principale della tesi, ovvero la raccolta e l’interpretazione dei dati derivanti da oltre un anno di monitoraggio continuo dei due campanili simmetrici della Cattedrale di Santa Maria Annunziata di Camerino (Italia centrale). L'obiettivo dell'attività di monitoraggio è la valutazione del comportamento dinamico delle due torri a seguito dei danni avvenuti durante gli eventi sismici del 2016 e dei conseguenti interventi di rinforzo. I dati sperimentali vengono acquisiti in continuo utilizzando quattro accelerometri MEMS triassiali installati, due per ogni struttura, su due angoli opposti delle celle a campana. L'elaborazione dei dati è gestita con un sistema automatico, appositamente implementato in ambiente Matlab©, che elabora le cronologie ed esegue analisi OMA per tracciare le caratteristiche modali delle strutture e la loro evoluzione nel tempo. La correlazione con i fattori ambientali permette di discernere l'effetto delle condizioni climatiche sulle variazioni delle frequenze modali e dello smorzamento.
Evolution of technologies both in the fields of in situ investigations and Finite Element modeling strongly enhanced the possibility to understand the dynamic behavior of structures, allowing a periodic or continuous analysis of their response to environmental, anthropic, and exceptional actions and the formulation of accurate hypotheses about their future behavior, which is fundamental for ensuring their safety. In particular, this thesis is focused on the application of a non-destructive methodology for structural health assessment which has become quite popular nowadays, which is based on the acquisition of vibrational data and the extraction of the modal parameters applying Operational Modal Analysis techniques. These methods result very effective and also very suited in case of historic masonry structures, due to the non-invasiveness and cheapness of the instrumentation necessary for the monitoring activity. Different examples of operational modal analysis applied for the evaluation of the health state of concrete and masonry structures are proposed into this work in order to highlight the potentiality of method. Moreover, they constitute the basis for the main theme of the thesis, which is the acquisition and interpretation of the results of over one year of continuous monitoring of the two symmetrical bell towers of the Cathedral of Santa Maria Annunziata of Camerino (Central Italy). The monitoring activity target is the evaluation of the dynamic behavior of the two towers after the damages occurred during the seismic events of 2016 and the consequent reinforcement interventions. The experimental data are acquired in continuous using four triaxial MEMS accelerometers installed, two for each structure, on two opposite corners of the bell cells. Data processing is managed with an automatic system, purposely implemented in Matlab© environment, which elaborates the time histories and executes OMA analysis to track the modal characteristics of the structures and their evolution in time. Correlation with environmental factors allows to discern the effect of climatic conditions on the variations of modal frequencies and damping.

The theoretical part analyzes the components of an integrated logistics chain. The practical part is focused on analysis of the logistics processes associated with the distribution of foods in Nespresso. Emphasis is placed on storage at the distribution center in Prague. Implemented KPIs demonstrate inefficiency of a current information warehouse management system and proposal to implement new one based on automatic identification.

Abstract:
As labour prices are rising, and automation gets more advanced, it is important for all process industries to get involved with automation to be able to survive on the open market. Large companies in the process industry have been dealing with automation for decades, thereby making the technology more available and affordable. Smaller companies might not have had the financial strength to invest in such technology in the past, but as the equipment needed becomes more user friendly and affordable, the time for smaller companies to invest in automated systems has come. The cost of buying new automated equipment is high, but the systems in use might not be outdated if machine control and monitoring are modernized. Process technology has in many cases not been changed radically over the last decades, so modernizing of older equipment might be a more affordable way to automize production. In this report, installation and testing of both modernizing and used equipment has been done, and the results are quite convincing. Labour costs are reduced by investing a fraction of the cost compared to new equipment. The modernized machines might not be as future proof as newer machines, but it gives companies without the financial strength to invest in new machines the possibility to compete with modern automated production lines. We took a close study at a potato production line at Glomma Potetpakkeri AS, where we installed and tested a robot palletizer. We also discussed possible upgrades with the manager at the plant and calculated some profitability of the possible investments. A conclusion has been made, and in our perspective, a reasonable amount of automation can be achieved without large investments, and the market for these services do exist.
I takt med att arbetskraften blir dyrare och automatiseringen utvecklas och blir mer avancerad ökar behovet hos producerande företag att utnyttja automatisering för att kunna överleva på den öppna marknaden. Stora företag inom processindustrin har arbetat med automation i årtionden, vilket gjort tekniken mer tillgänglig och prisvärd. Mindre företag har kanske inte haft den ekonomiska styrkan att investera i sådan teknik tidigare, men eftersom den nödvändiga utrustningen blir mer användarvänlig och prisvärd, har tiden för mindre företag att investera i automatiserade system kommit. Kostnaden för att köpa ny automatiserad utrustning är hög, men ett omodernt system som används idag kan fortfarande vara användbart om maskinstyrning och övervakning moderniseras. Processtekniken har i många fall inte förändrats radikalt under de senaste decennierna, så modernisering av äldre utrustning kan vara en billigare lösning att automatisera produktionen. Under det genomförda projektarbetet har installation och provning av både moderniserings- och begagnad utrustning skett, och resultaten är ganska övertygande. Arbetskostnaderna reduceras samtidigt som investeringen bara kostar en bråkdel jämfört med priset för en ny utrustning. De moderniserade maskinerna kanske inte har lika lång livslängd som nyare maskiner, men det ger företag utan den ekonomiska styrkan att investera i nya maskiner möjligheten att konkurrera med moderna automatiserade produktionslinjer. Vi studerade en potatisproduktionslinje på Glomma Potetpakkeri AS, där vi installerade och testade en robotpalleterare. Vi diskuterade också eventuella uppgraderingar med anläggningschefen och beräknade lönsamheten för de möjliga investeringarna. Slutsatsen som har dragits är att, i vårt perspektiv, en rimlig mängd automatisering kan uppnås utan stora investeringar och marknaden för dessa tjänster existerar.

This thesis is framed within the field of red biotechnology and more specifically in the development of bioprocesses for cell species that feature some therapeutical interest, either for the production of vaccines and monoclonal antibodies or stem cell experimental research. The main objective was the development and application of different instrumental techniques for the control and online monitorization of cell cultures. Oxygen consumption OUR (Oxygen Uptake Rate) was chosen as the central theme since this parameter has often been referenced as the most straighforward indicator of metabolic activity in animal cell culture. This thesis was carried out in the context of a Spin-Off project (Hexascreen Culture Technologies) whose objective was the development of disposable Minibioreactors intended for biopharmaceutical research. Obviously, this has led to a number of important trade-offs, as well as the proposal of several imaginative solutions to solve various technological challenges. For this reason and in order to offer a better idea of the work's scope, it was decided to include in the thesis not only the description of the method and results related to the OUR estimation but a detailed description of the systems developed. Results demonstrate the feasibility of a simplified procedure for estimating the oxygen consumption. This is a review of the Stationary liquid phase mass balance method which allows reducing the implementation cost and unlike the Dynamic method (The most usual thechnique) prevents changes on the oxygen tension that could affect the cell's normal arctivity. The proposed method is based on the accurate control of the oxygen concentration by means of PWM driven electrovalves and using the control loop internal signals to estimate the OUR.
Aquesta Tesi doctoral està enquadrada en l'àmbit de la Biotecnologia vermella i més concretament en el desenvolupament de Bioprocessos relacionats amb espècies cel·lulars d’interès terapèutic, bé sigui per a la producció de vacunes, anticossos monoclonals o bé per a la recerca experimental amb cèl·lules mare. L'objectiu general ha estat el desenvolupament i aplicació de diferents tècniques instrumentals per al control i monitorització en línia de cultius cel·lulars, tant mateix d'entre les diferents tècniques emprades es va escollir la monitorització de la demanda d'oxigen O.U.R. (Oxygen Uptake Rate) com a tema central de la tesi degut a que aquest paràmetre ha estat referenciat sovint com un dels millors indicadors de l'activitat metabòlica en cultius de cèl·lules animals. Cal mencionar que la Tesi ha estat duta a terme en el context d'un projecte empresarial (HexaScreen Culture Technologies) l'objectiu del qual ha estat el desenvolupament de Minibioreactors d'un sol ús orientats al mon de la recerca Biofarmacèutica. Òbviament això ha comportant un número important de compromisos a l'hora d'abordar les diferents tasques, així com el plantejament de solucions imaginatives per a la resolució dels diferents reptes tecnològic. Per aquest motiu i per tal de transmetre una millor idea de l'abast del treball realitzat, es va decidir incloure en la tesi no només la descripció del mètode i resultats relacionats amb l'estimació de la O.U.R. sinó amés una descripció prou detallada dels sistemes desenvolupats. Pel que fa al tema central de la tesi, es demostra la viabilitat d'un procediment simplificat per a l'estimació de la demanda d’oxigen. Es tracta d'una revisió del procediment d'estimació de la OUR en condicions de concentració estacionària en la fase líquida que permet reduir-ne el cost de implementació tot prescindint de l'ús de cabalímetres màssics, així com a diferència del mètode dinàmic (Tècnica més habitual) evitar cap mena de canvi en la tensió d’oxigen que pogués afectar l’activitat normal de les cèl·lules. El mètode proposat, es basa en el control de la concentració d’oxigen mitjançant actuació PWM de les vàlvules d'aereació i l’ús dels propis senyals del llaç de control per tal d'estimar la O.U.R.

L'une des caractéristiques principales de la méditation de pleine conscience est la réalisation que les événements perçus ou imaginés ne sont pas nécessairement une représentation exacte de la réalité, un processus connu sous le nom de déréification. La déréification est aussi l'objectif de nombreuses approches psychothérapeutiques, puisque l'on sait que l'immersion excessive dans le mental peut être liée à la détresse psychologique et à certains troubles psychiatriques. L'objectif de notre étude était d'évaluer dans quelle mesure la réification des contenus mentaux (réalisme subjectif) contribue aux dispositions automatiques et de comprendre les mécanismes permettant aux pratiques de méditation de les modifier. Notre hypothèse principale était que la reconnaissance du réalisme subjectif grâce aux pratiques méditatives de pleine conscience réduit le biais cognitif. Nous avons mené deux études auprès de méditants novices et expérimentés. Dans la première nous avons exploré l'effet d'une instruction brève de pleine présence sur l'attitude envers la nourriture, pour étudier comment le réalisme subjectif module les tendances automatiques d'approche et d'évitement. La seconde étude nous a permis d'explorer l'impact de la méditation sur la modulation des attentes sémantiques automatiques dans un paradigme de narration. Nous avons adopté une approche neurophénoménologique, combinant des données moléculaires, physiologiques, électroencéphalographiques et comportementales, avec des données à la première personne recueillies à l'aide d'auto-évaluations et d'entretiens qualitatifs. Dans l'ensemble, nos résultats multimodaux ont confirmé notre hypothèse selon laquelle la déréalisation peut entraîner la réduction du biais cognitif. Les résultats de l'exploration phénoménologique indiquent que les participants ont utilisé différentes stratégies cognitives pour réaliser la déréification, et que de telles stratégies varient en fonction de l'expérience en méditation. Les participants novices utilisent plus souvent des stratégies de type réévaluation cognitive et régulation émotionnelle, qui se reflètent dans la modulation des composantes tardives des potentiels évoqués (PE) cérébraux. En revanche les méditants utilisent moins souvent des stratégies élaboratives, en accord avec la modulation de composantes plus précoces des PE
One of the key features of Mindful meditation is realizing that imagined or perceived events are not necessarily an accurate depiction of reality, a process known as dereification. Dereification is also a target of many psychotherapeutic approaches, as excessive immersion into one's mental contents has been related to psychological distress and several psychiatric conditions. The aim of this study was to investigate to what extent engagement with mental content as being real (i.e. subjective realism) can bias automatic tendencies toward the world, and to elucidate the mechanisms by which meditation practices can modulate it. Our main hypothesis was that recognizing subjective realism during mindfulness-related practices de-automatizes cognitive bias.We ran two studies in naïve and experienced meditators: Firstly, we explored the effect of a brief mindful-attention instruction on a food engagement paradigm to investigate how subjective realism modulates automatic approach-avoidance tendencies. Secondly, we explored whether mindful-attention meditation could modulate automatic semantic expectations in a modified storytelling paradigm. We used a neurophenomenological approach, combining molecular, physiological, electroencephalographic (EEG) and behavioral data, with first-person data collected using self-reports and qualitative interviews.Overall, behavioral, physiological and EEG results supported our hypothesis that derealization can prompt des-automatization of cognitive bias. Neurophenomenological accounts indicate that participants used different cognitive strategies to achieve dereification, and that such strategies vary as a function of meditation expertise, among others. Naïve participants use more often cognitive reappraisal/emotional regulation-type strategies, which are reflected in the modulation of late ERP components. In contrast, meditators used less often elaborative strategies as reflected by the modulation of early sensory ERPs

The thesis is focused on workflow processes and systems for their design and management. It tries to show readers more familiar way with the nature of these systems and features that should support. It tries to accomplish three goals. The first goal is to determine the criteria by which you can judge the quality of workflow management system. These criteria must be sorted by the importance of specific situations, which are designed weighting of the criteria and technique for their calculation. The second goal of this work is the selection of appropriate tools for testing and subsequent practical test, focusing on appointment criteria and metrics selected for their assessment. The third goal is the inclusion of a practical example of a real process design modifications to make it suitable for using of workflow system to increase its effectiveness. Selected process is the transfer of information between school studies and legal guardians of students by e-mail, prepared for Secondary school, Dubno. The thesis is splitted in two halves for achieving the objectives of the work.The first two chapters are about the theoretical introduce, what benefits can bring the use of workflow systems and what steps to take to be able to effectively and meaningfully utilized. These informations were used from the literature focused primarily on workflow and process management. The third chapter focuses on the practical part, where the selected studies focused on the evaluation criteria workflow systems, build a suitable combination of the current set of criteria and application to selected systems management workflow. In the last chapter of the thesis are processed informations obtained from employees of SOS and SOU Dubno and where is described the current state of that process, a proposal how to make it more effective with using workflow system. Contribution of this thesis is the first assess of the current state workflow on the market and, secondly, the possibility of its use to increase the efficiency of the administrative process SOS and SOU Dubno.

The presented PhD thesis aims to verify the possibilities of using capacitive accelerate sensors on the crane and handling technology. Capacitive acceleration sensors of MEMS type are currently widely used in electronics, e.g. laptops and mobile phones. Using these sensors could help to automate cranes, which would eventually reduce the financial costs of material handling. Precise knowledge of their own condition and position of the machine and the load is a necessary part of autonomous manipulators. The first part of thesis deals with the exploration of scientific research in the Czech Republic and abroad. Furthermore the options of mathematical description of moving the load on the rope tow are described including solved examples. One chapter is devoted to the description of sensors that could be used in the automation of cranes. The main part is focused on description of several experiments. The experiments were conducted in a lab constructed specially for this measurement. Mainly basic simpler models are described illustrating abilities of the sensor. The last part outlines further possible progress of research in this area.

Las actividades industriales han dejado contaminación en el suelo, el aire y el agua en todo el mundo. Las emisiones de SOx provenientes de gases de combustión requieren tratamiento antes de su liberación al medio ambiente. Los tratamientos fisicoquímicos convencionales utilizados hasta ahora son costosos y requieren mucho tiempo. Además, esos tratamientos también generan aguas residuales que requieren un procesamiento adicional. Para superar el desafío del tratamiento de SOx, se propone un nuevo enfoque que utiliza un método biológico respetuoso con el medio ambiente. El proceso se basa en una adsorción selectiva de SOx, seguida de un tratamiento biológico de dos etapas. Una vez adsorbidos los SOx, se someten a una primera etapa biocatalítica, en la que los microorganismos reductores de sulfato catalizan su conversión en sulfuro de hidrógeno. Posteriormente, se realiza una segunda etapa biocatalítica por microorganismos oxidantes de sulfuro, obteniendo finalmente azufre elemental. Un punto crucial que tratar en este proceso biotecnológico es la cuantificación en tiempo real de las especies de azufre antes y después de cada etapa biocatalítica. Los métodos convencionales, tales como la gravimetría, la turbidimetría, la nefelometría, la electroforesis capilar y la cromatografía iónica se han utilizado para la cuantificación de especies de azufre. Aunque esos métodos se han implementado de manera abrumadora hace unas décadas, no son adecuados para mediciones in situ y en tiempo real, requieren personal capacitado, son costosos y consumen mucho tiempo. Por lo tanto, existe la necesidad de proporcionar nuevos sistemas analíticos que puedan reemplazar a los convencionales. Las plataformas microfluídicas se han estudiado debido a su posibilidad de reemplazar un laboratorio convencional totalmente equipado. Las ventajas bien conocidas de estos sistemas de detección incluyen: compacidad, bajo consumo de muestra, producción de bajo coste, mejor monitoreo y control de procesos, análisis en tiempo real y una respuesta rápida. Estas características abren la posibilidad de realizar medidas in situ y en tiempo real. Además, funcionan de tal manera que el pretratamiento de la muestra y el ensayo químico se pueden realizar en su interior. Su diseño ergonómico y fácil de usar les permite adaptarse fácilmente para realizar el análisis deseado simplemente modificando la geometría de los canales. Estas características hacen que la microfluídica sea de interés en procesos que requieren múltiples análisis al mismo tiempo. Para la producción de sistemas analíticos miniaturizados se han utilizado varias técnicas de microfabricación (por ejemplo, micromaquinado, estampado en caliente, moldeo por inyección, ablación por láser, micromilling y litografía) y materiales (por ejemplo, silicio, polímeros, metales, cerámica, etc.). No obstante, todos estos métodos requieren personal capacitado, son costosos y requieren mucho tiempo. Además, requieren más pasos de procesamiento (por ejemplo, grabado químico, sellado, etc.) después de la fabricación. Hoy en día, los científicos han estado explorando nuevas metodologías para producir tales sistemas analíticos de una manera más factible y más barata. En esta tesis, se promueve el uso de tecnologías de impresión (impresión por chorro de tinta, serigrafía e impresión 3D) para producir plataformas analíticas para la cuantificación de compuestos químicos relevantes en reactores biotecnológicos y en el medio ambiente (S2-, SO42- and NO2-). Por lo tanto, el estado del arte de los dispositivos microfluídicos y los sistemas analíticos impresos se han desarrollado ampliamente:
Modern industrial activities have left wide-spread hazardous pollution in soil, air and water across the globe. Emissions of SOx coming from flue gases require treatment before their release into the environment. Conventional physic-chemical treatments used hitherto are expensive and time-consuming. Moreover, those treatments also generate wastewater that requires further processing. To overcome the SOx treatment challenge, a new approach using environmentally friendly biological method is proposed. The process is based on a selective adsorption of SOx, followed by a two-stage biological treatment. Once the SOx are adsorbed they undergo a first biocatalytic stage, in which sulfate-reducing microorganisms catalyze their conversion into hydrogen sulfide. Afterwards, a second biocatalytic stage by sulfide-oxidizing microorganisms is done, finally obtaining elemental sulfur. A crucial point to address in this biotechnological process is the real-time quantification of sulfur species before and after each biocatalytic stage. Conventional methods, such as gravimetry, turbidimetry, nephelometry, capillary electrophoresis and ionic chromatography have been widely used for sulfur species quantification. Although those methods have been overwhelmingly implemented a few decades ago, they are not suitable of in situ real-time measurements, require trained personnel and they are costly and time consuming. Therefore, there is a need to provide new analytical systems that can replace conventional ones. Microfluidic platforms have been extensively studied due to their possibility of replacing a fully equipped conventional laboratory. Well-known advantages of these microfluidic sensing systems include: compactness, low sample consumption, low-cost production, better overall monitoring and process control, real-time analysis and a fast response. These characteristics open the possibility of performing in situ and real-time measurements. Also, they operate in such a manner that sample pre-treatment as well as chemical assay can be performed therein. Their ergonomic and user-friendly design allows them to be easily adapted to perform a desired analysis just by simply modifying the geometry of the channels. These features make microfluidics of interest in processes that require multiple analyses at the same time. Several microfabrication techniques (e.g., micromachining, hot embossing, injection molding, laser ablation, micromilling and soft lithography) and materials (e.g., silicon, polymers, metals, ceramics, etc.) have been used for the production of miniaturized analytical systems. Nonetheless, all these methods require trained personnel and are expensive and time consuming. Moreover, they require further processing steps (e.g., etching, sealing, etc.) after the fabrication. Nowadays, scientists have been exploring new methodologies to produce such analytical systems in a more feasible and cheaper manner. In this thesis, the use of printing technologies (inkjet printing, screen-printing and 3D printing) to produce analytical platforms for quantification of relevant chemical compounds in biotechnological reactors and in the environment (S2-, SO42- and NO2-) are promoted. Hence, the state-of-the-art of microfluidic devices and the printed analytical systems have been widely developed.

The semi-automatic building of QM/MM models of rhodopsins has been recently proposed, by means of a new technology called Automatic Rhodopsin Model protocol. In its original version, here called original ARM protocol, published in 2016, the constructed QM/MM models were found to be useful for biophysical studies and for protein engineering, but had the disadvantage of being time-consuming to prepare, error-prone, and, also, difficult to replicate when the same model was independently constructed by different investigators. These issues were a consequence of the <> (i.e., not fully automated) nature of the protocol, since (i) the generation of its input was achieved through <> of the template structure and (ii) the code (i.e., the computer program) for the construction of the QM/MM model was written as a non homogeneous collection of bash scripts, not driven by a parent program. Such methodological and computational pitfalls impaired the possibility of comparatively studying hundreds of rhodopsins (i.e., light-sensitive proteins belonging to the same superfamily), as well as hoping that, in the future, a similar protocol could be generalized to other families of light-responsive proteins (e.g., Xanthorhodopsin, phytochromes or synthetic rhodopsin mimics) of interest for biological or biotechnological applications. In order to overcome the above drawbacks, this doctoral Thesis is devoted to the design of a substantially improved ARM methodological framework, characterized by a fully automated, rather than manual, construction of QM/MM models. Accordingly, I introduce the blueprinting of four different ARM-based fully automatic protocols for the QM/MM modeling of rhodopsin electronically excited states. Furthermore, I present their implementation into a new, user-friendly, Python-based software package, called ARM software package, conceived for allowing the use of each protocol via a ``one-click'' command given either at the command-line or, in certain cases, Web-interface levels. Finally, I report on the performance of the four ARM-based protocols, highlighting both their methodological and scientific capabilities as well as their current limitations. To do so, I have constructed and employed a benchmark set of about 150 wild-type and mutant rhodopsins, as well as carried out selected applications, directed to the prediction of trends in light-induced properties, including absorption and emission spectra, as well as excited-state molecular dynamics. Such trends unveil different mechanistic aspects of color tuning and fluorescence emission, as well as, more in perspective, the systematic prediction of photoisomerization quantum yields. In conclusion, the research carried out during my doctoral Thesis has generated and explored novel, automated, ARM-based research tools and, most importantly, a programming framework called the ARM package. I believe that these tools and package have the potential to be generalized, thanks to their characteristics that I will thoroughly describe. In other words, my hope is that the research line started with my thesis will not only be useful for achieving better performing QM/MM models of rhodopsins but be expanded to deal with other sets of light-responsive proteins useful, for instance, in optogenetic studies.

Nuolat besikeičiantys reikalavimai duomenims didina atotrūkį tarp norimos apdoroti ir galimos apdoroti informacijos. Taigi išlaikyti duomenų bazę suderintą su poreikiais yra sudėtinga. Nuolat besikeičiantys poreikiai didina informacinės sistemos palaikymo sąnaudas. O tai smulkaus verslo įmonėms gali tapti nepakeliama našta. Kyla poreikis pačiam sistemos vartotojui pakoreguoti ją taip, kad sistema tenkintų pasikeitusius reikalavimus duomenų apdorojimui. Databases are designed according to specific requirements, and in most cases it is carried out manually. Having database already designed, software tools to manage the particular database are developed. Usually the result meets user’s needs, but just on a short term basis. Since the requirements keep changing constantly, gap between information to be processed and information possible to process in practice is growing bigger, so it is complicated to keep the database updated according to user’s needs. Shifting needs have significant influence on information system support input, which can become a challenge to minor businesses. Therefore particular system users have to modify it themselves to meet the changing requirements of data processing. This final thesis analyses the development of database using data filling templates designed by the user. According to the templates designed by the user, information system user interface for data processing keeps changing as well. The purpose is automatic design of database and its management system, and development of algorithm to automate database and its management system. In case the system is based on this algorithm, its user having very little knowledge of database development still is able to design a database and to shape its management system according to his needs. Tidigare studier har visat att den digitala utvecklingen är en stor del i dagens samhälle, inte minst för organisationer. Digitalisering kan kortfattat beskrivas som ett skifte från analogt till digitalt. En stor del av den tidigare forskningen inom detta område har berört hur redovisningen påverkas generellt. Studien undersöker olika organisationers redovisningsprocess och hur processen påverkas av digitalisering. Olika organisationer ser strukturmässigt olika ut och de agerar då även olika när det gäller förändringar, digitaliseringsförändringar. I studien är digitalisering ett centralt begrepp, digitalisering innebär att organisationer kan använda förnyade digitala hjälpmedel som lagrar, sammanställer och arkiverar redovisningen.   Syftet med studien är att undersöka på vilket sätt redovisningsprocessen i olika organisationer har påverkats av digitaliseringen. För att uppnå studiens syfte har en kvalitativ metod tillämpats där fyra organisationer har intervjuats. Analysen är genomförd utifrån presenterad empiri i relation till teoretiska referensramen. Utifrån studiens resultat är slutsatsen att grunderna i redovisningsprocessen är oförändrade i de olika organisationerna. Däremot har tillvägagångssätten i redovisningsprocessen i de olika organisationer påverkats av digitaliseringen.
Previous studies show that digitalization development is a central part of today's society and is an important role for organisations. Digitalization can be explained as a shift from analogue to digital. Previous research within the subject has researched how accountancy is generally affected. This study explores different organisations  accounting process and how the process is affected by digitalization. Different organisations vary regarding structure and also acts different regarding digitalization changes. In the study, digitalization is a central construct and means that organisations can use renewed and digital aid that accommodate, compile and archive accounting.  The purpose of this study is to research how the accounting process in various organisations is affected by digitalization. To achieve the purpose, a qualitative method was applied, and four organisations has been interviewed. The analysis is carried through from a presented empire in relation to the theoretical framework. This study shows that the basics in accounting process remains the same in the different organisations. However the digitalization has affected the approach within the accounting process.

Technology has been developing over the last decades and the phenomenon of digitalization is becoming a reality for all industries. For supply chain managers, it is becoming a necessity to use the new technology to create interoperable systems that can increase responsiveness, transparency and cost efficiency of their supply chains, in order to meet the more demanding customer expectations and business environments. Changing business environments force companies to enter new markets where margins might be lower, which requires more cost efficient supply chains. Company X, the commissioning company for this research is an example of a company struggling with this. They are starting to develop Information and Communication Technology (ICT) products, which have lower margins than previous products. Company X, who is about to start the journey of digitalizing their supply chains, would therefore benefit from knowing what value adds that digitalization can bring. There is currently a gap within the field of supply chain management regarding evaluation of digitalization projects. Therefore, this study investigates the main drivers, factors that enable changes and affect value adds, of digitalization of supply chains, the changes these drivers result in and the value adds of these. The study also contributes with a framework for future evaluation of digitalization projects.The study was conducted with case studies at three companies, which are all comparable to Company X in both size and business. The investigated companies are all global producers of ICT-products who have conducted a digitalization of their supply chains.The main finding of this study is that the overall driver for digitalization according to the case companies is Standardization and Simplification, and all case companies state that this is the main goal for digitalizing the supply chain. Furthermore, automatization from tender to invoice is one of the major changes that standardization and simplification of the Supply Chain Information Technology (SCIT) enables. This improves the information flow between all silos within the supply chain and also helps increase order reliability, responsiveness and scalability as well as improve integration and collaboration with partners and suppliers, and it increases the overall process and cost efficiency. This all helps to increase the customer experience and satisfaction, which is stated as the major value add from digitalization of the supply chain according to the case companies.

Os aplicativos móveis, desenvolvidos originalmente para a área do entretenimento, hoje estão presentes nos mais diversos domínios, sendo comuns inclusive em áreas de alto valor agregado, como: varejista, logística, bancária, médica, entre outras. Portanto, a qualidade e correção dos aplicativos móveis tornam-se obrigatórios e as atividades de teste essenciais. Porém a qualidade das aplicações móveis nem sempre é satisfatória. Isso ocorre devido ao fato dessas aplicações sofrerem com a pressão do mercado e passarem por um processo muito rápido de desenvolvimento, onde geralmente a fase de testes é negligenciada ou realizada de forma superficial, pela própria equipe de desenvolvimento, comprometendo assim a qualidade da aplicação. Este trabalho propõe uma abordagem baseada no Behavior Driven Development para ajudar na definição de testes de sistema para aplicativos nativos do Android. A abordagem proposta utiliza os arquivos de leiaute da aplicação para extrair informações sobre os componentes da interface e sobre os eventos esperados pelo sistema. A partir dessas informações, é possível verificar a cobertura dos cenários existentes em relação aos eventos disponíveis na interface com o usuário. Além disso, é possível identificar elementos do leiaute que não são exercitados pelos cenários existentes. A abordagem proposta é implementada por uma ferramenta chamada Android Behavior Testing Tool que, por meio da interpretação dos cenários do Behavior Driven Development, fornece uma visão geral do fluxo comportamental da aplicação ao testador (visão hoje não disponível), proporcionando assim uma noção de fácil compreensão sobre a cobertura dos testes em relação aos elementos da interface do aplicativo. Desta forma, o testador pode julgar a integridade dos casos de teste disponíveis em relação às funcionalidades implementadas e, se necessário, implementar novos testes. A ferramenta também faz uso dos arquivos de leiaute do aplicativo para identificar os componentes da interface que não foram testados e gera, neste caso, modelos de cenários no formato do BDD, automatizando assim a tarefa de escrita dos mesmos. A abordagem proposta foi utilizada em quatro aplicativos Android e se mostrou útil, uma vez que, em três estudos de caso foram detectados bugs oriundos de inconsistências lógicas nos cenários ou elementos não exercitados pelos cenários.
Mobile applications, originally developed for entertainment, nowadays are present in a wide range of domains, being common even in areas of high value such as retailer, logistics, banking, and medical, among others. However, the quality and correctness of mobile applications become mandatory and testing activities are essential. However, the quality of mobile applications is not always good enough. This is because these applications suffer from market pressure and pass through a very rapid development process where the testing phase usually is neglected or superficially performed by the development team itself, thus compromising the quality of the application. This work proposes an approach based on Behavior Driven Development to help to define system tests for native Android applications. The proposed approach uses the application's layout files to extract information about the interface components and the events expected by the system. From this information, it is possible to check out the coverage of existing test scenarios against events available in the user interface. In addition, it is possible to identify unexercised usage scenarios from the existing test scenarios. The proposed approach is implemented by a tool called Android Behavior Testing Tool which, through the interpretation of the BDD usage scenarios, provides to the tester an overview of the behavioral flow of the application (otherwise unavailable), thus providing a notion of easy understanding of test coverage in relation to the application interface elements. In this way, the tester can judge the integrity of the available test cases in relation to the functionalities implemented and, if necessary, implement new tests. The tool also makes use of the application's layout files to identify untested interface components and in this case generates test scenario models in the BDD format, thus automating the writing task of the scenarios. The proposed approach was used in four Android applications and proved to be useful, since in three case studies bugs were detected. Detected bugs originated from logical inconsistencies in the test scenarios or elements that were not exercised by the scenarios.

Розроблені в дисертаційній роботі нові методики складання кошторису, фінансування капітшіьного будівництва та капітальних вкладень, організації та проведення тендерів з фінансово-господарської діяльності, а також схеми складання звіту про рух грошових коштів і автоматизації бюджетних розрахунків банку дозволяють забезпечити організацію дієвого контролю за виконанням бюджету та використанням коштів банку, про що свідчить практичне використання рекомендацій автора в системі Національного банку України.
The dissertation studies the problems of organizing the process of budget planning, internal finance management and organizing finance management at banks. On the basis of investigation of the actual state of affairs concerning the organization of the budgetary process at commercial banks the author, using the example of the National Bank of Ukraine, substantiated the principles and developed the schemes of organizing budgetary planning, management of banks' internal financial funds, accounting and control over the usage of funds. The new methods developed in the dissertation work on budget planning, financing of capital building and capital investments, holding tenders on financial and economic activity, and also the plans of making reports on money movement, automatization of the bank's financial accounts which provide control over the budget's execution. The author's recommendations are practically used within the system of the National Bank of Ukraine.

Detta examensarbete har utförts på uppdrag av DeLaval, ett företag inom mjölkningsindustrin. Projektets huvudmålsättning var att automatisera kalibreringen av DeLavals mjölkningsrobot VMS v300. Kalibreringen av mjölkmätarna, som mäter mängden mjölk under mjölkning, måste ske manuellt. Dagens kalibreringsprocess är ICAR-godkänd vilket innebär att ICAR sätter upp riktlinjer för hur noggrann mätningen ska vara för att vara godkänd. Arbetet har utförts på distans vilket innebär att det endast finns teoretiska beräkningar, enklare skisser, och teoretiska modeller i rapporten.  Arbetet inleds med en faktagenomgång, där processen kring hur kalibreringen utförs förtydligas. Vidare förklaras även hur mycket mjölk som fås av en ko under en mjölkning, vilken mjölkmätare som används, kalibreringsparametrar, lösningsförslag, och hur den automatiserade kalibreringen av en AMR (Automatic Milking Rotary) fungerar. Med hjälp av matematiska beräkningar och simuleringar utvärderas lösningsförslagen. Slutsatsen är att nivåmätaren, som nu finns placerad och kan användas i VMS:en, inte når de krav som ställs på kalibreringen. Istället kan en ultraljudssensor ersätta den nuvarande nivåmätaren och erhålla en godkänd kalibreringsprocess. Detta innebär att kalibreringsprocessen kan automatiseras.
This report is a thesis commissioned by the dairy industry company DeLaval. The main objective of theproject was to automate DeLaval's calibration of its milking robot VMS v300. At present, DeLavalneeds to manually calibrate the milk meters, that measure the amount of milk during milking, to getan accurately measured amount of milk. Today's calibration process is ICAR-approved, which meansthat ICAR sets guidelines for how accurate the measurement must be for approval. The work has been carried out remotely, which means that there are only theoretical calculations,simpler sketches, and theoretical models in the report. The work begins with a factual review, which clarifies the process of how the calibration is performed.Furthermore, it is also explained how much milk is obtained by a cow during milking, which milkmeter is used, calibration parameters, solution suggestions, and how the automated calibration of anAutomatic Milking Rotary (AMR) works. By means of mathematical calculations and simulations, a model is set up to evaluate the solutionproposals, which resulted in a feasible model. The conclusion for the work is that the level meter,which is now located and can be used in the VMS, does not meet the requirements set for thecalibration. Instead, an ultrasonic sensor can replace the current level meter and obtain an approvedcalibration process. This means that the calibration process can be automated.

Digitalisering av samhällsbyggnadsprocessen är något som myndigheter i Sverige arbetar mycket med. Den långsiktiga målbilden är att skapa ett öppet, obrutet digitalt informationsutbyte genom hela samhällsbyggnadsprocessen för att göra den mer effektiv. Det finns även en vision om att möjliggöra automatisering av beslutsprocesser som upplåtelser av mark och rättigheter, samt prövning av bygglov med hjälp av digitala detaljplaner. Digitalisering av planeringsprocessen sker både på nationell, regional och kommunal nivå, där Boverket utvecklar regler om nya digitala detaljplaner och vägledning om digitalisering av befintliga detaljplaner. Denna studie syftar till använda digitala detaljplaner i tidigt skede och i planprocessen av nybebyggelseprojekt för effektivisering av processer i projekten. Utöver det, identifiera möjligheten att införa automatiserade processer i beslutsstöd genom digitala detaljplaner och belysa svagheter och begränsningar med digitala detaljplane-data i dagsläget.En fallstudie har utförts där digitala detaljplaner har använts och bearbetats i QGIS, ett geografiskt informationssystem (GIS), för att effektivisera processer genom digitalisering och belysa svagheter och begränsningar med digitala detaljplane-data. Intervjuer har utförts för att identifiera vilka egenskaper hos digitalisering och automatisering som kan vara till fördel för kommuner och fastighetsutvecklare, samt diskutera begränsningar.Utvärdering av resultat från fallstudier har visat att digitala detaljplaner kan utföra grundläggande uppgifter kopplade till planprocessen och ersätta nuvarande manuella uppgifter i olika faser av projektprocessen, som att hitta byggrätter och effektiv tolkning. Slutsatsen är att processer i idé-fasen och i planprocessen kan effektiviseras med hjälp utav digitala detaljplaner. Med automatiserade processer kan tid och resurser sparas på kommunal nivå. Fördelen är framförallt att flera planområden, egenskaps- och områdesbestämmelser kan analyseras samtidigt om detaljplanerna görs tillgängliga digitalt, vilket möjliggör kvantifiering av areor, exploateringsgrad och effektiv identifiering av obebyggda byggrätter på regional nivå istället för att manuellt analysera en plan i taget. Problemet med att införa automatiserade beslutsstöd i processer är att det uppstår tolkningsfel vid digitalisering av äldre detaljplaner och de begränsningar som finns beträffande bestämmelser som inte kan representeras av geografiska objekt i nuvarande detaljplaner. Många av dessa felkällor som uppstår kan potentiellt lösas med en uppdatering av standarder och införda rutiner vid tolkning och digitalisering.
Great work has been done to achieve Swedish authorities’ long-term goal of an open, continuous digital exchange of information throughout the entire urban development process to make it more efficient. The use of digital information in physical planning is proceeded on a national, regional and municipal level, where the Swedish National Board of Housing, Building and Planning develop regulations for new digital detailed development plans and guidelines in the digitising of old detailed development plans. Further, the vision is to enable automated decisions to support administration, such as assessment of building permit applications. This study aims to find tasks in initiation and physical planning phases of new development projects that can be carried out digitally, to make them more efficient, identify possibilities of implementing supporting automated tasks using digital plan data and address limitations of translating regulations of current detailed development plans into geospatial data in digital plans.A case study is performed where data of digital detailed development plans is processed in QGIS, a geographic information system (GIS), to try carry out tasks digitally to make them more efficient, further finding limitations with the current data of digital detailed development plans. Interviews are conducted to identify benefits of digital information and automated processes and discuss data limitations.Evaluation of the results of the case study has shown that digital detailed development plans are able to perform simple tasks related to the physical planning process and replace manual tasks in new development projects, such as finding development rights.It is found that some tasks in initiation and physical planning phases of new development projects can be facilitated using digital detailed development plans. The strength is that time and resources can be saved and used for other work on a municipal level since zoned regulations of several plans can be analysed simultaneously if the data is stored in a common database, enabling quantification of areas, development rates and effective identification of unused development rights on a larger scale instead of one plan at a time. However, because of interpretational issues when plans are digitised and limitations of regulations that cannot be represented by geometric objects, automated decision support may not be proceeded with the current digital plans. It can potentially be solved with updated standards and introduced routines for interpretation and digitisation.

Medan digitaliseringen kommit långt i utveckling inom företagande och samhället i stort så har redovisnings- och revisionsmetoder stått stilla.Ett koncept som har kommit att bli aktuellt i tomrummet mellan digitaliseringens framväxt och revisionsmetoders traditionella utförande är Continuous Auditing. Konceptet har forskats kring under en relativt lång tid, varvid förhoppningen var att företag skulle ta till sig konceptet och byta ut sina omoderna revisionsmetoder. Bland annat förespråkas att revisionen borde utföras på ett mer proaktivt sätt och att automatiserade lösningar ska ersätta manuella utföranden. Undersökningar har visat på att Continuous Auditing enbart har tillämpats i en begränsad utsträckning. Syftet med denna studie är därmed att utreda varför så är fallet genom att undersöka huvudanvändarna, internrevisorernas inställning till konceptet.För att genomföra undersökningen tillämpar denna studie en kvalitativ forskningsansats med hjälp av semistrukturerade intervjuer med internrevisorer. Intervjuerna och analysen kring dessa har utgått ifrån en teoretisk referensram bestående av tidigare litteratur och forskning inom internrevision, Continuous auditing och teori kring teknologitillämpning.Bland annat ger resultatet uttryck för att studiens internrevisorer är öppna för att införa närliggande koncept och upplever att det finns ett behov av att införa sådana i företag. Däremot råder det tveksamheter kring vilka användarna av sådana koncept ska vara.
There is a discussion about the current way of conducting business that contains a digitalized structure in the form of information- and enterprise systems where the digital information is vital. According to research this new environment requires new methods for measurement and reporting. While the development of the digitalization in businesses and society has gone far, the accounting and auditing methods have not.One concept that has become relevant in the process of digitalization is Continuous Auditing. There has been research about the concept for a while and there was a hope that businesses would start adopting it and switch from traditional auditing methods. For instance, the research has spoken about the possibility to do auditing in a more proactive way and implement automated technology. However, the research has shown that the concept only has been implemented in a few cases. This study has the purpose to examine why through examining the main users, the internal auditors` attitudes towards the concept.This study has applied a qualitative approach with the help of semi-structured interviews with internal auditors. The interviews and the analysis have been formed by previous literature and conducted research on internal auditing, continuous auditing and also theory about technology adoption.For instance, the results of this study were that internal auditors are willing to adopt similar concepts and are feeling the need to implement such. However, it is unclear whether the users should be internal auditors.
