Based on some estimations obtained in three auxiliary results, we use this form of the Gronwall’s inequality to prove the uniqueness of solution for the mixed initial-boundary value problem considered in this context. Abstract:
The study investigates basically, the electric field distribution in a semi-closed region. Specifically, the present work focuses on the electromagnetic wave diffraction at 3.5 GHz in the vicinity of a car where two humans are located inside. The car is modeled as the perfect electric conducting object whereas the human bodies are assumed to be homogeneous lossy dielectrics. To obtain field distributions for different sceneries, the Method of Auxiliary Sources (MAS) is employed. To achieve this goal, the auxiliary sources due to each obstacle are distributed over the corresponding surface elem

In physics, as in other sciences, scientific results are often presented formally, without appropriate disclosure of their physical meaning. For example, in the discussion about interacting charged bodies the meaning of charge is not discussed. It is shown that the term "electric charge" in science is conditional and has an auxiliary symbolic meaning. In reality there is a "positive" and "negative" substance in nature. There is no any charge isolated apart from the substance. In fact, in nature there are a proton and an electron as a matter. The substance of the electron and the proton substan

Urban water bodies are crucial in urban planning and flood detection, and they are susceptible to changes due to climate change and rapid urbanization. With the development of high-resolution remote sensing technology and the success of semantic segmentation using deep learning in computer vision, it is possible to extract urban water bodies from high-resolution remote sensing images. However, many urban water bodies are small, oddly shaped, silted, or spectrally similar to other objects, making their extraction extremely challenging. In this paper, we propose a neural network named CM-UNet++,

Dynamic stress intensity factors are important parameters in the dynamic fracture behavior of a cracked body. In this paper, an interaction integral method is utilized to compute the mixed-mode dynamic stress intensity factors of three-dimensional functionally graded material solids. Using a proper definition of actual and auxiliary fields, a new formulation and application of the interaction integral is proposed, which is independent of the derivatives of the material properties. ABAQUS finite element package is applied to analyze the functionally graded material cracked bodies. Accordingly,

Inland bodies of water, such as lakes, play a crucial role in sustaining life and supporting ecosystems. However, with the rapid development of socio-economics, water resources are facing serious pollution problems, such as the eutrophication of water bodies and degradation of wetlands. Therefore, the monitoring, management, and protection of inland water resources are particularly important. In past research, empirical models and machine learning models have been widely used for the water quality assessment of inland lakes. To solve the initial problem, an auxiliary problem is posed with a “remote” cylinder of sufficiently small radius. The solution is based on the reduction method, the concept of quasiderivatives, the Fourier scheme using the modified eigenfunctions method. The solution to the original problem was obtained by following the radius of the remote cylinder to zero.
