Abstract:
To report a case on unusual presentation of Axenfeld Reiger (A-R) syndrome. Axenfeld Rieger syndrome commonly presents with prominent Schwalbe’s line near the limbus. Presentation with displaced Schwalbe’s line is rarely reported. We report 2 cases who presented with bilaterally displaced Schwalbe ring as strange cord like structure in anterior chamber with iris tissue adhesions. Axenfeld – Reiger syndrome is an autosomal dominant disease with ocular findings involving cornea (megalocornea), iris (iris atrophy, correctopia) and angle (anterior insertion of iris, prominent Schwalbe line). Abstract:
Time series analysis is a valuable tool in epidemiology that complements the classical epidemiological models in two different ways: Prediction and forecast. Prediction is related to explaining past and current data based on various internal and external influences that may or may not have a causative role. Forecasting is an exploration of the possible future values based on the predictive ability of the model and hypothesized future values of the external and/or internal influences. The time series analysis approach has the advantage of being easier to use (in the cases of more straightforwar

Anterior segment dysgenesis is a spectrum of ocular malformations of the anterior chamber of the eye and iris. It is classified into various subtypes. We report a case of a four year old boy with overlapping features of the subtypes Axenfeld-Reiger syndrome and Peters’ anomaly with significant extra-oral and oral findings which helped the ophthalmologists to diagnose this rare condition.

Abstract:
Unbalanced chromosomal rearrangements are not common; however, they have a significant clinical expression. The parental balanced translocation produces unbalanced chromosome, which is transmitted to next generation through fertilization of gametes carrying the derivative chromosome. The carriers of balanced rearrangements mostly do not have recognizable phenotypic expression. We report a family comprising of healthy and non-consanguineous young parents and their preemie newborn severely affected with congenital anomalies and systemic disorders.
