Abstract:
Khalifah Umar Bin Abdul Aziz merupakan khalifah kedelapan dari empat belas khalifah yang memimpin Bani Umayyah. Kepemimpinan Umar Bin Abdul Azis dinilai berhasil dalam menerapkan prinsip good governance menjadi fenomena menarik untuk di kaji saat ini. Kajian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan sumbangan pemikiran ilmiah dalam bidang studi ilmu leadership Islam. Data primer dalam penelitian ini adalah dua buku tentang Umar bin Abdul Aziz yang ditulis oleh Ali Muhammad Ash-Shallabi dengan judul “Biografi Umar bin Abdul Aziz“ dan “Umar bin Abdul Aziz Pembaharu dari Bani Umayyah”. Sedangkan yang menjadi data sekunder diperoleh dari bahan bacaan dan referensi-referensi lain terkait dengan tema penelitian ini. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan studi dokumentasi, mengidentifikasi wacana dari buku-buku, makalah atau artikel, majalah, jurnal, web (internet), ataupun informasi lainnya yang terkait dengan tema kajian ini. Sedangkan teknik analisis data dilakukan secara kualitatif serta diuraikan dalam bentuk deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Umar bin Abdul Aziz adalah seorang khalifah Dinasti Umayyah yang berusaha menghidupkan kembali ajaran Islam di tengah-tengah masyarakat. Di dalam sistem kepemimpinannya, Umar berusaha mengangkat gubernur yang terpercaya, membuat perencanaan dan tujuan yang jelas serta melakukan pengawasan terhadap jalannya roda kepemimpinannya. Di antara upaya Umar dalam menjalankan good governance terlihat dalam praktik-praktik kepemimpinan yang dilakukannya seperti menegakkan keadilan, menjalankan prinsip musyawarah, mempraktikkan prinsip persamaan derajat, menerapkan prinsip kebebasan dan bertanggung jawab terhadap kekuasaan yang dipikulnya. Prinsip-prinsip tersebut telah mampu membawa kehidupan kaum muslimin kepada pembaharuan.

Abstract:
Permasalahan penelitian ini adalah makna yang terkandung dalam karya kaligrafi abd. Aziz ahmad dan konsep dalam karya kaligrafi Abd. Aziz Ahmad. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan makna yang terkandung dalam karya kaligrafi abd. Aziz ahmad dan konsep dalam karya abd. Aziz ahmad. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah karya kaligrafi Islam Kontemporer Abd. Aziz Ahmad dengan jumlah 30 karya pada tahun 2017. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Adapun teknik datanya dengan melakukan observasi atau melakukan tinjauan langsung kemudian melakukan wawancara tentang apa yang akan diteliti terhadap orang yang akan memberikan informasi dari penelitian berupa wawancara dan dokumentasi, kemudian diolah dan dianalisis sesuai yang didapatkan, kemudian yang telah didapatkan diolah untuk dianalisis lebih lanjut. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa karya kaligrafi islam kontemporer yang dibuat pada tahun 2017 dengan jumlah 30 karya bersumber dari ayat Al-Quran, Al-Hadist, Do’a dan Ungkapan Hikmah Islamiyah dengan mengangkat tema Aqidah, Muamalat (hubungan sosial) dan tentang Akhlak yang mulia. Karya kaligrafi islam kontemporer abd. Aziz ahmad bermakna sebagai media dalam berdakwah dengan menyuarakan wahyu islam dan nilai-nilai kebaikan serta menjadi media komunikasi untuk memahami hakekat yang Maha Kuasa dengan membawa para pembaca memaknai sesuai dengan ayat-ayat yang tertulis didalam kaligrafi islam kontemporer Abdul Aziz Ahmad. Konsep karya kaligrafi Islam Kontemporer Abdul Aziz Ahmad merupakan media dakwah islamiyah sebagaimana perintah agama Islam dan juga sesuai Sabda Nabi Muhammad SAW yang berbunyi ‘Sampaikanlah dariku walau satu ayat’ yaitu untuk senantiasa menyampaikan ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an sebagai pedoman hidup kepada sesama umat manusia terutama kepada umat muslim.

Abstract:
`Aziz Nasafi is among the most important Islamic mystics of the medieval period. His achievement was to integrate various ideas, including those of Ibn `Arabi and Najm al-Din Kubrä into a coherent whole, providing Persian speaking Sufis with an introduction to the speculative and practical dimensions of Sufism. This thesis is an attempt to present Nasafi's main teachings. After introducing his life, times and works, the second chapter focuses upon ontology. This is the spine of Nasafi's treatises and it is based upon the Sufi interpretation of God's incomparability and similarity (tanzih wa tashbih) and His infinite self-disclosure which occurs within a form processed by the imagination. The second chapter investigates the different forms of knowledge available to Sufis, which includes sense perception, reason and mystical knowledge. Nasafi's presentation depicts all three in a hierarchical structure with Sufi knowledge at the pinnacle. Having discussed the theoretical nature of Sufism, chapter four deals with the practical element of Sufism and how it is able to contribute to felicity in this life. Having followed the Sufi path, it is possible that a wayfarer may experience unity with God. This is examined in chapter five, and Nasafi's description is compared with that of other Sufis in an attempt to show his "orthodox" position within Sufism. It is also argued that modern models of mystical experience do not fit Nasafi's depiction of tashbih-tanzih, and that one also needs to re-think the idea of perennial philosophy. Finally, the perfection of man is considered through examining the relationship between Prophecy and Friendship of God. Sufis interpreted Friendship as the interior element of Prophecy and were able to offer new insights to Islamic doctrine.

This dissertation examines the interdisciplinarity field from reading the researches of geographer Aziz Ab Sáber and from phisical and agronomist engeneer Eneas Salati, with the purpose of linking Knowledge and Nature in their researches. The integrative perspective is present in both scientific legacy and seems to be what earned them significant discoveries about South-American Continent. The idea of interdisciplinary science building is essential to the analysis of contemporary thems, such as climate changes and the rapid and severe impacts of environmental degradation on the ecosystems balance and on the society. The knowledge about Nature of the scientisdt-explores who roamed the Americas is recovered in this study due to its importance of the institutionalization process of Modern Science. But also due to its participation on the Brazilian Geography building. This study is based on the ability of the pioneers in proposing universal laws from the observation of Earth s diversity, realizing a precise point of view in this endeavor, which emanates a particular conjunction of multiple knowledges. Interdisciplinary practice is seen as critical for the advancement of science today. But it must be especially required for complex issues which relate Man and Nature, na investigation area of Geography. The ecological understanding of natural ecosystems is the start up for its problematization and not only in scientific spheres
Esta dissertação analisa o campo da interdisciplinaridade a partir da leitura das pesquisas do geógrafo Aziz Ab Sáber e do físico e engenheiro agrônomo Eneas Salati, procurando relacionar Conhecimento e Natureza em suas pesquisas. A perspectiva integradora está presente em ambos os legados científicos, e parece ser o que lhes rendeu as significantes descobertas sobre o continente sul-americano. A ideia de construção interdisciplinar em ciência é fundamental para a análise de temas contemporâneos, tais como as mudanças climáticas e os rápidos e severos impactos da degradação ambiental sobre o equilíbrio dos ecossistemas e para as sociedades. O conhecimento sobre a natureza dos cientistas-exploradores que percorreram as Américas é recuperado neste estudo pela importância no processo de institucionalização da Ciência Moderna. Mas igualmente por participar da construção da Geografia brasileira. Este trabalho se inspira na capacidade dos pioneiros em propor leis universais partindo da observação da diversidade da Terra, percebendo nessa empreitada um ponto de vista acurado que emana da conjunção particular de múltiplos saberes. A prática interdisciplinar é considerada como fundamental para o avanço das ciências nos dias atuais, mas deve ser especialmente requerida para as complexas questões que relacionam Homem e Natureza, área de investigação da Geografia. Abstract:
Aziz Nuri Yüzellilikler listesinde “Askeriyeden ve Mülkiyeden Olanlar” başlığı altında 40. Sırada yer almıştır. Bulgaristan’dan göçen bir aileden gelmektedir. Meşrutiyet düşüncesine karşıdır. Bu nedenle 1908 sonrasında Anadolu’ya kaçmış, bir süre saklanmıştır. 1911’de İstanbul’a dönmüş, Mahmut Şevket Paşa’ya yapılan suikast sonrasında Sinop’a sürgün edilmiş, ancak sürgünden kaçarak Mısır’a gitmeyi başarmıştır. Dünya savaşı süresince Kahire’de yaşamıştır. Mütarekeden sonra İstanbul’a dönmüş, önce İngiliz Karargâhı’nda ardından Kuvayı Milliye’yi dağıtmak üzere Bursa’da görevlendirilmiştir. Bursa’da Millicilerin egemen olmaması için var gücüyle çalışmıştır. Mart 1920’de bu çalışmaları nedeniyle Milliciler tarafından tutuklanmış, Kütahya’ya sürülmüştür. Ancak kaçarak 8 Temmuz 1920’de Yunanlarca işgal edilen Bursa’ya gelmiştir. Yunan işgal komutanları Albay Cirolis ve Petridis ile çalışmaya başlamış, Muhacirin Müdürlüğü’ne atanmıştır. Kurduğu İslam Muhacirleri Yardım Cemiyeti aracılığı ile Bursa halkını haraca bağlamıştır. Mücahede ve İntibah gazetelerini çıkararak kamuoyu oluşturmaya çalışmış, Osmanlı Hükümeti’nin atadığı valileri çalıştırmamış, vali vekilliğini üzerine almıştır. Milli Mücadele’nin zaferle sonuçlanmasının ardından Yunan Ordusu ile birlikte kaçarak Atina’ya yerleşmiştir. Bildirimizde Aziz Nuri’nin 13 Kasım 1937’de Yunan Kralı II. Abstract:
Two-phase flow pipelines are utilized in simultaneous transferring of liquid and gas from reservoir fields to production units and refineries. In order to obtain the hydraulic design of pipelines, pressure drop and liquid holdup were calculated following pipeline flow regime determination. Two semi-empirical and mechanistical models were used. Empirical models e.g. Beggs & Brill, 1973, are only applicable in certain situations were pipeline conditions are adaptable to the model; therefore we used the Taitel & Dukler, 1976, Baker et al., 1988, Petalas & Aziz, 1998, and Gomez et al., 1999, mechanistical models which are practical in more extensive conditions. The FLOPAT code was designed and utilized which is capable of the determining the physical properties of the fluid by either compositional or non-compositional (black oil) fluid models. It was challenged in various pipeline positions e. g. horizontal, vertical and inclined. Specification of the flow regime and also pressure drop and liquid holdup could precisely be calculated by mechanistical models. The flow regimes considered in the pipeline were: stratified, wavy & annular (Segregated Flow), plug & slug (Intermittent Flow) and bubble & mist (Distributive Flow). We also compared output results against the Stanford Multiphase Flow Database which were used by Petalas & Aziz, 1998, and the effect of the flow rate, pipeline diameter, inclination, temperature and pressure on the flow regime, liquid holdup and pressure drop were studied. The outputs (flow regime, pressure drop and liquid holdup) were comparable with the existing pipeline data. Moreover, by this comparison one may possibly suggest the more suitable model for usage in a certain pipeline.
