Abstract:
Abstract We study algebraic properties of Poisson brackets on non-associative non-commutative algebras, compatible with their multiplicative structure. Special attention is paid to the Poisson brackets of the Lie-Poisson type, related with the special Lie-structures on the differential-topological torus and brane algebras, generalizing those studied before by Novikov-Balinsky and Gelfand-Dorfman. Illustrative examples of Lie and Balinsky-Novikov algebras are discussed in detail. The non-associative structures (induced by derivation and endomorphism) of commutative algebras related to Lie and Balinsky-Novikov algebras are described in depth.

Abstract:
The Lie algebraic scheme for constructing Hamiltonian operators is differential-algebraically recast and an effective approach is devised for classifying the underlying algebraic structures of integrable Hamiltonian systems. Lie–Poisson analysis on the adjoint space to toroidal loop Lie algebras is employed to construct new reduced pre-Lie algebraic structures in which the corresponding Hamiltonian operators exist and generate integrable dynamical systems. It is also shown that the Balinsky–Novikov type algebraic structures, obtained as a Hamiltonicity condition, are derivations on the Lie algebras naturally associated with differential toroidal loop algebras. We study nonassociative and noncommutive algebras and the related Lie-algebraic symmetry structures on the multidimensional torus, generating via the Adler–Kostant–Symes scheme multi-component and multi-dimensional Hamiltonian operators. In the case of multidimensional torus, we have constructed a new weak Balinsky–Novikov type algebra, which is instrumental for describing integrable multidimensional and multicomponent heavenly type equations. We have also studied the current algebra symmetry structures, related with a new weakly deformed Balinsky–Novikov type algebra on the axis, which is instrumental for describing integrable multicomponent dynamical systems on functional manifolds. Moreover, using the non-associative and associative left-symmetric pre-Lie algebra theory of Zelmanov, we also explicate Balinsky–Novikov algebras, including their fermionic version and related multiplicative and Lie structures.

Abstract:
In the field experiments carried out in 2000 and 2001 at the Nagyhörcsök Experimental Station on calcareous chernozem soil contaminated with heavy metals the results show that the application of 40 t/ha Balinka brown coal did not decrease the uptake of essential elements by the maize, barley and rape test plants, and did not decrease the fertility of soil. There was no change or sometimes a slight increase in the investigated tissues of the plants due to the effect of coal application. This is advantageous in Zn deficient soils, but on similar soils strongly polluted with Zn the Balinka brown coal cannot be used as an effective remediator. The coal treatment drastically decreased the Se toxicity of the soil, the maxi-mum yield could even be obtained on the strongly Se-polluted plots. The development of plant stands in the coal treated plots improved considerably, perhaps due to the better moisture regime conditions of the soil. The Sr and Cd content in plant tissues decreased in several cases due to brown coal application. The most dangerous contaminant, the Cd concentration in the plants dropped to half or even 1/3, as a result of coal treatment. The results of the two-year experiments showed that the 40 t/ha rate of Balinka brown coal can be used successfully and economically in the in situ remediation of Cd, Se and Sr contaminated soils. This rate does not influence the original fertility parameters of the soil, but can be applied with advantages both in extremely light- or heavy textured soils in case of moderate contamination. However, further investigations are needed to find out the effects of Balinka-type brown coal application on other soil types, plants and other polluting elements.

Abstract:
Capripoxviruses (CaPVs), consisting of Sheeppox virus (SPV), Goatpox virus (GPV), and Lumpy skin disease virus (LSDV) species, cause economically significant diseases in sheep, goats, and cattle, respectively. Quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) assays are routinely used for rapid detection of CaPVs in surveillance and outbreak management programs. We further modified and optimized 2 previously published CaPV qPCR assays, referred to as the Balinsky and Bowden assays, by changing commercial PCR reagents used in the tests. The modified assays displayed 100% analytical specificity and showed no apparent changes in analytical sensitivities for detection of CaPVs compared with the original assays. Diagnostic sensitivities, assessed using 50 clinical reference samples from experimentally infected sheep, goats, and cattle, improved from 82% to 92% for the modified Balinsky assay and from 58% to 82% for the modified Bowden assay. The modified qPCR assays were multiplexed for detection of beta-actin as an indicator for potential false-negative results. The multiplex modified qPCR assays exhibited the same diagnostic sensitivities as the singleplex assays suggesting their utility in the detection of CaPVs.

Abstract:
In this paper, we recall the Balinsky–Novikov (BN) superalgebras and revisit the approach of constructing an infinite-dimensional Lie superalgebra by a kind of affinization of a BN superalgebra. As an example, we give an explicit construction of Beltrami and Green–Schwarz–Witten (GSW) algebras from two isomorphic BN superalgebras, respectively, which proves that they are isomorphic as a direct consequence. Moreover, we consider the central extensions of the infinite-dimensional Lie superalgebras induced from BN superalgebras through certain bilinear forms on their corresponding BN superalgebras.

Abstract:
Known Plecoptera data published from Azerbaijan are critically reviewed. New records of 28 species are enumerated on the basis of specimens collected between 2017 and 2019, among them 16 are new for the fauna of Azerbaijan. Nemoura irani Aubert, 1964 is new for the whole Caucasian region, Leuctra sanainica Zhiltzova, 1960 and Plesioperla sakartvella (Zhiltzova, 1956) are new for the Greater Caucasus. The female and larva of an unknown Protonemura Kempny, 1898 species, collected in the Talysh Mts, are illustrated and described under temporary name Protonemura sp. AZE-1. A new species of Protonemura, collected both in the Azerbaijan and Georgian areas of the Greater Caucasus, will be formally described in a further paper. A male Protonemura specimen was found to be infected by mermithid worms, morphological lesions are illustrated and commented; this is the second documented case of mermithid infection in stoneflies. Subspecies level identity of Azerbaijani populations of Leuctra fusca (Linnaeus, 1758) proved to be problematic, morphological characters of the specimens are illustrated. Synonymy of Isoperla caucasica Balinsky, 1950 and I. pulchra Balinsky, 1950 under I. bithynica (Kempny, 1908) is disputed, the two names are combined under I. grammatica (Poda, 1761) sensu lato.

This paper presents modified Vogel’s method that solves the fixed charge transportation problems, the relaxed transportation problem proposed by Balinski in 1961 to find an approximate solution for the fixed charge transportation problem (FCTP). This approximate solution is considered as a lower limit for the optimal solution of FCTP. This paper developed the modified Vogel’s method to find an approximate solution used as a lower limit for the FCTP. This is better than Balinski’s method in 1961. My approach relies on applying Vogel’s approximation method to the relaxed transportation problem. In addition, an illustrative numerical example is used to prove my hypothesis.

Abstract:

Abstract:
In general, amphibian larvae dispose of nitrogenous wastes as ammonia and change to urea excretion during metamorphosis (Balinsky 1970). Ammonia excretion, however, poses a problem for tadpoles and embryos that live in a limited volume of fluid because it is toxic in higher concentrations. One solution is urea excretion or ureotelism. In amphibians it occurs in species with terrestrial modes of reproduction when larvae develop within the uterus as in the ovoviviparous Salamandra salamandra (Schindelmeiser & Greven 1981), when embryos develop in foam nests as in Leptodactylus bufonius (Shoemaker & McClanahan 1973), or when offspring develop in brood pouches as in Gastrotheca riobambae (Alcocer et al. 1992).

Abstract:
Previous historiography has already paid particular attention to well-known ‘metropolitan’ biographies of I. Balinsky, V. Bekhterev and others, as well as their role in the establishment of a scientific approach in the treatment of mental illnesses in the Russian Empire. Little attention has been paid to ‘provincial’ physicians and the importance of their scientific activity in bridging the gap between the Russian and European institutions of psychiatry. The primary aim of this article is to show how Alexander Frese’s ‘mobile’ and ‘imperial’ career influenced the emergence of the transnational origins of Russian psychiatry. It describes his travels to foreign psychiatric hospitals, and his subsequent critical assessment of them. I argue that his ideas, which had been formulated during these trips, determined the design of emerging psychiatric institutions (district hospitals) in the Russian Empire.

Abstract:
ABSTRACTThis study aims to reveal three problems regarding the implementation of the scientific approach in Indonesian subjects Curriculum 2013. First, the application of the scientific approach. Secondly, there are obstacles in the implementation of learning. Third, the follow-up done by the teacher in overcoming the constraints of learning. This research was conducted with qualitative research using descriptive methods. Data collected in this study using the method of observation, documentation, and interviews. The data in this study were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The subjects in this study were Indonesian language teachers at SMPN 1 Koto Balingka, West Pasaman Regency. The results showed that in learning activities using a scientific approach the teacher was doing well. In the learning process the teacher has explained the five stages of learning by using a scientific approach, starting from observing, holding, reasoning, trying, to communicating. The results of this study also show the results that there are still obstacles faced by teachers in the process of implementing learning, for example, constrained by supporting facilities and infrastructures in learning. In the learning process the teacher has done step 5 M and has a role as a facilitator so that students are actively involved in learning. In general, learning activities with a scientific approach have been going well, but there are still obstacles faced by teachers in their implementation.
