ABSTRACT: The conglomerate reservoir is strongly heterogeneous, causing the hydraulic fracture to be tortuous and complex; there are many factors controlling the closure behavior of propped fractures caused by in-situ stress. However, the API conductivity cell can merely measure the average fracture aperture, the closure behavior of actual propped fractures is incompatible and non-uniform.
