Full textThe main purpose of this work is to describe liquidity risk of the bank, its parameters, the necessity of the management, obligation assets operation tendencies and opportunities. Object of the research – liquidity risk management in banking. The essence of liquidity management lies in the ability to decide on what level of liquidity is sufficient for the bank to meet its commitments and receive income simultaneously. The issue of liquidity is raised due to the specific nature of credit companies. They operate as mediates between the owners of material resources and debtors; the majority of bank assets do not belong directly to the bank. Therefore the processes of technological development and market globalization challenge the nature of bank liquidity management. The 1st part contains the main characteristics of liquidity and liquidity risk theory. The main liquidity management evaluation reach and managing of the bank are described in this chapter. The 2nd part research of the liquidity risk parameters and criterions. Liquidity indicators are described. The chapter enlarges on obligation assets functions and internals. The 3nd part is properly done liquidity risk analysis and the estimation of UAB Medicinos bankas, according to the system of indices of liquidity.

Full textThe business risk assessment and management is becoming important problem in a difficult economic situation. Instability requires constant attention to liquidity measurement and management. Due to Complexity of economic conditions, liquidity risk management process can not be isolated. Liquidity risk management topics of Lithuanian and foreign authors are analyzed and structured in Master’s work. The essential liquidity risk measurement and management methods and principles are summarized. An analysis of scientific literature and quantitative evaluation of the results is performed. The theoretical and practical parts define liquidity risk ant risk management strategies in a commercial bank, the liquidity risk management model for a particular bank is assessed. AS UniCredit Bank's liquidity risk analysis, assessment according to established standards and testing in adverse conditions, according to three scenarios was performed. The scientific literature analysis and quantitative evaluation of the results is illustrated by tables and pictures. Trends of The liquidity measurement and management of development are suggested. The work consists of 8 parts. Work size - 54 p. without appendixes, 3 pictures., 15 tables., 38 references. Appendixes included separately.

Full textUnder the conditions of complex global economic situation and the uncertainty of reliability of financial institutions liquidity risk assessment and management is becoming an urgent problem. Commercial bank liquidity risk management methodology owns to combine risk management into a single process and comprise the principles of security, liquidity and profitability. Master's work summarizes the liquidity risk assessment and management principles and techniques, structures Lithuanian and foreign authors' theoretical risk assessment and management aspects in commercial banks. A detailed DnB NORD bank liquidity risk assessment and analysis, based on the liquidity indices system, normative values, established by the Bank of Lithuania, and stress testing method, has been accomplished and the improvement opportunities of bank's liquidity risk measurement and management techniques have been established. Research methods: comparative analysis, the analytical group data, descriptive statistical methods, induction, deduction, analogy and association methods. Carrying the theoretical and practical analysis the relevant scientific and statistical literature has been evaluated, quantitative assessment of the obtained results has been performed and illustrated by tables and images.

In these days, an unstable economic situation in Lithuania, increasing of competition, foreign banks' penetration in the Lithuanian banking market, forcing banks to pay attention not only to the activities developed in its quality, but also the challenges: how to raise money so the banks can provide liquidity and lending to customers. The crisis of 2007 in the financial market is also requiring for greater attention of banks for effective emphasis on banks' liquidity risk assessment and management. EU, financial professionals and researchers are focused in to new ways of raising banks assets to ensure liquidity and to develop further activities. Work object – Method of securitization in Lithuania. Work aim – Identify the opportunities to adapt the method of securitization in Lithuanian commercial banks. Work tasks to achieve this aim: 1. Define the securitization, its development process, determine the benefits and advantages of the method compared with the classical bank financing satin. 2. Make securitization environmental analysis of the EU's commercial banking and financial system based on indicators. 3. To make a research of RL legislation and securities market research, to analyze Lithuanian commercial banks 'financial position, based on banks' liquidity and justify the adaptation of the securitization method in Lithuania.
