The article is devoted to a charitable organisation — the Union of Russian Military Invalids (temporarily abroad) in the period 1920—1922. In December 1920, the first organisational meeting of disabled refugees took place, at which it was decided to establish the Union of Russian Military Invalids (temporarily abroad). A board headed by General of Cavalry V. S. Baranovsky was elected. In May 1921, by order of Lieutenant General Baron P. N. Wrangel, General of Cavalry N. N. Baratov became the chairman of the new board. The board began active work. The article deals with the procedure of the Union's activity: the purpose of establishment, organisational structure; the procedure of joining, holding meetings; the rights and obligations of full members, candidates for full members, the Board, etc.; financial support of the Board and the Union's activity.

Background: Transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) is an effective and safe procedure for severe aortic stenosis. Increased aortic root angulation is an important anatomical feature that may cause technical difficulties and negatively affect immediate and long-term outcomes.Objective: To evaluate immediate outcomes of TAVI in patients with increased aortic root angulation.Methods: Our retrospective single-center study included 412 patients with severe aortic stenosis who underwent TAVI using self-expanding bioprostheses from 2015 to 2022. Patients with aortic root angulation ≥ 49° were included in group 1 (n = 200), and those with aortic root angulation < 49° comprised group 2 (n = 212).Results: The mean age of the patients was 75.2 ± 7.2 years. In a subgroup with the first-generation CoreValve prosthesis and a ≥ 49° angle, we observed moderate aortic regurgitation significantly more often (7.4% vs 0.0%, P = .010) and technical success significantly less often (90.1% vs 98.9%, P = .010) compared with a similar subgroup with a < 49° angle. In subgroups with CoreValve Evolute R and ACURATE neo prostheses, there were no significant differences in terms of the mentioned parameters. Independent predictors of technical failure were the aortic root angle [OR for each degree increase: 0.44, 95% CI: 0.30-0.63, P < .001], no postdilation [OR: 5.0, 95% CI: 1.33-20.00, P = .074], indexed mass of the left ventricular myocardium [OR: 1.02, 95% CI: 1.01-1.03, P = .003], and higher implantation relative to the aortic annulus [OR for every 1 mm decrease in implantation depth: 0.44, 95% CI: 0.30-0.63, P < .001].Conclusion: Increased aortic angulation ≥ 49° negatively affected the technical success of TAVI only in patients with the first-generation CoreValve prostheses. Independent predictors of technical failure in TAVI were the aortic root angle, no postdilation, indexed mass of the left ventricular myocardium, and higher implantation relative to the aortic annulus. Background. Transcatheter aortic valve replacement is a safe and effective procedure in patients with severe aortic stenosis who are at high surgical risk. One of the most commonly diagnosed complications after transcatheter aortic valve replacement is postoperative complete heart block, requiring in most cases the permanent pacemaker implantation.Aim. The study aims to identify independent prognostic factors of permanent pacemaker implantation after transcatheter aortic valve replacement.Methods. This retrospective study included 336 patients who underwent transcatheter self-expanding aortic valve replacement between 2015 and 2021. 28 patients (8.3%) after procedure required the permanent pacemaker implantation. Patients with a previously implanted permanent pacemaker, surgical aortic valve replacement, transcatheter aortic valve replacement in history and patients after conversion of endovascular intervention to surgical replacement were excluded from the study.Results. The mean age of patients was 75.4 ± 7.4 years. Diabetes mellitus (50.0 versus 28.6%, p = 0.03), baseline right bundle-branch block (32.1 versus 3.9%, p < 0.05), and smaller length of the interventricular membranous septum (5.5 ± 2.2 and 6.9 ± 1.8 mm, p < 0.05) were more common in the permanent pacemaker implantation patient group. The groups were comparable in terms of other clinical, demographic and instrumental characteristics. There were no statistically significant differences between the groups in major procedural complications. Independent prognostic factors of permanent pacemaker implantation were baseline complete right bundle-branch block (OR 21.01, 95% CI 5.86–75.42, p < 0,001), mean transcatheter aortic valve implantation depth below the aortic annulus (OR 1.42, 95% CI 1.16–1.74, p = 0.001) and the length of the interventricular membranous septum (OR 0.7, 95% CI 0.50–0.95, p = 0.02).Conclusion. The frequency permanent pacemaker implantation after transcatheter aortic valve replacement procedure depends on some initial clinical factors, procedural aspects, and postoperative conduction disorders. In this registry, independent prognostic factors of a permanent pacemaker implantation were the baseline complete right bundle-branch block, mean transcatheter aortic valve implantationdepth and the length of the interventricular membranous septum. <p><strong>Background.</strong> Atrial fibrillation is one of the most common types of cardiac arrhythmias. The frequent combination of atrial fibrillation and coronary artery disease in clinical practice can be attributed to common risk factors and relationships among pathogenetic mechanisms.</p><p><strong>Aim. </strong>This study aims to evaluate the impact of atrial fibrillation on immediate and long-term clinical outcomes in patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention for coronary bifurcation lesions.</p><p><strong>Methods.</strong> This study included 709 patients who underwent percutaneous coronary intervention for coronary bifurcation lesions. All patients were divided into two groups: those with and without atrial fibrillation.</p><p><strong>Results.</strong> This multicentre registry showed that the incidence of atrial fibrillation was 11.7%. Compared to patients without a history of atrial fibrillation, those that did were older (66.8 ± 8.5 vs. 62.9 ± 9.0 years, p = 0.0002) and more often had cerebrovascular (22.9% vs. 10.4%, p = 0.003) and peripheral artery disease (18.1% vs. 7.2%, p = 0.002). The overall incidence of major adverse cardiovascular events at the hospital stage was 1.8%. The average follow-up duration was 476 ± 94 days. No difference in long-term major adverse cardiovascular events (15.0% vs. 13.1%, p = 0.6) was observed between patients with and without atrial fibrillation. Patients with atrial fibrillation were more likely to have adverse events, such as bleeding (13.8% vs. 9.3%, p = 0.22), stroke (2.5% vs. 1.0%, p = 0.23) and myocardial infarction (7.6% vs. 5.0%, p = 0.28), although differences between the groups were insignificant.</p><p><strong>Conclusion.</strong> Atrial fibrillation was not associated with mortality and major adverse cardiovascular events in patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention for coronary bifurcation lesions.</p><p><strong>ClinicalTrials.gov Identifier: </strong>NCT03450577</p><p>Received 4 August 2021. Introdução: As baratas (Blattodea) são altamente resistentes e adaptáveis, sendo Periplaneta americana uma das principais pragas urbanas. O uso de inseticidas pode gerar resistência e impactos ambientais, tornando necessário o desenvolvimento de métodos alternativos de controle. Objetivo: Avaliar a eficiência de armadilhas caseiras na captura de P. americana, identificar as espécies e analisar seu comportamento. Método: Durante 50 dias, seis modelos de recipientes plásticos foram testados em uma residência no Paraná. As armadilhas, posicionadas em um parapeito de churrasqueira, foram monitoradas regularmente para registrar as capturas. Resultados: Todos os recipientes atraíram baratas, mas a "barateira 2" foi a mais eficiente. Recipientes altos, lisos e de maior diâmetro apresentaram melhor desempenho. Fatores ambientais influenciaram a agregação dos insetos. Conclusão: Armadilhas caseiras podem ser eficazes no controle de P. americana, reduzindo a dependência de inseticidas. Pesquisas futuras devem aprimorar essas técnicas para maior eficiência.

<div><p class="Autordoartigo">O artigo propõe-se a analisar o pensamento crítico de Alessandro Baratta, criminólogo italiano de influência no campo criminológico crítico brasileiro, rastrear categorias utilizadas e dialogar com tradições que compartilhem dessa base teórica. Investiga-se o impacto dos estudos marxistas na concepção barattiana de crítica. Esse mapeamento resgata disputas filosóficas e sociológicas sobre os sentidos de ser crítico, discute com outras tradições críticas e problematiza supostos consensos. A investigação bibliográfica busca responder quais sentidos da crítica reputamos centrais na construção do pensamento barattiano a partir da perspectiva relacional entre Marx e Baratta. Explicitamos os diálogos que revelam raiz marxista, articulação do vocabulário de Marx na teoria barattiana e vinculação dos percursos de Baratta com os novos horizontes da crítica. Não há detalhamento dos autores selecionados, cuja obra excede bastante o que apresentamos. Interpretamos os autores que trazemos para o diálogo a partir de nossa inserção no campo. Acreditamos que selecionamos aspectos suficientes e necessários para o objetivo traçado. Identificamos que os sentidos da crítica barattiana inscrevem-se com forte influência do alfabeto marxista. Desde sua produção filosófica, passando pelas vertentes idealista e empírica dessa teoria criminológica até suas publicações finais, o “espectro de Marx” faz-se presente. Apesar do esforço em retomar diferentes rumos do debate, a crítica barattiana parece continuamente reelaborada sob lentes marxistas. A principal contribuição está na descrição e discussão das funcionalidades e transformações da crítica na obra de Baratta. Com isso, também avaliamos desdobramentos do debate no pensamento criminológico e na conformação das semânticas críticas na criminologia, especialmente no Brasil.<span> <br /></span></p></div>

<p>Access to the left atrium during transseptal puncture for radiofrequency ablation in patients with atrial fibrillation (AF) and implanted atrial septal occluder can be challenging. This is particularly true when the occluder covers the entire septum and there is no ideal puncture site. This might lead to potential difficulties in arrhythmia treatment.<br />A 59-year-old patient with drug refractory AF, a dilated left atrium, and an implanted atrial septal occluder underwent double transseptal puncture through atrial septal occluder with subsequent pulmonary vein isolation using remote magnetic navigation. The effectiveness of the manipulation was confirmed by intraoperative stimulation from the Lasso catheter and by Holter monitoring data post-operation. It was revealed that the patient had sinus rhythm and no complications occurred. There were no shunts at the occluder level on transthoracic echocardiography, and there were no atrial tachyarrhythmias during the nine-month follow up period without antiarrhythmic drugs. The presented clinical case demonstrates the safety and efficacy of transseptal puncture through an implanted occluder in the interatrial septum to perform re-ablation using robotic magnetic navigation in a patient with AF.</p><p>Received 21 October 2020. A study was done to determine the level of iron in selected indigenous vegetables using UV-vis spectrophotometric method. The four indigenous vegetables that was frequently consumed by Baraton families were; amaranths, pumpkin leaves, spider plant, and bacella alba, were selected for the study. Absorbance measurement was done on the ash samples of cooked and uncooked vegetables using UV-Vis spectrophotometer at 458 nm. The results showed among the uncooked vegetables, the iron concentration ranged from 0.081 to 0.23 ppm with pumpkin leaves and baccela alba recording the lowest and highest level respectively. The cooked vegetables had Fe levels ranging for 0.041 ppm to 0.43 ppm with pumpkin leaves and amaranths having lowest and highest Fe levels respectively. One sample t-test analysis showed that there was no significant difference between the Fe levels in the cooked and uncooked vegetables P>0.05. The findings showed that the sampled vegetables are a source of iron in diet.

<strong>Objective </strong> – to investigate the epidermis of leaf blade in plants of 3 mountain species of the genus <em>Phaedranassa </em>Ravenna, differing by a high-altitude gradient location in the Andes. <strong>Material and methods.</strong> The objects of research are plants <em>P. cinerea </em>Ravenna, <em>P. dubia </em>(Kunth) J.F. Macbr., <em>P. tunguraguae</em> Ravenna. The transverse sections of leaves were made by a safety razor manually according to generally accepted methods. Morphometric reserches of the stomatal apparatus and subsidiary cells were conducted on epidermal imprints taken from living plants using the replica method with colorless nail polish. The study used light and scanning microscopes. For description of epidermal cells shape the classification of S.F. Zakharevich (1954) was used, for description of the respiratory apparatus the morphological classification of M.A. Baranova (1985) was used. <strong>Results.</strong> The leaf index of investigated species plants was determined. The relief of the leaf cuticular surface of each species on the abaxial and adaxial side was described. Data of shape, density and size of epidermal cells were submitted and analyzed. The stomatotype, the type of stomata on and in relation to the leaf surface, the density and size of stomata were determined. The formation of different stomatal clusters types in some <em>Phaedranassa </em>species was described. <strong>Conclusions. </strong>The <em>Phaedranassa</em>’s adaptation to the removable environment of highland is minimization of water loss by the deposition of wax on subsidiary cells during cuticular transpiration and by the formation of stomatal clusters affecting stomatal transpiration. In leaves of investigated plants the following changes were observed in accordance to the increase of each growth height: the leaf index decreases, the stomatal index increased. Also transition from the concave periclinal surface of epidermal cells on the abaxial side to the convex, transition from a nontypical for the <em>Amaryllidaceae </em>tetracite stomatotype to a typical anomocyte, transition from hypostomatic leaves to amphistomatic, the increase of stomata density on both leaf surfaces, the transition from protruding stomata to the stomata located in one level with an epidermis, transition of stomatal clusters from a “non-contiguous cluster” to a “contiguous cluster” type with polar contact of stomata were observed. The investigated <em>Phaedranassa </em>species have no dependence in the structure of the epidermis on the distribution of plants along the altitudinal gradient.

<p><strong>Abstract.</strong> The paper describes the final step of the Baratti in 3D project, aimed at the dissemination of the important archaeological heritage of the Etruscan city of Populonia (Tuscany, Italy). The chain of “data metrical surveying &amp;ndash; 2D and 3D representation &amp;ndash; communication” has been applied on the “Princes's tombs” of the monumental necropolis of San Cerbone and its finds to provide a detailed description of their context, workmanship, morphological characteristics and materials to realize the virtual recreation. The preservation of the finds from the excavations in two different museums far from the archaeological area (the Museo Archeologico Nazionale di Firenze and the Museo Archeologico del Territorio di Populonia, in Piombino) makes the understanding of the original context very difficult for visitors. Thus the “Baratti in 3D Project” has been conceived in order to document the tombs, their finds and produce the “virtual match” showing in its entirety the environmental and architectural provenance and material ritual context and in order to display in innovative visual approach this archaeological heritage. To complement the interactive platform, as a physical fallout of this project has been realized “A museum in every sense”, a permanent exhibition in the Museo Archeologico del Territorio di Populonia.</p>

Child abuse adalah tindakan yang sengaja dilakukan orang tua atau pengasuhnya. Anak balita rawan untuk mendapat kekerasan, karena saat itu anak ingin mencoba kemampuannya namun tidak semua tahu fase perkembangan anaknya. Tujuan penelitian mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan child abuse pada balita. Jenis penelitian observasional, rancangan cross sectional, populasinya ibu yang mempunyai balita, sampel 115 orang. Pengambilan data kuesioner. Analisa data: analisa univariat (deskriptif); analisa bivariat (chi square); analisa multivariate (regresi logistic). Hasil penelitiannya: Ada hubungan yang bermakna antara variabel usia ibu dengan kekerasan pada balita nilai (p=0,001), ada hubungan yang bermakna antara variabel pendidikan ibu dengan kekerasan pada balita (p=0,000), ada hubungan yang bermakna antara variabel pekerjaan ibu dengan kekerasan pada balita dengan (p=0,000), ada hubungan yang bermakna antara variabel penghasilan dengan kekerasan pada balita (p=0,000), ada hubungan yang bermakna antara variabel status perkawinan dengan kekerasan pada balita (p= 0,02), ada hubungan yang bermakna antara variabel riwayat mendapat kekerasan pada orang tua dengan kekerasan pada balita (p=0,000), tidak ada hubungan yang bermakna anatara variabel status anak dengan kekerasan pada balita (p=1,000). Background: Bifurcation treatments make up ca. 15–20% of coronary interventions. Despite the use of drug-eluting stents, the management of bifurcation lesions, especially with side branches involved, remains a challenge.Objective: To evaluate long-term clinical and angiographic outcomes after using a paclitaxel-coated balloon for the treatment of side branches in patients with true bifurcation lesions.Methods: Eighty patients with coronary artery disease were enrolled after true bifurcation lesion stenting. All patients were randomized at the 1:1 ratio to the group of main branches stenting followed by the dilatation of side branches with drug-eluting balloons and provisional stenting group.Results: Long-term results were analyzed after 12 months. The most common bifurcation lesion involved the left anterior descending artery and diagonal branch (57.5%). Late lumen loss in the side branch (0.51 ± 0.22 vs 0.33 ± 0.24 mm) and in both the bifurcation branches (main branch + side branch) (1.06 ± 0.29 vs 0.79 ± 0.27 mm) was significantly higher in the patients after provisional stenting.Overall postoperative incidence of major adverse cardiovascular events was 17.5% and 7.5% (p = 0.31) in the provisional stenting and drug coated balloon groups, respectively. Patients with drug-eluting balloons for the treatment of side branches had a more pronounced decrease in angina symptoms after 12 months. Multivariate analysis showed that diabetes mellitus (OR: 10.9) and glomerular filtration rate (OR: 0.95) were independent predictors of major adverse cardiovascular events in bifurcation interventions.Conclusion: Drug-eluting balloons for the dilatation of side branches after the stenting of main branches are superior to provisional stenting in terms of the late lumen loss. <p>A corrosão é um grave problema para a indústria e a construção civil, caracterizada ampla incidência geográfica, particularmente em regiões litorâneas. A busca por inibidores de corrosão mais baratos, ambientalmente amigáveis e com seletividade é uma constante. De outro lado, produtos naturais com reconhecidas atividades antioxidantes são postos como possíveis inibidores de corrosão. Este estudo prospectivo visa avaliar a potencialidade de uso da própolis - um material resinoso oriundo da biodiversidade - como inibidor de corrosão. Foi realizado um levantamento científico e patentário para esse tipo de aplicação da própolis. O Brasil foi identificado com o maior produtor de artigos científicos sobre a própolis, apresentando ainda a 5ª. posição como depositante. Apesar de não listar entre os maiores produtores de artigos sobre corrosão, figura na 19ª. posição como depositante de patentes. Apenas três patentes foram recuperadas abrangendo os dois temas de busca.</p>

O ovo é um alimento proteico barato e acessível, mas que está sujeito a contaminação microbiológica, acarretando perigo potencial aos consumidores, principalmente se Salmonella estiver presente. Fungos também representam sério problema para a qualidade de ovos, podendo levar à rejeição pelo consumidor. Visando solucionar este problema, desenvolveu-se um revestimento a base de isolado proteico de soro de leite (IPS) com nanopartículas de montmorilonita adicionado do agente antimicrobiano metabissulfito de sódio. A pesquisa objetivou avaliar a atividade antimicrobiana do revestimento contra Salmonella Enteritidis, Aspergillus sydowii e Penicillium paxilli quando aplicado em ovos brancos. Não houve diferença significativa (p > 0,05) entre as populações de S. Enteritidis das cascas revestidas e sem revestimento. A. sydowii e P. paxilli apresentaram crescimento tanto nas cascas de ovos sem revestimento quanto nas cascas de ovos revestidos, evidenciando que o revestimento não foi capaz de inibi-los nas condições testadas. Los atributos sensoriales (color, olor, sabor, gusto y retrogusto) en conjunto con percepción de precio, son variables poco estudiadas en Latinoamérica, por lo que se propuso analizar la relación entre ellas y la identificación del comportamiento del consumidor con las marcas de tequila Azul, Cabrito, Cien Años Jimador y José Cuervo en una muestra a conveniencia de 145 personas de 18 a 60 años en Veracruz, México. Se aplicó la regresión logística multinomial, determinándose que el Olor (p =0.021), Gusto (p =0.000) y Retrogusto (p =0.000), afectaron positivamente la percepción de precio. Mientras que la interacción que se encontró significativa con las marcas de tequila, fue el Gusto (p =0.000). En los análisis descriptivos, los consumidores detectaron al tequila Cabrito como el más caro, en contraste con José Cuervo, como el más barato. Lo anterior apunta a que parcialmente la percepción de precio no coincide con el precio en el mercado, lo cual es indicador que el precio no solo se debe de analizar desde la economía, sino también con el enfoque mercadológico y psicológico.

<p><strong>Aim.</strong> To assess the parameters affecting circumferential strain and local arterial stiffness in carotid arteries in healthy individuals and in patients with cardiovascular risk factors.<br /><strong>Methods.</strong> We analysed data from 111 adults, aged 20–45 years (38.3 ± 7 years). Of these, 63.06% of men had no known medical history of clinically manifest atherosclerosis. Study participants were categorised into two groups—group I (n = 50) comprising of healthy volunteers without known cardiovascular risk factors and group II (n = 61) consisting of individuals with one of the modifiable risk factors (e.g., smoking, obesity, hypertension or hypercholesterolemia). Patients with diabetes mellitus, cardiac arrhythmias or asymptomatic atherosclerotic plaques in the carotid arteries, even if hemodynamically insignificant, were excluded. The following were measured for the common carotid artery (CCA): circumferential strain (CS, %), strain rate (CSR, <!-- x-tinymce/html -->s<sup>−1</sup>), time to peak (TTP) strain (ms), and fraction area change CCA (FAC, %) and local arterial stiffness (β2).<br /><strong>Results.</strong> CCA mechanics correlated with age, blood pressure, body mass index and left-ventricular myocardial mass index. The lowest CS values were seen in group II patients with hypertension (HTN) (with HTN, 2.4% ± 0.9%, 95% CI = 2.07–2.86; without HTN, 3.6% ± 1.1%, 95% CI = 3.2–4). β2 increased to the greatest extent in patients with HTN (19.3% ± 6.1%, 95% CI = 16–21) as compared to those without HTN (13.5% ± 4.5%, 95% CI =13–16). FAC was inversely correlated with age, both in healthy subjects (Rs = −0.63, p = 0.0001) and in patients with cardiovascular risk factors (Rs = −0.61, p = 0.0001).<br /><strong>Conclusion.</strong> While CS, strain rate and FAC decreased with age, TTP strain and local arterial stiffness increased. Both mechanics and function of the CCA in patients at risk of developing cardiovascular complications demonstrate a close association with hypertension, obesity, smoking and hypercholesterolemia.</p><p>Received 19 November 2020. ABSTRACT Data from the Population and Family Planning Agency (BKKBN) shows the number of PUS in 2022 in Binakals as many as 2740 people, MOP participants (1%) and condoms (0.14%). The Community Empowerment and Family Planning Agency (2013) states that the low participation of men in contraception is caused by information about male contraception that is not yet understood by the community, and the view that contraception is specifically for women only. Various attempts have been made to increase the participation of men in contraception, such as counseling on contraception for men, advocating for relevant parties, and approaching religious and community leaders. This study aims to analyze the correlation between knowledge and attitudes with male contraception participation in Baratan village, Binakal Bondowoso. The type of research used is analytic observational with a cross-sectional approach. The population used is all married men in Baratan village, Binakal Bondowoso as many as 200 people, sampling using simple random sampling as many as 67 people. Using a questionnaire instrument, bivariate analysis using chi-square. The results of the study showed that there was a correlation between knowledge and participation in male contraception (p-value 0.000) and attitude with participation in male contraception (p-value 0.000). The results of this study can provide motivation to health workers in the work area of the Binakal health center UPTD in promoting male participation and participation in using contraception. And the results of this study, can be used as a medium of information about male contraception methods and give consideration to the public in choosing contraception to be used. Keywords: Knowledge, Attitude, Participation of Male Contraception. ABSTRAK Data Badan Kependudukan dan Keluarga Berencana ( BKKBN ) menunjukkan jumlah PUS tahun 2022 di Kec. Binakal sebanyak 2740 jiwa, peserta MOP ( 1% ) dan kondom ( 0,14 % ). Badan Pemberdayaan Masyarakat dan Keluarga Berencana (2013) menyatakan bahwa rendahnya partisipasi pria dalam berkontrasepsi disebabkan oleh informasi tentang kontrasepsi pria yang belum dipahami oleh masyarakat, dan adanya pandangan bahwa kontrasepsi dikhususkan untuk wanita saja. Berbagai upaya telah dilakukan untuk meningkatkan peran serta laki-laki dalam berkontrasepsi, seperti penyuluhan tentang kontrasepsi kepada pria, melakukan advokasi kepada pihak-pihak terkait, dan melakukan pendekatan kepada tokoh agama dan tokoh masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisi hubungan pengetahuan, sikap dengan keikutsertaan kontrasepsi pria di Desa Baratan Kec. Binakal Kabupaten Bondowoso. Jenis penelitian yang digunakal observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi yang digunakan yaitu seluruh pria yang sudah menikah yang ada di Desa Baratan Kec. Binakal Kabupaten Bondowoso sebanyak 200 orang, pengambilan sampling menggunakan simpel random sampling sebanyak 67 orang. Menggunakan instrumen kuesioner, analisis bivariat menggunakan chi-square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan pengetahuan dengan keikutsertaan kontrasepsi pria ( p-value 0,000) dan sikap dengan keikutsertaan kontrasepsi pria (p-value 0,000). Hasil penelitian ini dapat memberikan motivasi kepada tenaga kesehatan di wilayah kerja UPTD Puskesmas Binakal dalam menggalakkan peran serta dan partisipasi pria untuk memakai kontasepsi. Dan hasil penelitian ini, dapat digunakan sebagai media informasi mengenai metode kontrasepsi pria dan memberikan pertimbangan kepada masyarakat untuk memilih kontrasepsi yang akan digunakan. Проведено исследование фазовых равновесий в тройной системе Sn–As–P в области высокой концентрации летучих компонентов. Методами рентгенофазового и дифференциального термического анализа изучены сплавы политермического разреза SnAs–P. Показано, что растворимость фосфора в моноарсениде олова в направлении этого разреза менее 0.05 мол.д. фосфора. Построена Т-х диаграмма политермического сечения SnAs–Р. Наличие на Т-х диаграмме горизонтали при температуре 827±2 К соответствует реализации в системе Sn–As–P нонвариантного перитектического равновесия L + (d) ↔ b + g , где (d), b и g – трехкомпонентные твердые растворы на основе As1-xPx, SnAs и SnP3 соответственно

V. Mazurin, N. G. Zernov, B. G. Apostolov, A. A. Baranov, V. F. Uchaykin, G. V. Rimarchuk, Yu. G. Mukhina, P. L. Shcherbakov, S. V. Belmer, I. Yu. Melnikova and others. The article discusses the origins, development and successes of modern Russian pediatric gastroenterology. Important in the diagnosis of diseases of the digestive system in children, beginning at an early age (up to 3 years), along with laboratory methods, have played methods of medical intrascopy. The main achievements in the study of diseases of the esophagus, stomach, intestines, hepatobiliary system, pancreas are analyzed. Prospects for the development of pediatric gastroenterology as an independent area of pediatrics are being advanced.

La bacteria Pseudomonas putida, gramnegativa y con forma de bastoncillo, puede encontrarse en una gran variedad de entornos biológicos. Esta ubicuidad puede atribuirse a su metabolismo extraordinariamente adaptable, su capacidad para soportar estrés fisicoquímico y su propensión a sobrevivir en condiciones desfavorables. Estos rasgos han provocado un aumento del interés por los microorganismos de uso industrial, cuyo estudio también ha avanzado rápidamente en los últimos años. Entre las principales motivaciones a este respecto se encuentran el uso de flujos de residuos baratos y materias primas sostenibles para la fabricación de compuestos con valor añadido, junto con el avance continuo de la biología sistemática de esta bacteria y la ingeniería genética de cepas. Aquí se ofrece un resumen de los avances actuales y las direcciones futuras P. putida se utiliza como fábrica celular en ingeniería genética, sistemas informáticos y biología sintética.

Introduction. The article deals with the development of daological research in Russia in the first half of the XX century. The purpose of the article is to consider what tasks faced the nascent Russian daology at the beginning of the XX century and which of them were / were not solved in the first half of the XX century. Content. By the beginning of the 20th century, Russian daology faced a number of unresolved problems, many of which scientists approached only at the very end of the XX beginning of the XXI century. However, the first half of the 20th century was not barren. With regard to daology, this period is characterized primarily by the accumulation of materials and the emergence of new areas of research. We are talking about the works of such sinologists as academician V. M. Alekseev (1881-1951) and his students J. K. Shchutsky (1897-1938) and K. K. Flug (1893-1942). Alekseev wrote a number of articles related to Taoism in one way or another, some of which were published (posthumously) as part of the famous book "Chinese folk painting" (1966). Shchutsky, in addition to his main work - the translation and source and philological research of the "I Ching", also wrote a number of articles on Taoism. K. K. Flug turned to the study of the Taoist collection of canonical texts ("Tao Tsang"). The works of representatives of Harbin Chinese studies of the first half of the XX century made a certain contribution to daology. The article briefly examines the relevant works of P. V. Shkurkin (1868-1943) and I. G. Baranov (1886-1972). Conclusions. In the first half of the 20th century, daology in Russia took the following steps: 1) a systematic study of the collection of canonical texts ("Tao Tsang") (K. K. Flug) was initiated; 2) studies clarifying the relationship between Taoism and Buddhism, Taoism and folk religion (V. M. Alekseev, Yu. K. Shchutsky) appeared; 3) new types of sources were introduced into scientific circulation (Chinese folk painting of nianhua, Taoist Talismans-fu (V. M. Alekseev); 4) translations of folklore texts with a Taoist component appeared (P. V. Shkurkin); 5) the first descriptive works on local forms of Taoism appeared (I. G. Baranov).

MÉTODOS: após aplicação e análise das respostas do questionário, dois grupos foram formados: GO, com histórico de OM, e GC, sem este histórico. Cada grupo com 20 pré-escolares de ambos os gêneros foi submetido ao teste de localização da fonte sonora em cinco direções (Pereira, 1993). RESULTADOS: a comparação entre GO e GC não mostrou diferença estatisticamente significante (p=1,0000). CONCLUSÃO: as otites recorrentes na primeira infância não influenciaram no desempenho da habilidade de localização sonora dos pré-escolares deste estudo. Embora sejam dois instrumentos baratos e de fácil aplicação, o questionário e o teste de localização não foram suficientes para diferenciar os dois grupos testados.

The study was aimed to investigate the current status and threats of fisheries resources in the Kura River, Bangladesh. Monthly fish catch surveys were carried out from December 2015 to November 2016 in four catchment areas at Hasinarghat, Kandir-dor, Pulertol, and Barartok. In addition, questionnaire interviews and focus group discussions (FGD) were done to clarify perceptions about the Kura River fishery status. A total of 59 fish species from 22 families were documented and of which 27% were threatened. The values of diversity (H), richness (D), and evenness (J’) were calculated at 3.599, 4.345, and 0.921 respectively. The highest catch volume was recorded 19800±7722.71 kg in November 2016 at the Kandirdor and the lowest 225±110.65 kg in March 2016 at the Barartok (p<0.05). The upstream blockage (man-made dam) in the Kura River was identified as the main cause of fish habitat change, decrease fish biodiversity, and production of this River. Therefore, the findings of this study exposed that the conservation of fish has become urgent. In this regard, the baseline scenario of the Kura River biodiversity and threats will help to make awareness to take necessary conservation strategy as well as the need for further in-depth study.

A indústria de papel é a principal consumidora de caulim. Sua maior utilização no papel é como enchimento, pelo fato de ser mais barato do que a polpa celulósica. O processo de remoção de cor da celulose conhecido como branqueamento é determinante nas características da polpa final. Muito esforço tem sido feito para que processos de branqueamento menos tóxicos sejam viabilizados. No presente trabalho, objetivou-se avaliar a influência de três sequências de branqueamento de polpa kraft de eucalipto na retenção de caulim e nas propriedades do papel formado. A polpa industrial de eucalipto pré-deslignificada com oxigênio foi branqueada pelas sequências D(E+P)DP (referência), A HT D(E+P)DP (A-ECF) e A HT D(E+P)P (ECF-Light). O caulim foi adicionado às polpas celulósicas após seu refino em moinho PFI para 40°SR, correspondendo a uma quantidade mássica de 20% de caulim para cada folha formada. Os resultados apontaram que a adição de 20% de caulim apresentou retenção significativamente menor para a amostra ECF-Light, permanecendo a sequência referência igual à A-ECF; quanto maior o teor de finos, maior foi a retenção da carga; a sequência ECF-Light apresentou maior custo, menor resistência ao rasgo e menor resistência interna das fibras; a lisura e a compressão não foram influenciadas pela escolha da sequência de branqueamento, tanto quanto pela adição de caulim.

Os objetivos deste estudo foram obter valores para o teste de argolas de seis minutos (TA6) em uma amostra de indivíduos com disfunção neurológica, comparar estes valores com os valores de referência de adultos saudáveis e verificar a associação do TA6 com o controle de tronco. Estudo transversal realizado com 31 indivíduos com disfunção neurológica de ambos os sexos atendidos em clínica de reabilitação neurofuncional vinculada à universidade federal. Os indivíduos realizaram o TA6 e foram avaliados através da Escala de Deficiências de Tronco (EDT). Os valores obtidos no TA6 pelos indivíduos com disfunção neurológica foram inferiores aos de adultos saudáveis em todas as faixas etárias estudadas (p < 0,05). Houve comprometimento moderado do tronco. Não houve correlação entre o TA6 e a EDT (r = 0,269; p = 0,144). De acordo com os valores preditos para a população saudável, os pacientes com disfunção neurológica possuem um desempenho funcional e endurance de membros superiores inferiores ao esperado para sua faixa etária. O TA6 é um teste simples, rápido e barato, útil para reabilitação neurofuncional, pois mimetiza as atividades de vida diária, entretanto não se correlacionou com a EDT.

OBJETIVOS: Avaliar o papel da eletrocauterização como método adjuvante isolado na ressecção intralesional dos tumores ósseos benignos, levando em conta fatores associados à recorrência dessas lesões. MÉTODOS: Foram incluídos 47 pacientes com diagnóstico de tumores ósseos benignos que foram tratados com curetagem associada a eletrocauterização como método adjuvante. Os pacientes foram acompanhados por um tempo médio de 32,7± 19,4 meses e foi avaliada a taxa de recidiva em relação às seguintes variáveis: idade, sexo, localização do tumor, tipo histológico, estadiamento (B1, B2, B3), tamanho, tipo de material utilizado como preenchimento (PMMA ou enxerto ósseo). A taxa e o tipo de complicação pós-operatória também foram analisadas. RESULTADOS: A recidiva global foi de 19,1%, havendo correlação significante do grau do tumor em relação ao tempo de recidiva (p=0,028). Não foram observados outros fatores diretamente relacionados à recidiva local. CONCLUSÃO: A eletrocauterização mostrou-se um método simples, barato e eficaz no tratamento adjuvante dos tumores ósseos benignos. Nivel de Evidência IV, serie de casos.

<p class="p1">El arsénico presente en agua puede llegar a causar serios problemas en la salud de los consumidores. En Costa Rica, se han identificado aguas de consumo humano con concentraciones mayores al límite permitido (10 µg/L). La adsorción del arsénico por un material adsorbente ha sido utilizada en otros países con éxito. Para ello, se han utilizado gran variedad de materiales adsorbentes sintéticos, naturales o subproductos de procesos industriales o agrícolas. Los adsorbentes sintéticos, por lo general, presentan alta capacidad de adsorción pero representan altos costos adquisitivos, contrariamente a los materiales naturales y de residuos de procesos que aunque tienen capacidades de adsorción menores, son más baratos y se encuentran más fácilmente. En el marco del contexto en mención, se presenta un análisis de las opciones de materiales naturales de origen local y de bajo costo adquisitivo, con un contenido relativamente alto de óxidos de hierro, aluminio y titanio, que podrían ser utilizados para remover arsénico del agua. Los materiales identificados son biotita, piedra caliza, diatomita, arenas ricas en magnetita y rocas piroclásticas de composición basáltica. Todos esos materiales son originarios de la zona de Guanacaste, afectada por la presencia de arsénico en agua.</p>
