Abstract:
Šiame straipsnyje pristatomo tyrimo tikslas – atskleisti benamių asmenų patirties ir savęs vertinimo sąsajas. Siekiama ne tik apskritai ištirti benamių asmenų savęs vertinimą, bet ir išsiaiškinti, kaip benamių savęs vertinimas susijęs su jų socialinėmis ir demografinėmis charakteristikomis, šeiminiais ryšiais ir benamystės patirtimi. Pirmoje straipsnio dalyje aprašoma savęs vertinimo samprata bei benamių asmenų savęs vertinimo ypatumai. Antroje – pagrindinėje – dalyje pristatomi benamių apklausos, atliktos Vilniaus ir Panevėžio miestuose, rezultatai.Tyrimas padėjo atskleisti ne tik bendrą benamių asmenų charakteristiką, bet ir parodė jų savęs vertinimo lygį. Išsiaiškinta, kad benamių asmenų savęs vertinimas yra žemas arba vidutinis. Benamiai asmenys, nors ir pakankamai teigiamai žiūri į save, linkę sutikti, kad kartais jaučiasi nieko verti, ir norėtų labiau save gerbti. Benamiai asmenys, nors ir sutinka, kad turi gerų savybių, darbus atlieka taip pat gerai kaip ir kiti, tačiau įsitikinę, kad turi nedaug kuo didžiuotis. Benamių asmenų savęs vertinimas statistiškai reikšmingai susijęs su alkoholio vartojimu. Daugiau alkoholio vartojantys asmenys pasižymi žemesne saviverte. Benamių asmenų savęs vertinimas statistiškai reikšmingai susijęs su sveikatos įverčiu. Blogesne sveikata besiskundžiantys benamiai asmenys turi žemesnę savivertę. Savęs vertinimas statistiškai reikšmingai susijęs su išsilavinimu. Aukštesnį išsilavinimą turintys asmenys save vertina geriau. Tyrime nebuvo gauta statistiškai reikšmingų benamių asmenų savęs vertinimo ir socialinių ryšių duomenų. Vilniaus ir Panevėžio benamių asmenų savęs vertinimas statistiškai reikšmingai skiriasi. Panevėžyje gyvenančių benamių savivertė yra žemesnė nei gyvenančių Vilniuje. Tai gali lemti, kad Panevėžyje benamiai vartoja statistiškai reikšmingai daugiau alkoholio ir skundžiasi prasta sveikata.

Abstract:
Šis straipsnis yra parašytas remiantis autorių atliktais tyrimais bendradarbiaujant su FEANTSA (Nacionalinių organizacijų, dirbančių su benamiais, Europos federacija). Daugelyje Europos Sąjungos senųjų narių benamių problemos pradėtos viešinti, o vėliau ir spręsti praėjusio šimtmečio septintuoju-aštuntuoju dešimtmečiu. Lietuvoje, Latvijoje ir Estijoje apie benamystę kaip socialinę problemą pradėta kalbėti tik paskutinio praėjusio dešimtmečio viduryje. Per šiuos keturiolika metų visuomenės ir valdžios dėmesys benamystės problemai išgyveno tris etapus: 1) iki 1995 metų benamystės problemą neigiama ir ignoruojama; 2) 1995-2005 metais – problema pripažįstama, siūlomos pirmosios priemonės jai spręsti (per 2001 metų surašymą bandyta įvertinti benamių skaičių), priimti teisiniai dokumentai ir numatomos priemonės; 3) po 2005 metų problema mažai akcentuojama, prioritetas teikiamas kitoms socialinėms problemoms. Tai atsispindi visų trijų Baltijos šalių vyriausybių priimtuose nacionaliniuose socialinės aprėpties priemonių planuose, tarp kurių 2004-2006 metų plane keliama benamių problema ir numatytos priemonės, o vėlesni planai suteikia prioritetą šeimos, vaikų skurdo mažinimo, užimtumo didinimo klausimams. Straipsnyje nagrinėjami trijų šalių būsto politikos bei benamystės problemų sprendimo panašumai ir skirtumai bei Europos sąjungos įtaka, pasireiškianti sudarant nacionalinius socialinės aprėpties didinimo planus ir vykdant numatytas priemones. Visų trijų Baltijos šalių benamystės politikoje akcentuojamas apgyvendinimas. Nakvynės namai – tai pagrindinė benamiams teikiama paslauga. Ši priemonė yra būtina, bet, deja, nėra integruojanti. Straipsnio pabaigoje pateikiama siūlymų, kaip galima plėsti socialinių paslaugų įvairovę, pabrėžiamas šios grupės gyventojų įtraukimas į visuomenę ir darbo rinką.

Abstract:
Straipsnyje analizuojamas benamių atskirties procesas ir jo etapai, nagrinėjami pagrindiniai atskirties formavimosi lygmenys ir veiksniai. Parodoma, kad benamių atskirtį lemia ne tik jų sunki materialinė padėtis ir nutrūkę socialiniai ryšiai, bet ir nepakankamai efektyvi valstybės socialinė politika bei pačių benamių asmeninės dvasinės savybės, lemiančios jų stigmatizaciją ir atstūmimą. Socialinė benamių atskirtis yra dvipusis procesas: viena vertus, ją sąlygoja paties žmogaus asmenybės struktūra ir elgsena, kita vertus – socialinė aplinka, kurioje jis gyvena.

Abstract:
Democratic governance empowers and provides citizens the opportunity to live a life of their free will. Unfortunately, Pakistans democracy is confronted with numerous challenges. Among these challenges, governance issues are worthy of attention. The paper especially focuses on PPPs first tenure under Benazir Bhutto in terms of its commitment to democratic governance. It was expected that the norms of democracy would be strengthened, and the country would never see dictatorial rule again in any manifestation. This paper examines PPPs style of governance keeping in view its fragile position in the parliament and the all-over hostile working environment in the country in 1988-90. Centreprovincial relationship; especially Punjab, has also been taken into account. The study explores Benazirs claims and struggles for strengthening democracy. Furthermore, the paper highlights those factors that made the party to fulfil its commitments and to bring the systm of good governance in Pakistan.

Abstract:
In this work are submitted the data of the homeless (living in the streets, shelters and boarding schools) and people having a living space (working people and pupils from the secondary schools), with the purpose of the analysis of homeless personality especialies. Personality especialies – motivation to study, self – esteem, values and psychological filling. 340 men participated in the research. From them 176 are homelesses (126 teenagers living in the boarding schools and 50 middle adult people living in the shelters and in the street ). The teenager‘s age was from 12 to 18 years old. Middle adult age people were selected from 34 to 60 years old ( By Barbara & Philip Newman). With the purpose to analyze homeless personality especialies, such as hypotheses and tasks were put forward (which subsequently have proved to be true): 1. Magistrantūros darbo „Kitoks“ teorinėje dalyje nagrinėjama „kitokio“ žmogaus egzistencija šiuolaikinėje vartotojiškoje visuomenėje. Analizuojant „kitokio“ žmogaus egzistencializmą šiuolaikinėje postmodernioje visuomenėje, rėmiausi sociologų, kaip Z. Baumano, J. Ruškaus, V. Gudžinskienės, Ž. Jurgutienės, E. Kocai sociologiniais tyrinėjimais šiuo klausimu. Darbo aktualumas – „kitokio“ žmogaus tema buvo aktuali visais laikais. Ypatingai aktuali šio postmodernaus amžiaus visuomenėje, kai atsirado didelis žmonių pasiskirstymas luomine klasifikacija. Darbo temos problematika padeda atskleisti „kitokio“ žmogaus egzistencializmą, su savo baimėmis, nepilnaverčio žmogaus kompleksais, išgyvenant vidinius ir išorinius tapatybės bei būties klausimus.
Master's work in 'Other' theoretical part the "other" human existence in modern consumer society. Theanalysis of "the other" humanexistentialism in contemporary post-modern society, I quoted sociologists as Ruškaus S, Gudžinskienės V., Jurgutienės Z. , Kocai E. sociological exploration of this issue. Relevance of the work - "other" human subject was relevant at all times. Especially relevant in this post-modern age of society, when there were people in the distribution of high caste classification. Topics of the problem helps to reveal the "other" human existentialism, with its fears, complexes of a disabled person, experiencing internal and external questions of existence and identity. The aim - through social literature to analyze the "other" human being, his position in modern society. Try to reveal a portrait of a visual depiction. The painting collection "Other" examines the problem - homeless existence in modern consumer society.

Bakalauro baigiamajame darbe nagrinėjama institucinė galios raiška Vengrijos Szegedo miesto ir Lietuvos Šiaulių miesto socialinėse benamių organizacijose. Darbe analizuojami socialinės visuomenės formavimosi principai, socialinių institucijų funkcionavimas ir jų daroma įtaka žmogui; analizuojama galios samprata bei jos raiškos būdai. Kadangi galia kontroliuoti egzistuoja kiekvienoje institucijoje, tai empirinėje dalyje yra nagrinėjama jos raiška Socialinių darbuotojų etikos kodekse; įrodinėjama, kad galia kontroliuoti reiškiasi socialinėse benamių organizacijose. Nustatyta, kad institucinė galios raiška yra pradedama formuoti Socialinių darbuotojų etikos kodekse, kuriame benamiai formuojami, kaip priklausomi nuo socialinių darbuotojų.
The bachelor thesis examines the institutional expression of power of the social organizations of the homeless in Hungary – Szeged and Lithuania – Siauliai. The paper analyzes the formation of the public policies, the functioning of social institutions and their influence on a human being; it also analyzes the concept of power and its means of expression. Since the power to control exists within every institution, the empirical part of the research examines this expression of power of Social workers code of ethics; it is being established that the power to control manifests in social organizations of the homeless. It was determined that the institutional expression of power is beginning to be formed in the Social workers code of ethics, in which the homeless are formed as dependent on social workers. In the social organizations of the homeless the institutional expression of power is detected in every implemented activity of the organization.

Magistro baigiamajame darbe išanalizuotos benamystės problemos, benamystės sąvokos ribų sudėtingumas ir skirtingas apibrėžtinumas ES šalyse. Taip pat išanalizuotos Lietuvos ir ES šalių vykdoma politika benamystės klausimu. Pirmoje darbo dalyje tiriama užsienio ir Lietuvos autorių mokslinė literatūra, kurios pagalba patikslinamos darbo užduotys, patvirtinamas temos pagrįstumas, tyrimo tikslo pakankamumas. Taip pat analizuojamos benamystės priežastys ir tapsmo benamiu procesas, atskleidžiama benamystės sąvokos problema bei benamių klasifikacija. Antroje dalyje ištiriamos ES socialinės politikos ištakos ir raida benamystės kontekste, taip pat analizuojamos ES vykdomos strategijos skurdui ir benamystei sumažinti. Išanalizuojami ir palyginami 2009 m. ir 2010 m. Eurostato pateiktų skurdo rizikos lygio rodikliai. Trečioje baigiamojo darbo dalyje analizuojama LT socialinė politika benamystės kontekste, jos ištakos ir raida, Lietuvoje vykdomos strategijos ir projektai benamystei mažinti. Taip pat pateikiami ir palyginami Lietuvos statistikos departamento skurdo rizikos rodiklių 2010 m. ir 2011 m. duomenys. Ketvirtoje darbo dalyje pristatomi empirinio tyrimo rezultatai: apibūdinamas Vilniaus miesto nakvynės namų ir Vilniaus Carito nakvynės namų darbo pobūdis, veiklos tikslai ir pagrindinės užduotys, įvertinama socialinių darbuotojų nuomonė, kuri atskleidžia skirtingą požiūrį ir skirtingą benamystės problemos vertinimą organizacijose.
The problem of homelessness, the complexity of the limits of homelessness concept and the difference in defining it in the EU countries are analysed in this Master’s thesis. The policy on homelessness carried out in Lithuania and EU countries is also dealt with in it. In the first part of the thesis, the literature of foreign and Lithuanian authors on the subject is explored It helps to make the tasks of the work more precise, to corroborate the validity of the theme, to state the sufficiency of the target explored. The causes of homelessness and the process of becoming a homeless are analysed as well, the problem of the concept of homelessness and the classification of the homeless are disclosed here too. The second part explores the sources of the EU policy and its development in the context of homelessness, and the EU strategies that are in progress to diminish poverty and homelessness are described. The indices of poverty risk level as reported by the EUROSTAT in 2009 and 2010 are analysed and compared. The third part of the thesis deals with the Lithuania’s social policy in the context of homelessness, its sources and development, the strategies and projects in progress in Lithuania to diminish homelessness. Also, the indices in years 2010 and 2011 on poverty risks are presented and compared according to the data of the Statistics Department of Lithuania. Abstract:
Šiame darbe yra analizuojama benamių socialinė integracija į visuomenę. Ši problema atsirado Lietuvoje atkūrus nepriklausomybę ir pertvarkius planinę ekonomiką į rinkos. Po staigių ekonominių ir socialinių pasikeitimų, atsirado paklausos mažėjimas, išaugo nedarbingumo lygis, krito pragyvenimo lygis. To pasekmėje, dalis visuomenės neįgalėjo prisitaikyti prie naujų gyvenimo sąlygų, taigi atsirado naujas reiškinys – benamių subkultūra. Patekus į šią subkultūrą yra labai sunku iš jos išsiveržti, kadangi žmonės prisitaiko ir net įpranta prie tokio gyvenimo būdo. Benamiai praranda socialinius ir profesinius įgūdžius, negali savarankiškai išspręsti asmeninių problemų, nesugeba pasinaudoti viešojo sektoriaus tiekiamomis paslaugomis. Benamystės problema Lietuvoje yra a����tri ir aktuali visuomenės problema. Ji yra mažai nagrinėta. Benamystės problemai skiriama pernelyg mažai dėmesio, trūksta objektyvios ir patikimos informacijos. Lietuvoje yra išleisti įstatymai, reglamentuojantys įvairių socialinių grupių integravimą į visuomenę: asmenų, grįžusių iš kalėjimo, neįgaliųjų, rizikos grupių šeimų, imigrantų. Tačiau benamiais tampa asmenys, priklausantys visoms socialinėms grupėms, todėl jie turėtų būti išskirti kaip atskira socialinė grupė, kurios socialinę integraciją reglamentuotų įstatymai. The problem of homeless social integration into society is analyzed in this work. This problem occurred in Lithuania after regaining independency and reforming planar economy into market economy. After sudden economical and social changes production recession showed up, increased unemployment and decreased living standards. As a result part of a society didn’t manage to adapt to changes taking place, therefore a new phenomenon appeared – homeless subculture. Got into this subculture it’s very hard to get out because people adapt and even become accustomed to such life. Homeless have lost their social and professional skills, they can’t resolve their problems on their own, can’t avail of public sector afforded services. Problem of homelessness is topical and studied little in Lithuania. Little attention is given to this problem, there’s lack of objective and reliable information. There is laws released regulating integration of different social groups into society: individuals, which returned from prison, the disabled, risk group families, refugees. However homeless becomes individuals belonging to all social groups, that’s why they should be pointed out as separate group whose social integration was regulated by separate laws. Abstract:
Benamių gyvūnų globos ir teisių apsaugos problemos yra aktualios viso pasaulio mastu. Europos Sąjungos erdvėje benamiai gyvūnai vertinami skirtingai, atsižvelgiant į nacionalinius įstatymus, tradicijas, istoriją ir elgesio kultūrą. Benamių gyvūnų reprodukcijos problema yra visuotinai pripažinta, tačiau nėra globali. Visuomenės pasirengimas globoti ir rūpintis benamiais gyvūnais rodo jos sąmoningumo ir atsakingumo lygį. Šio baigiamojo darbo tikslas - išanalizuoti benamių gyvūnų teisių ir globos problemas, jų atsiradimo priežastis ir sprendimo būdus, remiantis Lietuvos Respublikos gyvūnų gerovės srities ekspertų nuomone bei Europos Sąjungos šalių gerąja patirtimi. Darbe nagrinėjama užsienio ir Lietuvos mokslinė literatūra, kuri padėjo suformuluoti darbo uždavinius ir įsitikinti darbo temos pasirinkimo pagrįstumu. LR, ES, Jungtynės Karalystės ir Vokietijos Federacijos teisės aktų bei kitų dokumentų analizė padėjo įvertinti benamių gyvūnų globos ir teisių reglamentavimo pakankamumą, palyginti Lietuvos ir kitų Bendrijos šalių praktiką šioje srityje. Care for and rights protection of homeless animals are the pressing problems of today’s World. The attitudes of EU members towards homeless animals do differ depending on national policies and legislation, local traditions, history and culture. The problem of homeless animals’ excessive reproduction is recognised at some level but not yet globally. Society is ready to care and protect homeless animals, which shows the level of its consciousness and responsibility. The purpose of this master’s work is to analyze the issues concerning the rights and protection of homeless animals; define the root of the problems and suggest the solutions relying on the expertise of Lithuanian specialists who work for the animal welfare, and incorporating the successful experience of EU countries. The literature of both foreign and Lithuanian authors has been studied in the project in order to help to indicate and set the tasks for this work and to support the validity of choosing the topic. In order to evaluate the efficiency of regulations concerning the welfare and rights of homeless animals, the analysis of legal (and other types) documents of Lithuanian Republic, European Union, United Kingdom and German Federation has been undertaken. Abstract:
Dans le coeur, les fibroblastes représentent la population cellulaire majoritaire en nombre. Ces dernières années, des études ont révélé un rôle important de ces cellules dans le fonctionnement normal et pathologique du coeur. Les fibroblastes sont physiologiquement la source de nombreux facteurs autocrines et paracrines. Ils sont également à la base du renouvellement de la matrice extra-cellulaire (MEC). En réponse à un stress pathologique, ils peuvent subir un processus de différenciation en myofibroblastes et une altération de leurs propriétés et de leur fonction à l'origine d'un dysfonctionnement cardiaque. Bien que les fibroblastes soient considérés comme des cellules non excitables, des études ont révélé ces dernières années l'expression fonctionnelle de différents canaux ioniques sur leur membrane. L'objectif de ma thèse a été d'une part de caractériser au niveau moléculaire et fonctionnel de nouvelles conductances dans les fibroblastes cardiaques et d'autre part d'évaluer leur impact sur les propriétés fonctionnelles de ces cellules. Un criblage par PCR à haut rendement a permis de révéler l'expression d'un ensemble de gènes codant des sous-unités canalaires dans les fibroblastes cardiaques. Parmi ces gènes, ceux codant les sous-unités SUR2 et Kir6. 1 ont le niveau d'expression le plus élevé. L'association des unités SUR2 et Kir6. 1 étant connue pour former un canal potassique, nous avons focalisé notre intérêt sur ces deux sous-unités. Des analyses par western-blot ont montré une augmentation progressive de l'expression des unités SUR2 et Kir6. 1 au cours de la différenciation des fibroblastes en myofibroblastes. Des enregistrements en patch-clamp en configuration « inside-out » ont révélé l'activité d'un canal potassique, insensible à l’ATP mais inhibé par le glibenclamide et activé par l'UDP et le pinacidil. Ce canal possède des caractéristiques similaires au canal de type SUR2/Kir6. 1 décrit pour la première fois par Yamada et collaborateurs en 1997. Au niveau macroscopique des enregistrements en patchclamp en cellule entière ont permis de mettre en évidence la fonctionnalité d'un courant potassique activé par le pinacidil et sensible au glibenclamide. De plus l'expression fonctionnelle de ce courant est concomitante avec l'expression protéique des sous-unités SUR2 et Kir6. 1. La sphingosine-1-phosphate (S1P), un sphingolipide fortement sécrété en condition pathologique est également capable d'activer cette conductance par l'intermédiaire du récepteur de type 3 à la S1P (S1P3) et ce à des concentrations de l'ordre du nM. L'activation du canal SUR2/Kir6. 1 par le pinacidil ou par la S1P est capable de stimuler la prolifération et de diminuer la sécrétion d’IL-6 et de collagène. En revanche la S1P est également capable de stimuler la migration par l'intermédiaire du S1P3 mais indépendemment du canal SUR2/Kir6. 1. Parallèlement à ces résultats obtenus sur la souris, des expériences préliminaires suggèrent la présence de cette conductance dans des fibroblastes auriculaires humains. En conclusion, ce travail a permis de mettre en évidence pour la première fois dans les fibroblastes cardiaques une conductance potassique sensible au glibenclamide lors de la différenciation des fibroblastes en myofibroblastes et dont la modulation pourrait influer sur la physiopathologie cardiaque
In the heart, fibroblasts represent the major cell type. They contribute to the production of the extracellular matrix. Cardiac remodelling during pathological injury is associated with differenciation of fibroblasts into myofibroblasts. The aim of this study was to characterize at molecular and functional levels a new K conductance in these cells. Among K channel transcripts which were screened by high-throughput real-time PCR, SUR2 and Kir6. 1 mRNAs were found to be the most abundant. Western-blots showed that SUR2 and Kir6. 1 protein expression levels increased with culture duration as fibroblasts differenciated into myofibroblasts. In the inside-out configuration of the patch-clamp technique, SUR2/Kir6. 1 K channels were recorded and showed insensitivity to ATP, inhibition by glibenclamide and activation by pinacidil and UDP. These properties are similar to those reported by Yamada et al (1998) for the SUR2/Kir6. 1 molecular signature. In the whole cell configuration, these channels gave rise to a macroscopic glibenclamide-sensitive current which was activated by pinacidil and which amplitude increased with culture duration. This current was also activated by the endogenous sphingolipid sphingosine-1-phosphate (S1P) at the nM concentration range. The activation of this current was found to stimulate cell proliferation and to decrease IL-6 and collagen secretion. All these functional effects occurred for culture duration greater than 5 days. In conclusion this work shows for the first time the presence of a glibenclamide-sensitive current which appears during differenciation of fibroblasts into myofibroblasts. This SUR2/Kir6. 1 current, which may be activated in pathological conditions where fibroblasts differentiate into myofibroblasts and where S1P level increases, may modulate cardiac ventricular function

Abstract:
This thesis examines the revival of the sphoṭa doctrine in early modern Benares and Śeṣakṛṣṇa's Sphoṭattvanirūpaṇa as an influential work in that revival. The sphoṭa doctrine is the richest contribution of the grammarians to the philosophy of language, but its semantic significance was not highlighted until late, because its theological implication was stronger. Śeṣakṛṣṇa was a renowned Sanskrit grammarian who flourished in sixteenth-century Benares. He also wrote poetry and Dharmasastric works, and played an important role as a juridical authority. Despite his illustrious career, Śeṣakṛṣṇa encountered criticism for his works from contemporary critics. The only work he wrote solely on the philosophy of language was the Sphoṭattvanirūpaṇa. As the first discrete work on sphoṭa by a grammarian, the Sphoṭattvanirūpaṇa represented an important landmark in the later expositions of the doctrine of sphoṭa particularly because it renewed the later grammarians' interest in sphoṭa, which then resulted in a series of individual works of a similar sort. The revival of the sphoṭa doctrine in early modern Benares coincided with that of the philosophy of language, which was caused by a number of social and intellectual factors in different proportions and phases. Śeṣakṛṣṇa's Sphoṭattvanirūpaṇa emerged on the eve of that revival, and can be recognized as a pioneer work in terms of its revitalization of the grammarians' interpretation of sphoṭa after a period of dormancy, and its influence on later works on sphoṭa.
