Abstract:
The Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) method is a method commonly used in benchmarking. The Dynamic Data Envelopment Analysis (DDEA) method was proposed to improve the DEA method in the benchmarking process. The DDEA method proposed can determine the effectiveness of the Decision Making Unit (DMU). The disadvantage of the DDEA model is that it cannot handle problems that involve benchmarking for stochastic data. To improve the DDEA method, the Stochastic Data Envelopment Analysis (SDEA) method is proposed which can be used for benchmarking involving stochastic data. The SDEA method itself has we

Benchmarking is a systematic and continuous process by comparing the products, processes, and results of an organization with other similar organizations. Benchmarking is generally done by comparing it to an organization that has a better level because it aims to provide input for internal improvement in the organization so that it becomes better than the position before the benchmarking was done. Educational institutions also need to carry out a benchmarking process as this can contribute to determining learning and promotion strategies, improving the learning process and curriculum developme

Evaluating the performance assessments of solvers (e.g., for computation programs), known as the solver benchmarking problem, has become a topic of intense study, and various approaches have been discussed in the literature. Such a variety of approaches exist because a benchmark problem is essentially a multicriteria problem. In particular, the appropriate multicriteria decision-making problem can correspond naturally to each benchmark problem and vice versa. In this study, to solve the solver benchmarking problem, we apply the ranking-theory method recently proposed for solving multicriteria

Rational implementation of energy efficiency strategies for the urban settlements can be possible with the comprehensive building stock models which have the ability to estimate and evaluate the energy demand of the building stock together with surrounding urban structures. The research initially focused to determine the factors which have an influence on the urban energy performance and rating, labeling, benchmarking systems used for evaluat

The current trends in the growth of the scale and complexity of society's workload demands and the systems built to cope with these demands increases the anxiety surrounding service disruptions. Self-adaptive mechanisms instill dynamic behavior to systems in an effort to improve their resilience to runtime changes that would otherwise result in service disruption or failure, such as faults, errors, and attacks. Unfortunately, most time series prediction methods assume the property of stationarity, i.e., statistical properties do not change over time. In this context, nonstationary time series prediction is challenging since it demands knowledge of both data transformation and prediction methods. Sinc
