The oxidation process, which occurs under controlled conditions with temperatures ranging from 130 °C to 165 °C, typically results in a conversion rate of 50% toluene with a selectivity of 80% over benzoic acid. The fractions of benzyl benzoate and fluorenone were enriched from the benzoic acid residua by flash separation. Then this fraction was separated by vacuum batch distillation. The recovery of benzoic acid residua was implemented. The experiment proves this method is feasible. And purity about 90% of benzyl benzoate and more than 85% of fluorenone products were obtained. Simultaneously the study analyzed the impact of tower top pressure, tower top and bottom temperature, reflux ratio on product purity. It is well-known that benzil (diphenylethanedione) has near-skewed form in the ground state, while the structure in the excited singlet state has been attributed to trans-planar geometry. อนุพันธ์ของสารคาร์เพสเตอรอล (13-15) ถูกสังเคราะห์ขึ้นโดยเปลี่ยนหมู่ฟังก์ชันไฮดรอกซิที่ตำแหน่ง C22 ไปเป็นหมู่ acetyl (13) หมู่ benzyl (14) และหมู่ benzoyl (15) สารเหล่านี้แสดงฤทธิ์ยับยั้งไลเพสด้วยค่าเปอร์เซ็นต์การยับยั้งไลเพส เท่ากับ 72.60 ± 5.9%, 87.82 ± 3.00% และ 81.26 ± 3.64% ตามลำดับ ที่ความเข้มข้น 1.25 mg/ml ขณะที่สารคาร์เพสเตอรอลแสดงฤทธิ์ยับยั้งไลเพสด้วยค่าเปอร์เซ็นต์การยับยั้งไลเพส เท่ากับ 62.3 ± 6.2% ที่ความเข้มข้นเดียวกัน นอกจากนี้ยังทดสอบฤทธิ์ยับยั้งไลเพสของสารที่มีโครงสร้างหลักคล้ายคาร์เพสเตอรอล ได้แก่ stigmasterol, β-sitosterol, campesterol และ cholesterol พบว่าสารทั้งสี่มีฤทธิ์ยับย
