Full textThis degree project concerns the different processes involved in the preparatory work for a local low voltage power grid. TROLK El & Tele AB will, at the request of Ellevio AB, conduct preparations to demolish the overhead power lines that make up the existing power grid on the island Åstol off the coast of Tjörn and replace it with an underground cable grid. Today, many grid owners opt to replace their overhead power lines with underground cables as it provides higher reliability and makes the grid less vulnerable to weather conditions. Multiple field visits have been carried out during the course of the project to provide a clearer perception of the circumstances and conditions surrounding the project as well as to establish customer contact. Some changes have been made to the preparation as a result of these visits, for example, the location of a number of cables that would be placed down steep slopes was changed. This would have potentially resulted in increased risk for workers, as well as unnecessary costs and would be time-consuming. Alternative solutions concerning, for example, the location of cable distribution cabinets have been chosen as a result of requests from residents on the island or the local road association. The reconstruction of the grid is encompassed by the demolition of 1180 meters of overhead power lines and 25 utility poles, as well as the replacement of 11 cable distribution cabinets and the rebuilding of one of the two substations located within the area. The entire project affects a total of 59 customers. A preliminary P2 cost calculation has been carried out, which currently shows a cost of approximately 1.2 million SEK, but this may be subject to change in the future as negotiations with various stakeholders is still ongoing.

Full textThe thesis deals with how preparation work is accomplished in rural networks, by field work, landowner contact, contracts and permit applications. The described preparation work is the basis for the implementation of the project from Ellevio AB. The reconstruction is performed in order to secure the voltage and get a more weatherproofed network, but also to get rejuvenation of the network. The preparation work is done for PSN Kraftkonsult Eldistribution AB in Vedum and performed using their working methods. The preparation work is performed in the area of Hassle north of the town Mariestad. The project is divided into two interim stages. Stage one is called Hassle sub-station – Källtorp and the second one is Fåleberg – Nolhassle. These two stages are parts of one large reconstruction of the distribution network in the area by Ellevio AB in the near time. Due to the fact that a major rebuilding project of the E20 in the affected area the projector’s intended rout for the cable had to be changed. And it became 1100 m further. The result of the preparation work includes two new 10/04 kV substations, one new cable cabinet, 5850 meters of high-voltage cable and 500 meters low-voltage cable. All the cables will be placed in the ground and for the most they will be plowed down. Substations and cable cabinets will be placed strategically to create the strongest network as possible and for good availability for future maintenance.

Full textThis report will focused on how the preparatory work between Myren-Torseröd in Tanum will proceed. On behalf of Ellevio AB, the preparation and construction company Trolk EL & Tele AB shall weatherproof an area between Galtö-Torseröd in Tanum. This report will only include the distribution 0,4-24 kV in the area between Myren-Torseröd. The existing overhead line network will be dismantled and replaced with underground cables. Even existing substations and pole stations to be scrapped and replaced with new ones. During the preparatory work, there have been field visits to get an overview of the field of processing operations, and to measure the position of e.g. substations. To have access to the ground the preparation worker must sign contracts with landowners, and shall also seek authorization from the County Administrative Board, the transport department and municipality. The entire preparation work in this project includes 68 customers.

Full textWith recent technical development computer aided design and manufacturing has taken amore important role in the product life cycle. New business segments such as Product/ServiceSystems and remanufacturing is emerging. This development demands better control of theproduct data throughout the entire product life cycle. Computer aided design is widelyrecognized and used within the manufacturing industries and in recent years the importance ofDigital manufacturing has increased. One part of Digital manufacturing is paperlessproduction which involves all orders and working instruction shown for example on a screenrather than on a piece of paper. In order to aid companies in creating better workinginstructions Dassault Systémes has launched the product 3Dvia Composer.The company DELFOi is working with digital manufacturing on the Nordic market and is areseller of Dassault Systémes products. DELFOi wants to know if 3Dvia Composer hasanything valuable to add to their product portfolio, what profits may be gained from it andwhat type of costumers that can make use of the product. DELFOi also wants to know whatparts of the product life cycle that can be covered by 3Dvia Composer and how to implementthe program into their product portfolio.To achieve this five companies that operate in different parts of the product life cycle wasinterviewed in order to map how they work with instructions and to identify their needsregarding their methodology. Theories about man/machine-interface have been studied andthese theories, together with the result from the interviews, form the base from which thepossibilities of 3Dvia Composer are evaluated. The software is also compared to other similarsoftware in a benchmarking. A document that describes the implementation process for 3DviaComposer at a customer site is compiled and presented.The study shows that interactive working instructions has a lot of advantages and can solve alot of problems related to work instructions that are identified in this study. 3Dvia Composeris a competent software for creating interactive work instructions. Regardless, great deals ofresources are required to sell 3Dvia Composer due to that most companies, even though theyidentify a lot of problems, seem satisfied with the current method for working instructions,and therefore do not seek change.

För atthjälpa företag att bereda bättre arbetsinstruktioner har Dassault Systémes lanserat produkten3Dvia Composer.Företaget DELFOi arbetar med digital manufacturing på den nordiska marknaden och äråterförsäljare av Dassault Systémes produkter. DELFOi önskar veta om 3Dvia Composer ären produkt som tillför produktportföljen något och vilka vinster den kan ge deras kunder. Detär även viktigt att företaget har en modell som kan användas för att marknadsföra ochimplementera Composer framgångsrikt hos kund.För att utreda detta intervjuades fem företag som bereder instruktioner för olika delar avproduktlivscykeln. Deras arbetssätt kring arbetsinstruktioner kartlades, samt behov och bristeri arbetssätt identifierades. Teorier för människa/maskin-gränssnitt och elektroniskaarbetsinstruktioner studerades. Utifrån dessa teorier och resultatet från intervjuernautvärderades sedan 3Dvia Composers kompetens för framtagning av arbetsinstruktioner.Programvaran jämfördes också med konkurrerande program i en benchmarking. Slutligenarbetades metodik och dokument fram för hur DELFOi kan implementera 3Dvia Composerhos kund.Detta arbete visar att interaktiva arbetsinstruktioner har många fördelar och kan lösa många avde problem som företag idag identifierar relaterat till beredning av arbetsinstruktioner och3Dvia Composer är en kompetent programvara för att uppnå detta. Det kommer dock attkrävas stora arbetsresurser för att sälja 3Dvia Composer, eftersom de flesta företag, trots enrad uttalade problem, är nöjda med dagens arbetsmetodik och därför har svårt att söka nyalösningar på problemen.

Full textThis thesis is about how preparation work is accomplished by contracts and permit search to network planning and dimensions. The requirement for reliable electric power increases because electricity is such an important part of our society. Large disruptions cause significant costs for electric distribution companies and customers. . To increase reliability and make the power grid weather secured, overhead lines are replaced with underground power cable. The preparation work is preformed to weatherproof the electric power grid in Restenäs-Andorra outside Ljungskile in the municipality of Uddevalla, by placing power cable in the ground instead of overhead power lines. The project will be implemented in connection with the development of communal water and sewer to reduce the cost of excavation. The result of this preparation work includes a new 10/0,4 kV substation, four cable boxes together with 1200 m of high voltage power cable and 800 m of low voltage power cable. The electric transmission network has been placed in the same excavation as water and sewer as long as possible. The substation and cable boxes are placed for easy access and to create a good mesh. A P2-calculation has been created to get an overview of the costs of the project.

Full textThe thesis describes a preparation work for Ellevio AB. The preparation work is supposed to rebuild the power grid in Sjöhaga - Lerdala in Skövde municipality with the aim to weatherproofing the local area network and increase the reliability. The project concerns all work on preparation such as contact with authorities and landowners involved in the project, in order to agree on where the new cables can be built. Field visits were conducted continuously during the project for an overview of the area and to plan possible cable stretches, as well as the best possible location for the network stations in agreement with the landowners. The preparation of the underground cable is carried out in four parts, part one is Sjöhaga - Melldala, part two is Melldala - Karlsfors, part three is Karlsfors - Dämman and part four is Dämman – Lerdala Farm. Part one will have a serial satellite network station with a 200kVA transformer and no local network preparation will take place at this stage. In part two Karlsfors will keep its current local distribution network and network station, part three will have an ELIT3 network station fitted with a 100kVA transformer. For part four, there will be an ELIT3 network station with 100kVA transformer and three cable cabinets. In addition to these parts, the possibility for a redundancy feeding between Karlsfors - Yttersöra was investigated. However, when this was perceived as not possible due to the environmental conditions, it was decided, on the recommendation of a supervisor at PSN Kraftkonsult, to be placed between Dämman - Björnsäter with a overhead cable on existing poles. The cost of the renewal amounts to 2.6 million SEK and 449 thousand SEK for the redundancy from Dämman to Björnsäter. Network stations are positioned in Melldala, Dämman and Lerdala Farm which also has three cable cabinets. The total cable length of the HV-system is 6.5 km and the LV-system is 1.70 km.
