Formatosi in Francia a stretto contatto con le nuove teorie di Buffon e Lavoisier, professore all'Universit di Pisa e direttore del Giardino Botanico dal 1782, Santi costituisce una delle personalit scientifiche di maggiore interesse fra diciottesimo e diciannovesimo secolo, esponente di punta di quel gruppo toscano impegnato nella realizzazione del vasto progetto del Granduca Pietro Leopoldo prima e della nuova amministrazione francese in seguito.

Abstract:

This article aims to present the preliminary results of the project Fragmenta Iguvina, including a catalogue of the manuscript fragments hitherto disseminated through the online database Fragmentarium. First, a history of the Biblioteca Comunale Sperelliana (in Gubbio) and its archive is offered. Then the paper gives an overview of the research on the manuscript fragments which have been discovered in situ within the bindings of the early-printed volumes at the Sperelliana. The reason for the reuse of some fragments is assessed as well as the potential for further discoveries. This discussion is followed by a catalogue of the fragments that relies and expands on the descriptions published through Fragmentarium.

Abstract:

U popularizaciji je kulta crne Madone Trsatske odnosno Loretske bila ključna uloga feudalnih gospodara Frankopana. Njezino je štovanje osobiti izraz zadobilo u 17. st. u Elegiji Frana II. Krste Frankopana Tržačkoga, kojega su na naslovnici II. latinsko-talijanskoga izdanja Divoto pianto (Loreto, 1794) priređivači titulirali grofom Trsatskim (Perpetuo Conte di Tersatto), a kako bi se istaknula veza između roda Frankopana i Trsatskoga svetišta. Osobiti je prilog radu potvrda o postojanju sačuvanoga primjerka prvoga izdanja Elegije: Franciscus Christophorus comes de Frangipanibus, Querimoniae piae (Macerata, 1656), koja je dosad bila poznata jedino prema prijepisu i prijevodu tiskanom u 18. stoljeću. Postojanje prvotiska moguće jedina Frankopanova za života tiskanoga djela potvrđeno je 2018. godine u Italiji (Recanati, Biblioteca diocesana p. C. Benedettucci; Perugia, Biblioteca Comunale Augusta).

Abstract:

Il settore delle costruzioni, responsabile degli impatti ambientali come la produzione di rifiuti, l'acqua e il consumo di energia, ha come sfida attuale quella di portare l'efficienza energetica nel cantiere e nell'ambiente post-costruito. Pertanto, in relazione al consumo di energia, INMETRO ha sviluppato un programma di etichettatura volto a classificare l'efficienza energetica delle apparecchiature elettriche e anche degli edifici. Si scopre che gli edifici pubblici sono tenuti a ottenere l'etichetta nazionale di conservazione dell'energia (ENCE). Alla ricerca di quanto sopra, si chiede come misurare l'efficienza energetica degli edifici pubblici, rendendoli energeticamente appropriati, e quindi soddisfare le esigenze dell'utente, fornendo comfort ambientale ed economia. L'obiettivo di questo lavoro era simulare l'ottenimento dell'etichetta ENCE Geral e presentare il livello di efficienza energetica della Biblioteca Comunale di Campo Mourão-PR. È stato utilizzato il Metodo Prescrittivo, stabilito dal Regolamento Tecnico di Qualità per il Livello di Efficienza Energetica degli Edifici Commerciali, di Servizio e Pubblici (RTQ-C). Sono stati analizzati tre sistemi costruttivi: Involucro, Sistema di illuminazione e Sistema di aria condizionata. Di conseguenza, l'edificio in studio ha presentato una classificazione di livello C di efficienza, su una scala A - E, essendo A molto efficiente ed E inefficiente. Si conclude che l'edificio non offre comfort agli utenti, oltre all'elevato consumo energetico. Tuttavia, è possibile adottare misure che possono aiutare a ottimizzare il livello di efficienza energetica in loco.

Abstract:

This paper focuses on the relationship between Alexander von Humboldt, the famous German explorer-naturalist and Filippo Parlatore, botanist from Palermo (Sicily, Italy) in the field of botanical geography. Our considerations are based on three letters written by Humboldt to Parlatore in May 1851 and two letters with attachments written by Parlatore in answer to Humboldt in May 1851 and June 1852. The former are preserved in the Biblioteca comunale di Palermo (Palermo City Library) and the latter in the Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin (Berlin State Library). On reading the correspondence it can be inferred how, on the one hand, Humboldt asked Parlatore for verification on some important questions of botanical geography that he intended to cover in the second part (never published) of volume five of his Kosmos, and how, on the other hand, Parlatore diverged in his answers from Humboldt’s intent to search for universal laws to explain the distribution of plants on the planet. In fact, Parlatore was engaging in new lines of research, which, though stemming from Humboldt, were moving towards a modern twodimensional interpretation of natural plant communities according to which vegetation and flora, though interacting, are distinct realities and require different methods of study. The paper includes a portrait of Parlatore and one of Humboldt, a taxonomic table of the plants mentioned by the two scientists in their correspondence and illustrations of a selection of the same plants.
