A presente pesquisa teve como objetivo investigar, a partir de um estudo de caso com o método Bick de observação, a relação entre um bebê e seus cuidadores em sua residência e na creche em um período de quatro meses. O referencial teórico utilizado foi a psicanálise especificamente fundamentadas nas propostas de estudiosos do desenvolvimento humano como Leibovic, Stern, Spitz, Winnicott e Mahler, que concordam que o vínculo formado entre a mãe e seu filho é essencial para o desenvolvimento psíquico do bebê. O estudo foi realizado a partir do método qualitativo, através de um estudo de caso realizado e analisado através do método Bick de observação de bebês, no ambiente familiar e também adaptado em um ambiente institucional: a creche. Nesta versão do método não se acompanhou o período pós-parto imediato, pois o bebê foi observado também na creche na qual ingressou quando já havia completado 07 (sete) meses. Com relação ao tempo de observação, o método original preconiza a duração de dois anos, porém o tempo de observação foi reduzido para quatro meses. Tal adaptação se faz necessária por tratar-se de uma pesquisa ligada ao Programa de Pós-Graduação em Psicologia da Universidade Federal do Pará, com período de atividades e término pré-estabelecidos e não compatíveis com a proposta de Bick. Os dados coletados foram analisados em categorias as quais se seguem: Clarice e seu desenvolvimento emocional, Os cuidados de Clarice: O lar e creche e Clarice Clarificada. Foi analisado também os sentimentos da observadora durante as observações. A creche se apresentou como um contexto de cuidado complementar aos oferecidos pela família de bebê, preenchendo algumas lacunas, mesmo com a roteirização do trabalho sempre presente. No contexto familiar a mãe se mostrou capaz de cuidar de sua filha, proporcionando-lhe um ambiente de afetividade, apesar de todas as dificuldades que a vida lhe oferecia. Assim no recorte temporal das observações, o bebê se desenvolveu saudavelmente enriquecido pela complexidade de suas relações.
The purpose of this research was to investigate from a case study with Bick observation method the relationship between a baby and her caregivers at home and at care day center over a period of four months. The theoretical used was psychoanalysis specifically based on researchers‟ proposals of human development such as Leibovic, Stern, Spitz, Winnicott and Mahler, who are in agreement that the link between a mother and her child is essential to the baby‟s psychic development. This work used qualitative method through a case study conducted and analyzed by the baby observation method Bick in the familiar environment, as well as adapted in an institutional location: the care day center. In this version of the method, the postpartum period was not observed because the baby started to be observed at the care day center when he was seven months. Speaking of observation time, the original method indicates the duration of two years, but in this work this period was reduced to four months. Such adjustment was necessary since the research is linked to Programa de Pós-Graduação em Psicologia at Universidade Federal do Pará therefore period and conclusion of activities were pre-established and not compatible with Bick‟s proposal. The collected data was analyzed in the following categories: Clarice and her emotional development, The care of Clarice: The home and day care and clarified Clarice. Also, the observer‟s feelings were analyzed during the observation. The care day center performed a caution context which supplemented the one offered by the baby‟s family, filling some gaps even with the presence of work routine. In familiar context, the mother was able to take care of her child, offering her an affective environment despite all the difficulty of her life. During the observations, the baby developed healthily enhanced by the complexity of its relationships.
El presente trabajo tuvo como objetivo investigar, a partir de un estudio de caso con el método de observación Bick, la relación entre un bebé y sus cuidadores en casa y en la guardería, durante un periodo de cuatro meses. La referencia teórica utilizada fue el psicoanálisis, específicamente el fundamentado en las propuestas de estudiosos del desarrollo humano como Leibovic, Stern, Spitz, Winnicott y Mahler, que coinciden en que el vínculo formado entre madre e hijo es esencial para el desarrollo psíquico del bebé. El estudio se llevó a cabo mediante el método cualitativo, con un análisis de caso a través del método Bick de observación de bebés, en el ambiente familiar, así como adaptado en un ambiente institucional: una guardería. En esta versión no se observó el periodo de postparto ya que el bebé ingresó en la guardería con siete meses de vida. Referente al tiempo de observación, el método original propone una duración de dos años, pero en este trabajo el tiempo fue reducido a cuatro meses. Dicha reducción es necesaria por estar este estudio ligado al programa de Pós-Graduação em Psicologia da Universidade Federal do Pará, haciéndolo incompatible con la propuesta temporal original de Bick. Los datos recogidos fueron analizados en las categorías siguientes: Clarice y su desarrollo emocional, Clarice entre el hogar y la guardería, y Clarice clarificada. Fueron analizados también los sentimientos de la observadora durante las observaciones. La guardería se presentó como un contexto de cuidado complementario a los ofrecidos por la familia del bebé, llenando algunas lagunas, incluso con la rutina del trabajo. En el contexto familiar, la madre se mostró capaz de cuidar su hija, proporcionándole un ambiente de afectividad, a pesar de las dificultades de la vida. Durante las observaciones, el bebé se desarrolló saludablemente enriquecido por la complexidad de sus relaciones.

O presente estudo investigou o desenvolvimento emocional durante o primeiro ano de vida de um bebê, em uma família numerosa. Foi realizado um estudo de caso único, de caráter longitudinal, com uma família participante composta pela mãe, pelo pai e seus quatro filhos meninos, de até 4 anos de idade, acompanhada em observações semanais, com uma hora de duração, no período de doze meses. Foi aplicado o Método Bick de Observação da Relação Mãe- Bebê, em seus três momentos: observação, relato e supervisão em grupo. Os resultados foram organizados em três eixos: 1) o bebê e seu ambiente; 2) o desenvolvimento emocional do bebê; e 3) a observadora. Apesar das condições economicamente desfavoráveis do ambiente, foi surpreendente o desenvolvimento emocional do bebê na família, bem como a riqueza do ambiente em termos emocionais. A mãe se mostrou atenta e afetiva no cuidado dos filhos, apresentando uma capacidade inesgotável de discernir e atender às múltiplas demandas dos mesmos, revelando sua preponderante identidade materna. O bebê recebia especial atenção e a mãe costumava relatar suas habilidades e aquisições ao longo do primeiro ano de vida. Alguns aspectos típicos do desenvolvimento de um bebê no primeiro ano de vida foram observados, assim como particularidades relativas ao contexto de uma família numerosa, de baixa renda. No eixo denominado a observadora, foi relatado o impacto emocional causado pelas observações neste contexto particular. Além de auxiliar no entendimento aprofundado das fases iniciais do desenvolvimento, de forma intensiva e detalhada, acredita-se que a aplicação do Método Bick em pesquisa possa colaborar para conhecer a realidade das famílias antes de propor intervenções em contextos diferenciados.The present study investigated the emotional development during the first year of a baby’s life, in a large family. A longitudinal single case study was carried out with a family comprising the mother, the father and their four boys, aged up to four years old. They were weekly observed in one-hour observation sessions during twelve months. The Bick Infant Observation Method was applied, in its three moments: observation, written report and group supervision. The results were organized alongside three axes: 1) the baby and his/her environment; 2) the baby’s emotional development; and 3) the observer. In spite of the unfavorable economic environmental conditions, the baby’s emotional development in the family was surprising, as well as the environment’s emotional richness. The mother was shown to be attentive and affective in caring for the children, showing an endless ability to discriminate and attend to the multiple demands of the children, revealing her predominant identity as mother. The baby received special attention, and the mother used to report his/her abilities and acquisitions during his first year of life. Some typical aspects of infant development during the first year of life were observed, as well as particularities concerning the specific context of a large, low income, family. In the axis named the observer, the emotional impact caused by the observations in this particular context was highlighted. Besides helping to understand more deeply the initial developmental phases, in an intensive and detailed way, it is believed that the application of the Bick method may help to know the families’ reality before proposing interventions in specific contexts.

O presente estudo aplicou o Método Bick, para fins de pesquisa, com o objetivo de desvendar e conhecer a vivência emocional da mulher sobre o parto. Foram realizadas observações sistemáticas em um Centro Obstétrico durante dezenove meses. As observações foram relatadas, supervisionadas e posteriormente analisadas. Os dados apontam o parto como um momento potencialmente desorganizador que, somado à condição regressiva das parturientes, foi capaz de produzir sobrecarga emocional e desencadear um estado de vulnerabilidade psíquica nas mulheres, mas que produziu impacto emocional também no observador e na equipe. Foi constatado o uso de mecanismos defensivos na equipe, que prejudicava a interação profissional-paciente. O Método Bick possibilitou a aproximação da vivência emocional do parto através da disponibilidade psíquica e da postura não-intrusiva do observador. O estudo sugere a necessidade de revisão das práticas relacionadas ao manejo dos aspectos emocionais das parturientes. Implicações clínicas e para a pesquisa também são abordadas.The present study consisted of an application of the Bick method to research aiming to reveal and investigate women's emotional experience of delivery. Observations were carried out in an Obstetric Ward during nineteen months. They were written up, supervised and later analyzed. The results revealed that delivery is a potentially disorganizing moment. Due to women's regressive condition, it may produce emotional overload and trigger a state of psychic vulnerability in women, which had an emotional impact on the observer and the professionals. The use of defensive mechanisms in the professionals was observed which interfered in the professional-patient interaction. The observer's psychic availability and non intrusive position which characterize the Bick method enabled to get in contact with the emotional experience of delivery. The study suggests the need for revising professional practices related to the handling of the emotional aspects of delivery. Both clinical and research implications of the findings are also discussed.

L'« épidémie » d'autisme au Vietnam au milieu des années 2000 a engendré dans les familles panique, souffrance, et même vœux de mort mère- enfant. Dans ce contexte une recherche en psychopathologie de l'enfant s'est imposée. Notre hypothèse des « moments lumineux » propose un nouveau regard sur cette pathologie, regard partagé entre la famille et le thérapeute permettant de soutenir et d'accompagner les membres de la famille, en particulier la dyade mère-enfant PTA, face à l'autisme. Nous avons montré à travers l'analyse longitudinale de trois cas, les variantes par rapport au diagnostic initialement posé, et le devenir des modes d'intervention thérapeutique. Cette double recherche théorico-clinique décrit un modèle thérapeutique innovant sur le terrain, en se basant sur l'observation participante de trois dyades mère-enfant à domicile, inspirée par la démarche de l'observation psychanalytique selon E. Bick et par l'approche culturelle vietnamienne. Elle constitue à la fois une discussion sémiologique et psychopathologique des diagnostics posés sur les enfants retenus pour notre étude, et une évaluation des dispositifs psychothérapeutiques que nous avons mis en place dans notre centre et au sein même des familles. L'évolution des enfants et des familles sont un encouragement à développer au Vietnam des modèles de prise en charge des enfants qui, tout en respectant les traditions familiales de notre pays, trouvent dans l'approche clinique et psychanalytique des appuis théoriques et cliniques qui pourraient s'avérer très utilesThe autism « epidemic» in Vietnam in the middle of the 2000's has generated in families panic, suffering and even death wishes for mother and child. In this context, a research in child psychopathology was a must. Our hypothesis of these « light moments » offers a new look on this pathology, a shared look between the family and the therapist which enables to support and go with the family members, especially the mother and child showing autistic traits dyad, towards autism. We have shown through the longitudinal analysis of three cases, the variants towards the initial diagnosis, and the becoming of the therapeutic intervention forms. This double theoretical and clinical research describes a therapeutic model innovative in the field, based on the participating observation of three mother and child dyads at home, inspired by the psychoanalytic observation approach of E. Bick and by the Vietnamese cultural approach. It sets up not only a semeiological and psychopathological discussion of the diagnosis on children chosen for our study, but also a valuation of psychotherapeutic devices that we have establish in our centers and even in families. The evolution of children and families are an encouragement to develop in Vietnam, types of support for children who, even while respecting our country families' traditions, find in the clinical and psychoanalytical approach some theoretical and clinical bases that might turn out to be very useful

Cela fait une soixantaine d'années que la formation à l'observation directe de bébés selon la méthode E. Bick existe, Il s'agit d'une méthode de formation qui peut par la suite renforcer des aspects de notre pratique, Au départ, cet enseignement était destiné aux futurs psychothérapeutes d'enfants, Par la suite, la méthode a été adoptée par l'Institut de formation de la Société Britannique de Psychanalyse élargissant l'intérêt de cette formation à tous les psychanalystes, Aujourd'hui cette méthode peut représenter un véritable outil de travail, dans une application thérapeutique, pour les professionnels de la petite enfance et plus généralement pour tous les professionnels qui ont affaire à des familles. La formation à l'observation directe de bébé selon la méthode E. Bick est conçue en trois temps d'abord, l'observation régulière et prolongée d'un bébé au sein de sa famille (une heure d'observation par semaine dès la naissance aux deux ans de l'enfant) ; ensuite, l'élaboration d'un compte-rendu objectif et chronologique de ce qui est observé ; enfin, un troisième temps de travail en groupe de supervision permettant l'élaboration d'hypothèses à partir de ce qui a été observé. Lorsque nous avons acquis la capacité d'observer, retenir, décrire et élaborer des hypothèses à partir de nos observations, nous pouvons essayer de comprendre les mécanismes, processus et autres formes du développement psychique qui se mettent en place dans le lien relationnels du bébé avec son environnement, Cette méthode appelle à adopter une posture non-interférente pendant l'observation en préconisant, notamment, une observation poly-sensorielle.

This thesis is a general description of the morphology and syntax of the Biak language. The Biak language belongs to the West New Guinea subgroup of the Austronesian language family and is spoken by around 50,000 to 70,000 speakers in West Papua in the northern part of the Geelvink Bay. The thesis consists of 7 main chapters that cover demographic and ethnographic information of the language, morphology, grammatical categories, basic constituent order, noun compounding and denominalization, relative clauses, and predicate nominal constructions. The main findings of the thesis are: • The Biak language is predominantly a head-initial language. • The Biak language has morphological variation from monomorphemic to polymorphemic with the polymorphemic being the dominant pattern in the language. • Inflectional patterns on verbal and prepositional predicates, demonstratives, and possessive pronouns are divided into two patterns: the consonantal pattern and the vocal pattern. • Biak has alienable and inalienable nouns. Alienability in Biak is a syntactic distinction, not exactly corresponding to the semantic distinction. • The basic constituent order is SVO or AVP. Variations occur with predicate nominal (OV) and internally headed relative clause which uses SOV pattern. • Three types of relative clauses were identified: (i) Post nominal relative clause; (ii) Headless relative clause; and, (iii) Internally headed relative clause. The Biak language allows stacked and nested relative clauses. Two kinds of predicate nominal constructions were identified: (i) copular clitics (clitic –ri, -s-, and free pronoun clitics) and (ii) copular verbs –iri and iso. The two kinds of predicate nominal constructions can be distinguished syntactically.

El presente proyecto del curso de Desarrollo de Negocios 2 de la Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas, consiste en la creación de un soporte de madera para bicicletas que serán elaboradas con tableros OSB que nos asegura una alta resistencia en los soportes. Cabe recalcar, que nos vamos a dirigir a Lima Metropolitana en los distritos de mayor población en el uso de bicicletas y que además cuentan con acceso de ciclovías, tales como Surco, La Molina, San Isidro, San Borja y Miraflores, asimismo nos dirigiremos a los sectores socioeconómicos A y B, con un rango de edad de los 18 hasta los 45 años.
El proyecto es viable, puesto que según la entrevista a profundidad que se realizó, se identificó un gran porcentaje de personas que usan la bicicleta como medio de transporte; parte de ello, la investigación también indica que los usuarios tienen dificultades para guardar sus bicicletas ya que no cuentan con el espacio adecuado en sus hogares.
Por un lado, para la puesta en marcha del proyecto se necesitará una inversión inicial de S/. 51,884 soles, que será financiado al 100% por los accionistas sin necesidad de ser financiado por entidades bancarias. A su vez, tenemos en cuenta que los meses Diciembre, Enero, Marzo y Julio tendremos ventas elevadas que demostrada que el negocio es rentable.
Por otro lado, el área de marketing hará uso de la publicidad digital, para ello se empleará las herramientas web como Facebook, Google Adwords, Landing Page y Community Manager, que nos permita una mejor difusión del producto. La distribución será coordinada directamente con el cliente a través de las redes sociales; también es importante indicar que se contará con distribuidores externos tales como Maestro y Sodimac.The present Project of the Business Development course 2 of the Peruvian University of Applied Sciences, consists in the creation of a wooden support for bicycles that will be made with OSB boards that ensures high resistance in the supports. O presente trabalho consiste em uma pesquisa qualitativa que se propôs a observar e analisar sob o enfoque psicanalítico, o desenvolvimento emocional de um bebê institucionalizado. Para isso realizou-se um estudo de caso, cujo instrumento metodológico consistiu na adaptação do método Bick de Observação de Bebês. As adaptações versam sobre o ambiente que é institucional, à redução do tempo de observação para o período de quatro meses, ao contexto das supervisões que, devido à escassez de pesquisadores que utilizam este método em Belém, restringiu a maioria das supervisões ao par observador e supervisor, sendo que este último exerceu a função paralela de orientador deste estudo. Realizou-se a pesquisa em um abrigo estadual que acolhe crianças de zero a seis anos, onde vivia Miguel, um bebê que foi abandonado por motivo de dificuldades financeiras justificadas pela mãe. Miguel foi observado desde os seus 20 dias de vida até os quatro meses, através de observações semanais, com duração de uma hora, totalizando 20 observações, as quais foram registradas e submetidas às supervisões. Os resultados foram organizados em três capítulos principais: 1) Sobre o desenvolvimento emocional de bebês que remonta ao campo teórico da psicanálise de crianças 2) Sou visto, logo existo que esboça a relação bebê-observadora, com enfoque nos aspectos transferenciais e contratransferenciais que permearam essa relação 3) Colo bom, colo mau que aborda o ambiente de cuidados vivenciados por Miguel no contexto de acolhimento institucional e 4) O colorido afetivo de Miguel que abrange os aspectos marcantes do desenvolvimento emocional de Miguel no abrigo. Ao final desta jornada, Miguel revelou-se um bebê que durante os primeiros meses experimentou ansiedades catastróficas, que demandavam acolhimento e contenção, usava o choro e o olhar para atrair contato, todavia, raras vezes era atendido por motivos diversos inerentes ao contexto de institucionalização; posteriormente mostrou-se mais familiarizado com o ambiente, utilizando recursos como vocalizações e sorrisos para relacionar-se. Apesar da instabilidade e inconstância dos cuidados, Miguel foi interpretado como símbolo do bebê que vencendo obstáculos e enfrentando um mundo ambivalente em sua máxima expressão, revelou que não existe situação ideal para o desenvolvimento emocional.
This study is a qualitative research that aimed to observe and analyze on the psychoanalytic approach, the emotional development of an institutionalized infant. For this there was a case study, which consisted in adapting the methodological tool of the Bick method of Infant Observation. The adaptations relate to the environment that is institutional, reduction of observation time for four months, the context of disclosures that due to shortage of researchers who use this method in Belém, most supervision were restricted to the pair observer and supervisor, and the latter served as advisor for this parallel study. We conducted the research in a state housing that welcomes children from birth to six years, where Miguel lived, a baby who was abandoned due to financial difficulties justified by the mother. Miguel has been observed since their 20 days of life until four months, through weekly observations lasting one hour, totaling 20 observations, which were recorded and subjected to supervision. The results were organized into three main chapters: 1) On the emotional development of babies going back to the theoretical field of child psychoanalysis 2) I am seen, therefore I am outlining the relationship between infant-observer, with a focus on transference and countertransference issues that permeated the ratio 3) Good care, bad care which addresses the care environment experienced by Miguel in the context of residential care and 4) The affective coloring of Miguel covering the important aspects of emotional development of Miguel at the institution. At the end of this journey, Miguel has proven to be a baby during the first month experienced catastrophic anxieties, which required care and restraint, used the cry and look to attract contact, however, was rarely served by various reasons inherent in the context of institutionalization; subsequently proved to be more familiar with the environment, using resources such as smiles and vocalizations to relate. Despite the instability and inconsistency of care, Miguel was interpreted as a symbol of the baby that overcoming obstacles and facing an ambivalent world in its fullest expression, revealed that there is no ideal situation for emotional development.

The aim of this work is to create a functional prototype of a drum machine with sound generating using a microcontroller. Introduction is devoted to general drum machine and an analysis of its parts, principle and basic modes of operation. The following chapter deals with the principle of digital signal processing and sound generation using a microcontroller. Part of this chapter is focused on mixing using compression methods. The core of this work is to design my own block structure and overall scheme of the drum machine with a description of the parts. Followed by analysis and implementation with theoretical and practical point of view. It is mainly about presentation and description of important parts of firmware codes, DPS design and another technical documentation useful for final prototype production. The conclusion contains a summary of the results with prezentation and discussion.

This thesis describes a role of percussion instruments in military brass bands. The first part of the thesis is presents functions and tasks which military music must deal with. The second chapter describes history of military music from ancient ages up to present with special focus on Central Europe region. The third chapter tries to comprehend a role of percussion instruments in the military brass band within its variability. Connections between brass bands and symphonic orchestra and popular music are mentioned. The third chapter is concluded by comparison of two different types of compositions intended for brass band: Austro-Hungarian military march by Julius Fučík and Music for Prague 1968 by Karel Husa are presented as two examples of traditional brass band composition and modern composition of avant-garde 20th century music.

This paper deals with development and construction of an electronic drum module. The purpose of the device is to capture signals from an electronic drumkit and to produce sound accordingly. Firstly, a protoype with no sound output is constructed to demonstrate an ability to capture input signals. Based on its function, parameters for a final device are determined. Then, electronic component selection and design of printed circuit boards is described with an aim to maximalize polyphony and minimize latency of the sound generator. After that, firmware with software mixing algorithm is designed. Lastly, testing and measurement of real device parameters is performed.

The Biconjugate Gradient (BiCG) method is an iterative Krylov subspace method that utilizes a 3-term recurrence. BiCG is the basis of several very popular methods, such as BiCGStab. The short recurrence makes BiCG preferable to other Krylov methods because of decreased memory usage and CPU time. However, BiCG does not satisfy any optimality conditions and it has been shown that for up to n/2-1 iterations, a special choice of the left starting vector can cause BiCG to follow {em any} 3-term recurrence. Despite this apparent sensitivity, BiCG often converges well in practice. This paper seeks to explain why BiCG converges so well, and what conditions can cause BiCG to behave poorly. We use tools such as the singular value decomposition and eigenvalue decomposition to establish bounds on the residuals of BiCG and make links between BiCG and optimal Krylov methods.

El presente artículo ofrece los principales resultados de un trabajo de investigación realizado en el 2014 con el objetivo de describir los procesos de comunicación que incentivan la participación ciudadana de los vecinos del distrito de San Borja en el programa San Borja en Bici . Esta iniciativa municipal constituye el primer programa de préstamo gratuito de bicicletas en el Perú. Se plantea un abordaje exploratorio que busca estudiar la participación ciudadana, a la vez que se profundiza en las prácticas comunicativas que se suscitan al interior del programa. A nivel discursivo, se parte de que los procesos de comunicación que pretenden incentivar la participación vecinal son establecidos con miras de posicionar a San Borja en Bici como una iniciativa para lograr una ciudad sostenible. Así, la bicicleta se concibe como un medio de transporte limpio en la que el vecino es parte del cambio de su ciudad. Sin embargo, fuera de la planificación y del éxito del programa, hay contrariedades en la comunicación que imposibilitan a los vecinos conocer exactamente la propuesta de San Borja en Bici. Por último, se considera al vecino como usuario del servicio y no como un agente del desarrollo sostenible.

In my dissertation I deal with the role of percussion instruments in several most important works of the big Russian composer of the 20th century, Igor Stravinsky. The basis of this work is analyses describing and assessing the role of percussion instruments in these compositions. Each chapter is devoted to one analysed work. The structure of the chapters is unchangeable, an introduction gives some information about the given composition, under which conditions it originated, what the composer's aim was, who commissioned or initiated it, when it was premiered etc. The main part of each chapter is the analysis of the piece focused on technical demands of individual parts of percussion instruments, their playing in unison an combination with other instruments.
Igor Stravinsky's highly complicated musical vocabulary using rapid changes of irregular juxtaposed bars and largely involving percussion instruments made me choose his works. They are, in my opinion, the most important and often performed and, regarding a percussionist, they are considered to be the most challenging for mastering the orchestral playing.
In the appendix to this master's dissertation I present examples of notation tangibly illustrating described difficulties and situations.
I hope this dissertation to be an assed for several reasons:
1) It will become a useful source of information for professional
percussionists as well as for conductors performing Stravinsky's works.
2) It may serve as a source of information for future musicologists or
arrangers.
3) The additional advantage of this work is the fact that it is written by a
practising percussionist since deep knowledge of percussion instruments technique enables to analyse Igor Stravinsky's compositions also with regard to interpretation demands on the player.

Quiescent current leakage test of the VDD supply (IDDQ Test) has been proven an
effective way to screen out defective chips in manufacturing of Integrated Circuits (IC).
As technology advances, the traditional IDDQ test is facing more and more challenges. In
this research, a practical built-in current sensor (BICS) is proposed and the design is
verified by three generations of test chips. The BICS detects the signal by sensing the
voltage drop on supply lines of the circuit under test (CUT). Then the sensor performs
analog-to-digital conversion of the input signal using a stochastic process with scan chain
readout. Self-calibration and digital chopping are used to minimize offset and low
frequency noise and drift. This non-invasive procedure avoids any performance
degradation of the CUT. The measurement results of test chips are presented. The sensor
achieves a high IDDQ resolution with small chip area overhead. This will enable IDDQ of
future technology generations.

The algorithm uses different optimized puncturing patterns for different transmissions of the same data packet. The proposed approach exploits mapping diversity through BICM with iterative decoding. The modulation order is changed in each transmission to keep the number of symbols transmitted constant. We present new bit error rate and frame error rate analytical results for the proposed technique showing good agreement with simulation results. We compare the throughput performance of our proposed HARQ technique with a reference HARQ technique that uses different mapping arrangements but keeps the modulation order fixed. By using optimized puncturing patterns and adaptive modulations, our method provides significantly better throughput performance over the reference HARQ method in the whole signalto- noise ratio (SNR) range, and achieves a gain of 12 dB in the medium SNR region.

This paper introduces recycling BiCG, that recycles the Krylov subspace from one pair of linear systems to the next pair. Augmented bi-Lanczos algorithm and modified two-term recurrence are developed for using the recycle space. Recycle space is built from the approximate invariant subspace corresponding to eigenvalues close to the origin. Recycling approach is extended to the CGS and the BiCGSTAB algorithms. This diploma thesis deals with the growing tendency of composers of Czech artificial music from the 1960s to the present to discover new technical possibilities of percussion instruments and then apply them to the musical process. The work contains several notes about the historical re-evaluation of the percussion instruments in the hands of the composers, and the emancipation of the percussion instruments in the work of Czech composers. The work contains several theoretical and interpretative analyzes, namely the analysis of works by Miloslav Kabeláč, Marek Kopelent and Daniel Chudovský. The aim of the work is to point out the increasing demands for interpretation of contemporary music for percussion instruments, but also the resonant plurality and openness of various composing personalities of the selected time period.

This work is a summary of the information and knowledge about the basics that make up the present tradition of playing percussion instruments in Europe (predominantly Western). Its main purpose is to support the development of percussion instruments in Czech Republic, especially in schools, where the playing level is in the development stage and needs to be supported from other sources. During my Master's study at HAMU (2014-2017), I took part in many of international events in this field, which were focused on the development of young musicians of my generation on musical, technical, mental and aesthetic side. The obtained information by feedbacks and comments from leading teachers and performers in the field is the absolute basis for this work. Awareness of the principles and basics that will be written here requires a presence of certain musical and life experiences, so this work is intended for the age category from the students of secondary vocational schools and above.

Data bits are first encoded by using a non recursive convolutional code and the coded bits after an interleaver are modulated before transmission. Iterative decoding is performed at the receiver. Optimized mapping is designed for MPPM. A genetic algorithm is used to find the optimized mapping for MPPM. Our simulation results show that a significant improvement in the error performance can be achieved by using optimized mapping and iterative decoding at the receiver.

Perceiving the personal private archives while places of memory enables us to delineate the trajectory of an individual's life amid the functions he held or holds throughout his or her life and in the environment he or she has taken part of, along with the persons who live around him or her. In this sense, this piece of research focuses on the still unexplored archive and with no archival organization of the researcher and plastic artist NivalsonFernandes de Miranda, aiming to prospect the social, historical and cultural trajectory of the life of that artist, through his personal private archive by understanding it under the perspective of a writing of self. For this reason, we adopted as methodological fundamentals the qualitative research of the documental type associated with the oral history with regard to the aspect of the theme history and, in some cases, the oral history of life. The survey, carried out in the artist´s archive as well as in the writings about him, enables us to affirm that the plastic artist´s archive is of great importance for society, considering the fact that it encompasses the historic heritage and it narrates through research, drafts and drawings a historical, social and cultural period. The artist still permeates his artistic works with the art of writing, once he is the author of a catalogue about the municipality of Areia and the surrounding towns as well as poems published in a women´s column in a printed newspaper in Paraíba. Therefore, while carrying out interviews with people who were connected with the researcher and examining documental genres that comprise Miranda´s archive, we perceived the importance and diversity that the archive presents, from textual, iconographic, cartographic documents up to the three-dimensional ones in which his artistic works are part of. We conclude, thus, that the plastic artist´s archive provides us the chance to know the life trajectory of its producer as well as it enables unveiling the legacy he left for us.

Nesse sentido, a presente pesquisa debruça-se sobre o acervo ainda inexplorado e sem uma organização arquivística do pesquisador e artista plástico Nivalson Fernandes de Miranda, com o objetivo de prospectar a trajetória sócio-histórica e cultural da vida desse artista, por meio do seu arquivo privado pessoal entendendo-o sob a perspectiva de uma escrita de si. Para tanto, adotamos como pressuposto metodológico a pesquisa qualitativa do tipo documental associada à história oral na vertente da história temática e, em alguns casos, da história oral de vida. A investigação, realizada no acervo do artista e nos escritos sobre ele, nos autoriza a afirmar que o acervo do artista plástico é de grande importância para a sociedade, tendo em vista o fato de abranger o patrimônio histórico e narrar por meio de pesquisas, rascunhos e desenhos um período histórico, social e cultural. O artista ainda permeia seus trabalhos artísticos com a arte da escrita, sendo esse autor de um catálogo sobre a cidade de Areia e as cidades circunvizinhas e de poemas publicados em caderno feminino de um jornal impresso paraibano. De tal modo, ao realizar entrevistas com as pessoas que tinham ligação com o pesquisador e analisando os gêneros documentais que compõem o acervo de Nivalson Miranda, percebemos a importância e diversidade que o acervo apresenta, desde documentos textuais, iconográficos, cartográficos até os tridimensionais em que são inseridos os seus trabalhos artísticos. Concluímos, então, que o acervo do artista plástico promove conhecermos a trajetória de vida do seu produtor, assim como possibilita desbravar o legado que ele nos deixou.

L'obiettivo del lavoro è stato, principalmente, una prima verifica di tenuta strutturale del telaio sotto l'azione dei carichi nelle condizioni di utilizzo più classiche.
In secondo piano, sono stati suggerite anche ottimizzazioni alla struttura.

Multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) wireless technology is an emerging cost- effective approach to offer multiple-fold capacity improvement relative to the conven- tional single-antenna systems. To achieve the capacities of MIMO channels, MIMO bit-interleaved-coded-modulation (BICM) systems with iterative detection and decod- ing (IDD) are studied in this thesis. The research for this dissertation is conducted based on the iterative receivers with convolutional codes and turbo codes. A variety of MIMO detectors, such as a maximum a posteriori probability (MAP) detector, a list sphere detector (LSD) and a parallel interference canceller (PIC) together with a decision statistic combiner (DSC), are studied. The performance of these iterative receivers is investigated via bounding techniques or Monte-Carlos simulations. Moreover, the computational complexities of the components are quantified and compared. The convergence behaviors of the iterative receivers are analyzed via variance trans- fer (VTR) functions and variance exchange graphs (VEGs). The analysis of conver- gence behavior facilitates the finding of components with good matching. For a fast fading channel, we show that the "waterfall region" of an iterative receiver can be predicted by VEG. For a slow fading channel, it is shown that the performance of an iterative receiver is essentially limited by the early interception ratio (ECR) which is obtained via simulations. After the transfer properties of the detectors are unveiled, a detection switching (DSW) methodology is proposed and the switching criterion based on cross entropy (CE) is derived. By employing DSW, the performance of an iterative receiver with a list sphere detector (LSD) of a small list size is considerably improved. It is shown that the iterative receiver achieves a performance very close to that with a maximum a posteriori probability (MAP) detector but with a significantly reduced complexity. For an iterative receiver with more than two components, various iteration sched- ules are explored. The schedules are applied in an iterative receiver with PIC-DSC. It is shown that the iterative receiver with a periodic scheduling outperforms that with the conventional scheduling at the same level of complexity.

The Bico do Papagaio is an area of the State of Tocantins that is configured as a confluence zone with the states of Maranhão and Pará, forming an access channel, through Belém-Brasília, for people, goods and information of the Center-south to the North of the country. According to the Department of Development of the State of Tocantins (SEPLAN-TO), Bico do Papagaio is a political-administrative area composed by 25 municipal districts. The Ministry of the National Integration already understands that the area surpasses the borders of the State of Tocantins, by its North end and also that it goes to the Southwest of Maranhão and the Southeast of Pará. This last division is also assumed by the common sense, for the civil society and for politicians, what is justified historically for the bows built, because of its occupation process and geographical approaches, whose space, material and symbolically contiguous, is characterized by an important functional coherence. In this sense, our objective is to accomplish a study of the regional formation of Bico do Papagaio, considering the socioeconomic relationships that extrapolate the political-administrative limits of the official regionalization. This analysis perspective implicates in considering the functions of the urban and regional net and the population mobility. For so much, it inserts the study of the polarization in this analysis. Although the focus of this study is the regional formation, the established temporary cutting for this approach starts in 1988, year of the territorial division of the State of Goiás.
O Bico do Papagaio é uma região do Estado do Tocantins que se configura como uma zona de confluência com os estados do Maranhão e do Pará, formando um canal de acesso, via Belém-Brasília, para pessoas, mercadorias e informações do Centro-Sul ao Norte do país. Segundo a Secretaria de Desenvolvimento do Estado do Tocantins (SEPLAN-TO), o Bico do Papagaio é uma Microrregião político-administrativa composta por 25 municípios. Já o Ministério da Integração Nacional entende que essa região ultrapassa as fronteiras do Estado do Tocantins, em seu extremo Norte, e vai até o Sudoeste do Maranhão e o Sudeste do Pará. Este último recorte é também assumido pelo senso comum, pela sociedade civil e por políticos, o que se justifica pelos laços historicamente construídos, dado o seu processo de ocupação e as suas aproximações geográficas, cujo espaço, material e simbolicamente contíguos, caracteriza-se por uma importante coerência funcional. Neste sentido, o nosso objetivo é realizar um estudo da formação regional do Bico do Papagaio, considerando as relações sócio-econômicas que extrapolam os limites político-administrativos da regionalização oficial. Essa perspectiva de análise implica em considerar as funções da rede urbana e regional e a mobilidade populacional. Para tanto inserindo o estudo da polarização. Embora o foco desse estudo seja a formação regional, o recorte temporal estabelecido para esta abordagem se dá a partir de 1988, ano da divisão territorial do Estado de Goiás.

The growing demand for high data rates, reliability, network densification, and coverage extension will make relaying one of the key enabling technologies in future wireless cellular and broadband access networks. As the underlying channels in broadband wireless communication experience frequency-selective fading, it is necessary to study new relaying schemes to exploit the inherent diversity offered by
the frequency-selective channels. We adopt the combination of bit-interleaved coded
modulation (BICM) and orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) to combat frequency-selective fading. We propose and analyze several new half-duplex (HD) BICM-OFDM relaying schemes for single- and multi-source communication systems. We derive the asymptotic pairwise error probability (PEP) and show that the proposed schemes can successfully extract full space and frequency diversity offered by the channel. The PEP expressions are exploited to develop guidelines for system design such as sub-carrier allocation, relay selection, relay grouping, relay placement, and power allocation. Although conventional HD relaying schemes, where relays receive and transmit according to a pre-fixed schedule, are simple in operation, their performance can be limited because the best links may not be exploited, in particular, when the
channel changes from one time slot to the next. To circumvent this problem, we present buffer-aided relaying protocols where the relay decides on its transmission and reception based on the instantaneous qualities of the source-relay and relay-destination channels. For both flat-fading and frequency-selective fading links, we
propose link selection protocols for buffer-aided relaying, which can yield a large coding and/or diversity gain advantage over conventional HD relaying for finite and infinite buffer sizes. We assume that the channel state information (CSI) can be outdated when link selection is performed and show that if both the instantaneous signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and the reliability of the CSI estimates are incorporated into the link selection protocols, a lower error rate can be achieved compared to considering the SNR only. We introduce a decision threshold to the link selection
protocols, which can be tuned to ensure buffer stability and trade error rate with

IDDQ testing has been a very useful test screen for CMOS circuits. However, with each technology node the background leakage of chips is rapidly increasing. As a result it is becoming more difficult to distinguish between faulty and fault-free chips using IDDQ testing. Power supply partitioning has been proposed to increase test resolution by partitioning the power supply network, such that each partition has a relatively small defect-free IDDQ level. However, at present no practical partitioning strategy is available. The contribution of this thesis is to present a practical power supply partitioning strategy.
We formulate various versions of the power supply partitioning problem that are likely to be of interest depending on the constraints of the chip design. Solutions to all the variants of the problem are presented. The basic idea behind all solutions is to abstract the power topology of the chip as a flow network. We then use flow techniques to find the min-cut of the transformed network to get solutions to our various problem formulations. Experimental results for benchmark circuits verify the feasibility of our solution methodology. The problem formulations will give complete flexibility to a test engineer to decide which factors cannot be compromised (e.g. area of BICS, test quality, etc) for a particular design and accordingly choose the appropriate problem formulation. The application of this work will be the first step in the placement of Built-In Current Sensors for IDDQ testing.
