Abstract:
Nesse início do século XXI, depois de décadas de lutas e reivindicações dos movimentos sociais: negro e indígena, pressionando o Estado brasileiro por políticas públicas para o pleno exercício da cidadania, foram aprovadas as Leis n. 10. 639/2003 e n. 11.645/2008, que alteraram a Lei de Diretrizes e Bases da Educação Brasileira (LDBEN), Lei n. 9.394/1996, definindo a obrigatoriedade do estudo da História e cultura africana, afro-brasileira e indígena nas instituições de ensino e incluindo a data “20 de novembro - Dia Nacional da Consciência Negra” no calendário escolar. No contexto histórico da pandemia de COVID-19, o livro Ensino de História, diversidade e Educação antirracista, lançado em 2020, pela editora Brazil Publishing, reuniu pesquisadoras e pesquisadores de diferentes Instituições de Educação Superior e da Educação Básica, que repensaram o ensino de História na perspectiva antirracista e decolonial, questionando o paradigma ocidental e eurocêntrico. Com base nas epistemologias do Sul, valorizando a diversidade de povos, culturas e saberes, e as lutas políticas e sociais de grupos oprimidos e/ou movimentos sociais, elas e eles buscaram combater o epistemicídio no currículo escolar, versando em seus escritos sobre: o ensino de História antirracista e decolonial; os povos indígenas e negro na História do Brasil; as Equipes Multidisciplinares nas escolas públicas estaduais do Paraná; o surgimento e o ativismo do movimento social Black Lives Matter ou “Vidas Negras Importam”; a branquitude e os professores negros; temáticas negras e a produção intelectual negra no Brasil pós-abolição; as mulheres, as mulheres negras e latino-americanas, o diálogo interseccional gênero, raça e classe; a Educação patrimonial, a Arte e a História e cultura afro-brasileira; a criança negra no Paraná provincial; a afrobetização; as relações étnico-raciais no processo de adoção; a diversidade religiosa e os orixás na escola, com Exú abrindo os caminhos; o colonialismo, o racismo e a narrativa diaspórica haitiana no Brasil.
