A method for simulating a turbulent binary fluid flow system based on the Lattice Boltzmann Method (LBM) is presented. The fluid equations up to the Navier-Stokes transport level are derived for this two fluid system, and results from numerical simulations using this method are shown. The LBP is proposed as a unifying texture model that describes the formation of a texture with micro-textons and their statistical placement rules. The classical Fourier transform is, in essence, a way to take data and extract components (in the form of complex exponentials) which are invariant under cyclic shifts. We consider a case in which the components must instead be invariant under automorphisms of a binary tree. We present a technique by which a slightly relaxed form of the generalized Fourier transform in this case can eventually be computed using only simple tools from linear algebra, which has possible advantages in computational efficiency.

Abstract:
Abstract The subject of the thesis was to analyze by an engineering approach the global CO₂ balance and CO₂ utilisation. The aim was to apply methods and knowledge used in engineering sciences to describe the global CO₂ balance and the role of CO₂ in anthropogenic utilisation applications. Moreover barriers restricting commercialisation of new applications are discussed. These subjects were studied by literature reviews and calculations based on thermodynamics models. Engineering methods have shown to be applicable to describe the global balance of CO₂ and to define by a numerical way the Eart

Abstract:
This research pursues the use of powerful BDD-based functional circuit analysis to evaluate some approaches to test set generation. Functional representations of the circuit allow the measurement of information about faults that is not directly available through circuit simulation methods, such as probability of random detection and test-space overlap between faults. I have created a software tool that performs experiments to make such measurements and augments existing test generation strategies with this new information. Using this tool, I explored the relationship of fault model difficul
