The results of multiyear studies of biogenic element concentrations in the Barguzin River mouth and the Barguzin Bay are presented. The key role of the water outflow dynamics in seasonal and interannual changes in concentrations of biogenic elements and organic carbon in the river and their inflow to the bay is confirmed. The spatial distribution of biogenic element concentrations in the bay depends on seasonal hydrological and geophysical conditions and on the activity of phytoplankton development. Abstract:
The uptake of biogenic elements by spring barley (Hordeum vulgare L.) is significantly influenced by soil moisture, particularly in the arid conditions of Southern Ukraine. Water availability plays a critical role in the solubility of nutrients, their mobility, and the efficiency of root system uptake. Insufficient moisture reduces nutrient availability, disrupts metabolic processes, and negatively affects plant growth and productivity. Understanding the complex relationship between soil moisture content and nutrient uptake is essential for optimizing agronomic practices and improving crop yie

Abstract:
Vistula Lagoon is the second largest lagoon in the Baltic Sea with maximum depth 5.2 m and average depth 2.7 m. Water volume and area are 2.3 km3 and 838 km2. Lagoon is connected with the Baltic Sea by single inlet 400 m wide and 10-12 m deep. Sediment budget estimation were made using literature sources, results of field measurements (hydrology, suspended sediment content, upper layer sediment structure, direct measurements of sedimentation in summer and winter conditions). The budget for terrigene and biogenic components of sediments were made, considering their contributions from the rivers

Abstract:
Lake Arakhley is located within the Lake Baikal basin in Eastern Siberia, Russia. The area is characterized by continental subarctic climate with considerate diurnal temperature range, long cold dry winters and short hot summers with more precipitation occurring during the latter half of the summer. Climatic shifts in high water years and low water years result in morphometric changes in the lake and in the chemical and physical parameters of the ecosystem. During low water years, concentrations of ammonium nitrogen and nitrite nitrogen are decreased, whereas nitrate concentration increases. H
