The insect fauna of Mongolia includes about 12,000 species belonging to 24 orders. The only order, Orthoptera, is richer in species in Mongolia than in the Far East of Russia. All other units show greater diversity in the Russian Far East than in Mongolia. There are a significant number of very interesting endemics. Tizanuras of the family Machilidae are relic insects, represented by five species in Mongolia. Abstract:
The cotton bollworm is one of the most important polyphagous pests of agricultural crops with a wide range and food connections. The increase in the number of the pest, the development of additional facultative generations, the expansion of its range to the north to the forest-steppe zone of Russia, as well as the rise to the Caucasus mountains, occurring in the current period, is due to climate warming and a number of agro-ecological reasons. Measures are proposed to regulate the number of pests, aimed at preserving the biotic and floristic diversity of agricultural landscapes.

The fauna of fungus gnats of larch forests of the Tyva Republic is 243 species from 40 genera of 3 families. A unique feature of the fauna is the significant role of representatives of the genus Mycomya, which rank second in diversity after the genus Mycetophila. Comparison of the taxonomic structure of the fauna of the larch forests of Tuva shows the greatest similarity with the fauna of fungus gnats of the dark coniferous taiga of the Kuznetsk Alatau.

Genotypic diversity of snails Succinea putris L. (Linnaeus, 1758) collected in the north-west of Russia and in the Republic of Belarus was analysed. Homology between the nucleotide sequences of snails from different population made up 100% by the nucleotide sequence of ITS1-5.8S-ITS2 region of rDNA. Genetic variability based on mitochondrial markers was insignificant. Average genetic distances between samples made up 0,009 for СOI gene loci and 0.008 for CytB gene loci. Investigations of fauna of cephalobid nematodes from field agrocenosis were carried from the territory of the Central-European part of Russia in 2016–2018. In total ten genera of the family Cephalobidae were found. Nematodes of genus Acrolobus (A. emarginatus) has been reported in Russia for the first time.
