In the Khotanese Sudhana story it is related that Sudhana will come upon a rākṣasī and must slay her with his sword. The Khotanese text reads at this point kāḍara jse vara ṣṭau raysga vīra jsanauña (Ch 00266.178–9 KBT 28) = kāḍąrinai vara ṣṭāṃ raysgi vī jsanñä (P 2957.118 KBT 37), which Sir Harold Bailey rendered “There he must promptly slay her with his sword” (BSOAS XXIX, no. 3, 1966, 512). MS. P. 4089a presents a variant reading for this line: kāḍara-birre raysaga vīra jsanauña (P 4089a.2–3 KBT 20). In his Dict. p. 287 Bailey renders it “with cut of sword, she must swiftly be slain”. In birre he sees a word attested only here and meaning “with cut”.

Abstract:
AbstractBiaros in Padanglawas area have many sculpter related with Siwa God. It is shows much relief about some man or giant in different pose or in dancing poses, such as Biaro Bahal I, Biaro Tandihat I, and Biaro Pulo. A pose about traditional dance and related with Siwa as destructor, and in this present shows that dance related with some traditional dance from Papak tribe in North Sumatera. There also some evindence such as triśula, Siva Tandava pose, and story from Thilai Vanam, Nandi and Ganeśa relief showed that reliefs from some biaro are related with Siwa as Hinduism God. In order to understand Padanglawas Biaras religion background, the inductive-deductive analogy from various archaeological data might be used. The result that realize including to several dancing pose, and figuratives relief at Biara Tandihat 1 showed it is similarities to the stories about Lord Siva dance and it is cult at several place.AbstrakBiaro-Biaro di Padanglawas mempunyai banyak temuan kearcaan yang berhubungan Dewa Siwa. Itu semua memperlihatkan relief tentang orang atau raksasa dalam berbagai pose seperti di Biaro Bahal I, Biaro Tandihat I, dan Biaro Pulo. Pose yang berhubungan dengan tari tradisional dan sesuai dengan Siwa sebagai penghancur, pada saat ini ada persamaan dengan tari tradisional dari suku bangsa Pakpak di Sumatera Utara. Juga ditemukan beberapa bukti seperti triśula, beberapa pose dari Siwa Tandawa, cerita tentang Hutan Thilai, Nandi dan Ganesa, kesemuanya berhubungan dengan Dewa Siwa sebagai Dewa Agama Hindu. Untuk memahami latar belakang keagamaan di Biaro-Biaro Padanglawas, maka digunakan penalaran induktif-deduktif dari berbagai data arkeologis. Hasil yang dicapai meliputi beberapa pose tari dan relief tokoh yang ada di Biaro Tandihat I memperlihatkan kesamaan dengan cerita tarian Dewa Siwa di beberapa tempat dan adanya pengkultusan kepada Dewa Siwa.

Abstract:
The bismuth rhodate BiRhO 3, which crystallizes in a perovskite structure, was synthesized under high-pressure and high-temperature conditions, using a 6–8 double stage multi-anvil apparatus. The synchrotron powder X-ray diffraction data suggest that the crystal structure of the BiRhO 3 perovskite is stable under pressures up to 34 GPa at room temperature with anisotropic compressibility. The equation of state for BiRhO 3 compound was obtained. The results offer opportunities for further research into the BiRhO 3 quantum compound with strong spin orbital coupling.

Biro perjalanan haji dan umrah adalah suatu bentuk perusahaan jasa yang bertujuan untuk membantu calon jama’ah dalam melaksanakan ibadah haji dan umrah. Dalam prosesnya, perusahaan biro perjalanan haji dan umrah akan memberikan penawaran berupa paket perjalanan ibadah haji maupun umrah yang dapat dipilih sendiri oleh calon jama’ah. Banyaknya biro perjalanan haji dan umrah di Yogyakarta menuntut keselektifan calon jama’ah dalam memilih biro perjalanan haji dan umrah yang akan digunakan, agar terhindar dari biro jasa yang tidak profesional yang dapat menimbulkan kerugian bagi calon jama’ah di kemudian hari, seperti penipuan, jama’ah haji ilegal maupun sarana dan prasarana yang tidak layak selama melaksanakan ibadah haji dan umrah. Namun untuk mensurvei satu persatu biro jasa perjalanan haji dan umrah yang ada di Yogyakarta membutuhkan waktu dan tenaga yang tidak sedikit, hal inilah yang menyebabkan kecenderungan calon jama’ah malas untuk melakukannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun sebuah sistem yang dapat memberikan rekomendasi bagi calon jama’ah dalam memilih biro perjalanan haji dan umrah di Yogyakarta secara online. Sistem ini dirancang berbasis web menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan MySql sebagai database engine dengan Simple Additive Weighting sebagai metode untuk mencari alternatif terbaik bedasarkan kriteria- kriteria yang telah ditentukan. Sistem pendukung keputusan ini memiliki tiga hak akses yang berbeda yaitu admin, biro haji dan calon jama’ah haji dan dapat diakses secara online. Admin memiliki hak untuk mengelola seluruh data yaitu data profil biro, data peket perjalanan, data kriteria, data subkriteria dan data rating kecocokan. Biro haji memiliki hak mengelola datanya sendiri dengan cara login dahulu. Calon jama’ah memilki hak melakukan perekomendasian dan melihat informasi profil biro yang sudah terdaftar dalam sistem. Sistem ini telah berjalan dengan baik, antara lain dapat membantu calon jama’ah dalam memilih biro jasa perjalanan haji dan umrah yang akan digunakan secara lebih efektif dan efisien, serta dapat menjadi media promosi bagi perusahaan biro jasa perjalanan haji dan umrah.

Titel: Mellan kattskit och mordhot - En kvalitativ studie om mediedrevet kring Marcus Birro Författare: Elin Björkman och Matilda Vejlo Handledare: Anna Edin Nyckelord: Marcus Birro, Twitter, mediedrev, skandal, islam Syftet med studien var att undersöka hur pressen har skildrat händelserna kring Marcus Birro, samt att analysera hur han själv hanterat mediedrevet på sin privata Facebooksida. Studien har sina teoretiska utgångspunkter i medielogiken, medieskandaler och försvarsteorin apologia. Även mediedrev beskrivs som ett kompletterande och förklarande fenomen. Studiens metodologiska utgångspunkter är en kvalitativ textanalys som behandlar valda artiklar från pressen, samt en retorisk analys av utvalda inlägg från Birros Facebook. Resultatet av studien påvisar ett tydligt mediedrev mot Birro med negativ utgång. Ur studien framgår det även att Birro använt sig av retoriska strategier under sitt försvar och studien visar även tydliga indikationer som att han har intagit en försvars- och offerroll.

Abstract:
Autofiktion är ett omdiskuterat genrebegrepp som fått ökad aktualitet i Sverige under de senaste decennierna genom en rad verk som positionerat sig på gränsen mellan verklighet och fiktion. Med denna uppsats vill jag lyfta fram tre av dessa verk, nämligen Karl Ove Knausgårds Min kamp (2009), Stig Larssons När det känns att det håller på ta slut (2012) och Marcus Birros Släng alla kartor (2012). Syftet är att undersöka texternas litterära tekniker och romantiska idéinnehåll för att urskilja en autofiktionens estetik. Det jag kommer fram till genom mina analyser är att texterna ger uttryck för en antilitterär estetik som styr läsaren mot en självbiografisk läsning. Detta åstadkommer författarna dels genom det självbiografiska anslaget och den strikta subjektiviteten, dels genom inslag av metareflektion och självkritik från berättarjagen som uppenbarar texten som en fortlöpande arbetsprocess. Författarna kringgår litterära konventioner genom ett öppet och tentativt skrivande som inte eftersträvar det formfulländade. De förhåller sig till det låga på ett skrivtekniskt plan genom inslag av talspråklighet och genom att ge illusionen av en konstlös komposition. Även innehållsligt får det låga utrymme i form av berättarjagens bekännelser vad gäller deras destruktiva karaktärsdrag eller tveksamma moraliska handlingar. Berättarjagens destruktiva läggning och deras tendens att framhålla konsten som överordnad livet visar på det romantiska arv som går att spåra i texternas idéinnehåll. I texterna framställs berättarjagen som begåvade men motarbetade outsiders, som bara kan närma sig livet genom att skriva det.

DARBO SANTRAUKA Šio darbo tikslas buvo – parengti baldus gaminančios UAB „Gurda“ korpusinių biuro baldų marketingo strategiją. Strategija parangta vienai įmonės gaminamos produkcijos linijai – korpusiniams biuro baldams, kadangi šio sektoriaus pelningumas yra pats žemiausias. Teorinėje dalyje yra aptarta marketngo strategijų rūšys ir detalizuota marketingo strategijos rengimo technologija. Analitinėje dalyje apžvelgėme korpusinių biuro baldų rinką Lietuvoje ir įvertinome UAB „Gurda“ situaciją. Tam buvo pasitelkta rinkos, mikro ir makro aplinkos analizės. Taip pat siekiant išsiaiškinti silpnasias ir stipriasias puses, buvo pasitelta SWOT analizė. Visos rengiamos marketingo strategijos yra skirtos įmonės marketingo tikslams pasiekti. Pagrindiniai iš jų yra per ateinančius metus padidinti apyvartą iki 14 mln. litų ir pasiekti 1mln. litų pelną. Kaip žinome, marketingo strategijos yra skirstomos į konkuravimo, rinkos aprėpimo, pozicionavimo ir marketingo komplekso strategijas. Visos šios keturios strategijų grupės skirtos bendram tikslui pasiekti – padidinti įmonės vertę, tačiau kiekviena strategija analizuoja skirtingas konkuravimo rinkoje taktikas, sąlygojamas skirtingų marketingo aspektų. Siekdami sukurti visapusišką marketingo planą, paruošėme strategines alternatyvas remdamiesi visomis minėtomis strategijų grupėmis. Darbą sudaro 76 puslapiai, 21 lentelė ir 14 paveikslų. Išvados pateiktos darbo gale.
S U M M A R Y The purpose of this paper was to make the marketing strategy of the office furniture of JSC „Gurda“ in Lithuanian market. The strategy was created to the one line of the firm‘s production – case office furniture, because the profitability of this sector is the lowest between all firm‘s business lines. In the theoretical part of this paper was described all the types of marketing strategies and the technology of the marketing strategy creation was analyzed in detail. In the analytical part of this paper it was analyzed case office furniture market in Lithuania. After that it was evaluated the situation of JSC „Gurda“ in that market. It was used the analysis of the market, micro and macro environment. Also it was invoked the SWOT analysis to know the weak and strong sides of the firm. All the marketing strategies are used to reach the marketing purposes of the company. The main purposes of JSC „Gurda“determined in this paper are to increase the circulation of the firm till 14 mill. Litas and to reach 1 mill. Litas profit next year. In order that the universal marketing plan of JSC „Gurda“ case office furniture would be created, it was made one strategy of every main marketing strategies groups: competitive strategy, market targeting, positioning and marketing complex strategy. There are 76 pages, 21 table and 14 pictures in this project. Conclusions are introduced at the end of the thesis.

Baigiamojo magistro darbo tyrimo objektas – investicijos į Vilniaus biurų rinką. Pagrindinis darbo tikslas yra atlikti investicijų į Vilniaus biuro paskirties nekilnojamąjį turtą tyrimą. Baigiamąjį magistro darbą sudaro trys pagrindiniai skyriai. Pirmame skyriuje analizuojama įvairi literatūra ir moksliniai straipsniai apie biuro paskirties nekilnojamąjį turtą, investicijas į nekilnojamąjį turtą ir biurus, biurų plėtros tendencijas, Vilniaus investicinį potencialą ir biurų rinkos analizę. Antrame skyriuje atliekamas Vilniaus ir Amsterdamo biurų rinkos palyginimas. Trečiame skyriuje atliekama investicijų į Vilniaus biuro paskirties nekilnojamąjį turtą PĮSETA analizė. Darbo pabaigoje padaromos darbą apibendrinančios išvados ir pateikiami pasiūlymai. Gauti rezultatai parodė, kad Vilniaus biurų rinka neišnaudoja savo potencialo ir dabartinė plėtra yra tikslinga. Darbo apimtis yra 70 psl. be priedų, 20 paveikslų, 6 lentelės, 85 bibliografiniai šaltiniai ir 1 priedas.
Object of the final master thesis is investments in the office market of Vilnius. The aim of work is to make a study of investments in the office real estate of Vilnius. The master thesis consists of three main chapters. Different literature and scientific articles about the office real estate, investments in real estate and offices, development tendencies of offices, investment potential of Vilnius and office market analysys are analyzed in the first chapter. Office market comparison of Vilnius and Amsterdam is fulfiled in the second chapter. PESTEL analysis of investments in the office real estate of Vilnius is done in the third chapter. Conclusions and proposals that summarize the work are made in the end. The results showed that potential of office market of Vilnius is not used and current development is expedient. Scope of the work is 70 pages without appendices, 20 figures, 6 tables, 85 sources of literature and 1 appendix.

L'elaborato proposto vuole affrontare ed evidenziare le varie sfaccettature della bevanda nota come birra con un'inclinazione biochimica ed enzimatica. Nel primo dei quattro capitoli presenti nella tesi ho analizzato l'evoluzione di tale bevanda sin dai popoli sumeri ed egizi cercando di capire le radici e le funzioni sociali della birra. Successivamente ho dedicato una sezione alle materie prime per comprendere al meglio la composizione e il ruolo di ogni ingrediente nel prodotto finale. Infine le ultime due parti della tesi sono strettamente correlate e rappresentano il cuore dell'elaborato; infatti, in questi capitoli ho definito ed evidenziato le caratteristiche principali degli enzimi valorizzando l'area dell' attività enzimatica al fine di gettare le basi di una migliore comprensione del processo di produzione; processo di produzione definito e trattato con estrema specificità, approfondendo il ruolo e l'impatto degli enzimi idrolitici presenti naturalmente, in ogni fase del processo.

Abstract:
The following work has the objective of searching for the continuity of the practice and production of the bobbin lace in Santa Catarina state, setting out its insertion into the fashion full scope once these two semiotic fields, due to their differences, are rarely correlated. In order to do that, we collected information about acts and projects which promote the practice and production of the bobbin lace; verify the possible ways and the necessary procedures for the insertion of this product into the fashion scope; develop an alternative source of consulting that can become a reference for fashion researchers and professionals that wish to acknowledge this artwork and apply it to their projects. This research also presents a necessary recontextualization of the bobbin lace for the purpose of renewing its tradition, and promote the endurance and identity of this handicraft activity which is being menace to disappear as a cultural manifestation of the coastal area of Santa Catarina state. Based on the bibliographic and field research, we organized a brief history line about the bobbin lace, described its production process and point out a possible solution to make this artwork come to life again, in fashion.

Este trabalho tem como objetivo buscar a continuidade da prática da produção da renda de bilro em Santa Catarina, equacionando a sua inserção no ambiente da moda no vestuário, uma vez que estes dois campos semióticos, por se apresentarem como distintos, raramente estão juntos. Para isso, buscamos coletar informações sobre ações e projetos que promovam a prática da produção da renda de bilro; verificar quais as formas possíveis e os procedimentos necessários à inserção deste produto no âmbito da moda; desenvolver fonte alternativa de consulta, que poderá ser referência para pesquisadores e profissionais da moda que desejem conhecer essa arte para aplicá-la em seus trabalhos. Esta pesquisa apresenta também uma necessária recontextualização da renda de bilro, com o fim de reavivar sua tradição e promover a permanência e a identidade dessa atividade artesanal, que está prestes a desaparecer da cultura litorânea catarinense. A partir de pesquisas bibliográficas e de campo, montamos um breve histórico sobre a renda de bilro, descrevemos seu processo de produção e apontamos uma solução possível para fazer com que essa arte reviva, agora, na moda.

A partir da compreensão da renda de bilros enquanto uma prática que configura objetos, pessoas, relações e subjetividades próprias, essa tese busca destacar a importância e a participação dos gestos e engajamentos técnicos em tais processos de construção. A descrição de diferentes dimensões relacionadas à elaboração de uma renda e à formação das rendeiras, por meio das respectivas ações e sequências operativas, visa dar ênfase aos processos, ao invés dos produtos já finalizados. O trocar e o bater dos bilros nos ensinam não apenas sobre as rendas e rendeiras de Canaan (Trairi – CE), mas iluminam aspectos vinculados às suas escolhas produtivas e às transformações que podem – ou não – incorporar.
This thesis departures from the understanding of bobbin lace as a practice that configures objects, people, relations and subjectivities. It aims to detach the importance and the participation of gestures and technique engagements in these processes. The description of different dimensions related to making a lace and forming a lace-maker, from the respective actions and operative sequences, seeks to emphasize the processes instead of the final products. The changing and hitting of the bobbins teaches us not only about lace and the lace-makers of Canaan (Trairi – CE, Brazil), but illuminates aspects that are related to their productive choice and the transformations they can – or cannot – incorporate into their production.

Abstract:
Fernando Birri (1925-2017) was a puppeteer, writer, artist, director, cinema theorist and teacher. The intellectual from Santa Fe has made syncretism and eclecticism the trademarks of his art. After completing his studies in Italy in 1956, he went back to his birthplace Santa Fe where he founded the Instituto de Cinematografía, the first cinema academy of the country. With his work and academic activity Birri redefined the function of Cinema, transforming it into an educational instrument for the creation of a Latin-American social self-awareness. Birri has revolutionised South-American Cinema, to the extent that he has been named ‘Padre del Nuevo Cine Latinoamericano’ (Father of the new Latin-American Cinema). This paper does not claim to be an exhaustive analysis of Birri’s work. It aims instead to offer an entry point to awake the interest about the first part of his production, in order to screw up some point for a future investigation.

Abstract:
The aim of this chapter is to investigate the short and long-run impact of devaluation of the trade balance of Ethiopia. Devaluation has been used as a measure to improve trade balance. The data was collected from the World Bank for the years 1990 to 2017 and analyzed by applying an Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) approach and an Error Correction Model (ECM). The empirical findings show that the long run Real Effective Exchange Rate (REER) significantly and negatively correlated with the trade balance. The error correction coefficient which shows the adjustment of disequilibrium in the subsequent year is also significant. The empirical result indicated that devaluation of the Birr can improve the trade balance of Ethiopia. However, in reality, the trade balance of Ethiopia is not improved through a consecutive Birr devaluation. This may be resulted from the non-responsiveness of import to devaluation of the Birr, shortage of import substitute domestic products and the dependency of exports on primary agriculture products.

Pastato mikroklimatui bei šiluminiam režimui didelę įtaką daro vidiniai (nuo patalpoje dirbančių žmonių, naudojamos įrangos, dirbtinio apšvietimo) ir išoriniai (nuo saulės spinduliuotės pro langus) šilumos pritekiai. Projektuojant pastatus iškyla tam tikrų problemų numatant jų energijos poreikį. Vidiniai pritekiai dažniausiai nustatomi tik apytiksliai, naudojant normose pateiktus dydžius, tačiau jie gali smarkiai skirtis nuo susidarančių jau eksploatuojamame pastate. Artėjant laikui, kuomet pastatai turės būti beveik nulinės energijos, vidinių šilumos pritekių įtaka pastato šilumos balansui didėja. Tokiems pastatams būdingas aukšto lygio sandarumas ir visiška atskirtis nuo aplinkos, todėl svarbu nustatyti pastato viduje vykstančių procesų įtaką. Dideliais vidiniais šilumos pritekiais pasižymi informacinių technologijų (IT) personalo biurai, dėl juose gausiai naudojamos kompiuterinės įrangos, intensyvaus apšvietimo bei darbuotojų gausos. Todėl šiame darbe pasirinktas tyrimo objektas yra IT personalo biuras. Jo šilumos pritekiai nustatomi eksperimentiniu būdu. Lyginant su pateikiamais LST EN ISO 13779 normose dydžiais vidiniai šilumos pritekiai nustatyti eksperimentiniu būdu yra 47 % didesni.

Abstract:
Continuously increasing hot gas temperatures in heavy duty gas turbines lead to increased thermal loadings of the hot gas path materials. Thermal barrier coatings are used to reduce the superalloys temperature and cooling air needs. Until now 6–8 wt% yttria stabilized zirconia is the first choice material for such coatings, but it is slowly reaching its maximum temperature capability due to the phase transformation at high temperature and sintering. New thermal barrier coating material with increased temperature capability enable the next generation of gas turbine with >60% combined cycle efficiency. Such material solutions have been developed through a multi-stage selection process. In a first steps, critical material performance requirements for thermal barrier coating performance have been defined based on the understanding of standard TBC degradation mechanisms. Based on these requirements, more than 30 materials were a pre-selected and evaluated as potential coating materials. After carefully reviewing their properties both from literature data and laboratory test results on raw materials, five materials were selected for coating manufacturing and laboratory testing. Based on the coating manufacturing trials and laboratory test results, two materials have been selected for engine testing, in a first step in GT26 Birr Test Power Plant and afterwards in customer engines. For such tests the original coating thickness has been increased such to achieve coating surface temperature ∼100K higher than with a standard thermal barrier coating. Both coatings performed as predicted in both GT26 Birr Test Power Plant and customer engines.
