Abstract:
Latar Belakang: Tanaman bisbul (Diospyros discolor Willd) merupakan tanaman yang tumbuh pada iklim tropis. Daun bisbul memiliki aktivitas antiinflasmasi berdasarkan pada kandungan fitokimia. Kandungan fitokimia daun bisbul antara lain alkaloid, flavonoid, saponin, tanin dan steroid. Inflamasi merupakan suatu respons protektif normal terhadap luka jaringan yang disebabkan oleh trauma fisik, zat kimia perusak atau zat-zat mikrobiologi.
