Full textIn this work electronic structure of the valence band and optical properties of the semiconducting BiSI and BiSeI crystals are investigated in the energy range 0 – 25 eV. Calculations were made with ab initio based on the density-functional theory (DFT) with program Wien2k. The full potential linearized augmented plane wave (FP-LAPW) method was used with the generalized gradient approximation (GGA).Dielectric functions imaginary and real parts of BiSI and BiSeI crystals agree satisfactory with corresponding experimental dependences obtained by spectroscopic ellipsometry technique in the spectral range of 1 – 5.5 eV. Experimentally investigated imaginary and real parts spectra have been described by contribution of four Lorentz – type lines in the model of pseudo-dielectric function (PDF).

Full textModern Systems on Chip usually include large embedded memories. These memories occupy the largest part of the circuit (up to 80% of the total circuit area). Furthermore, memories are more dense than logic and thus, more prone to faults. Therefore, the quality of the memory is crucial for the overall quality of the chip. On the other hand, the reduction of the development cost passes from the reduction of the test cost. Finally, the management of the test complexity of the increasingly complex structures cannot be made with an effective manner without the provision and integration of the advanced test techniques. In the first part of the present thesis, we try to answer to test quality requirement by presenting various memory Built In Self-Test (BIST) solutions that cover all the tests required for memory: characterization test, production test, field test and defects analysis test. The proposed solutions allow handling the limitations of the existing memory BIST techniques, such as the selection of the best trade-off between fault coverage/area overhead and the guarantee of the at-speed testing. We developed also a CBISR (Column Built In Self Repair) technique that allows a significant yield improvement and a prolonged product life in particular for large memories. The second part of this thesis addresses the problem of the automation of the BIST/BISR solutions generation. This is done by designing and implementing a synthesis tool for memories BIST/BISR. This tool innovates at the same time by its implementation approach and the offered features. In order to allow an effective implementation, it uses an original approach of BIST synthesis of the memory tests. This approach is based on the concept of disturbance by report to a median axis represented by the March tests. Except some electric tests, this synthesis approach allows to synthesize any memory test algorithm. Furthermore, by supporting the disturbances of these algorithms, this approach is flexible enough to allow supporting the synthesis of new test algorithms that could be introduced in the future. It offers finally, a mechanism to explore the solutions space by taking into account various optimization strategies in order to deliver optimal architecture, with respect to area cost, the operation frequency, the fault coverage and the repair efficiency

Full textA presente dissertação objetivou investigar como a escritora Ana Maria Machado (1941) aborda questões relacionadas ao feminino por meio de sua literatura. Para tanto, tomou-se como corpus para esta pesquisa a obra Bisa Bia, Bisa Bel, publicada pela primeira vez em 1982. A partir dela, buscou-se evidenciar a representação cultural do feminino, em dado momento histórico e, consequentemente, as nuanças transformadoras da mulher, vincada em uma sociedade androcêntrica. Em nível temático, essa narrativa desnuda sinais da altivez de figuras femininas que romperam com as convenções impostas pela sociedade patriarcalista. Possibilitando e estabelecendo um diálogo entre três gerações de mulheres Bisa Bia, Isabel e Neta Beta , o universo ficcional dessa literatura infanto-juvenil apresenta-se como campo fértil para questionamentos acerca da realidade patriarcal. Tendo-se isso em vista, buscou-se como arcabouço teórico, para fundamentar esta análise, os ensinamentos de Pierre Bourdieu, de Michelle Perrot, de Simone de Beauvoir, de Mikhail Bakhtin, de Antonio Candido, dentre outros.

Full textChiral polymers are used in many applications such as stationary phases for chiral HPLC and catalysts in asymetric synthesis. The synthesis of chiral polymers traditionally deals with metal catalysts-based methodologies and often involved sensitive substrates. On the other hand, only a limited number of publications has been reported through environmentally-friendly organocatalytic pathways.The goal of this Ph.D. studies was devoted to the design of new routes toward chiral polymers under organocatalysis. We chose polyaldolisations and anhydride desymmetrizations with alcohols as key reactions to obtain original polymers with a C-centered chirality in the main polymer chain
