Meanwhile, 27,27% participants give perception about their leaer having selling style. Abstract:
The objectives of thiswork was to study the difference on the population growths of these two pests of tomatoon plots with and without pesticide sprayings for 5 strains of tomatoes obtained from AVRDC (G1-G6) and 4 varieties (G7-G10) available in the local market. The population of leafminer started growing a week after replanting and reached the peak 7-8 weeks then it started declining until 12 weeks after replanting.Statistical analysis showed that there was no significant difference on the population growth of L. sativae on sprayed plots for all strains from AVRDCand varieties G7-G9 but it was significant different from G10. There was also no significant difference on population growths of L. sativae for strains G1,G2 and G4 to G7 and G8 but it was significant different with strains G5,G9 and G10 on sprayed plots and plots without spraying.The population of N. tenuis grew quicker and reached the peak on week 6 after replanting and starts declining until week 12th. Statistical analysis showed that there was no significant difference on the population of N. tenuis on all strains and varieties G7 and G8 on plots without spraying but there was significant difference for all strains and varieties G7-G9 with variety G10. ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perbedaan pertumbuhan populasihama penggorok daun, Liriomyza sativae dan kepik tomat mirid, Nesidiocoris tenuis pada petak tanpa penyemprotan pestisida dan dengan penyemprotan pestisida pada 5 galur tomat yang berasal dari AVRDC dan 4 varietas tomat yang tersedia di pasaran.Populasi penggorok daun, L. sativae mulai terlihat sejak seminggu sesudah dipindahkan dan mencapai puncak 7-8 minggu kemudian populasihama mulai menurun sampai 12 minggu sesudah tanaman dipindahkan. Hasil analisis statistika tidak terdapat perbedaan nyata terhadap populasi L. sativae pada petak yang disemprot pestisida untuk semua galur dari AVRDC serta varietas G7- G9 tapi berbeda nyata dengan varietas G10. Juga, tidak terdapat perbedaan yang nyata antara populasi L. sativae untuk galur G1,G2, G4,G7dan G8 tetapi berbeda nyata dengan galur G5, G9 dan G10 pada petak yang tidak disemprot pestisida. Populasi L. sativae terendah pada varietas G10 baik pada petak penyemprotan maupunpetak tanpa penyemprotan pestisida.Populasi N. tenuis berkembang lebih cepat dan mencapai puncak pada minggu ke enam dan ke tujuh serta menurun sampai minggu ke 12 sesudah tanaman tomat dipindahkan.Hasil analisis statistika menunjukkan tidak terdapat perbedaan yang nyata terhadap populasi N. tenuis untuk semua galur dari AVRDC serta varietas G7 dan G8 pada petak tanpa penyemprotan tetapi terdapat perbedaan yang nyata antara semua galur dan varietas G7-G9 dengan varietas G10.

Abstract:
Types of five of the six Plecoptera species described by Émile Blanchard and the holotype of the single stonefly described by Jules François Mabille were discovered in the National Museum Prague, Czech Republic. The identity of P. myrmidon Mabille, 1891 and P. pictetii Blanchard, 1854 are confirmed as Potamoperla myrmidon and Pictetoperla gayi (Pictet, 1841), respectively. Perla virescentipennis Blanchard, 1851 is considered as Diamphipnopsis virescentipennis comb. n., with Diamphipnosis samali Illies, 1960 syn. n. as a junior subjective synonym, and Diamphipnoa chillanae nom. n. is proposed for D. virescentipennis sensu Illies 1960. Lectotypes are designated for three species: Nemoura rufescens Blanchard, 1851 is redescribed as Austronemoura rufescens (Blanchard, 1851) comb. n., with Perla infuscata Blanchard, 1851 syn. n. and Perla blanchardi Jakobson & Bianchi, 1905 syn. n. designated as junior subjective synonyms, whereas Perla stictica Blanchard, 1851 is treated as Neonemura stictica (Blanchard, 1851) comb. n., nomen dubium. Paralectotypes of these three species belong to further four taxa. Due to the missing syntypes, Perla lineatocollis Blanchard, 1851 is treated as a nomen dubium of uncertain suborder assignment. Specimens of the Blanchard collections that cannot regarded as types are enumerated belonging to six species. Recent collections of 15 species from Chile are also reported.

Abstract:
The genus Ennada Blanchard, 1852 is reviewed and redefined. A coniform signum in the genitalia of the female and androconium in the basal third of the costa of the valvae in the male genitalia constitute diagnostic characters for the genus. The genera Phyllia Blanchard 1852 and Anchiphyllia Butler 1893 are junior synonyms of Ennada. The following species are included: E. flavaria Blanchard 1852, E. pellicata (Felder & Rogenhofer 1875) comb. nov., and E. blanchardi sp. nov. The geographic distribution of the genus is between 29º and 44º S in Chile. The adults, their genitalia and distribution are described and illustrated. A key to differentiate the species is provided.

Abstract:
We investigated the validity and distribution of the subspecies Acris crepitans blanchardi. Currently Acris crepitans contains three subspecies: the northern cricket frog (A. c. crepitans), Blanchards cricket frog (A. c. blanchardi) and the coastal cricket frog (A. c. paludicola). We examined the diagnostic characters of 1441 specimens from the center of the range (Arkansas, Missouri, and Mississippi), 161 specimens from the extreme northwest portion of this species range (South Dakota and Nebraska), and 85 from the extreme southeast portion of the species range (Florida and Georgia). Discriminate analysis was applied to the tabulated data and no significant differences between portions of the range could be discerned. No concrete evidence was found to support designation of specimens from South Dakota and Nebraska or from Smallens Cave (origin of the type specimen) as A. c. blanchardi. This information places the subspecies A. c. blanchardi in a status of doubtful validity suggesting that no delineation between A. c. blanchardi and A. c. crepitans should be made at this time.

Dans de nombreux domaines, les maux des sociétés contemporaines imposent des problématiques nouvelles. Le progrès technoscientifique, qui se traduit de plus en plus par l'omnipotence des technosciences, invite à une réorientation de la pensée sur la question de la nature. La résolution des problèmes écologiques qui touchent notre planète ne peut plus être l'exclusivité des technosciences et de l’écologie comme discipline scientifique. Le travail de la philosophie, à travers notamment la réflexion morale, peut faire de l'environnement un nouvel objet d'étude. Et même, la philosophie doit désormais s'y attacher en vue de repenser les rapports entre l'homme et la nature. Le stoïcisme proposait aux Grecs anciens un art de vivre. Pour Zénon de Citium, la morale était inséparable de la notion de nature saisie comme un Tout rationnel. La nature doit donc se comprendre comme un ensemble dont la structure rationnelle assure l'autorégulation et la cohérence. De fait, une telle approche redevient un impératif en termes de conscience et de responsabilité. Il peut importer, notamment, de poser les êtres vivants comme sujets de droit au même titre que les humains. A fortiori quand le progrès technoscientifique devient indispensable pour l'humanité et les autres espèces vivantes, la rectitude de l'intention humaine doit guider l'action et l'éthique. Et c'est l'exercice de la raison qui doit déterminer la forme de l'action humaine
In various fields, the contemporary society's troubles and problems call for new problematics and solutions. The technoscientific progress has become a so powerfull way of material transformation, that a new orientation of the human thinking as regarding the concept of nature must be found. The ecologic dangers at a planetary level being more and more evident, the technosciences and the ecology as a scientific discipline cannot solve the problem by themselves only. A philosophic approach, particularly in the ethic aspects, could contribute to constitute the Environnement as new studies object, in which the reason as a practice would be able to build without dogmatism a new conception of the relation between mankind and nature. Zeno of Citium and the stoïcian philosophy had provided an art of life for the ancient Greeks. In Zeno's conception, Nature was a rational whole which included most of the ethic realities. Such a rational whole was able to autoregulate itself and to guaranty its own coherence. Nowadays, the link between nature and reason never than ever requires consciousness and responsability, and probably new Rights as a statute for every living being and species. If the technoscience is for ever an human need, the human reason must be able to determine and lead the technoscientific activity in the best way on the ethic point of view

Introdução Os complexos An. oswaldoi e An. albitarsis são formados por espécies morfologicamente semelhantes e, algumas delas, são importantes vetores de plasmódios que causam a malária humana. A separação das espécies de cada complexo é problemática devido ao polimorfismo e sobreposição dos caracteres morfológicos utilizados em chaves de identificação, que muitas vezes só é alcançada com o uso de marcadores moleculares. No entanto, a identificação correta das espécies se faz necessária para a avaliação adequada da importância epidemiológica das mesmas. Infelizmente, são poucos os estudos que objetivam a caracterização morfológica dos membros do complexo An. oswaldoi e An. albitarsis. Objetivos Caracterizar morfologicamente e molecularmente o An. oswaldoi s.s.; caracterizar morfologicamente cinco espécies do complexo An. albitarsis; estabelecer caracteres morfológicos que permitam a separação entre as espécies do complexo An. albitarsis; solucionar problema de nomenclatura de An. marajoara. Métodos - Foram utilizados espécimes disponíveis nos acervos da Coleção Entomológica do Departamento de Epidemiologia da Faculdade de Saúde Pública (FSP/USP), do Museu Nacional do Rio de Janeiro e do Instituto Oswaldo Cruz, Rio de Janeiro, Brasil e do National Museum of Natural History (NMNH), EUA. Foram descritas e ilustradas as fêmeas adultas, genitálias masculinas, larvas de quarto estadio e pupas de seis espécies de Nyssorhynchus, e a larva de primeiro estadio de An. albitarsis s.s. Foram utilizados 40 caracteres de fêmeas adultas das cinco espécies do complexo An. albitarsis. Nas análises morfométricas foram empregadas técnicas de análises estatísticas multivariadas. Resultados Os adultos machos e fêmeas, larvas de quarto estadio e pupas de An. oswaldoi s.s., An. albitarsis s.s., An. marajoara e An.deaneorum foram redescritos, e descritos aqueles de An. albitarsis B e An. albitarsis E. Os resultados das análises multivariadas dos caracteres morfométricos demonstraram que é possível separar as cinco espécies do complexo An. albitarsis. Para promover a estabilidade do nome An. marajoara, a lâmina da genitália masculina que acompanha o holótipo foi invalidada. Conclusões Foi possível caracterizar An. oswaldoi s.s. através de marcadores morfológicos e moleculares. Os resultados das análises morfométricas demonstraram que é possível separar as cinco espécies do complexo An. albitarsis e que os espécimes de An. marajoara podem pertencer a duas espécies distintas.
Introduction The Anopheles oswaldoi and An. albitarsis complexes contain morphologically cryptic species, including some important vectors of human malaria. Species diagnosis within each complex is problematic due to polymorphisms and overlapping morphological characters in identification keys and many times must employ molecular biology methods. Although correct identification is necessary to evaluate the respective epidemiological importance of each species, there exist few studies that have characterized the morphological characters of the An. oswaldoi and An. albitarsis complexes. Objectives Morphologically and molecularly characterize An. oswaldoi s.s.; morphologically characterize five species of the An. albitarsis complex; establish morphological characters that separate species of the An. albitarsis complex; resolve nomenclature problems within An. marajoara. Methods- Specimens used originated from the entomological collections of the Departamento de Epidemiologia of the Faculdade de Saúde Pública (Universidade de São Paulo), from the Museu Nacional do Rio de Janeiro and from Instituto Oswaldo Cruz (Rio de Janeiro) in Brazil and of the National Museum of Natural History (USA). The adult females, male genitalia, fourthinstar larvae and pupae from six species of Nyssorhynchus and the firstinstar larva of An. albitarsis s.s. were described and illustrated. Forty adult female characters were identified form five species of the An. albitarsis complex. Multivariate statistics were used in the morphometric analyses. Results Adult males and females, fourth-instar larvae and pupae of An.oswaldoi s.s., An. albitarsis s.s., An. marajoara and An. deaneorum were redescribed. Those of An. albitarsis B and An. albitarsis E were described.Results from multivariate analyses of morphological characters separated the five species of the An. albitarsis complex. To promote the nomenclature stability of An. marajoara, the male-genitalia slide associated with the holotype was invalidated. Conclusions It was possible to characterize An. oswaldoi s.s. using both morphological characters and molecular markers. Results from morphometric analyses showed that it is possible a morphological distinction among all five species, and that the specimens of An. marajoara may belong to two distinct species.

Abstract:
Drying kinetics of Saccharina latissima (raw and blanched) at low temperatures (10.0, 25.0 and 38.0 °C) was studied. The effective moisture diffusivity coefficient varied due to temperature alterations in the range between 1.4 and 4.5 10-10 m2/s for raw and 0.91 and 2.56 10-10 m2/s for blanched seaweeds. Significant changes in structural properties and chemical composition resulted in a much longer drying time of blanched seaweeds, when compared with raw. Drying temperature of 38.0 °C resulted in more brown color, when compared with other samples. Sorption characteristics of dried raw seaweeds depended on salt content and showed high accumulation of moisture at relative humidity of air of 80.0 %. The blanched seaweeds showed linear accumulation of moisture within increasing of relative humidity of drying air from 20.0 to 80.0 %, but high level of hysteresis was determined between sorption and desorption isotherms. La vivienda situada en la denominada Peña Blanca, adopta un escueto programa de tres habitaciones, para así poder sustituir a la tipología arquitectónica existente, cuya repetición simultánea permitió formar un conjunto edificado en los años sesenta. El nuevo edificio se integra en el conjunto mediante la sencilla continuidad del preciso y definido orden que permiió configurar una unidad edificatoria..La nueva edificación se proyectó dentro de la geometría regular de la parcela, ajustándose a los límites, alturas y ocupación, así como a la composición de las fachadas, por lo que se situó entre las dos viviendas vecinas siguiendo las reglas compositivas del conjunto tanto en alineaciones como en volúmen. Sin embargo, la edificación proyectada es el resultado de decidir invertir el sistema heredado de accesos, así como el de mantener la estructura de vivienda con patio y terraza vinculada al estar. El invertir los accesos implica situar de manera lógica la puerta de garaje en la calle inferior y el acceso peatonal desde la calle superior, logrando así un mejor funcionamiento y accesibilidad.

Abstract The sun drying and far-infrared drying characteristics of lily were experimentally investigated. Fresh lily was blanched and treated with boiling water at 100 °C before drying. The effects of blanching time, drying method and drying temperature on drying rate, nutrient contents (total phenol, total flavonoid and starch contents), hardness and color were analyzed. The results showed that fresh lily without blanching pretreatment had deep browning color, wrinkled skin and long drying time under any drying temperature and drying method. However, the drying rate of samples with blanching pretreatment was significantly increased and the drying time was shortened. The drying rate of solar drying was much lower than that of infrared drying, however the drying quality is better. With the increase of blanching time, the browning degree and the nutrient contents under both drying methods were reduced, while the foaming rate was increased. The hardness after solar drying was moderate, while the hardness of far-infrared drying gradually increased with the increase of drying temperature. The blanching time of 4–6 min was the ideal pretreatment time. Under this pretreatment time, a sample with fair color and moderate hardness and nutrient contents can be obtained under the far-infrared drying temperature of 60–90 °C. The far-infrared drying was more suitable than the sun drying and the most suitable drying process was as follows: fresh lilies were blanched at 100 °C for 5 minutes, and then dried at 70°C for 7.5 hours.

El color blanco en la arquitectura tiene una dimensión particular por razones técnico-funcionales, sensoriales y, sobre todo, espaciales. En él residen los valores simbólicos que con el tiempo han determinado una especie de mito - con orígenes antiguos e inciertos, pero presente hasta la contemporaneidad. El uso del hormigón visto permite construir edificios intrínsecamente blancos, con la posibilidad de obtener construcciones monomateriales y monocromáticas. A lo largo del siglo XX, y aún hoy, las características mecánicas del hormigón blanco se han implementado continuamente y sus modalidades de empleo se han expandido no solo en las capacidades de rendimiento sino también en el campo estético y formal. A raíz de algunas experiencias pioneras de la segunda mitad del siglo XX, en la escena contemporánea destacan algunas realizaciones, en este sentido doblemente blancas, que nos permiten reconocer las diferentes naturalezas del hormigón blanco y, en particular, que nos hacen identificar técnicas diferentes y específicas de concepción del espacio y de metodología del proyecto. El uso del hormigón blanco hoy responde a la búsqueda de la perfección del material puro y noble, que recupera los valores fundamentales de la arquitectura y da forma a un diálogo innovado entre firmitasy venustas.
