Abstract:
The Koigorodsky National Park (56.7 thousand hectares) was established on December 7, 2019. It is located on the border of the Komi Republic and the Kirov region. An annotated list of liverworts collected in the Koigorodsky National Park has been presented in the article for the first time. The list includes 38 species and one subspecies of 28 genera, 21 families, seven orders (Blasiales, Jungermanniales, Marchantiales, Metzgeriales, Pelliales, Porellales, Ptilidiales), and two classes (Marchantiopsida and Jungermanniopsida). For each species, the article provides data on structures associated

Abstract The recent realization that bryophyte sporophytes are homoiohydric enabled the present analysis of morphological features specifically associated with poikilohydry. The only morphological feature absolutely diagnostic of poikilohydry is schizolytic intercellular spaces. In vascular plants these are gas-filled from the outset, but in bryophytes are liquid-filled initially. They remain in this condition in liverwort gametophytes but become gas-filled following stomatal opening in hornworts and mosses. These have fixed apertures and are completely unresponsive to environmental cues. Stom

Abstract:
TikTok has become an important digital space for solidarity among underrepresented groups. However, it is also a space where stereotypes and offensive jokes are proliferated through unique affordances such as “Use This Sound.” For this study, I focused on Black-Asian multiracials known as “Blasians” and how they used TikTok. I analyzed 56 videos, 47 by Blasian creators and nine by non-Blasian creators, using content analysis and Berger’s typology of 45 humor techniques to uncover common themes and strategies employed by Blasians and non-Blasians on TikTok. Three major findings emerged from the

Abstract:
This book examines the racialization of Blasians – mixed race people with Black and Asian ancestry – that neither sees them as new or unique, nor as a racial salve to move the United States past the problem of the colour line. The emergence of Blasian celebrities and the analyses of these stars acknowledges that to understand what and who is a Blasian means to first understand hegemonic notions of both Blacks and Asian/Americans. Contextualized against those dominant discourses Blasians explode the narrow boundaries of authenticity around racialized categories. Multiracial people are just as c
