vuxnas läsning av skönlitteratur I became happier and wiser: young adults reading of fiction [123[upps-01.gif This Masters thesis explores young adults 18-26 years old, reading of fiction: their reading preferences, the meaning of reading and their access to literature. A study was made by way of a questionnaire, including 56 young adults, and seven qualitative interviews with two groups: one at a folk highschool and the other at a public library. The theories we have used to analyse the results are: theories of gender and youth, theories of literary genres, reader-response criticism, literature sociology and the theories of cultural sociology by the sociologist Pierre Bourdieu. In the analysis the results are compared to other studies of reading habits. Results from this study show that the young adults read fiction from several genres among popular- and quality literature. Women read more than men and they read fiction by male and female authors. Men are in favour of male authors. Women read more genres than men do and many women prefer reading realistic stories about peoples tragic fortunes. Most of the respondents read fiction for entertainment, for emotional and/or existential causes and for general knowledge. We observe that there are both differences and similarities between the two groups. The majority of the respondents obtain books at the school- and/or public library but many of them borrow books from friends or buy fiction in bookstores.<br>Uppsatsnivå: D

Die Arbeit beschäftigt sich mit der galvanischen Legierungsabscheidung für die Systeme Cu-Pb, Ag-Pb und Au-Pb. Es konnte nachgewiesen werden, dass es zur Bildung stark übersättigter Mischkristalle kommt, deren Struktur- und Gefügeeigenschaften direkte Abhängigkeiten von den Abscheidebedingungen zeigen. Es treten für die Einzelsysteme Unterschiedlichkeiten auf, die in direkten Zusammenhang mit dem Gitteraufbau der Matrixelemente gebracht werden können. Besonderes Interesse verdient die Härte der Schichten, die im Vergleich zu schmelzmetallurgischen Legierungen um Größenordnungen höher liegt. Bei Wärmebehandlung unter Schutzgas- oder Sauerstoffatmosphäre sind Cu-Pb-Schichten durch Erholungsvorgänge und Ag-Pb-Schichten durch eine partielle Rekristallisation gekennzeichnet. Bei innerer Oxydation des Bleis kommt es im System Cu-Pb zu einer signifikanten Härtesteigerung, während im System Ag-Pb kein Einfluss auf die Härte beobachtet werden kann.

Ungdomsbrottslighet är ett aktuellt problem som finns i Sverige och framställs i media att den ökar, vilket inte stämmer då det finns rapporter och statistik på att det har skett en minskning. Statistik är en viktig del i brottspreventivt syfte eftersom den hjälper forskare få en bild av hur omfattande ungdomsbrottsligheten är, dess utveckling, omfattning, dess minskande och om det förekommer skillnader mellan de olika regionerna i Sverige. ”Detta var min vändpunkt” är en studie vars syfte är att granska varför ungdomar i kriminalitet slutar att begå brott och även undersöka vilka deras vändpunkt/er var utifrån teoretikerna Robert Sampson och John Laubs teori om vändpunkter. Frågeställningarna som uppsatsen behandlat är: vad fick vissa ungdomar att sluta begå brott, finns det vändpunkter för ungdomsbrottslingar samt om någon av dessa vändpunkter var relationer, miljöombyte eller sysselsättning.För att undersöka och besvara dessa frågor har en kvalitativ ansats använts. Tre stycken semistrukturerade intervjuer genomfördes med medlemmar från Unga Kris. Resultatet analyserades och diskuterades utifrån teorin om turning points samt tidigare forskning. Frågeställningarna besvarades och det informanterna uppgav har varit mest betydelsefullt för att avsluta en brottslig karriär är självinsikt, sysselsättning och relationer till nära och kära. Vändpunkter som har varit bidragande faktorer har varit sysselsättning, inre motivation, nära till förlust av närstående vilket ledde till en vilja att förändra sin levnadssituation.<br>Juvenile delinquency is a current problem that exists in the Swedish society which is portrayed as increasing, which is not true since there are reports and statistics that there is a decreasing level of juvenile delinquency .Statistics is an important part of crime prevention because it helps scientists understand the extent of juvenile delinquency, its development, its range, its increase and decrease and whether there are differences between the different regions in Sweden. But who are the young people that represent the statistic and why did they stop commit crime?This was my turning point is a study which aims to examine why young people involved in crime stop committing crimes and also examine their turning point/ s which is based on the theorists Robert Sampson and John Laubs theory of turning points .To examine and answer these questions, a qualitative approach was used. Three semi-structured interviews were conducted with members of the Young Kris. The results were analyzed and discussed based on the theory of turning points and previous research. The informants stated that the meaningful factors that lead to the end of their criminal career were self-perception, occupation and relationships with loved ones. Turning points that have been contributing factors was inner motivation, imprisonment, and loss of relatives, which led to a desire to change their life situation.

Abstract. Smart phones together with plethora of different sensors create a massive data collection system. This system can be also used for storing, analyzing, and broadcasting data. Data can be anything that can be metered or derived, from chemical compounds to traffic congestion to advertisement data to users’ activity or health statistics. Using the sensors already present in smartphones together with Bluetooth capable controller chips to add more sophisticated sensors, user creates an easily extendable monitoring system that does not require an internet connection. After embedded initialization programming, configuring and managing these chips can be done with a smartphone using Bluetooth communication stack. This study presents an Android-library for managing BLE peripherals and an app to collecting and store the recorded data. Bluetooth devices are scanned and connected through Bluetooth Low Energy interface and data is stored to persistent Room database.Tiivistelmä. Älypuhelimet yhdessä lukuisten eri antureiden kanssa luovat massiivisen järjestelmän tietojen keräämiseksi, tallentamiseksi, lähettämiseksi ja analysoimiseksi. Nämä tiedot voivat olla mitä tahansa kemiallisista yhdisteistä liikenteen ruuhkautumiseen ja mainosdatan esittämisestä käyttäjän aktiivisuuteen ja terveystilastoihin. Käyttämällä älypuhelimen valmiiksi olemassa olevia sensoreita ja yhdistelemällä niitä Bluetooth -ominaisuudella varustettuun ohjaussiruun kehittyneempien sensorien kanssa, käyttäjä saa luotua helposti laajennettavan monitorointi verkoston, joka ei vaadi internet yhteyttä. Abstract:
In order to reach the social democratic vision of the welfare society, the old communities based on parishes needed to become bigger entities. Hence, the Swedish government issued a reform to shape new, bigger communities that would be able to guarantee the citizens a part of the welfare. This reform shock the old identities all over Sweden, which led to certain amounts of conflict towards the state, within communities as well as between communities. This essay has focused on the implementation of the reform, where Aneboda, Asa and Bergs communities became one community - Lammhults. Issues regarding identity, centre and periphery, political culture, conflict and consensus are lifted in the process towards one, economically sound community. The result showed that the level of conflict varied among the different communities, where Aneboda fought the hardest to maintain their independence, as Asa and Berg tried to, without success, include Tolg into the new community. This was a conflict between the countryside and station society, where no-one wanted to change the old ways and cast aside the old identities.
