Abstract:
Over the last few decades, we have witnessed how violence in fiction —as much in the television and cinema realm as in the theatre— has considerably multiplied. Sergi Belbel elaborates on various forms of violence and aggressiveness throughout his drama production, particu- larly in his plays Morir (un instante antes de morir) and La sangre. The aim of this article is to systematize the diverse displays of these phenomena in both texts on the basis of the taxonomies proposed by psychiatrist Luis Rojas Marcos in Las semillas de la violencia and biopsychologist John W. Renfrew in Agresión: naturaleza y control with a view to elucidate what types of violence and aggression are more recurrent and to draw conclu- sions on the function they play.

Abstract:
The blow-extruded tube-like regeneration cellulose films in different blow-up ratios were prepared by NMMO technology. It was studied the effect of different blow-up ratio on the mechanical and obstructing properties as well as the morphology cross-section of cellulose blown films. It is found that the tensile strength and obstructing performance except elongation at break of films are improved when blow-up ratios increasing. The tensile strength of 1.3, 1.7 blow-up ratio cellulose blown films in longitudinal and transverse is 36.4MPa and 39.9MPa, 13.8MPa and 29.04MPa, respectively. The elongation at a break of 1.3, 1.7 blow-up ratio cellulose blown films in longitudinal and transverse is 105.4% and 72.01%, 42.4% and 25.79%, respectively. The OPF and WVP value of 1.3, 1.7 blow-up ratio cellulose blown films are 13.34×10-15cm3•cm/(cm2•s•Pa) and 1.36×10-15cm3•cm/(cm2•s•Pa) , 4.18×10-13g•cm/cm2•s•Pa and 1.87×10-13g•cm/cm2•s•Pa, respectively. The SEM picture of cross-section of 1.7 blow-up ratio films displays denser and lower porosity than 1.3 blow-up ratio films. According to the results of study, the films prepared by using NMMO technology would be used in food packaging or other fields as a kind of green packaging material.

Abstract:
In this paper we study numerical approximations for positive solutions of a nonlinear heat equation with a nonlinear boundary condition. We describe in terms of the nonlinearities when solutions of a semidiscretization in space exist globally in time and when they blow up in finite time. We also find the blow-up rates and the blow-up sets. In particular we prove that regional blow-up is not reproduced by the numerical scheme. However, in the appropriate variables we can reproduce the correct blow-up set when the mesh parameter goes to zero.

Abstract:
Background:Pollination has a great effect on the yield of fruit trees. Blow flies are considered as an effective pollinator compared to hand pollination in fruit orchards. Therefore, this study was designed to evaluate the effect of different pollination methods in mango orchards.Methodology:The impact of pollination on quantity and quality of mango yield by blow flies was estimated by using three treatments, i.e., open pollinated trees, trees were covered by a net in the presence of blow flies for pollination, and trees were covered with a net but without insects. Results:The maximum number of flowers was recorded in irregular types of inflorescence, i.e., 434.80 flowers/inflorescence. Fruit setting (bud) was higher in open pollinated mango trees (i.e. 37.00/inflorescence) than enclosed pollination by blow flies (i.e. 22.34/inflorescence). The size of the mango fruit was the highest (5.06 mm) in open pollinated tree than those pollinated by blow flies (3.93 mm) and followed by without any pollinator (3.18 mm) at marble stage. We found that the maximum weight of mango fruit (201.19 g) was in open pollinated trees.Discussion:The results demonstrated that blow flies can be used as effective mango pollinators along with other flies and bees. The blow flies have shown a positive impact on the quality and quantity of mango. This study will be helpful in future and also applicable at farm level to use blow flies as pollinators that are cheap and easy to rear.

Abstract:
Nonwoven mats of poly(lactic acid) (PLA), poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO), and poly(ε-caprolactone) (PCL) were prepared at a nano- and submicron scale by solution blow spinning (SBS) and electrospinning in order to compare crystalline structure and morphology developed by both processes during fiber formation. Polymer solutions were characterized by rheometry and tensiometry. Spun fibers were characterized by several analytical steps. SEM analyses showed that both solution blow spun and electrospun fibers had similar morphology. Absence of residual solvents and characteristic infrared bands in the solution blow spun fibers for PLA, PCL, and PEO was confirmed by FTIR studies. XRD diffraction patterns for solution blow spun and electrospun mats revealed some differences related to distinct mechanisms of fiber formation developed by each process. Significant differences in thermal behavior by DSC were observed between cast films of PLA, PCL, and PEO and their corresponding spun nanofibers. Furthermore, the average contact angles for spun PLA and PCL were higher than for electrospun mats, whereas it was slightly lower for PEO. When comparing electrospun and solution blow spun fibers, it was possible to verify that fiber morphology and physical properties depended both on the spinning technique and type of polymer.

Abstract:
We give an alternative self-contained proof of the homogenization theorem for periodic multi-parameter integrals that was established by the authors. The proof in that paper relies on the so-called compactness method for Γ-convergence, while the one presented here is by direct verification: the candidate to be the limit homogenized functional is first exhibited and the definition of Γ-convergence is then verified. This is done by an extension of bounded gradient sequences using the Acerbi et al. extension theorem from connected sets, and by the adaptation of some localization and blow-up techniques developed by Fonseca and Müller, together with De Giorgi's slicing method.

The blow-up of solutions for a class of quasilinear reaction-diffusion equations with a gradient term ut = div(a(u)b(x)▽u)+ f (x;u; |▽u|2; t) under nonlinear boundary condition ¶u=¶n+g(u) = 0 are studied. By constructing a new auxiliary function and using Hopf’s maximum principles, we obtain the existence theorems of blow-up solutions, upper bound of blow-up time, and upper estimates of blow-up rate. Our result indicates that the blow-up time T* may depend on a(u), while being independent of g(u) and f .

Abstract:
Theoretical and practical aspects of the problem of functioning of the world’s means of payment and accumulation are discussed. It is shown that the US dollar is one of the specific forms of world money along with other ‘dominant’ currencies due to its function as a reliable asset for other countries, requiring for the issuing country exceptionally strong national institutions and confidence in this national currency, the American currency is also the universal equivalent in international settlements and the world’s means of payment, accumulation and medium of circulation. It is determined that the Russian ruble is ‘commodity’ currency but not the ‘dominant’ currency, and its share in international settlements is almost imperceptible. It is shown that, other things being equal, the American currency will continue to flow into Russia, since the export of Russian raw materials is traded on the world market mainly in dollars. It was revealed that the strategy for de-dollarization of the Russian economy did not contribute to the displacement of the dollar from payments for exports from Russia, with a noticeable increase in the share of the euro in payments. It was found that the transition in Russia’s settlements from China to national currencies was not carried out, and the EAEU countries remained the only ruble zone in settlements for Russia. It is shown that Russia’s attempt to switch to settlements exclusively in rubles is tantamount to creating an exclusive money circulation system for a small country, which, within the framework of the ‘dominant’ currencies paradigm, shows its limitations. The risks for the Russian economy as a result of its isolation from the system of international settlements in dollars and euros are formulated as part of the current sanctions by developed countries

After the construction of an ultra-thin concrete pavement, ambient temperatures may induce an axial force within the pavement due to thermal expansion that can lead to the formation of a blow-up failure. By analysing the mechanism of a blow-up, temperature differentiates at which a blow-up failure in ultra-thin concrete pavements may occur were identified. Safe construction temperature range graphs were produced for different ultra-thin concrete pavements to serve as a guideline that would potentially limit the occurrence of blow-ups.

This result extends the recent results given by Baghaei Khadijeh et al. \cite{Baghaei}, which ensures the lower bounds for the blow-up time of solutions with initial data $\varphi\left( 0\right) =\int_{\Omega }u_{0}{}^{k}dx$, $k$ = constant.

Abstract:
Reducing water consumption in bioethanol production conserves an increasingly scarce natural resource, lowers production costs, and minimizes effluent management issues. The suitability of cooling tower blow down water for reuse in fermentation was investigated as a means to lower water consumption. Extensive chemical characterization of the blow down water revealed low concentrations of toxic elements and total dissolved solids. Fermentation carried out with cooling tower blow down water resulted in similar levels of ethanol and residual glucose as a control study using deionized water. The study noted good tolerance by yeast to the specific scale and corrosion inhibitors found in the cooling tower blow down water. This research indicates that, under appropriate conditions, reuse of blow down water from cooling towers in fermentation is feasible.

Using the bifurcation method of dynamical systems, we study nonlinear waves in the generalized mKdV equation ut + a(1 + bu2)u2ux + uxxx = 0. (i) We obtain four types of new expressions. The first type is composed of four common expressions of the symmetric solitary waves, the kink waves and the blow-up waves. The second type includes four common expressions of the anti-symmetric solitary waves, the kink waves and the blow-up waves. The third type is made of two trigonometric expressions of periodic-blow-up waves. The fourth type is composed of two fractional expressions of 1-blow-up waves. (ii) We point out that there are two sets of kink waves which are called tall-kink waves and low-kink waves, respectively. (iii) We reveal two kinds of new bifurcation phenomena. The first phenomenon is that the low-kink waves can be bifurcated from four types of nonlinear waves, the symmetric solitary waves, blow-up waves, tall-kink waves and anti-symmetric solitary waves. The second phenomenon is that the 1-blow-up waves can be bifurcated from the periodic-blow-up waves. We also show that the common expressions include many results given by pioneers.

We study the blow-up behaviour of solutions of a 2mth order semilinear parabolic equation[formula here]with a superlinear function q(u) for |u| Gt; 1. We prove some estimates on the asymptotic blow-up behaviour. Such estimates apply to general integral evolution equations. We answer the following question: find a continuous function q(u) with a superlinear growth as u → ∞ such that the parabolic equation exhibits regional blow-up in a domain of finite non-zero measure. We show that such a regional blow-up can occur for q(u) = u|ln|u‖2m. We present a formal asymptotic theory explaining that the stable (generic) blow-up behaviour as t → T− is described by the self-similar solution[formula here]of the complex Hamilton–Jacobi equation[formula here].

Abstract:
Among the processing methods by cold flow, toothing by intermittent blow is one of the most widespread. The gear-cutting by cold generation by intermittent blow is a processing method which extended continuously especially in the last 30 years. This enabled on the one hand, a better knowledge of the properties of toothed surfaces, and on the other hand the emphasis of the relationships between the superficial characteristics and the exploitation (use) properties of these products (frictional, fatigue etc.), as well as of the optimization of the technological processing parameters of these surfaces. The present paper presents a determination study on the depth of the hammer-hardened coat in the cold teething process by intermittent blow for a tooth of the generated teeth.

Abstract:
Using bifurcation method of dynamical systems, we investigate the nonlinear waves for the generalized Zakharov equationsutt-cs2uxx=β(|E|2)xx, iEt+αExx-δ1uE+δ2|E|2E+δ3|E|4E=0,whereα,β,δ1,δ2,δ3, andcsare real parameters,E=E(x,t)is a complex function, andu=u(x,t)is a real function. We obtain the following results. (i) Three types of explicit expressions of nonlinear waves are obtained, that is, the fractional expressions, the trigonometric expressions, and the exp-function expressions. (ii) Under different parameter conditions, these expressions represent symmetric and antisymmetric solitary waves, kink and antikink waves, symmetric periodic and periodic-blow-up waves, and 1-blow-up and 2-blow-up waves. We point out that there are two sets of kink waves which are called tall-kink waves and low-kink waves, respectively. (iii) Five kinds of interesting bifurcation phenomena are revealed. The first kind is that the 1-blow-up waves can be bifurcated from the periodic-blow-up and 2-blow-up waves. The second kind is that the 2-blow-up waves can be bifurcated from the periodic-blow-up waves. The third kind is that the symmetric solitary waves can be bifurcated from the symmetric periodic waves. The fourth kind is that the low-kink waves can be bifurcated from four types of nonlinear waves, the symmetric solitary waves, the 1-blow-up waves, the tall-kink waves, and the antisymmetric solitary waves. The fifth kind is that the tall-kink waves can be bifurcated from the symmetric periodic waves. We also show that the exp-function expressions include some results given by pioneers.

Abstract:
In this paper, glass fibers were prepared by centrifugal-spinneret-blow(CSB)process. The diameter and microstructure of glass fibers have been investigated by scanning electron microscopy(SEM)and vertical optical microscope(VOM).The thermal conductivity and the thickness of glass fiber samples were determined by heat flow meter thermal conductivity instrumentation. The results indicated that the diameter of glass fibers prepared by CSB process can reach the ultrafine grade by adjusting the ratio of raw materials and process parameters. The thermal conductivity of glass fiber sample was 0.0298W/(m·K)when the diameter was 3μm and the density was 62kg/m3.The thermal conductivity of glass fiber sample decreased with the reduction of fiber diameter when the density of glass fiber sample is constant.
