Based on the well-defined UML2.0 activity diagram, a meta-model based on Control Flow Diagram is presented. And our strategy in this article is to define an OCL-based mapping in a formal and verifiable form as consistency rules between an AISD and a CFG, so as to ensure the completeness of our meta-models and allow their verification. At last, we adopt a static analyze method to transform procedure blueprint to Control Flow diagram.

Abstract:
I remember with some precision when I began believing that there is nothing so complex that a reasonably intelligent person cannot comprehend it. It was a summer day, when I was 15 or 16, and my best friend, Ron Light, and I decided that we wanted to understand how a guitar amplifier works. We both played in a mediocre I96os-era garage band. While Ron went on to become a fairly accomplished guitarist, I was slowly learning that any talent I had didn't lie within the realm of music. Already the aspiring little scientist, I was able to learn enough of the logic of basic harmony theory to execute the mindlessly simple algorithms called bass riffs, and if pressed I could even fire off a bass solo, the dread of concertgoers everywhere. But my approach to the performance was purely intellectual. I didn't have rhythm, or maybe soul. Poring over the symbols on the circuit diagram of Ron's Fender Deluxe Reverb amplifier seemed infinitely more interesting than trying to read music. I wanted to know what that impressively convoluted blueprint really meant, how electricity flowing through the labyrinth of wires and components could cause the tiny vibration of a guitar string to be multiplied so many times that it rocked the walls of the living room, inciting the neighbors to call the police. This was still the era of the vacuum tube, before those glowing glass envelopes were replaced by coldly efficient transistors and microchips. Electronics was pretty simple to understand. I had already learned some basics from The Boys' Second Book of Radio and Electronics and the guide for the Boy Scout electricity merit badge (the colorful embroidered patch was decorated with a human fist clutching zigzag lightning bolts). In a typical circuit, there were resistors that, true to their calling, resisted electricity, pinching the flow of electrons. There were capacitors, also aptly named, that stored electrical charges. There were tightly wound coils of copper wire called inductors that would hold energy in the form of electromagnetic fields. Finally, there were the vacuum tubes themselves, mysterious pockets of illuminated nothingness inside of which the actual amplification took place.

Abstract:
Visual instructional design languages currently provide notations for representing the intermediate and final results of a knowledge engineering process. As some languages particularly focus on the formal representation of a learning design that can be transformed into machine interpretable code (i.e., IML-LD players), others have been developed to support the creativity of designers while exploring their problem-spaces and solutions. This chapter introduces CPM (Computer Problem-based Metamodel), a visual language for the instructional design of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) situations. On the one hand, CPM sketches of a PBL situation can improve communication within multidisciplinary ID teams; on the other hand, CPM blueprints can describe the functional components that a Technology-Enhanced Learning (TEL) system should offer to support such a PBL situation. We first present the aims and the fundamentals of CPM language. Then, we analyze CPM usability using a set of CPM diagrams produced in a case study in a ‘real-world’ setting

Abstract:
Abstract According to Nelson Goodman, artworks and their scores, scripts, diagrams, blueprints, sketches, and even performances are symbols. The members of this eclectic group instantiate virtually every symbolic relation under the sun: they denote, refer, represent, notate, exemplify, express, describe. In his seminal and difficult book, Languages of Art, Goodman undertakes to provide an analysis of these various relations, sharply segregating his theoretical concerns from merely ‘applied’ or ‘practical’ (e.g. psychological) ones. The following remarks are characteristic: The ... stated requirements for a notational system are all negative and general, satisfiable by systems with null or even no [syntactic] characters A good many other features that might be thought essential are not covered ... No requirement of a manageably small or even finite set of atomic characters, no requirement of clarity, of legibility, of durability, of maneuverability, of ease of writing or reading, of graphic suggestiveness, of mnemonic efficacy, or of ready duplicability or performability has been imposed. These may be highly desirable properties, and to some degree even necessary for any practicable notation; and the study of such engineering matters could be fascinating and profitable. But none of this has anything to do with the basic theoretical function of notation systems. (154)

"The text as a whole will introduce students to the value of alternatives to purely textual explanations. An ability to comprehend diagrammatic explanations will be encouraged. Diagrams present another way of seeing, and the sheer novelty value of seeing the interconnections in a diagram can sometimes be enough to change confusion into comprehension. It is hoped that students will begin to draw them for themselves. The numerous diagrams used in this text are integral to the successful understanding of legal method as presented here. They have been specifically designed to: • provide a way of taking students to deeper levels of understanding; • give a basic description or blueprint for an area; • demonstrate interconnections between seemingly disconnected areas/texts/ skills. To emphasise the value of diagrams, Figure 1.1, below, sets out the disarmingly simple, broad structure of this text. Where specific materials are required to be read, these will be found in Appendices 1–3. Patient study will be rewarded by clear progress in substantive law areas. If students work through the text methodically, they will reach a place of understanding where they know how to competently present arguments. They can then develop these skills during the course of their studies. 1.1.1 The structure of the book Careful thought has gone into the structure of this book. If it is approached in order, students will obtain a systematic introduction to the skills vital to the academic stage of legal education. If students already possess some knowledge and wish to look at specific skills, then discrete chapters do stand alone. This book is, however, no substitute for English legal texts or texts in substantive areas such as European Community law. The book draws on a range of areas of law to demonstrate skill development, and to alert students to some of the confusions and mistakes easily made by new law students. It is a book that bridges the gap between substantive legal subjects and the skill base that needs to be acquired in relation to reading law, writing legal answers competently and engaging in competent argument construction. It will be of use within certain parts of legal method programmes. However, its overall practical approach will require supplementing with critical texts in the area of legal method. 1.2 LEARNING OUTCOMES By the end of this chapter, readers should: • be aware of how to use this book; • understand the range of skills required for competent legal study."
