Abstract:

This research with the title The analysis of symbols, punctuations and declarations in C language is analyzed accordingly by conversion in order to find the perspective of language: structuralism, meaning, and functionalism, while keeping both of English and computer subject in process for the research. This research has limitation by the chosen of platform and software with Borland C++, the source of the datum also considered to be the basic material so that this thesis doesn’t has many problems to solve.By the observation method which is followed by these three crucial problems: (1) The Identification of semiotic problem in symbols from computer language to English language, (2) The Identification of semiotic problem in declarations from computer language to English language, (3) The Identification of semiotic problem in declarations from computer language to English language.  The implication of the problem here is how the researcher convert the C language into English language patterns.The purpose of this research is equally to identify and analyze the symbols, punctuations and declarations from the Borland C++ platform and converting it into English comprehensions. Furthermore, this research is expected to familiarize the reader with which semiotics usually use in C or programming language and what’s their significant in English language.In this research, the researcher utilizes semiotics theory and computer programming theory which these two subjects combined together and creating the subject of interdisciplinary called Computational Semiotic.

Abstract:

Happy Nugrahaning Widhi, Heru Winarno, in paper orchid plant watering system using humidity sensor used Borland Delphi 7 based on arduino uno R3 explain that the utilization of variable moisture for plant watering orchids do not fully utilized. At this time watering orchids is still done manually. It certainly took a lot of time, by making a watering system based on this moisture will save time. To determine the value of temperature and humidity used SHT-11 module is capable of detecting the temperature from -40C to 123,8˚C and relative humidity from 0% RH to 100% RH. Watering plants Phalaenopsis amabilis orchids species do when the SHT-11 detects the humidity inside the orchids house below 60% RH. Watering is carried out by spraying water from above directly into the plant’s roots. The method of watering is intended that the water can be poured directly absorbed by the plant. This control system controlled by arduino uno microcontroller. As for the computer control system, used Borland Delphi 7 to make aplication for control. So this watering system is divided into two they are automated systems and control through computer system Keywords: Module SHT-11, Arduino UNO, Borland Delphi 7.

Abstract:

The use of natural teeth for performing in vivo , in situ and/or in vitro studies has been widely observed in the dental field. The mechanical behavior of teeth subjected to masticatory efforts is commonly used as a variable of response. In conditions of malocclusion, the most relevant component accounting for the integrity of the dental structure is non-axial (flexural). This force, while acting on a tooth in function in the oral cavity, generates a similar situation as that of a beam in balance supporting a load concentrated on its free extremity. Based on this configuration, a methodology has been developed to investigate the behavior of teeth subjected to this kind of efforts, taking into consideration specific aspects of the tested teeth, such as the transversal section area and the moment of inertia. For determination of the transversal section area an image analysis program was used. For assessment of the other variables, a C++ language program was implemented utilizing the Borland Compiler C++ Builder, version 1.0, for Windows (Borland International, USA). The applicability of the developed methodology is illustrated in this article using bovine teeth. Our findings indicate that more accurate data can be obtained with the application of this methodology and that it is suitable for studies testing the flexural strength of extracted teeth, as a variable of response.

Abstract:

In view of the disadvantages on working vibration or even cannot work of broaching machine derived by broaching-load’s uncertainty, a testing system of broaching-load is designed. The testing system uses an industrial computer, a high-precision data-acquisition-card, two pressure-sensors, a displacement-sensor and Borland C++ to test the broaching-load on the base of broaching machine’s electronic control system. The factual application in hydraulic broaching machine shows that the proposed system has a good performance on testing-accuracy. The proposed system gives an effective solution to broaching-load testing.

Apresenta-se um pré-processador para análise de pavimentos de edifícios via método dos elementos finitos desenvolvido como um aplicativo do ambiente Windows. O programa é interativo, permitindo identificar problemas de imediato na criação do modelo a ser estudado. Possui recursos gráficos básicos para a definição geométrica da estrutura. A saída de dados é programável para que o pré-processador não se prenda a um só programa de cálculo. Assim, os mesmos dados de uma estrutura podem ser analisados por diferentes programas de cálculo o que possibilita a escolha do programa mais adequado, dependendo do tipo de análise desejado. O aplicativo tem recursos para definir elementos finitos de barra e placa. Como o número desses elementos normalmente é grande, eles são gerados de uma forma automatizada.<br>lt is presenting a Windows preprocessar for building slab analysis by Finite Element Method. lt is an interactive program, allowing problems to be identified while the model is generated. It has graphical resources to define the structure. The program output is defined by the user; therefore it is possible to use the preprocessar with many other finite element programs. This allows the engineer to choose the appropriate program depending on the kind of analysis is wanted. The program can define frame and shell finite elements. As slabs usually need large numbers of these elements to be properly analyzed, they are generated using automatic meshing.

Abstract:

This thesis has been a study in memory management in C/C++, with practical work in finding and solving memory leaks in a large project. A background theory of C++ and memory management has been presented along with the memory problems that can arise in development in C/C++. Several topics in minimizing memory problems with using inbuilt C++ libraries and the Boost libraries have also been presented. There is also an overview of the PLC-Opt 2.2 Beta application and its inner workings. The method was to learn all about memory management and solve the memory leaks in PLC-Opt. The results showed that there were approximately 28.000 instances of memory leaks and the end result showed that approximately 700 instances of leaks remained unresolved. A list with clues of the remaining memory leaks was provided in the Future work chapter.

<p>NMD 100 is a notes and media dispensing machine, manufactured by De La Rue Ltd, located in Flen, Sweden. The customers, mainly bank offices, have expressed a need for a more comprehensive description of errors occurring from time to time in their machines. In order to acquire a BSc-degree in Computer and Electronics Technology at the University of Linköping I have carried out a diploma work, regarding new computer programs to fulfil the customers’ wishes. The machine NMD 100 is connected to its PC through handshaking. From the PC, the personnel can give orders regarding desired actions to the NMD 100. In turn, the NMD will respond to the PC. Inside the NMD, the Note Stacker is equipped with a great number of sensors. They control that the bundle of notes, delivered to the ATM customer is correct, regarding the number of notes and denomination. Notes that in any way are not immaculate will be sent to the Reject Vault. </p><p>If internal errors or warnings occur in the NMD, a code consisting of 8 digits is sent to the PC. The location of the error or warning is defined by the last 4 digits. The scope of my work is to define and present this information. For this purpose the company uses the program language C++ and the tool Borland C++ Builder 6. In particular, the program NMDW-Test is used to send commands from the PC to the NMD. After having studied the above programs, I was able to write new programmes for error detection, interface and installation. After program testing, the company accepted the result of my work.</p>

This project deals with a survey of inventory system and accounting property. The purpose of the project is to study the SAP system, IS Apollo, the database platform Oracle 10g, the RFID technology and to make a marketing research of a device for the chip EPCglobal UHF Gen2. On base marketing research propose and implement RFID inventory. At implementation target will be collective reading RFID tags. Further I will implement application simulating evidence systems and I will design data transmission to those application that will be also used at transmission data to the IS Apolla. Abstract:

Heart rate variability belongs to basic and most frequently interpretation of physiologic statement in medicine. The pulse rate serves as an indicator of the heart activity. The subject of this diploma thesis is projection of the heartbeat counter. The work describes electrocardiograph and separated waves, ways of calculation heart rate, characteristics mechanism for measuring and other necessary information about heart rate measuring. This master thesis fixates on heart rate-calculation from including R-R intervals. Here is described whole project of heartbeat counter, properties of separated blocks and calculation of useful parameters. Further there is noted software resolution for the microcontroller and program for the calculation of heart rate frequency including unwinding signal preprocessing and detection of separated QRS complexes. The products of this diploma thesis are the circuit including the board circuit and codes of separated programs.

Abstract:

Abstract Operating system software of a prototype autonomous vehicle is presented in this paper. The prototype Autonomous Vehicle employs binary camera vision for navigation and is differentially steered. The software is a top-down design, modular in architecture to facilitate software maintenance and continual enhancement. At this present stage of development, it contains several parameter definition files and close to 50 major sub functions/sub function groups besides the main supervisory module. The subroutines range from system validation (data acquisition in real-time) and equipment calibration, image data filtering and processing to the driving and steering of the vehicle. The control codes are developed using the Borland Turbo-C compiler.

Abstract:

Abstract In the past decade, sophisticated mathematical, statistical and graphical routines have been added to spreadsheet packages, thus converting them to serious analytical tools. The engineering community has adopted these packages to perform various sensitivity analyses on design problems which lend themselves to these types of applications. Design engineers can now rapidly and conveniently utilize these tools to perform a wide variety of analyses on design problems having simple geometries and loading conditions, without having to develop any FORTRAN, Basic or C code. This paper is concerned with the applications of spreadsheet packages in the area of steady and transient thermal analysis, design optimization and solution of initial-value differential equations. Lotus 1-2-3 in conjunction with the explicit finite difference method (Gauss-Seidel method) has been used to predict transient temperature distribution in an axi-symmetric model of the barrel of a handgun. Borland International Quattro Pro spreadsheet program along with Runge-Kutta and Newmark numerical integration techniques have been employed to optimally design the recoil system of a handgun. Also, the use of Quattro Pro for constructing the contour plots of temperature in a Very Large Scale Integrated (VLSI) chip and the IBM 3081 TCM cold plate are demonstrated. Finally, the built-in Error and Bessel functions in Microsoft Excel have been used to find temperature distribution in a semi-infinite and cylindrical objects.

Abstract:

Oil and gas transportation pipelines are the key equipment in petroleum and chemical industry. At present, with the increase of transportation task in oil fields, real-time leak detection system becomes a demand that petroleum companies need to safeguard routines. At the heart of the leakage monitoring and detection procedures are the report of leakage event timely and of leakage point precisely. This paper presents a more realistic approach for using rarefaction-pressure wave technique in oil pipelines, which aims to two targets, one is the improvement of remote and intelligent degree, and the other is the improvement of the leakage location ability. This paper introduces a new scheme to meet the requirements of real time and high data transferring necessary for remote monitoring and leak detection methods for pipelines. The scheme is based on SCADA framework for remote pipeline leakage diagnosis, in which the Dynamic Data Exchange technology is utilized to construct the data-acquiring component to acquire the real-time information that could perform remote test and analysis. It also introduces a basic concept and structure of the remote leak detection system. Primarily, an embedded leak-detection package is designed to exchange the diagnostic information with the RTU data package of Modbus protocol, and then via fiber network, the SCADA-based remote monitoring and leak detection system is realized. Existing data acquisition apparatus applied in oil fields and city underground water pipeline is used, without changing the structure of pipeline supervisory system. This paper introduces the method of constructing DDE-based hot links between servers and client terminals, using Borland C++ Builder 6.0 development environment, and also explains the universality and friendliness of the method. It can easily access similar Windows’ applications simply by modifying Service names, Topic options and data Items. System feasibility was tested using negative-pressure data from oil-fields. Additionally, the applied results show that the whole running status of pipeline can be monitored effectively, and a higher automation grade and an excellent leak location precision of the system can be obtained.
